Yes! Two of them are advance reader copies of books that won't even come out until next year so that's fun! Plus a Star Wars one I didn't have in my collection yet.

One of my wigs, my sister told me it looked like Daphne from scooby doo, so I bought a purple dress, green neck scarf, and a purple headband and I'm dressing up as Daphne!

OMG now this I want to see a picture of! I just realized I didn't make a Halloween avi. It's kind of too late now though. Oh well!

Please excuse my poor selfie taking skills

I did also have a Scooby plushie, but I couldn't hold him and take pictures.

That’s so clever! Turned out great too.

I had a Halloween party at my house and have been begrudgingly taking down all the decorations and storing them away. I was dressed up in a slightly skimpy nun outfit and had horns that looked like they were pushing through my skin and blood tears lol a bit gorey, but I had fun. I loved making a bunch of themed foods too.

OMG that costume is perfect!!! You look amazing Cora!

I just finished the book "In Five Years" and man that it destroyed me holy hell. I mean, I'm in a bit of a crying mood anyway but that book made me sob and I don't usually cry when I read.

Just finished reading The Luminous Dead and enjoyed the eerie sci finess of it.

Just finished What Mother Won't Tell Me in two days. It was so suspenseful I had to know what would happen! Also I just plunked down like $100 on more books, oops.

It’s sad how expensive books are these days. I miss $9 mass market paperbacks. They’re so uncommon now.

Sadly, it just reflects economy as a whole. I used to be able to do a weeks worth of grocery shopping for $40, now I'm lucky to leave the grocery store spending less then $120 or so. Its sickening.

I just finished This City Beautiful by Aiden Polydoros. I've been trying to finish this book since June. Not because it wasn't good, but because I've been in one of the worst reading slumps of my life. Every time I've tried to read something this year, it's been like pulling teeth!

I used to get pretty much all of my books from the library and wouldn't buy a physical copy of a book unless it was one of my favorites but I've started purchasing some. I also go to a lot of the "little free libraries" and get a lot of free books that way. Once I'm done I'll swap them back so someone else can read them!

We have like three or four free libraries in my neighborhood, but they almost never have anything I'm interested in.

I live in an extremely small town, there is a free library here....but given there isn't many people to use it.....it is usually empty

When I lived in Brooklyn there was an amazing selection in the little free libraries. Elsewhere...not so much. It's my dream though to have my own book box in my yard when I ever get a house.
