Setting: The labyrinth of Shironlay

In the town of Shironlay there is the remains of a race now long dead, an underground structure called ’The Endless Labyrinth” by the occupants of Shironlay as no one has gotten to the bottom floor yet.... The inhabitants of this structure were an ancient people who gained life from the land and could not stand the sun, causing them to build massive underground structures as their cities. Only one of these structures can still be found, the one here in the large town of Shironlay. Magic was valued above all other things to this strange ancient race so their class or social status was decided by their magical abilities and they were allowed to live deeper the stronger magic they held, the weaker were forced to live higher where they could not breath as easily and would often get sick.

Using their magical powers they would place magical patterns on the walls and roofs to create light, though not many of these symbols still work so much of the labyrinth is dark, and water systems to make what looks like delicate rivers that wind in and out of the thick floors and walls. Within those rivers were, and are to this day, fish that was their main diet though they also raised some animals… those animals now have changed and grown over the eons to become frightful beasts that pray on any who dare enter.

Still, lying within this structural are many magical wonders, creatures, and treasures so adventures are lured to the town of Shironlay in droves… not that near as many come out. You see, the door closes and locks behind you, not allowing any escape even of a teleport spell. The only way out is to find the glowing blue ‘gate crystals’ which upon touching will teleport you to a large blue crystal in the Shironlay square. No one dares mess with the crystal tower in the town square, afraid to anger the ancient magic in the maze. It probably helps that sometimes the crystal seems too get bored and randomly teleport people into the maze if they stand too close…

Over generations monsters have not only evolved in the Labyrinth but others have moved in, attracted by the magic inside the labyrinth. It is a deadly place.. But rich in artifacts, power, and precious treasures of gold or silver coated in gemstones. Are you going to accept the challenge? Or are you forced into it? Will you survive?

OOC Note:
You may not make changes to the maze WITHOUT DISCUSSING IT WITH ME FIRST because it has an actual history and purpose and so on. This is simply to keep the maze the same for every player and to minimize confusion and make the rp the fairest it can be to all players. Thank you for your cooperation.

Quote:
~Hidden Cupcakes Characters~
Name: Laguelle
Gender: Male
Eyes: A golden color, the veins of which fade to a horrible black color the closer it gets to the lid.
Hair: Stringy and black, it falls to just below his ears and hangs loose over his head.
Skin: Extremely pale, almost deathly so. When in contact with an intense light, it looks almost gray.
Height: Approximately 5 foot 9 inches.
Build: Thin, yet muscular. He is very flexible, body conditioned and trained to move in odd directions and contort into painful looking shapes.
Clothing:He wears a striped, long sleeved shirt, the collar of which travels up his neck and hugs the base of his skull comfortably. The stripes are a scarlet color, while the base color of the shirt was a stark white. Over his shirt is a scarlet and gold checkered vest, loose fitting and short, the bottom ceasing in the middle of his chest. Beneath his shirt is a hidden layer of bronze chain mail, the only form of armor that seemed to cover him substantially. Atop his head is a floppy hat, a bell hanging off the tip. The hat is striped as well, holding the same color scheme as his shirt, though the stripes are considerably thicker. He wears plain brown pants, lightly reinforced to provide some padding for his knees, shins, and thighs. Covering his face is a mask cast in bronze, the face of which flat and covered with an unnatural, wide grin. The grin is merely an aesthetic appeal, being merely cut lightly in the metal to provide some protecting for the man's face. The left eye hole is covered over, the shape merely outlined instead of cut through, same as that sickly grin. His right eye is visible.
Scars: Laguelle's face is horribly scarred, the entire left half pulled back and ragged looking. What remains of his lips on that side is pulled painfully far, forming an unnatural half grin, stapled into place by bronze rings that dig in and nestle into his skull. His left eye socket is just a horrible black void, the eyelids having been torn and cut away. The scars travel down his neck and only slightly onto his chest, branching off in light waves, as if the scarring had traveled along his veins.
Weaponry: A twin pair of flails, the chains are long, far longer than the standard variety. They appear more as whips made from small, iron chain links supporting a heavy, though rather small (about the size of a standard glass bottle), cylinders covered in sharp, deadly looking iron spikes. The chains are about ten feet in length, allowing him to engage his foes at a distance as well as up close as the chains themselves are still rather heavy. The twin flails are looped on his belt when they are not in use. His boots, while leather in make, have been reinforced with bronze and iron inlays and small spikes, making his feet deadly weapons.

