Swan Lake <3

In a land far away lived a beautiful Princess named Odette lived with her father in a very luxurious castle when she was suddenly kidnapped at the age of seventeen. Many more kidnappings happened after this but no one knew where Odette and the other villagers disappeared to and stopped looking for them after a few months. Two years after their disappearance a kingdom nearby started to celebrate a royal festival in which their son would be turning twenty one and would pick his next queen. At the beginning of the festival the boy is given a bow n arrow to go hunting with a group of his friends before his marriage is arranged. What will he find on his trip in the forest? Will he or his friends die? Will they find the lost princess and villagers?

* Odette *
Odette is the daughter of King William and lived in a castle not to far away from the prince's kingdom. She was kidnapped by an Evil sorcoror named Von Rothbart who had hated her father and vowed that he would take everything he ever loved away from him, including his daughter. After Von Rothbart kidnapped her he took her to old castle ruins in the forest and led her to a small lake where he put a spell on her so that everyday she would be a swan and only at night when the moon hits the lake would she be able to turn into a human again. There are many other people on ' Swan Lake' that are under the same spell as Odette, and were once villagers. They named her their Princess since she was once their ruler before her being kidnapped and tried their best to live in harmony on the lake. For the only way Odette and the others could return to their normal selves for good, was if a man, pure in heart, pledges his love to her. Then the spell would be broken.
* Von Rothbart*

Van, or Rothbart was once a very rich King that lived in a huge castle not to far from King William's kingdom or the Prince's kingdom. But he lost everything after losing a gambling bet against King William. He then vowed to take everything from him, including his daughter. Rothbart once had a very beautiful wife but she died of tuberculosis a few years after giving birth to his daughter Odile. His new plan was to force Odette to marry him so she could take control of her kingdom, then kill her to be the sole ruler. In order to do so he changed his daughter Odile to look just like Odette, except much more crueler so that she would marry the prince in order for them to rule ALL of the land. Rothbart is able to turn into a raven.

* Odile ~ The Black Swan *--OnYeen

Odile was once a beautiful princess that lived with her mother and father in a very elegant styled kingdom. Until her mother died of tuberculosis and her father lost the deed to their kingdom, and all their money. They then set search for a new home and found an old, abandoned castle in the middle of the woods. Ever since Odile was a young girl she would oddly turn into a black swan every night when the sun went down, and would only turn back to her beautiful self when the sun rised. So this castle was perfect for her. Odile has always wanted to marry the prince after seeing him hunting a few times before and want's to go along with her father's plan of trying to get the prince to fall for her instead of Odette. Her father had put a spell on Odile's appearance to make her look like Odette in hopes of her luering the prince and having him devote his love to her instead of Odette. For if his daughter finds love from a pure hearted man, she will never have to turn into a black swan again. Just like if Odette finds love the spell would be broken for everyone.

* Prince Derek *--Palmoun

The prince had just turned twenty one and was given a lovely crossbow to go hunting with his friends in hopes of taking his mind off of picking a wife. His festival was to last a week and within that time he was to be forced to pick a girl, which irked him since he loved being single, and no one appealed to him.

*King William*

Princess Odette's father. He is currently going to go to the Prince's festival. He has no wife because Odette's mother died during childbirth.

*Queen Uberta*-- Quarter_Queen

The prince's mother. She is obsessed with having her son get married since she fears that when she dies he will still be a bachelor. Her husband died when the prince was twelve during a hunting accident.

Any animal that you please may live on the lake as long as they belong there, you may come up with a story and name for these characters and must come up with a picture of them in their human forms, and a picture in their animal forms. They all turn into their human selves at night and animals during the day for only the black swan turns into an animal at night.

Odette was growing tired of being a swan. She sat sulkily in the water, swimming and bathing herself as she pleased, but the feeling of loneliness was driving her mad. Suddenly when she saw the moon hit the lake, and its light touch the feathers of her pure white wings, she stood up with her human legs. Her long neck grew average size again, and the feathers and strange body disappeared to show a thin, pale girl. She quickly ran to the shore and climbed up onto it, crawling over to a tree stump and lifting it up. Inside was the clothes of everyone on the lake, since when you change you reappear with no clothes. She quickly pulled on her teal and white dress and went over towards the water, running her hand through her long blonde hair to see if she looked decent. The fellow people of the lake had granted her the title of their Princess, or ruler of the pond for her beauty and intelligence. But, beauty meant nothing to her.

