Have you ever heard of OZ? Have you ever heard of the land of IX? The land of IX is an exact replica of OZ. The trees can talk and the walls have eyes. There's only one problem with IX; unlike OZ, once you enter, not even magic shoes can get you out of it. When 10 people end up in IX, on a complete accident. Will they ever get out?

Especially since my Gramma Hattie lives in Pheonix, which is absolutely filled with huge bugs. I don't think I'll be able to get through this without a huge container of pills and a portable t.v!

Audrianna Spice sat in her seat wearily trying to calm herself down. She'd been skeptical about going to see her Gramma Hattie. Why couldn't she just take a train? She closed her eyes and kept humming the corus to Notorious B.I.G.'s Big Poppa. It always calmed her down, but right now it wasn't working. She switched to Biggy's Hypnotize and took one of the sleeping pills she'd smuggled onto the plane. She looked around. 'At least I got the window seat.' She thought in her mind. The older woman next to her was snoring peacefully while sitting up straight. She leaned her head onto the cold window and hoped that maybe time could speed up and she'd be in Pheonix within the next few minutes. She wished she hadn't forgotten the spell that could make that possible, although she did forget everything so it was bound to happen some time or another. She felt the beginning of a headache. Her head throbbed. She rubbed her temples and frowned. She'd thought about the song in her head too hard and now the chorus was stuck on a loop. "Uggggghhhhh." she groaned.
Stephen McKenzie crossed his legs and tried to get comfortable in the stiff plane seats. He'd unluckily gotten the middle seat, and he had a senile old man sitting on the side closest to window, and a little girl sitting on the other. The girl's family were in the parallel set of seats, and they were talking quite loudly too her. Stephen gritted his teeth, and searched his pockets for his ipod. Once found, he quickly put the earphones in his ears and turned the volume up, blocking out the rest of the plane. He once again tried to settle into the chair, but when the girl next to him spilt her snacks all over him and the senile old man, he gave up. Even over his loud music, he could hear the old man going off, yelling at Stephen's ear rather then the girl, and the family counter yelling. After a few seconds, an air hostess came to split up the fight, which added to the noise. Stephen furrowed his brows, and jammed his eyes shut, hoping that the plane would get quieter, so that he would feel like he was actually on holidays.

Kris sat in her seat next to the window and looked at her seat mates. She was trapped in the area she was in by a rather large woman and her just as large husband. "Great, I'm trapped." she muttered this under her breath. She felt a slight kicking and looked behind her. She saw a eight year old boy, kicking her seat. She sighed rather loudly and faced the right way once more. She pulled out her iPod and fished out a pair of headphones. She connected the headphones and then put the headphones in her ears and began to listen. She continued looking out the window, trying to ignore the kicking that the little boy was doing. She then realized how annoying children were at that age. After about three minutes the little boy stopped kicking and Kris finally began to relax. She hadn't liked how this plane ride was going but she liked airplane rides and she decided to suck it up and say she loved it so far.
Finx sighed as pulled her hood up over her head as wind whistled past her. She hated the cold but with no car and her mom being a jerk she was walking to her friends house in what felt like no degrees she was luck to have grown up in cold weather she might not like it but 30 degrees with wind was mild to her well to others like florida people couldn't handle it.
As the stewardess pushed the beverage cart down the isle Lily fished out the ten she had swiped from the men in the front of the plane who had taken forever to put his carry on in the over head compartment.Normally she avoided stealing on her annual trip to visit her last living relative but the guy had been asking for it. Taking up the whole isle and the bill was practically hanging out of his jeans pocket.Waving down the blond stewardess Lily smiled as she ordered a sprite paying with the stolen ten. It was rare that she stole money, mainly she had more fun swiping wallets and then putting them back with out the owner being any the wiser.
Andy sent one final text out to his friend before the pilots voice informed the passengers that they would be taking off soon and to turn off all cellular devices. It had been some time since he had been out to Texas to visit Nathan. With both of them starting college in the fall it looked like this would be the last time either would see the other from some time.Pulling out the book he had brought with him to read along the flight Andy made sure his seat belt was tightened before putting on his head phones to block out the noise from the rest of the plane. This was his first time flying and though he had read over the statistics there was still a nervous feeling in his stomach that his couldn't shake. His mother had reassured him that it was a first time flyer thing and by the time her was flying home he would be over it.
Audrianna lifted her head from the window. The vibrations the plane engine were giving the window a sensation that tickled her nose too much. She bit her lip then looked around. There were alot of people on this flight. She wished she would've bought first class. She felt an idea pop into her head, then she sat up and stepped past the old lady. She inched her way to the bathroom, dodging bags and legs that were in the isle. She walked into the bathroom, closed the door behind her, and rubbed her hands together in excitement. "Alright, ummmm..." she said to herself, trying to remember the invisibility spell she'd learned back in the 7th grade. "Oh!" she said when she remembered it. She cleared her throat and began. "Ghosts give people cringing fear, so I'd like to be translucent and clear." she said, then she pointed her finger upwards toward her head. Within seconds, her body was invisible. She walked right past the stewardess and then she opened the curtain that separated first class from coach. The guard looked bewildered that the curtain had moved all the way open by itself on the still-aired plane. Audrianna plopped herself down in a booth and laughed, causing the person behind her into looking over her seat to see what had done that. Audrianna sat and stretched her legs out, until she felt a big bump. It was as if someone had hit her seat into the air with a huge hammer. She screamed and listened as the pilot announced that they should put on the air masks that had dropped from the ceiling. She quickly strapped hers on and waited for further instruction.
Kris looked at the two people by her and decided to speak up. "Um, excuse me but would mind shutting the hell up once in awhile?" she hated being mean but those people just wouldn't be quiet! She then looked back out the window and felt something clunck against her head and looked up. She saw the airmask and heard the pilots instructions. She put the mask in her face and breathed it in. "What's happening?" Kris wondered this out loud. She waited for further instructions from the pilot. .
Rashten tried to peer through the blizzard from behind the windshield. Just two minutes ago it had been completely clear and sunny. Now he could swear that the ground was covered in at least six inches of snow. "Stupid weathermen and their lies," he mumbled. He then felt a hand on his and heard "It is ok Rashten. We can get to the house and have some nice, hot tea. And I still have a nice roast that can be heated." He smiled and looked to his right for a brief moment and said "I love you Creepool." And so as they kept going the storm seemed to get worse and soon the decided they would pull over at the next exit to stay in a hotel. As they saw a sign for an exit a truck decided to stop in front of them. As Rashten tried to brake the van swerved to the right and crashed into a tree. They both lost consciousness.
The little girl, had no idea what was happening, or what she should do with the airmask, so instead she had brought herself to flinging it around, hitting Stephen in his upper body most of the time. Her family was calmly trying to ell her to put it on, but she wasn't listening. Stephen had already put his on, and from the corner of his eye he could see the old man mumbling strange words against the airmask. The girl's airmask wacked Stephen in the face and he jumped a little. Sick of it, he grabbed the girl roughly and shoved her mask on. After he released her she started to cry. Stephen groaned loudly, this aeroplane tripped sucked.