~So We Begin~

Gisa was a half demon whose power was strange, malleable, enough that she had two very different ways to use it. She mainly used a shape-shifting metallic mask made with her own blood to call the power of various beings or elements to herself, once they were collected into the mask. Perhaps it was this unusual battle style that interested the crystal, perhaps it was Gisa’s own desire to be stronger. It was impossible to say but she found herself teleported into the first floor of the labyrinth, the door not even bothering to open.

She had been researching the labyrinth so it wasn’t as much of a surprise as it could have been, she frowned however as she had been in her bed and was just dressed. In fact she had just placed the demonic silver mask on her belt when she’d seen the blue light coming in through the window of her rented room. She knew the first few levels were just supposed to house giant rats with a taste for human flesh but she would not walk in unarmed.

She lifted her mask and muttered a small spell with the name of a silver spirit that combined magic and metal well. As she placed the mask upon her face it began to shift with the spell as her clothing disappeared except for her gloves, boots, and underwear though they would become silver too and the heels would become flat. It covered half her face now and seemed more decorative and delicate but would cover the top of her head like a helmet. It had small silver swirls upon it, similar designs appear on the chain mail armor that was slowly covering her body. It looked like liquid metal pouring like tears from her head to her feet as it formed.

Weapons appeared in her hands as well, twin bladed fans. She had once preferred longer weapons but had learned through experience each armor knew what worked best with it. Still as long as she held dual wielding weapons she was happy, the exception being the bladed whip that always appeared on her hip. She usually didn’t use it to fight but for magic or movement as the blades allowed it to hook on things so she could swing over chasms and things.

Satisfied she was able to defend herself now without having to use her demonic powers directly she stepped out into the darkness, her strange gold eyes able to see fairly well even in the faint light. Some mushrooms glowed nearby, signaling a waterway. At least she could catch fish if she was hungry… though how they survived down here she never understood. She searched for any sign that someone had come in before her, or any enemies nearby.

She was ready.it had taken years of training, both mentally and physically, but it had all finally paid off.being the daughter of a well known monster hunter family was pressure enough, but being the only survivor of a vicious attack by one sneaky monster- well, that was grounds for revenge, even if she was weak.even if her heart couldn't take it.that monster had to die.the only problem now was getting in.that, and the monster she was looking for, was her father.standing in front of the blue crystal she had seen every day growing up, a sight she could see from her bedroom window, she had to admit that she was nervous.but that didn't matter.it was time, she knew, to go in and face the labyrinth, as no one in her family had done in centuries.closing her eyes, she held her hand out to the crystal, and a blue light filled her being.there, in front of a crowd of people, the crystal transported her to the first layer.she opened her pure white eyes, eyes that many mistook for blind, and smiled.her name was Gemini Rosemary Starr, and she was there to kill a monster.

Gisa's felt the magic stir and paused in her steps. She had been walking towards what looked like something shiny out of curiosity. She watched the place she had appeared to see if she was correct in thinking the magic was similar. As expected a woman appeared, a red head. She studied her a moment, inwardly noting anything significant and making small observations about how she moved and such. It was a habit of hers that she did with everyone really, it was nothing personal.

She said nothing, however, and made no move to approach the other woman. She wanted to see if the other woman could notice her... even as she sat there in the dark in silence. Still the soft light may glint off her armor and give her away... if she was looking. She wanted to know how observant the other woman was and how ready to fight. It was useful information when one was trapped in a maze together.