She sighed and twirled a strand of her hair, praying that Rothbart would not try to ask her to marry him again tonight. For whenever he visited he asked for her hand in marriage, and each time he asked.. she replied no. She knew Rothbart just wanted her kingdom and that love had absolutely nothing to do with it at all. She let out a small, sad sigh and sat down on the shore, looking at her reflection. "What a strange thing I am.. Swan by day, Girl by night." She whispered.

Scarlett felt herself expanding and changing from her tiny fish form into her usual human self. She swam up to the surface and fell onto the shore, coughing and spitting up the water that seemed to pour from her weak lungs. She pulled herself onto the grass more and stood up once she stopped coughing. She went over to the stump and pulled on a form fitting sapphire blue gown that her darling Vandor had gotten her before being put under the spell. She ran a hand though her hair and sat down on the ground by the stump, looking over towards Odette. Odette was such a beautiful creature, and so kind.. yet she was put through so much hell. Why do bad things happen to good people? Scarlett asked herself, knowing that she had deserved being taken here. She had fallen in love with a knight despite all her families warnings, and deserved to be punished when she was left in the woods by her family.

But that's when Rothbart showed up and took her far away from the spot her parent's left her in for the night. So the next day when they came back for her and she wasn't there they panicked and searched for hours. But nothing was found. Two years passed and the search stopped, for they would never find a fish girl.

Lucia, still in dove form, flew down with Vaughn following her and she landed next to the lake. She moved her snow white wings back and morphed back into her human form. She turned her head to Vaughn who bowed his raven head and morphed back into a human along with her. She smiled at him only to end up frowning a few seconds later. His face was full of sorrow and shame. She ran a finger through his hair and stayed silent.

Vaughn sighed and stood, pulling Lucia up with him. Turning his head away from her elegant face he spoke softly,"I'm sorry."

He said this every single day once they returned to their human form. She replied,"There's nothing to be sorry for."

Odile glared at the lake before her. Cringing, she walked into the water, looked up at the moon, and morphed into the black swan. Odile loathed being a black swan, even though the creature suited her personality, she only wanted something she had never fully felt in her life; happiness.

Walking on all fours, Jake stayed in his black feline form as he had a strange bag in his mouth while he walked. As he moved across the forest floor trying to reach back to the lake where he originally was turned into this form, the bag itself was also being dragged across the floor getting the entire bottom of it dirtied up. Jake didn't really care for the bag, but more importantly the stuff inside the bag stayed clean. Since it was his only pair of clothing that he took from his home before he was driven away by his own two parents. He had brought these clothing with him, due to the fact that he had already been able to tell by this point that whenever night came; his feline body would disappear and his human body would re-take it's shape.
So before even getting too far into the forest, Jake could feel the black fur on his body shedding off onto the floor as his tanish skin began to show. Along with his two legs growing out longer and his front paws turning into hands and fingers. "Finally. Took long enough." he stated quietly, before standing back up onto his own two feet and changing into his clothing(shown in picture). All the while he changed into his usual clothing, the moon shined down from a small crack up above in the trees as it gave him just enough light to be able to see what he was doing.
After he had finally gotten completely dressed, Jake stretched his arms out and dug the bag into his pant pockets, and began heading closer toward the lake. Jake had already known that Prince Derek was turning 21 by tomorrow, and that basically everyone in the land was invited. But really, he didn't think that he wanted to go that much; it didn't show much meaning to him; especially since in the day, he was usually always having to be in the form of the black cat. Which many people considered..bad luck.

Derek sighed as he headed out into the night to go and hunt. It was the only time in teh day that his mother wasn't down his back about marrying someone. He didn't really want to get married, he still hadn't met the right girl for him. ALl the girls his mother showed him where forced to do as his mother said. He just wanted to find the right girl and have a happy life but that seemed like something out of his reach.

