Alexander smirked as the blood spattered his clothes, she shouldn't have turned him down so harshly. He shook his head thinking back to it, 'bitch.' He wrapped her up and threw her into the dumpster, he hoped no one was looking. Alexander went back into the restaurant from the back and found a clean jacket and shirt, putting the other ones in a bag and went back out the door. He thought he saw someone, "Hey! What are you doing there?"

Lynn ducked into the shadows after witnessing the grisly murder and the woman wrapped up... By none other than the wealthy Alexander Henry Christopher the Third, master of the Henry plantation some blocks down the Quarter from her own house. He'd been the premiere bachelor at all the parties, being the most handsome man in town in their time.. And yet, he was proud and haughty to a fault... And apparently did not take to rejection so well. She clasped her hands over her mouth, trying not to make a noise to alert the man of her presence. Lynn was an innocent young woman, with light brown hair and eyes. She could never hurt a fly for herself. She'd been out looking for her father, who'd gone into the restaurant, and while out back she'd... Lynn didn't want to think about it anymore.

Alexander disappeared back into the building after he'd deposited the body in a nearby dumpster. The girl finally thought she had a chance to escape without the man knowing she'd seen everything. But, even after she'd wracked up the nerve to move, run past the place... She'd just as soon reached the corner when the man was back outside again, spotting her dark silhouette against the streetlamps' dim light. Lynn gave a little cry and turned, her long hair fanning out behind her. She ran. She ran as fast as she could in heels and a long dress, down the side of the street.

"Shit" Alexander screamed lightly before starting to run after the girl, he recognized her from all the banquets that had been held that year, he always wanted to court her,he thought she was stunning, but thought he was too good for her. Now she had seen him murder that girl, he needed to get her. And fast.

Thankfully the back of the restaurant was part of a long alley so he didn't have to worry about his appearance for the moment. Snow started falling, a good amount to cover the bloody pavement, but also to make tracks, he sped up, gaining on her, he managed to grab her long brown hair. "Hello Miss. Peters, I believe you saw something you shouldn't have." He smiled evilly and held her waist and hair. "You're going to have to come with me."

Fixing his jacket and hair he looked her in the eyes, looking to see what she was going to do, keeping one hand around her waist he reached into his pocket for a cloth covered with a clear liquid, a pre-caution for now.

Lynn yelped when the man caught up with her, grabbing her by her long hair and jerking her back against him. She was soon caught by the waist firmly while he yanked her hair up with the other hand. It was painful, so she gnashed her teeth a little and glared at him. Her glare wasn't very intimidating, however. She had too sweet of a face to look formidable. The man, Alexander, was extremely handsome, though he'd never paid any mind to her at parties. She'd always assumed that he preferred more... Comely women, rather than cute. She was not so tall, and looked more like a doll rather than a vixen. Alexander had always pursued the long-legged girls with generous chests and fair, curly hair... The most expensive gowns. But she was too scared of him to be jealous, now. Those women didn't know what he was capable of.

"Why should I come with you?" she said, though her voice was faint and frail. Lynn was obviously fighting very hard to be brave. "You are an evil man. A very, very evil man. I might end up like that poor woman back there..." And, in a futile attempt to escape, Lynn Peters began to struggle in the man's grasp. She writhed and flailed, trying to take his hand from her hair and his arm from her waist. But the action was met with a damp cloth to her mouth. The scent of it knocked her unconscious, and she fell limp in Alexander's arms.

"You're coming with me because I told you to do so, that's why, and every young woman should know to listen to a man when he says to do something." He snickered, "Naive little girl." When she attempted to struggle Alexander just simply moved his hand from his side to her mouth, making her temporarily pass out.

Picking up her body bridal style when she slumped in her arms, he put on his society face and headed home, he hoped there would be no one to question him on anything, but with his luck tonight someone was bound to stop and ask about her, even though it's none of their business.

He started thinking up a story, Her and her courter had a bit too much wine, he got into a little scuffle with the staff at the restaurant so I decided to take her home to bring her back to her health. Alexander smiled at himself, 'So smart.' he thought.

Lynn had strange dreams. They involved a dark room, an open window, and gauze curtains swaying from the wind drifting into the house from across the bayou. She saw a tall, shadow mass, standing by the windowsill as the dim moonlight filtered in. The figure was almost human, in height, but it was black and had no details on it. Not even a face. But when the figure moved closer to her, she thought she could make out something more. A mouth grew on the black shadow, where its head would be. The mouth spread into a wide, maniacal grin, filled with long rows of razor-sharp, pointed teeth. The girl screamed, shrinking back into her pillows and covering her head with her arms. The mouth grew to an impossible size and opened around her, as if to swallow her. She though that she was going to die.

Lynn's eyes shot open. She was in a dark room, in reality. She had to blink her eyes a couple of times to adjust them, but it seemed that the chamber was small and scarcely decorated... With no windows. The wallpaper was a plain, vintage cream pattern. Vertical lines stretching from the crown-molded ceiling to the trim around the bottom of the walls... Just above where the wall met the dark wooden floorboards. Lynn Peters was tucked into a tiny twin-sized bed, dressed with white sheets and a comforter... And matching pillowcases. It was a modest sized room with little to no furnishings, except for an empty chair in the far corner and a plain wooden nightstand to her right. She looked under the blankets and was disgusted to find she'd been changed into a nightgown. The girl hoped, desperately, that the disgusting criminal Alexander Henry Christopher III had not undressed and changed her himself.