Gemini turned to take in her surroundings and noticed immediately that she was not alone.pulling a dagger from her boot, she faced the other woman, battle ready."show yourself.make no sudden movements, or you will be dead in seconds.are you human, or monster?" She demanded.one could never be too careful.even humans down in the labyrinth could be dangerous, seeing as they were trapped.people in her family had been entering the maze for ages, trying to eradicate the monsters, but none of them were ever seen again.she still didn't know what happened to them, weather they were still trapped or if they had died.needless to say, Gemini wasn't too keen on making friends down there.

"Neither really, though that depends on who you ask." came her answer from the darkness as she slid her fans into the holsters in each gauntlet. Her voice was cultured, warm, almost seductive by nature and held a bit of a European accent though it was impossible to tell specifically which kind as most of it had been lost through time. She sounded amused and there was a wry smile on her lips, but there was also the softest note of approval. Most of her vitals were covered by her chain mail armor so it would be difficult to 'kill her in seconds' even if she didn't lift a finger to stop the other woman.

Still, the other woman had shown herself brave at least, if a bit likely to underestimate her prey. While she was drawing her dagger from her boot it wouldn't have been difficult to slice her throat with either fan if Gisa had the mind to. Bravery, however, meant she'd watch over herself and make up for the other trait. The half demon didn't much feel like chasing after a scared little rabbit to protect it, despite the gentleness in her heart that she hid so well.

She made no move from where she leaned casually against the wall a few feet from the other woman. Her voice and the glint of her armor would make her easy to find if the girl looked. She watched the other woman, still curious. Her bravery could be a front after all, for fear. Gisa doubted it but the easiest way to find out was to let the other woman be uncertain for a moment. She had done nothing to scare her but she hadn't cooperated either. Besides... she was no one's servant and the chain she always wore on her wrist was there to remind her why, so obeyed no command.

(Since I don't have a picture, I'm gonna just plop this here...)

Laguelle hummed almost pointlessly in the dark corridors, walking about with as strange bounce in his step. Despite being sucked into an almost unending and perpetually dark labyrinth, the jester seemed quite chipper. Of course, there was never really a time where he wasn't singing and laughing. He had already encountered the rather rude denizens of this upper floor, their bodies having been left crushed and bloodied a ways behind him. He stopped his humming and his walking dead when the sound of voices hit his ears. He turned, grinning sickly beneath the mask and turning, making his way down a side passage, practically skipping down to meet the newcomers.

He stopped as he reached the chamber with the faintly glowing crystal, standing off to the side to watch the two women face off. Now, he didn't know why the one near the magic stone was holding the other at knife point, but if it did come to blows it would be an interesting show. Both had a strange air to them and it intrigued him to no end. His mask glinted dully in the faded light of the crystal. But he didn't mind. If he had wanted to hide, neither of them would have never known he was there.

((@cupcake XD he's exactly the same height as she is. ))

The half demon's senses were strong and so she caught the sounds of the humming man long before he reached their floor. She felt power from him but he seemed to have no interest save to watch once he reached them. She was curious about him, as she was curious about everything really. Still as she glanced towards him she didn't move from her point on the wall and watched the other woman out of the corner of her eye. She had little reason to fear her but there was a few places around her shoulder and lower face that were currently unarmored so she wasn't too interested in letting the girl do something to harm her.

"Hello there friend, Do you always like to watch young women in the dark? She joked mildly, her form as always relaxed. She was curious about his mask, it didn't seem to be there for armors sake judging by the rest of his body. No... it was a mask to hide behind. The Lady of Masks couldn't help but wonder what was beneath, such was her nature even when the mask was not a physical thing at all. She chuckled softly, these people were interesting so far at least.