He pulled out his bow and arrow as he headed into the forest and smiled as he started to look around. he hoped he could possibly bag something, night time was possibly the best time to hunt. It was also the most dangerous since most of the preditors came out but he didn't care. He wanted to get something.

Christian sighed as he saw hte moon come up. He layed in the water on his back and just floated there but slowly his body lost its brown fur and the tail he had dissappeared. Soon he was the same man who had just been very unlucky. He had only came out to explore and now look at him. he was forced to live as a otter. He slowly swam towards the shore and saw scarlett and Odette. They where both beautiful and kind. He knew both of their stories well since they where like his own. He just hoped that many one day they could be free of this curse.

Sam silently made her way to the lake. It was the only place to get some good water anywhere and she was thirsty. Her paws made no sound as she made her way threw the forest. Her light coat showed in the moon light and then slowly started to dissappear. Soon a girl just made her way threw the forest. yet in her mind she was till that leapard who walked the earth before.

Her human life was nothing, she knew nothing of how to be human. She didn't remember and that was how it was going to stay. She was forever to be this animal inside and out, no one wanted to get close to a beast. She soon got to the water and leaned down close. She drank deeply and then saw humans. This was hte first time in a long time she had came to this lake and she wondered who they where. But she crept back into the forest and watched from afar, she was a outside to them and probably would stay like this.

Carpathia slivered and slid across the grass as it tickled her scaly stomach. She was a snake, not just any snake, but a large white cobra with black marking all over her body. Hissing and slivering was one of the things that kept her happy, Carpathia couldn't remember what it was like to be noticed by anyone and was use to being alone. Nighttime was when Carpathia loved it but it often made her feel that she was still lonely and will always be alone. Carpathia tried to remember her parents but always remembered that her parents named her Carpathia, which to her meant 'Disowned' or 'Not Wanted'. 'So is this what it is like? To be a lonely snake and not loved by anyone even in the animal world?' Carpathia thought to herself as her legless body slid through the grass to the mud and need the water.

Not even paying attention, Carpathia almost missed the moonlight shining in the water and made her way to the tip of her tail. Slowly, the moon turned Carpathia back into a girl. She looked down at her body covered in mud and her long white hair that acted like a towel or blanket covered her up as she rinsed the mud of of her light brown-skin. Stand up, Carpathia turned and walked to the stump where the clothes were and started looking for hers, finally spoting her short purple and red dress, white stockings, fish-net gloves and black dress shoes; she put them on. The only things missing were her scruggies and dark purple headband, 'Oh joy, now where are they?' Carpathia asked herself as she searched for them until she came across the missing items but they were too dirty to use. Moving her hair, Carpathia sat away from Odette, Christian, Jake and Scarlett and waited for the rest of the human/animal creatures escape their animal forms. 'It's better to leave them alone and stay away from them. After all, they seem like they don't wish to be bothered with scum like me.' she thought to herself as she started to curl in a ball and stared blankingly at everyone with her purple eyes.

Jake continued to walk through the forest now wearing his usual clothing he always wore whenever he turned back into a human. He felt the light from the moon shine down onto his body as he didn't pay too much mind to it. It was the only thing that was keeping him normal like this. After walking a little more throughout he woods, he had finally come across the large lake from before as he kneeled down at the shore looking around the area. The swans that once swam around seemed to had disappeared. Strangely enough now, there seemed to be other humans in the water. Two females, and a male. Ever since that first day he went to this lake, only to be turned into the black cat, he had never returned back here. But now, after a few years; he returned in thinking that the swans would still be here and maybe they were the answer to this strangeness.

Looking around even more, he noticed a young girl sitting over nearby a tree stump; all alone. At first, the very thing that had caught his attention was the shocking thing that she was wearing the same clothing as the others in the lake and around it. This was getting even more and more strange than he had hoped for, but whatever the case; he wasn't here for an interview to figure out why they were wearing the same clothing. He needed to know how and why he was changed into this cat form everyday. So in hopes of getting some information, he approached the white haired girl sitting all by her self; afraid to even head back into the water. Thinking something else crazy would happen to his body. "Excuse me?...can y-..you help me?"

