Saiyuri looked around the Girl's Dormitory, now empty of everyone but herself. Wishing that Lucia could have been with her, she began to draw the Girl's Common Room as an additive for her next letter. Looking at the time and noticing it was quarter after 9, shequickly took out her sketch book, as well as her colored pencil selection, and began to draw her section of the room as seen from across the Girl's Dormitory.
Saiyuri's section of the room was small, but very regal and elegant. Everything was antique and hand crafted by her family's household staff on the day she was born. The first object to be drawn, was her bed: A four post bed with deep blue drapes. A star design decorated the edges in gold while bronze swirls weaved in and out of the stars. The sheet set was a light blue while her pillow cases were a deep bronze. The thick goose-feather comfortor was a medium blue that had an elegantly embroidered golden SL in the center, written so that the loops of the L intertwined with the curves of the S. Lucia has the exact same bedset but in the color scheme of Violets and Deep Purples.
Next was the stand that stood directly to the left of the bed. This stand had Saiyuri's Potions Book as well as her Transfiguration Book. The stand stood 2 feet high, 1 foot wide, and was made of a dark oak.
The stand to the right of the bed followd. It was the twin to the former stand and a still picture of Saiyuri and her family was placed upon it in a golden frame. The edges of the frame, were Roses with vines that interlaced with loops and curves of the stems of Lilies.
Saiyuri finished the drawing with a large portrait that resided on wall next to her bed that was hand painted by the painter Dan Gerhartz. The portrait contained two girls the age of 15, one with long, wavy, dark purple hair and the other with long, blonde hair that was strait as a pin. The former had dark brown eyes and the latter had deep sapphire eyes. The young girls were identical with the exception of these small differences. The young ladies in this portrait, were Saiyuri and Lucia.
Saiyuri took did this portrait in great detail and finally finished by adding herself drawing on the bed. When it was through, Saiyuri looked at the clock and saw it was half past 11 and decided to put everything away and head down to the Common Room.
Drew chuckled as he saw a sleepy Saiyuri trickle down from the Dormitory, "You're a mess. Come here, let me clean you up."
Saiyuri rolled her eyes, "Drew, I can manage myself."
"Sure you can, now come here. You're half asleep as it is," Drew smiled as Saiyuri obliged and walked over to him. He muttered an incantation and a bar of soap, a cloth, and a small basin of water floated in the air beside him. He took the cloth, soaked it in water, and rubbed the bar of soap on it. After ringing it out, he began to wash the pencil from Saiyuri's hands and face. Once through with washing and rinsing Saiyuri's face and hands, the basin and such disappeared and in its place was a soft towel, which Drew then used to dry Saiyuri's face.
"You really shouldn't do the test tonight. Anna probably won't even show, she is a Gryffie after all."
Half dazed and asleep, Saiyuri muttered, "I have to.. I know she'll... make it.. if... I.."
Before even finishing her sentence, Saiyuri was falling towards Drew, asleep from exhaustion. Saiyuri, although very brilliant and outgoing, had been suffering from a long term illness that caused her to become sleepy and have little or no energy for hours at a time. Drew was the only one who knew of this secret, was was very good at keeping it. He smiled as he picked her up in his arms and laid her on the couch, allowing her to rest for at least a half an hour. Until then, he sat across from her near the fireplace and began reading the Daily Prophet.
