Odette looked to the ground in disgust, Von Rothbart. "As best as I can be on this lake." She said, rolling her eyes at him. She hoped he would not ask her to marry him again, for he usually did every night. And every night she replied no because he repulsed her. She ran her hands down the sides of her dress, getting all the dirt off of it and then giving a small yawn. She looked around the lake, hoping to speak with someone she knew. Her eyes drifted towards Lucia and Vaughn, then Scarlett and Vandor. What cute couples they were! If only she could find that kind of happiness.

Carpathia looked at Jake as the small smile grew a little wider. She was happy that he was talking to her. Carpathia looked at Jake and seen that he was becoming more and more unhappy about the information. Carpathia gently hugged him then heard him introdued himself. "Pleased to meet you Jake." she said looking at him then quickly sit u fearing that she was making Jake feel uncomfortable. Suddenly hearing a loud yell, Carpathia whipped her head towards the direction and sees Rothbart. Carpathia starts shaking and she looks at the ground afraid to answer Jake's question "I-I-It's Rothbart." Carpathia said shaking more and didn't look up, causing her hair to fall at her sides.

All of a sudden, when Carpathia had given Jake the gentle hug; his own eyes just widened up a bit as he turned his head over to look at her in shock on why she would hug him. At first, he hadn't really noticed how sad he was already; but as he felt the warmth of her hugging him, he simply just than realized it as he frowned a bit more. She seemed rather happy about something at first as well, but about what; Jake had no idea. Although that smile didn't last for long either as she seemed rather shocked as well when she heard the yell. Though, when she looked at who made the yell and say it was Rothbart. Jake's mouth came gapping open as he turned his own head over to look toward the lake and see a man in dark clothing right there. Immediately, his own eyes turned a bright yellow as the black pupil in his eyes changed into sharp shard-like objects. "R-..Rothbart!! Change me back!" he demanded, running toward the lake; not even bothering to think of what the water might possibility do to him even after he was changed into a feline because of it. But without much thought, Jake charged into the water jumping onto the small rocks on the side of the shore til he got close enough toward Rothbart. Once there, Jake jumped toward him pulling a punch; in hopes that he would be able to at least convince him with violence to change himself along with the others back to normal.

Von laughed jumping up into the skies, he used his magic to hover for a moment before landing softly on his feet once more. "Poor little Kitten." he smiled softly and walked over to Odette, his sweet swan Princess. "Dear Princess, why do you shun me so? I've given you beautiful life, free of Royal matters...." he mock sighed in disappointment. "And you're ill treatment is the thanks I get?" he shrugged and looked about. "Jake, dear, dear feline." he shook his head in distaste. "Quit being so foolish."

All of a sudden, when Rothbart had jumped into the air and hovered there; Jake's eyes simply widened up in shock to see his attempt to hit him failed. Immediately falling forward to the other side of the rock, he went plunging into the lake; face first. With a loud splash to follow, Jake slowly wrapped his arms around the rock and helped himself onto the top of it. His entire body, was now drenched from the lake's water and his hair flat down. His bangs completely covered his forehead, but only some of it had covered his eyes; which were still completely bright yellow with the shard-like pupil. Jake just continued to glare at Rothbart as he noticed how he went over toward a young blond-haired woman, talking to her almost like he was flirting. Who she was, Jake had no idea, but in this case; it was more like it didn't even matter to him. Although, when Rothbart had suddenly began speaking with Jake once more; his eyes grew a bit more wide but still with pure anger in them. "Shut up Rothbart!! Just change me and everyone back! Why have you even done this to us?!" he demanded clenching his fists tightly while helping himself onto the rock.

Blood let out a soft growl as he turned hearing the voice of the smooth wicked man who had placed the awful curse on all the people around him. He stepped in front of Scarlet protectively as he glared at the wicked man ready to defend Odette and the others. He made a oath to protect the innocent and he would. If he ever got the chance he would have that man's head on a platter for display in the castle's main hall for all to see. "Be gone wicked Foul! Where are your other pets? Is it lonely being the most heated beast in the kingdom?" He said in a hateful voice as he stood there ready to rip the man apart.


Shyla let out a scream as she leaped into the air and open up her massive wings. The air around her became heated as she moved threw the air in a rage. She scanned the trees below her making sure at lest for now not to dare near them. She did not like causing fires and hurting others. At lest till she was summoned she could control herself in this form for a while. Though for a phoenix there was not much she could control. Whatever she dared to touch would die and turn to dust. A creator that could never die nor love for what could love a monster such as her.

The prince got deeper into the forest and wondered around for a little while longer. He wondered where he was even headed but he didn't really care. He was out hunting and wanted to bag something big, maybe a buck or something like that. Yet as he got deeper and deeper into the forest he thought he heard something. It sounded like voices but he wasn't to sure what it was. So slowly he made his way towards where he thought he heard the voices where coming from.