Another announcement sounded, this one informing the passengers that they were about to experience another bump, one bigger than the last. Sure enough, there was a bump that jerked Audrianna forward in her seat and sent her flying into the one in front of her. She watched a tray and some food fall onto the floor and a few dishes roll down the isle. She sat on the floor, still invisible, and held her head to her knees. The captain was now announcing that they'd have to crash land on the nearest piece of land. Audrianna began crying hysterically along with a few of the other passengers on the plane. All of a sudden, it was silent again, as if the sound that the motor had been making had been muted. The plane had stopped shaking, and the dishes on the floor stopped shaking and vibrating. She stood, looking around now, and was bewildered at what she saw. The man who had been on his hands and knees and just a moment before was sitting in his seat reading the paper again. There were no dishes on the ground, no trays, and the man behind her was sound asleep. The stuardess was coming around with meals, as if nothing had happened. Audrianna looked out of the window, shocked at what she saw.
The bump made Stephen hit his head on the seat in front of him, and the senile old man next to him even angrier. He rubbed his head gingerly, and was surprised when he realised he felt no pain. He sat up straight and looked around. No airmasks to be seen, and no-one seemed worry about the fact they were about to crash land. Stephen frowned, a little confused. After one more look around he determined that he was merely dreaming, and relaxed back into the seat again.

Finx could hardly see threw the snow but as a new englander she was use to such weather and it didn't bother her until she couldn't see in front of her face with a curse she made her way into a store and stood there glaring out the door. "Strange weather isn't it?" the man at the counter said. "Not really just a blizzard." finx said shaking her hair out. "they didn't predict it though." "do they ever get weather right around here?" the man laughed at that and turned to help a customer.
Kris heard the announcement and felt the bump. She almost hit the window but caught herself. A moment later there were no airmasks, and the people sitting aroun her were eating once more. She blinked slightly then realized that the whole plane crashing thing was a part of a dream she was having from falling asleep from her music. She shrugged off a weird feeling that told her as if it hadn't been a dream and had been real. But who was she not to listen to her head instead of her gut? Obviously, she didn't care and at the moment had no fears that she would have to face.
Audrianna could see that all that was outside of her window were pink clouds. They looked fluffy and there were wight specs on them that made them look like they could possibly be cotton candy. She looked around, seeing everyone still in their comfortable state. The pilot announced that they were about to land. Audrianna looked out her window again, noticing that the sky wasn't just one colour, but actually five different ones. And there was snow falling, but instead of white, it was as red as blood. Slowly, the plane landed, and there was one last small bump. The pilot announced they had landed, and told them were to pick up their bags and other luggage. Audrianna walked off of the plane and looked at her surroundings. She definitely wasn't in Phoenix. It wasn't hot enough to be Phoenix. Actually, she couldn't see the Sun at all. It wasn't very cold, though, either. The red snow that fell onto her body wasn't icy, but it was actually a little warm. She walked into the airport and went straight to the bathroom so she could become visible again and then find someone to ask about her surroundings.
Stephen waited for pretty much everyone to pass before getting up himself to collect his gear in the over-head lockers. Once collected, he made his way of the plane so he could find the bulk of his suitcases. He was quite surprised though when he stepped outside, enough that he dropped his ipod and barely caught before it fell completely. There were red things just randomly falling from the sky. Were they rose petals? He shifted his stuff around so he could carry it more easily, and tried not to look around, in case he had really landed in some weirdos city.

