Yeah we are alright, its just really hot in the house.
It was 95 degrees today & that storm was a lot of lightning & wind.

well righ tnow much better then earlier.. i had to wait until noon for them to come and put the AC in so i was miserable.. sweat all but COATING my skin.. they poped it in and th eliving room is finally starting to cool down i can actually THINK again.. which is just..yeah ..awesome.. and i got some more books i hadn't read by Mercedes Lackey.. the Collegium Chronicles..

I'm glad you have AC again.
I'm just happy this nasty storm finally got past us. It was lightning when I got home so I couldn't even have a quick shower after work. (yuck)

Even after the storm passed I had to wait for the power to come back on because I have well water & when the power is out you have no water.
I think that is one of the things I miss most about my parents house, they had city water & even when the power was out they still had water.

oh man that has gotta suck..i went thorugh a day, the HOTTEST day of the summer they decided to work on the water or sueage or something.. and they turned the water off.. i didn't notice until i wen tto get a cup of water and then its like 'do what..' they hadn't even given us a heads up ..

They should of given some notice unless it was an emergency.

can't they I dunno give you breaks inside to cool off? or give you a shaded area to work..?