Christian growled when von came but stayed quiet. He wasn't much for conflict and just glared at him as he talked to the others but said nothing. He knew that he was stuck like this till the curse was broken and he wans't sure when it was going to be broken. he wanted to go back to his bakery and maybe find some love in his life. But he was just a simple otter now and probably no one would want him. He saw all the others with there loves but he had no one and no one missed him back home. So why did he want to change back?

Queen Uberta paced around in her castle, ordering around people. Ordering around people was always a good way to steam off stress. Uberta always felt that her son needed to settle down and not run around so much...and so here she was, preparing his birthday party. She frowned, yelling at the chef for messing up the frosting on his birthday cake. Uberta had gotten much crankier than she was before her husband died, leaving her in constant fear that her son would be single when she had passed away. All she wanted was a grandchild...how hard could that be?

Von laughed a light smile playing across his perfectly shaped mouth. "No one hates Von Rothbart my dear." he said as if it were true. "Now, go on. Get out of my sight before I grow angry with you." he rose and eyebrow to Jake's wet pathetic form. "You look so ridiculous." he turned as blood yelled at him. "And you know damn well not to shout at me like that." he instructed. His voice menacing.

Peter got off his horse, his hair fluttering about him in the breeze, His dark eyes scanning the forest. He loved the hunt. Unfortunately he wasnt accompanying his best friend, the prince on this fine day. No, he'd wandered off by himself in hopes of finding some gigantic game to bring back to the palace for a feast. So far he was unsuccessful. He frowned good-naturedly and walked further into the trees.

Carpathia watched as Jake tried to fight Rothbart but was defeated easily. She ran into the water and swam to Jake, looking around she found a log floating in the lake and used it to guide her way to help. "J-Jake, u-use this t-to swim back." she said putting the log in fromt of Jake as he held the rock. Carpathia was worried for him, she looked injured and the lake water might now help him completely. "W-We mu-must get back to shore, s-so we would get i-in to more trouble." she said waiting for Jake to grab the log.

Von switched his gaze now to Carpathia. "And what do you think you're doing." he bent down over jakes form and hoisted her somewhat gently onto the shore next to his feet. "I didn't give you permission to help this pathetic piece of trash, you know." he straightened his clothes haughtily. "I don't know why I even made Jake part of my kingdom." he helped Carpathia to her feet before brushing her hair from her eyes. "Now, why don't you go find something to do that doesn't involve this wet cat."

While leaning against the rock, Jake had been breathing a bit heavily while he glared at Rothbart. The man was no doubt about it, the one that made everyone here at the lake fall under the curse of having to turn into an animal by the day and human by night. Clenching his fists tightly, Jake was immediately distracted when he turned his head over from hearing a female's voice. When he had turned his head to see who it was; it had just so happen to be Carpathia came over with a log. "Carpathia.." he spoke in a quiet and almost whispering tone of voice, it was actually a little shocking to see someone try to help him; but taking his chance Jake was about to grab onto the log. All of a sudden right before his hand had touched the log, the voice of Rothbart came up as Jake looked right over at him in shock to see him take Carpathia away just so she couldn't help him. Giving a loud hiss toward Rothbart, Jake's claws slowly grew out as he scratched the rock making the sounds of someone's fingernails coming down a blackboard. "Damn you Rothbart!!" he screamed out in anger; even if it may had costed alot, Jake jumped right into the water and grabbed the log that was left by the rock and began to paddle back to shore as quickly as he could; even if it had meant he hated the water that much.

Von made a 'tsk tsk' noise. "Poor filthy little creature, whatever i saw in you to bestow my gift I will never know." with that said he turned on his heel and walked off towards his private castle that lay just beyond the lake. Not many knew of Rothbarts kingdom because he cloaked his castles and other properties with a magical shield, letting only he knew in.

Scarlett watched as Rothbart walked off and then hugged Vandor. "Come on darling, let's get away from all this." She said, kissing the side of his face and hugging him. She looked to Lucia and Vaughn. "Over by the tree stump theres some food that I found. It's not much but its decent." She said, sighing since all they had to eat was herbs, mushrooms, and tree bark. Scarlett aimlessly ran a hand through her dark hair and looked back at her love.

The prince continued to head out into the forest. He conitnued to hear voice and then finally he almost stumbled into a lake. He caught himself on a branch before he went splashing into the water and looked around. He soon saw some people at the one side of the lake and wondered what was going on. This place seemed like there where hardly anyone living here so why where they here. Slowly he made his way over and then saw a beautiful girl, "excuse me, mis. what are you all doing here?" he asked and hoped to get a answer.

Shyla landed on the top spiral of the wicked castle as she let out a scream. She scanned the skies as she perched on the top and enjoyed the view. Her eyes moved from branch to branch then from leaf to leaf as she sat there. Her eyes shifted to the direction where she knew the lake was as she stared at it looking at it as she shifted a little.


