Leisel was quite surprised by how deeply her musings had effected her twin. The dark glare he sent her way scared her and she immediately shut her mouth and turned to look out the window. A moment later Maxwell rolled over and buried his face into her stomach. She could feel the heat of Maxwell's breath through her shirt but didn't budge. She did her best to ignore him but it was difficult, as it always had been.
Reaching over to the door, Liesel cranked the handle of the window to open the window a few inches. Her long hair loosened itself from behind her and blew in wisps around her face. It was still quite wet and the back of her shirt was damp from sitting against it. The wind would likely dry it by the time they reached the airport however so she wasn't worried about it.
Looking out the open window at the countryside Liesel watched the countryside blur by and wondered what their new home would be like. Would the campus be in the middle of a bustling city? Or perhaps secluded deep within an ancient forest? It sure was far enough away... Liesel had never been so far from home and neither had Maxwell so she could only imagine what it might be like.