Odette smiled at Lucia and Vaughn. "Hello you two. Did you have a good time flying? Unfortunetly I can't but i'm sure flying must be exhilerating!" She said with a big smile. She looked towards Christian. "Hello." She said, then looked towards Carpathia. "Oh, hello to you too!" She said, then noticed the boy talking to her. "Welcome to Swan Lake." She said, turning and looking towards the forest. She had never been in the forest in fear that she wouldn't make it back to the lake in time, for if she missed even one moon on the lake she would forever be a swan. And as soon as she left the lake as a person she'd change into a swan forever. Odette's eyes were pulled towards Odile. She gave a small curtsy to the black swan and looked around, hoping Odile's father was not close by.

Shyla moved quickly threw the rocks that lead to the monster of a master she had been bound to. Her eyes on the evil ruby necklace around her neck that forced her to be his dear little pet and puppet. It had been seven years since she had been taken from her own land and brought to the monster Rothbart. Her long red hair danced in the slight wind that blew as if it was a raging fire as her eyes shifted to the sky and soon filled with sadness. The animals of the lake would soon take their true form and now it was her turn to take her alternate form. She looked to the necklace as a red aura came from the ruby then engulfed her as she closed her eyes knowing the pain and sadness that was to come for her.

Where the tall slim pal figure had once stood. In the strange clothing for the people of the lake and the kingdom, with the metal bracers and blood soaked sword. Stood a beautiful phoenix. She open her eyes as they glowed a brilliant glowing red as she open her fiery wings and let out a scream. The scream could be heard from miles around as her long whip like tail feather came out in front of her as she stood there on the rocks looking rather agitated. She illuminated the cliffs and the forest around it from her light as she stood there and waited for Rothbart. One day he would pay for this his head would be on her mantel and she would rip her powerful talons threw him. She would next dismember his repulsive daughter next and she would enjoy every scream the girl made as she did so after all the evil things they had both did to her and made her do.


Blood ran threw the forest as he chased the sent. He let out a growl as he ran knowing the perpetrator was near. He smelt the strange sicking smell all about the forest and hated having to let him go as he looked to the sky and saw the moon rising. He let out a growl as he shook his head then turned suddenly and headed back to the lake. He ran at full speed enjoying every moment of the power and grace he had as he ran. There was nothing like having the ground under the pads of his paws and his claws digging in slightly. He felt alive about then as if he was on the hunt again for some enemy that dared to harm the king or the princesses. It made him almost feel human again though that was short lived as the smell came back to his nostrils making him want to chase after the perpetrator again.

He kept on track heading back to the lake as his human self began to come back to him. Scarlet was there in that lake some where and it was time for them to shift. He couldn't chase after the man and leave her there. She would never forgive him and he wouldn't forgive himself if anything happen to her while he want on what would in most cases end up a wild goose chase. He busted threw the forest as he appeared only a few yards from the lake. He headed for the rocks where his old uniform and armor laid as well as his sword waiting for him as he shifted into his human form. He quickly clothed himself and put his armor on, then lastly placing his sword back by his side as he made his way to the stump where the beautiful Scarlet sat.

He smiled as he gave the woman a bow. "Good evening my dear lady. Ravishing as always." He said as he smiled up at her then looked to the princess as he saw the look on her face and saw the others shifting. "Some have not woken up on the right side today have they?" He said in more of a statement than a question as he looked back to Scarlet and smiled.

Lucia nodded at Odette and replied,"Air is a lovely way to travel but I prefer being human..." she turned to Vaughn and poked his shoulder,"What do you think?"

Vaughn sighed,"I don't really care for a raven body. Ravens are a damned creature." He looked up at the moons,"Doves are creatures of the heavens." Vaughn looked down. He went all the way out here to get a cure for Lucia and only ended up getting both of them cursed. But he wasn't ging to give up. THen he noticed the black swan...

Odile stared at Odette, wondering whether to confront her or not. Being in swan form isn't as effective as being a human. Glancing around she noticed the raven boy staring at her. She paddled her little swan feet in the water a little closer to the raven; who continued to stare at her.

