→Our story takes place in modern day earth. There are four girls and four guys, each with their own unique power. They are all best friends that grew up in the streets together, outcasts of society you could call them. People are afraid of their "gifts". They made a pact to always stick together. During their childhood, a man named Shindou became extremely powerful and controls what people call The Darkness. The world's only hope were these four children, they just didn't know it yet, but Shindou did. He sought to destroy them, but then came up with a better plan. He realized that killing the children would make them realize that they are a threat, bind them together more tightly than they were before. So he decided to take the males away from the females and train them. He offered the males something they couldn't resist, power, a chance to get revenge on those that had tormented them their whole life. By separating the children, Shindou could then take over, with the males on his side, turned into killing heartless machines, he could get rid of the females. Except when he took the males away he didn't reveal this part of the plan. They had no idea that they would be sent out to capture their childhood friends and keep them from ruining their masters plan. A few years had gone by. The Darkness is growing along with Shindou's contorl of the world. The males had completely forgotten about their female companions and were focused on their training and strengthening their powers. The females were left behind in the town where they grew up to fend for themselves. So what happens when the males are finally sent out on their mission to capture the females and bring them back to Shindou's layer? Will the females give in to the darkness and become as ruthless as the males, or will they convince their childhood friends to leave Shindou and the darkness behind? Enemies will be made, others will fall in love. Not to mention Betrayal when two of the girls decide that joining the Darkness carries more hope than fighting it.←

→Hello! The rules are in paragraph form, so they're a little messy. Be sure to read all of this! To start things off, it is a given that the role players who participate in this thread follow the Gaia ToS. Alright? Now, I am the thread owner. I have the right to modify the rules as much as I'd like. I also have the right to deny a persons reservation or profile. Please don't take it offensively, and don't cry to me. I really don't want to deal with that. Boys can play girls and girls can play boys. I'm alright with any sexual preference, but if it's not your cup of tea then kindly leave. This role play is centered around romance and drama. (With much emphasis on drama.) I look forward to love octagons, cheating, break-ups, make-ups... I also love when the feelings between two characters have more depth than just instant love. It's boring, and unexplained! Romance is encouraged, so if your character happens to like another character, don't make it 'Love at first sight'. I don't believe in it, it's really overdone- It's only lust at first sight. Know the difference between lust and love, people! Continuing with the Lovey-Dovey topic, keep things pg-15. (It's a rating nao, bish! ) I don't want any explicit details about what you two do together; Just time skip it! It's alright to say something along the lines of... 'And before I knew it, my bra hit the floor... The next morning-' Get it? Kissing and hugging is acceptable. A pet peeve of mine is god modding. None of that! You cannot just automatically hit another character, give them a chance to react by themselves! And another thing... Cussing. It's alright when your character has a fit of rage and talks crap about someone. Just don't ******* do ******* this *** every ******* other ******** word, alright? The last for the 'General Rules'- I do not want any of the role players being rude to one another. Be kind and courteous, and don't take things offensively if their character insults your character. Another thing - You get three warnings, then you're out!

Kay as for posting. I want a decent sized paragraph, even with writer's block. Just describe things and you can get a decent paragraph. I'm going to put a maximum limit at seven paragraphs. Honestly, no one wants to read that much okay? Okay. I want pretty posts, it makes it more interesting. All I'm asking for is a pic of your character, maybe some icons and a quote. Make it colorful. Oh that brings me to your text. Don't make it a blinding color. Let me give you a hint, if you have to highlight it then it's too bright. So that means no bright yellow or blue or green or any neon colors, mmkay? As for grammar, I'm not a grammar snob. We all make mistakes, hey we're human. But if it's so distracting that we can't understand what you're trying to say I'll ask you to edit it. If we still can't understand it, you're out. So that leaves the final two things. One no text talk, unless your character is texting, speech is to be colored and quoted, thoughts are to be colored and italicized, and texting is to be underlined and colored. That leaves how often you must post. We all have lives outside of Gaia, I get it, I want at least a post every two days, if you're going to be gone for more than three days please let me know so I can let others know.

We are all people, and people aren't perfect. Learn to love that. I want to avoid the overuse of scene kids. Yes, they look pretty and colorful. Attempt to make your characters look like their role. I like variation, okay? I have the right to ask you to switch your character picture or celebrity. And please don't go off and find pictures of different people, and say they're one person. It looks silly. Try your best to fill out the profile. A good profile is what will get you in. I love originality... go to town. Make your character like no other.
