Whats going on: A war wages between the Light Elves and the Dark Elves. Saito is heading the army on the front lines. Meanwhile, Talin, Malak, Aryn and the rest are plotting a way to defeat the leader of the Dark elves, Arys, and put an end to this war. Everyone seems to be connected by the horrors Arys has brought to the lands and thus choosing to unite against him.
Please forgive the lack of a story line at this time, it is still under construction. If you would like to join, but want a little insight to what the premise of the story line is, please feel free to PM me. I will give you a general rundown, the best I can at this time. Until my counterpart finally delivers the storyline to me.

Rules of the RPX
1. Standard Mene rules apply (Of course)
2. If your character uses any weapons, please try to keep them believable. (i.e. No dragging around trebuchets or making them randomly appear please.)
3. Literacy, I am fairly lenient when it comes to grammar and spelling, but please if possible, use spell check and try to make complete sentences.
4. Keep one liners to a minimum, if you can't think of anything, that is fine. Just make sure you give other people something to work with.
5. No god characters, if they’re really good at something that’s alright but if there’s a fight let them get injured a couple of times if attacked. (I can not stress this enough, if I receive a complaint about such things happening, I will attempt to fix it with the party involved. A.k.a. If someone is doing such things, do not start going after them yourselves. Write me a PM, and I will see to it the problem is taken care of.)
6. Power play: As everyone should know, this is something that should not be done without the explicit permission of the person that truly controls that character. I will let it slide every now and then, but two conditions must be met. The first is of course, getting permission from the creator of that character. The second, you are only allowed to put their character to bed for them, nothing else.
7. This is a free form RP, so anyone is welcome to join at anytime. All I ask is that when you join, you please PM a bio for your character to me so I may add it to the front page for referencing.
8. To be allowed to kill another character, you MUST have the explicit permission of the owner of said character. (I.e. They must also let me know they have given you this permission, forwarding a PM from them will not cut it, I need it directly from them.)
9. Having multiple characters is fine, but please keep in mind how much you can actually handle. If it becomes to much for you to handle, let me know and we will work something out. =^.^=
10. Keep things PG-17 please. Violence, gore and romance is allowed, this includes all races romance. However what I don't want to see is any form nookie alright? You know what's acceptable on here and what's not. If you wish to go overly graphic in something that you know would get the board in trouble then take it to a PM. You can hint to things though if again it's something overly graphic keep the hint vague... (I will say this one time and one time only. If anyone brings the wrath of the mods down upon me, I will see to it that not only will they be utterly removed from this thread. They will not be allowed to join anymore RP's started by myself, p2mangil, or Kioko. No exceptions!)
11. When it comes to speaking OOC, I will typically use double parenthesis, this is not the standard of the RP. All that is asked is that you please make some type of distinguished mark when speaking OOC.
12. I know it can be quite tedious sometimes, but please make sure you read everyones posts, you never know when you may miss something very important about them, or something that may affect your character(s).
13. Character Races: Please, when creating your character, keep in mind what other people are using. We are trying to avoid having a flood of one race in here, I will leave it to everyones discretion on their creations, but if I see a lot of the same type, we will start working on trying to even things a bit.
14. Please try not to be generic. (I.e. Vampires named Vlad, stuff like that.) Be creative, that is the whole point of RP, right? Have fun with your character.
15. Please, try not to allow your characters be 'emo.'
16. Last, but certainly not least, be respectful of the other people in this RP. Both in the RP and OOC. Flaming, or anything else that is disrespectful towards other people can and will result in possible removal from the RP.