(Oh geeze. Iiiiirony~)

Laguelle's grin faded at the comment, memories of dark rooms and quiet, peaceful bodies entering his mind. Being used as an assassin by his lords often led him to steal away lives in the dark. His grin returned full force though, a dark chuckle escaping his throat. "Oh...every now and then..." he said, beginning to fiddle idly with the chain of one of his flails, looped and holstered harmlessly on his belt. "They just...don't usually tend to scream long when they wake up."

His voice seemed to hold a constant state of jovial enthusiasm, as if everything he saw or did was a great big game or joke. And it was always hard to tell if he was joking or not, even by the most skilled or gifted of interrogators. The only ones who could ever tell were the Inquisition, a force obsessed with 'purity.' And even then it took their most skilled to see through his deceptive giggles.

((I decided to start putting long profiles in my blog because I always lose them and never use my blog for anything anyway xD. You can check out her detailed profile if you like, though it's spoiler full as far as who she is and everything xD hehe. It was all typed up before I saw your post too so it's a complete coincidence. I wanted her a little on the tall side but not so tall that she towered over even those of average height xD.))

"Too bad you are so hesitant... Are you going to play over there forever or come join us?" She responded with a lazy shrug, her tone not revealing if she was speaking of hesitating long enough someone screaming and understanding what he meant or if she was referring to his hesitant way of speaking. She watched him from behind her own half match, only her rose petal lips visible as they curled into a smile. She was not one to be afraid, that much was clear, or at least to admit. She would not be surprised to find him an assassin, she did not expect angels to be attracted to this place.

No... this was a place of power and a place of greed, filled with danger but also treasures and magic galore. It was not unusual to find gold or magical treasures in the lower levels, and even the top two use to have some before they were cleaned out by others. It was not a place for the pure of heart or the weak, it was a place of war and death and unimaginable treasure. True, sometimes the crystal tossed in innocents out of some strange cruelty but even those tended to have reason to want to be there. She herself had intended to come anyway, wishing to find secrets of her father's kind as she suspected there was demons involved here somewhere.

Of course they had learned long ago she could not be controlled and even to respect her enough she could get some from demon mouths.... but after her first brush with them when she was young she had decided she wanted nothing to do with them. She wanted to find out on her own, to travel in the world between and let the underworld to itself. She had no interest in it, just the secrets that would explain herself...

((edit: okay NOW you can view it Xd. ))

Laguelle chuckled, shaking his head lightly. "I would dear, but..." he said, a mild chuckle cutting him off lightly. "...but you two appeared to have started playing...without me. It would be rude to...interrupt, no?" He leaned against the wall, giggling and chuckling almost madly. But he soon quieted down, watching the two with an eerie curiosity. Oh no...the one with the mask was most definitely not normal. Strong willed, iron backed...this was a confident woman.

It was not possible for him to gauge the other just. She had yet to respond. But he had a feeling she'd be around the same. Confident, strong...difficult to break. But...that was not his job here, was it? His job was to find the key, sift through the ancient wreckage and find the Blighted key. The key an ancient enemy had used to lock away something powerful. Something that would spread a Blighted taint over this land. A taint that would cleanse the world of foolish 'purity' and make every creature equal in the Blight. All creatures alive and dead.

(Haha I was wondering about that. I'll head on over and check it out~)

"Not really anything to interrupt, she was just...introducing herself" Gisa remarked casually. She seemed to be treating it as no more then that, not offended really. This was such a place that such things were necessary and waiting until a monster revealed it's cunning face was suicide...at least at the lower levels. She had wondered why monsters grew stronger along with the magic and treasures greater when she first heard of it but had soon understood. The mysterious people who had built this place had an extremely strict cast system based on magic, as well as an adversity to the sun and the surface dwellers. So the less magic you had, the weaker you were, the closer to the surface you were forced to live.

