and technically i disappeared cuz i had a mom looking over my shoulder at everything i did.... so i went to something that was harmless (like quizzes on facebook)

cuz it's a friday. and not really but i don't like her reading any of my conversations.

yeah, my mom was looking over my shoulder earlier today and I was just staring at her as I typed. she got the hint.

lol yes but if i do that my mom starts asking me what it is i don't want her to see and gets all paranoid and so it's not worth the argument and i usually just give and stop talking until she's done looking over my shoulder.

I stop working when people look over my shoulder. my mom sees it more as, "go away" or "Why are you still here?" than "I don't want you to see this"

for my mom it's totally a 'i don't want you to see this'

good thing we're going back to college soon! you're mom has got to get over stuff like that eventually

probably not.... mothers in my family are like always majorly involved with their children's lives unless the children make a big deal about not allowing the mother's to be.....

you need a new mommy then. reminds me of some commercial. I don't remember what its for though. some guy goes from mother to mother though. don't be like that to your kids!

sadly i probably will be on some level... i already know i'm going to be one heck of a mother to deal with (meaning that if you cross my kids you cross me.) I think the whole hyper-involved thing in my family has to do with two things really, we are all really really big worriers and we also have ridiculiously strong protective streaks.