Kris gathered her things quite loudly. She finally got off the plane and looked out a window in the airport. She saw the red snowflakes and felt puzzled. Were they special effects or something weirder? She was honestly curious. She adjusted her luggage and sat down in a nearby chair that the airport had. She then realized she was hungry and headed for the food court. After getting some food she sat back down in a seat, far away from the court.
Finx frowned at them red petals and looked around not reconizing were she was she had just left the store cause they were closed she couldn't be that far away from it. So she turned around at headed back the way she had come.
Audrianna funally found someone who was selling faux fur scarves and hats. "'Scuse me... do you know if this is Phoe-""Hats! Would you like to buy a hat, young lady?" he said, cutting her off. Audrianna sighed angrily and put her right hand on her hip. "NO. But anyways, is this Phoenix? I'm wonderin' because I'm suppose-" "No, this ain't Phoenix. This is IX." he said, cutting her off again. "IX? What's IX? Is that the name of the airpor-" "This is the world of IX. That's where-" "Lookie here. Cut me off again you finta get cut. I'm askin' what is IX. You said this is IX. What is IX? Is that the city I'm in?" she said angrily. The man frowned and sighed. "As I was saying, this is a world. A planet, if you will. The plane you came here on was sent to IX. If you were to be in Phoenix, well, then, you're screwed. Ain't no planes comin' back to IX for about maybe... 1,000 more years." he said, finally looking her in the eye. Audrianna laughed. "Okay, mister, I get it. You don't like me 'cause I said I'd cut you. Please, though, tell me the truth. Is this Pheonix, or not?" she said, slightly annoyed. "I may be a scammer, but I ain't lyin' to you. Ask any of these other street vendors. We been here longest and we all know the truth. Everybody else is unsure of this place, but not us. We waas 'round when IX was formed." he said, sounding proud. "And when was that?" Audrianna asked. "Back in 2." he said. "2 what? 2000 and 10? 1922? When?" she said, balling her fists. "The year! 2! 0 and 2! The year of 2." he said, causing Audrianna to lift her brows and find someone else to ask.
Kris saw a airport attendant and walked over to the lady. "Um, excuse me ma'am? Uh, is this Orlando?" "No. Im sorry." "Then what is this place?" "Why, its the Land of IX." "Um, thanks i guess." Kris walked off feeling pissed. Obviously the lady was a escaped psychiatric patient or something like that. "What the hell is IX?" Kris muttered this under her breath while returning to her stuff. She looked through her bag and pulled out her phone. She tried calling her mother but there was no signal. She had a Verizon Wireless phone though. A lot of people have the brand so there must be towers. She felt puzzled and looked around at all the people who seemed to know where they were. She walked up o an older man and smiled. "Hello sir. Um, I was just wondering, what city is this?" The old man laughed. "City? Why, child this is the Land of IX!" The man smiled and then continued walking. Kris looked bewildered. She walked back to her luggage an sat back down.
Stephen kept an eye for screens saying the flight table. But he couldn't find any. Frowning, he looked at his watch, it was moving sluggishly, even though it was brand new. Stephen growled and tried to find someone who could help. He saw someone else who was looking confused ask an Airport Attendant something, and then a group of people. She still looked confused after that, and went to sit down near some luggage. Stephen walked up to her, keeping his luggage very close behind him.
"You wouldn't happen to know where we are?" He asked her, bringing his luggage to a halt.
Kris looked up to the guy before her. "I wish! Everybody keeps telling me it's 'IX'." Kris shrugged. "Where ver this place is, I can't get a signal so it's kinda hard for me to call anyone." Kris frowned lightly. "Sorry." she sighed softly and treks thinking of another way to ask more people. She felt stumped and useless. So she leaned back in her chair and decided to give up on the whole IX situation. She put her phone away, along with her iPod and zipped the suitcase shut.
Stephen stood there. Unsure of what to do. He sat down on his larger suitcase, and decided he'd try to make the girl an ally. "My name's Stephen" He said carefully. "I was supposed to be catching a connecting flight. What about you?" He tried to get as comfortable on the suitcase as he could, still holding all his possessions near.
Kris look at him. "Um, same here. But I guess I'm not anymore." She shrugged lightly. "I'm Kris, nice to meet you." Kris smiled warmly towards Stephen. "You know you dont have to sit here and talk to me right?" She didn't exactly know why he stayed around to talk to her. Especially since he didn't seem like he wanted to stick around and talk. But she could use someone to talk to during this whole IX situation. "He doesn't seem to fond to be talking to someone...." She thought this sentence to herself.