It reminded her a little to much of the demons she had left behind and that just drew her here more. They reminded her of demons so much she knew some of the monsters here had to be demonic in nature. She also knew there were likely mainly evil ones, the maze having a habit of swallowing those who were truly evil, who were truly irredeemable. No one knew why, even her research had revealed nothing. She wished to find that secret too, enjoying the idea of the challenge. She always wanted to challenge herself more, push herself harder...

Laguelle blinked and tilted his head, humming lightly as he thought. Getting too close could be a bad idea. He could trust neither of them as their motives were unknown to him. But he shrugged, throwing his caution to the wind and approaching with a light bounce in his step. His hat jingled merrily as he approached, choosing to keep an equal distance between the two as he stopped, allowing himself to be fully immersed and revealed in the light.

The metal of his flails glittered cheerfully as the light danced across the deadly spikes of his boots. "Well then..." he chuckled, looking between the two. "I am...Laguelle...It is a pleasure...to meet the both of you." The could not tell, but his grin was wide and almost seemed sincere. But only the hollow smile of his mask greeted them, smiling eternally on the jester's scarred face.

((Well thanks alot for waiting for me.damn.))
Gemini did not relax her stance when the other woman spoke.she may look like an amateur, but if one looked closely they would find no weak spots in her defense, no chances to strike.her eyes were watchful, even in the dark that by all rights she shouldn't have bern able to see through.before she had a chance to respond to the woman, a jester like figure made his appearance.now, Gemini had never liked clowns, mimes or jesters.her view was that if you had to paint a smile on your face, you had something to hide.and this man definitely had something to hide.the other two spoke, and Gemini only listened for a moment.then the turned her blind looking eyes on the woman."don't speak for me.I had no intention of introducing myself, nor do I have any interest in 'playing' with either of you.I have my own business here, and I could care less about either of you." She said dismissively.

Zak Duchovny had resigned all hope long ago, exiled from his own homeland. Now he was a common adventurer, stripped of his royalty. His wandering had taken him to many exotic places, and Shironlay was just the next stop on his itinerary. He had heard of the dangerous maze, and had instantly set his mind on it. If anywhere could release his burden, this place would be it.

His armor was surprisingly quiet as he strode towards the town. Despite how heavy and bulky it was, Zak seemed to have little problem moving easily. He may not be as fast as others, but he was definitely more protected, and that's what he depended on. The armor shone bright white with golden lines drawing intricate designs, and was adorned with a large purple amethyst just below his neck, with two smaller ones on either side. It protected his entire body, no bit of skin showing aside from his chin up. An enormous broadsword laid across his back, held their by some sort of magic, as no sheath or strapping could be seen. The blade was wide, completely blunt on one side, and incredibly sharp on the other. The metal itself was a dark pink color, having spilled enough blood to have permanently stained it.

Zak was still a decent distance away from the town, his feet still landing on the outskirts. One minute he was walking casually, with every intent of resting his hand upon that crystal in the middle of the town, the next he was completely enveloped within a blue resonating light. He gave no reaction, other than to stop walking. The crystal had wanted him just as bad as he wanted it, apparently, and he was soon teleported in.

Zak was immediately aware of his surroundings, his bright orchid eyes cutting through the darkness with ease, one of his many indiscernible abilities. His hand reaches up and scratches the back of his head as he turns to regard each of the three other people in the room with him, his eyes searching them up and down one by one. After carefully studying each of them, a weak smile plays on his lips, its sincerity unable to be determined.

"Hi."

((For now Ignore all Gemini said about the maze/monsters .... she did not discuss them with me prior and they contradict the maze's history. Thee rest of her post is fine and of course should be responded to))

"I am Gisa, pleasure" She remarked to Laguelle in response with a small smile. As often was the case her smile seemed amused. The amusement faded slightly as she glanced towards the girl. The girl was trying to hard to play tough guy she thought with a roll of her eyes, and hadn't really understood her statement to boot. She had meant only that there was no fighting going on and the girl was introducing herself in a way that had nothing to do with a petty name but showing herself and her intentions. She had no intention of speaking for the girl...