((Malayn)) Talin Korinth: An Elvish Demon working under the banner of Arys Malakai Korinth. Along with being the son of Arys, he is also one of the top assassins in Arys' guild of assassins. Along with his work as an assassin, he is the second in command of the military under Saito, Angil's brother, in their home country. Talin was one of the people that caused the war to start and destroy his homeland by making a pact with his father and some....not so easily spoken of partners. The night the war started, Talin abandoned his post to allow the enemies of his home entry. He was not at his post, due to the fact he was in the process of murdering his mother for not following the path he had set out before them. Talin, under orders of Saito, was the one that repressed Angil's memories and in turn caused her rage to become a separate entity inside her own body.
((Malayn)) Malakai Korinth: Son of Arys Malakai Korinth, brother of Talin Korinth, known by most as Malak. After intense training he achieved the title of Elemental Swordsman. He fights under the banner of Aryn Marie Korinth, his aunt. He is one of the most brutal, yet kind fighters under Aryn. Malak passed away at the beginning of the war, only to be brought back to life by the Angel Akio, as a way of assisting Angil. When he finished his training as an Elemental Swordsman, he received a gift from Aryn that allows him to transform into a fox at will.
((Malayn)) Naoki Korinth: Naoki is the last kitsune of his clan. He was saved a very long time ago and has lived almost all of his life as a servant to his savior, Aryn. He wears a studded collar about his neck with a nautical star hanging from the front. Unlike Talin and Malak, Naoki was not originally a Korinth, he was given the surname since he had lost his original over the years because it was never used. Feeling sorry for him, Aryn adopted him as her own and gave him the name Korinth. Naoki is not much of a fighter, but excels with both the longbow and illusory magic.
((Malayn)) Arys Malakai Korinth: Father of both Talin and Malak, brother to Aryn, and former husband of the demon, Soyu. Arys is the leader of a very strong network of assassins. Because of his choice to marry a demon many thousands of years ago, he caused his family to be dropped from grace in their homeland. Once he grew annoyed by having to keep his wife locked away from the views of the rest of the Elves, he left his homeland, abandoning his family. Once he left, he slowly grew his fame and reputation as being cruel by creating a guild of assassins.

Not much is known about her past, since she doesn't recall much of it. She only recently remembered her last name, and the fact her parents were killed when she was young. Even with all of the crimes Arys has committed, Aryn, like Talin and Malak, has never been able to bring herself to end his life, or his tyranny. The one thing that both Aryn and Arys share in common is the fact they are very elegant in the way they carry themselves and dress.

Mother and father loved her very much, but she lost them at age 17, right before she was asked to leave her home village. Was a wanderer before meeting Talin, who she has recently chosen to stand by as a friend, and now lover.
Side note: Stubborn as a mule, and hides face under cloak, ditched the mask several months ago.

Mika woke up, still in her fox form, and grabbed her clothes in her mouth and dragged them to the bathroom. She transformed back into her human form, then got dressed. She walked back out into the kitchen and began cooking breakfast.
Naoki watches her from the table by the wall inside the kitchen. "Ello...Mika-san." He slowly stands up and walks over behind Mika. "Whatcha cooking, beautiful?"
He starts massaging her shoulders as she cooks. "You tell me, sweetheart. Feel like the strength is back?" He smiles happily, enjoying the scent of the bacon cooking. "Smells great."
Naoki nods his head, "True....I guess that does make a slight bit of difference." He leans forward and kisses her neck softly. "I'll keep that in mind, next time."
Naoki steps back from her, "Nor am I.....forgive me, I don't understand what came over me." He starts blushing heavily, a bit embarrassed by his actions. "I-I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable." He walks over to his table and starts reading the book he stole from Aryn, studying his and Mika's clan history.
"Pancakes? What is a 'pancake?'" He looks up from the book and gives his attention to Mika, a confused expression on his face. "I've never heard of them before....."
"A pancake is kinda just what it sounds like, its a cake pretty much, cooked in a pan. People make them with chocolate chips, blueberries, raspberries, and all sorts of things. It's usually eaten with maple syrup and butter. If you like or know what waffles are, you'll like pancakes." She served him breakfast first. "I had to cook these for Arys all the time.."
"I can't wait to cook for you." He smiles, his face turning a bit red before he starts eating the pancakes. His eyes widen a bit as he takes a bite. "T-This....its amazing. W-Would it be too much trouble for me to ask if you could teach me to make them?"
Naoki finishes his breakfast and stands up, grabbing her plate as well as he walks over to the sink. "Thank you very much.....Mika-san." He places the dishes beside the sink and starts cleaning them off.
He nods his head, blushing a bit as he continues cleaning the plates. "S-Sorry.....I forgot. Please forgive me." Why do I stutter so much around her.....This makes no sense.
Naoki finishes cleaning the dishes and turns around quickly to face her. "T-Thank you...." He smiles weakly as he hugs her close, feeling his heart beating rapidly as he wraps his tail about her waist. "M-Mika...." He whispers softly.

"N-Nothing...." He looks down quickly, a bit embarrassed at his cowardice. He bites his lower lip as he slowly looks up and into Mika's eyes, feeling himself becoming lost in them.