Moving like a snake from the shadows Alexander spoke, "Hello my dear, sorry I had to treat you so roughly, but I couldn't let you ruin my reputation, that's all I have in this city." He moved closer and sat down on the edge of the bed, "You're probably wondering if I changed you, I didn't my maid Sierra did, I just told her you had a bit too much wine at Ambroise's Restaurant." He chuckled at himself, then caressed her cheek, "You're such a sweet little girl, I wish I could trust you, but I cannot, until it's possible to do so you're going to remain in this room. Food, water and such other necessities will be brought to you by Sierra. If you need to use the lavatory you will have to wait until I come back to the you to take you to it."

He remembered there were two windows and a door in the room, "This is one of the guest rooms, I don't mind leaving you here, but if you attempt to escape me then I will move you to the basement." He frowned, "I would hate to be so harsh to you. Caring for you will make me a better person, don't make me regret it, Please."

Lynn jerked back away from the man's hand, making a futile attempt to glare at him again. As before, it only served to appear more cute than intimidating. She cursed her sweet, doll-like face under her breath. She listened to his words, growling softly. Did he honestly think she would cooperate with him? He was a murderer! Lynn had seen the horrendous deed with her own eyes, and there was no possible way that she could feel sorry for him, or ever trust him to treat her properly. If she stepped out of line, he might kill her, too! What was more, she never drank wine, so that explanation would hardly work on those who knew her well. What Lynn needed was a plan--a plan to escape the man's grasp and leave the house. But it would take careful thinking and preparation to accomplish.

"You deserve everything you get," she hissed, narrowing her chocolate brown eyes at Alexander. "You are a cruel person, and should be in jail for what you did. You can't keep me here forever. My parents are wealthy, and once they notice I am missing, they will scour the town for me! Someone is bound to pick up my tracks, or at least find you out." Her face darkened momentarily and she averted her gaze. "Why bother feeding me food and water? Why not kill me, too? You've already dug yourself deep into the hole you're in," Lynn said softly. "I used to think you were a respectable, handsome man. But I was wrong."

"Your parents won't find out, their money has nothing to do with it, my family most likely has more and all I simply have to do is tell my mother that I took you to our private lodge up on the mountains, and that we will be back in two weeks time." He smiled thinking of how their time at the lodge would go, "We may possible do so, to me it seems like that would go well, do you like the snow my dear?" Moving to the foot of the garnished bed Alexander shut the simple but ornate door slowly and put his hands on foot-board. "Our time together will make you feel differently towards me, I have a very persuasive personality." He spoke stroking his own ego, haughtily. He stepped back and forth on his two feet making the polished wooden floor squeak in pain.

Alexander laughed lightly at her, "My sweet I'm feeding you and caring for you because I find you to be ravishing, courting all those other ladies was just my plan to make you jealous. The one you saw me..." he coughed slightly, "handling roughly threatened to tell you of my plan because I wouldn't give her what she wanted, what I mumbled wasn't the real reason I did that to her, I swear it." He crossed his finger over his heart in an 'X'.

What a liar! Alexander did not care if she existed, so much as did all of those things just to attract her attention! What was more, any guy who would knock off a rival female just because she would not leave him alone would assuredly be a complete jerk... It was still too extreme a measure! Somehow, Lynn could not believe he would mutter a lie to himself in the alley when he has not known that anyone was watching. It was not until after he came out of the restaurant that he noticed Lynn attempting to escape, and then he acted accordingly--capturing her to make sure she never told. Honestly, the girl was terrified of being taken out to a lodge in the mountains to spend "quality time" with a murderer--even one she would have liked as a suitor but a day before!

"I'm not stupid," Lynn said quietly, averting her eyes from the man, who leaned over the headboard with a smirk and smoldering eyes. Did he have to be that handsome, when he was so evil? Frankly, he was the real-life equivalent of Dorian Grey. Gorgeous, but rotten to the core. And more than willing to cause a girl to commit suicide over her love of him. "You're going to go to hell." She fixed her big eyes on him again, her brows furrowing and her mouth curling downward in a frown. "And I will never like you, so don't even try it. Seducing people so they won't talk... Shame on you! And a couple of weeks isolated in the mountains certainly won't change that, I assure you. You'd be better off returning me to my parents, before things get ugly."

((sorry it's taken so long to reply, I was grounded.))

Alexander smirked, "I am not going to hell, that place is too cold for me," he laughed lightly, "Fiery is the best way for everything, especially woman, like you." Alexander brought a chair up to the bed and sat down in it looking at Lynn with analyzing eyes, "Attempting to seduce you was not part of my plan, I just wanted to spend some time with you and get to know you on a personal level. Why must you make it seem like I'm such an evil man? In truth, I'm afraid to do as you say, I don't want you to run away from me, if you do that I'll never have a chance with a beauty such as yourself." He really did not find anything askew in his plans, there may have been something psychologically wrong in his head, but their was no difference between what he was just doing what he was raised to do. Thinking back to his childhood Alexander looked at the wall past the bed Lynn was lying in.
His eyes almost glazed over from looking into his past.

Alexander Henry Christopher the second was standing above a woman, his wife, beating her not even acknowledging that his son was standing in the doorway. Alexander the third was confused and frightened and just watched his mother getting beaten up sitting in the doorway rocking back and forth. The next morning his father came into his room and boomed his voice while the little boy was sleeping, "Son. What you saw last night is how woman you love are to be treated, they need to be kept in line and disciplined otherwise they will leave you because you are a pansy!" Clearing his throat he began to leave his room, "See you at breakfast." Everyday was like that in the Christopher household, no one but the three of them knew, the family managed to hide the abusiveness of the father from the rest of society.

"Lynn, I'm just doing what I was raised to do as a little child, if I'm doing something wrong I apoligize." Sitting their Alexander put his head on his hands looking like a little child again, questioning his morals inside his brain, raking it like he had done for so many years as a child until his mother just told him to believe his father and copy his father's behavior for his own safety. "I'm sorry Lynn."