Vandor let out a growl as he glared at Robert. He looked to Scarlet as he smiled and kissed her head. He looked to her as he tried to calm down. "Yes love." He said as his eyes cut back to the man as he felt off. "One day we will be free of him and the king and princess will rule our land again. What more can he do to us?" He said under his breath as he thought about what Rothbart had said.

Odette looked away from all her fellow lake dwellers and was surprised by this strange man's appearance. She bit her lip. She couldn't tell this man why they were all there or else Rothbart would hurt him. "Um.. were having a party! Though i'm afraid it will be ending fairly soon.." She said, not wanting him to stay since Rothbart could come out any minute. She ran her hand through her blonde hair and looked down to her bare feet. She knew they didn't look dressed for a party since all of them only had one pair of clothes.

Carpathia's eyes widen when she felt herself being lifted out of the water and felt weightless until she saw Von. Her pupils started to shrinks as she stared into Von's eyes. They were scary to her and she didn't like it one bit. When he left, Carpathia ignored Von's order to leave Jake alone and went to go see if he was ok. "J-Ja-Jake, are you ok?" she asked kneeling beside him with worry in her purple eyes. Her floor-length white hair dangled at her sides as she searched for any injures. "Are you hurt anywhere?" Carpathia asked moving her white banged out of her face and tried to forget the fact that Von had touched her without her permission.

Before Rothbart had left the area, hearing him 'tsk' at him; Jake seemed to become even more angry. This man truly was too powerful for him and just like Carpathia had told him, trying to just 'beat him up' wasn't going to work out too well; but if that didn't work, what was he supposed to do to get rid of this damn curse. He truly hated to have to turn back into an animal during the day since it basically meant he could never feel the warmth of the sun ever touch his skin once more. Rather the sun would only be warming up his cat fur. Suddenly while he laid there on the shore of the lake, a female voice came back up as he tilted his head slightly to the side; only to notice that it was Carpathia again. His once angered expression quickly faded to a deep sad frown as he looked right back down to the floor once he noticed how worried she looked. "Y-..Yeah..I...I'm fine." he obviously lied, considering he was part feline now; the water that drenched all over his body made his blood much more colder than it already was with the cool night breeze going against him. He wasn't technically hurt anywhere on his body besides his own heart; emotion-wise. So to just reply to her second question he kept his head down and shook his head.

Rothbart made his way into the neighboring kingdoms, he smiled at the passing townspeople. As if he truly cared about what they thought of him. He was on his way to see The Queen. He didn't know if she was presently busy or not but figured he needed to come out of his seclusion of swan lake and mingle with the royals. he didn't need them becoming suspicious about him being gone so long,

The Queen was alerted by one of her faithful messengers that Von Rothbart was coming over to her Kingdom. She looked around at the decorations, making sure that they were perfectly perfect. "I guess I'll be seeing him soon then." Uberta called out to one of the maids to get snacks and tea ready for the unsuspected visitor.

Carpathia observed Jake's body and saw he was soaked to the bone and was a little cold. She opened her arms and engulfed him in a hug. She hoped that the hug could warm him up a little and make him feel better. "Please don't move, the move you move the colder you get." Carpathia said looking at Jake trying to not make him feel uncomfortable but it was true. Even though she was wet too, Carpathia tried to use her snake blood's heat to warm up the boy. "Do you feel better?" she asked looking down and refused to make eye contact with Jake.

All of a sudden, while Jake slowly sat up onto the shore, his entire body was still soaked from head to toe and his body still getting colder and colder from the night breeze. While he sat there, with the coldness coming across him; his entire body began to shiver as he bit down onto his tongue to try and take away the thought of how cold he was. That was soon taken away when his eyes widened up after feeling someone wrap their arms around him. Looking up slightly he noticed how it was Carpathia; she was hugging him and telling him not to move. It was rather shocking to see why she was helping him so much, even though they didn't even know each other. But just feeling her hugging him like this, it truly did make his body feel a bit more warmer as he noticed how her body was just as cold. Giving a little nod and staying silent he wrapped his own arms around Carpathia and hugged her back, returning the same warmth from his own body. "Th-..th..thank you.."

While Uberta spoke, Rothbart had been standing behind her silent. Waiting for her to turn around. When she didn't he smiled and put his hand on her waist. "Queen Uberta." he delicately spun her around and gave her a dazzling white smile. "How have you been??" he questioned, he let his face softened into what would appear as kindness and concern, he let his beautiful eyes smolder the queen a bit. Making her feel loved, and wanted.

Carpathia jumped a little as she felt Jake gently wrapped his arms around her and thanked her for helping. "Y-You're welcome." she said allowing the the heat to go to Jake's body then let it circulate through them. Carpathia smiled a little as she felt her eyes slowly close and started to curl up a little, "I-I-I'm sorry f-for th-this. I kn-know that this is probably uncomfortable b-but this was the only thing I could think of to help keep you warm." Carpathia said in a worried voice as she continued to hug Jake.