Carpathia looked mindlessly into space until two two voices brought her back to Earth. It seemed that Odette had said something to her and Carpathia managed to respond with a soft voice, "H-H-Hi." she said then looked up to see a boy standing over her. Carpathia looked at him and blinked a few times before realizing that he had asked her a question. She opened her mouth and her soft voice gently pierced the air as she reponded to the question, "Wh-Wh-What i-is it that y-you need h-help w-with?" she asked looking at the boy. Carpathia was nervous, this was the first time that anyone had noticed she existed, let alone a boy. She stood up slowly and ironed out her dress and allowed her long white hair touch the ground and she looked at the boy with purple eyes.

Scarlett stood up and hugged Vandor, giving him a soft kiss on the cheek. "How was my knight in shining armor today?" She asked, wrapping her arms around him as she looked up at her knight. "You look so handsome in that armor.." She said, knowing he wore it all the time, thus he was always handsome. She looked over to Lucia and Vaughn. "Yes.. Doves are very beautiful creatures! And don't be down on yourself Vaughn, Ravens are amazing creatures. It's said that if you see one twice that someone close to you will die! I know that's quite gruesome..but I find it exciting." She said, giving a small smile. She looked back at Vandor, then towards Odile. " I feel bad for the poor girl. When everyone else is out and about she's trapped behind black feathers.." She whispered, taking Vandor's hand. "Would you like to go on a walk with me?" She asked softly.

When the white-haired girl had finally looked up and replied to Jake. He had noticed how her eyes weren't exactly a normal color for a human. His weren't any normal color as well, due to the fact that his colored eyes were purple as well; just that they were a lighter shade of it. Seeing how hers were a darker shade, he could pretty much tell that she wasn't a normal human. So just putting all the pieces together; how she was wearing the same clothing as the others at the lake were and her eyes being a different color than any normal human would be. It kind of gave it away that the fact, the others here at the lake weren't human as well. Maybe this meant, he could get a bit more information on how and why he had this problem of turning into an animal by the daytime. So when the female had asked her question, seemingly nervously at the sametime. Jake just tilted his head at her and nodded. "Can you explained this lake to me?..for some reason, during the day..I keep changing into some weird black cat..I don't want to. Is there some way to reverse this?" he asked, with his tone of voice sounding almost pleading.

Carpathia looked at the boy, his questions was a little confusing for her to answer. But her sight was by the fact that the boy's eyes. They were purple but lighter than hers, it was clear that he had been cursed as well and didn't even know it, she shook her head gently and responded to one questions at a time so that she can give the boy the information he wanted to know. "T-To answer you first que-question, this is Swan Lake, a paradise and hell for most of us. This lake is our only way to become human again before the daylight comes and turns us into back into animals. The reason you're turning into a black cat is because you have been cursed by Rothbart's spell which means you can't leave Swan Lake or you'll forever be a black cat." Carpathia said with a sort of sad look on her face then responded to his other question. "I-I-I'm sorry, b-but I d-don't know if th-there is a way. But the humans th-that are fo-forced to st-stay here are pr-praying there is." she managed to say before her fear started to take over her body slowly as she stared into the boy's eyes and held her arm.

Derek smiled as he got further into the forest and wondered where he was exactly. He knew that he wasn't going to get back home till morning but it would be nice to know where he was headed. Yet at the same time it was a thrill to know that he had no idea where he was. He was alone and if anything happened to him then he would have to deal with it. He was enjoyig this freedom and to be alone. He knew his mother wanted him to have someone but he hadn't found he right person het. He knew that he right one was out there he just didn't know where. After walking around for a while he thought he heard the sound of s small stream. If there was a stream then it ment hat here was a lake nearby. He smiled at the thought and started to look around for where it was.

Christian sighed as he saw more people come over and guessed that some where knew. They would get use to the normal thing of shifting every morning and nigt. He had gotten use to it and he was okay being a otter. He just sort of wished that he found that right person out there. Yet he was cursed to be here at this lake till that person came. He knew he had tomdeal wih it and he would.

As the young girl had answered each one of Jack's questions, he didn't seem rather affected by the name of the lake. He had already seen many swans here, the first time he had come to the lake. Though, the big thing that she caught him off guard was when she said that everyone that had the ability to change into animals, had to live here at the lake or else they would have to live the rest of their life basically as their animal form. That didn't sound too..good. So just giving a little sigh, Jake just went ahead and sat right onto the ground staring up to the night sky only, to see how the moon was shining perfectly still onto the lake itself. This place was rather peaceful and beautiful, but having to live here the rest of his life just to be able to look human for a certain amount of time; made it kind of difficult to choose whether it was better to wander around as a black cat forever or stay here and see if anyone could find a way to reverse this 'curse'. Though, when he looked over at the young girl once more, only to see how sad she was. Jake gave a little frown to follow along as he sighed quietly. There really was no point to him asking why she was sad since it was basically obvious. Who would or even could be happy to know that they had to stay near a lake for the rest of their lives just to be able to look human? "So wait..we have to stay here?..just to look human?..why don't we just beat that Rothbart guy? if we do, than wouldn't the spell be broken?" he asked multiple questions again, but most of them were directed all at one point.

Carpathia sat next to the boy, tucking her purple and red dress under her so she could sit down. She looked at the boy thinking that he was upset to the fact that he had to stay here with the others. Suddenly the boy had bombard her with a lot of questions. Carpathia's eyes widen as she tried to register the first question he asked, "Um, yes we have to stay just so that we can be human, like I said, if we leave before the moon hits the water then we will forever be an animal." Carpathia looked on the ground and answered his other question. "We can't just beat Rothbart up. He is a sorcorer and sorcorer always wins. I'm really sorry, please understand that the spell maybe able to be broken, but there is nothing we can do due to the fact that with we leave, there's no grantee that we will be human again." Carpthia said as she picked a nearby flower then gently placed it behind the boy's ear. "My name is Carpathia the white cobra of Swan Lake, may I ask for your name?" she asked adjusting the flower then removed her hand as a small smile came on her face, for the first time...someone was willingly to talk to her.

Von smiled and walked carelessly through the woods. His pale skinned gleamed even in the dim lighting of the trees. "Where be my little creatures?" he cooed in a melodic voice. His raven-black hair cascaded elegantly around his shoulders as he came out into the opening to the meadow. "Dear ones?" his voice seemed sweet, like syrup but anyone that knew him would certainly know that his voice could turn to shards of glass within an instant. "Stop hiding!" he roared, his eyes dialating wildly as he scanned the area. Loosing his patience was something Von did quite well. He let out a rather loud sigh and closed his eyes trying to collect himself. When he opened his eyes again he was smiling beautifully.

When the girl had repeated what she had said about how Jake would have to stay here before the moon's reflection touched the lake's water or else he would forever be an animal, he just continued to give a little frown as he looked down at the floor not even bothering to even scoot away from her. He didn't really care about the fact that she was sitting closer toward him than earlier, really; all he cared about was figuring out some way to stay human once again. Though, listening to her explain why they couldn't just beat up Rothbart and return back to normal; he clenched down onto his fists tightly until his eyes gave a quick flash of yellow from his feline-side popping out only for a moment. Jake was seriously disappointed in himself at this point; if he had only listened to his parents those many years ago, than he wouldn't had gone to the lake and this wouldn't had happened to him. "Dammit.." he whispered to himself, biting down onto his lower lip tightly; right before he was able to draw blood he had heard her introduce herself to him with her name and what type of animal she was behind this human form. So returning in favor of her introduction, he went on and introduced himself as well. "My name is Jake Takahashi. A black cat. I once lived in a small home near here." he spoke, right before another noise had caught his attention. Only to notice that it sounded as if someone was yelling. "what was that?" Jake asked with his eyes widened, looking around the area in curiosity.

Von scowled and looked about, everyone seemed to be in their human form. He said nothing to them. Only glared about with inhuman eyes. Silently his body began to twist and turn into his raven form, he being the great sorcerer that he was could change his form at will whether it be day or night. It mattered not to him. He circled the lake a few times making sure everyone was there. He didn't need anyone being foolish and frolicking to far from his home. With a loud caw he landed on a rock on the edge of the water and transitioned back to his human self. He stood there, the black smoke of his transition billowed out around him and faded into nothing. "How are we all tonight?" he grinned wickedly. He was fully clothed of course being a sorcerer he didn't need to bother himself with changing clothes whenever he had the notion to change forms.