"To tough to share a name girly? Oh well." She remarked casually, however, instead of correcting her. She watched everyone, finding them interesting simply for being people but this girl seemed to much of a hot head to really pay attention to more then a few surface words. She seemed unaware of the layers beneath, or perhaps she simply just didn't want to be. She shrugged and turned to look at what seemed to be a blank spot. It was not, however, as she could feel the shiver of magic that had precipitated the other woman's arrival. Someone new was joining their little party.

"Hi there stranger..." She responded with a curious tilt of her head. Such an awkward smile... the kind that tried unsuccessfully to hide a soul that felt little desire to smile. She studied him up and down a moment in thought. Clearly a warrior judging by his fancy armor, attractive too if tainted by sorrow. She tilted her head to the side to watch him a moment to see his reaction to the others. She absently wondered if he heard her introduction...

"A...pleasure, Gisa..." Laguelle said, a small chuckle in his voice. He turned to the other as she spoke, lifting an eyebrow. "Well...I'm sorry, but...there is really no need to be...rude," he said, chuckling under his breath. He turned to look away, eyeing teh darkness beyond their dome of light absently, humming lightly under his breath.

The crystal's burst of light caused him to turn, eyeing the armored newcomer with mild distrust. But his grin was still present, plastered to the horribly scarred face beneath the mask. "Hello there..." he said, lifting a hand and waving lightly. He was sure to shift slightly, moving his footing to keep a better eye on the three others. While he was sure he could hold his own against any of them, a surprise attack would be most unwelcome. He needed to be ready, just in case.

Apparently Zak had entered during an argument of some sort, catching their names as they introduced themselves, as well as the barbs aimed at the red haired one. His eyes didn't linger upon that one for long, her attitude alone had already caused him to lose interest.

Zak tilted his head in response to the blue haired one. His eyes squinted quizzically, trying to read her as she read him. With a disheartened shrug, he turns to regard the other male.

Zak's eyes rarely missed a thing, regardless of how insignificant. When Laguelle shifted his footing, Zaks gaze instantly darts to his feet, trying to discern whether the action was hostile or defensive, meanwhile the hand that was currently scratching the back of his head lowered itself closer to the hilt of his sword. Taking the action more cautionary than aggressive, Zaks hand falls from behind his head, stretching all five fingers out in a casual wave as it returns to his side.

So these were to be his companions in this place? Two attractive women and a clown..He guessed it could be worse. His face was blank, the weak smile disappearing from his lips as he once again turns his gaze to the blue haired one. With a small nod, he says her name aloud. "Gisa.". He shifts his head, his eyes falling upon the joker again, giving that same slight nod. "Laguelle."

His arm lifts from his side, and he jabs his thumb into his metal chestplate.

"King."

((Oh, I'm sorry, you didn't say anything when I said that her father was a monster, so I just, expounded on it.pm me?))
Gemini turned her white eyes on the newcomer, starting to get annoyed.how many people were going to interrupt? Her thoughts stopped in their tracks when she saw the man, though, and for a moment she was unable to think, let alone speak.when he introduced himself as King, she tilted her head slightly."King? You mean that is your name, or are you truly a king?" She asked politely, in case he really was a king.it was hard for her to focus, because the stranger was so bewitchingly handsome.but she saw that he didn't have much interest in her.

((already did sweety))

She watched the jester's defensive step absently, her eyes narrowing beneath her masked helm but said nothing. He seemed to distrust them all really. He hadn't been so nervous earlier, did he trust himself against two but not one? Or perhaps he merely underestimated women. It mattered little to her, but the fact he seemed to almost expect an attack... that she filled away as intriguing and a reason to watch him. Those who expected to be attacked at first sight often had good reason to be.

As Zak noticed this as well she couldn't help but feel a small amount of approval. No weaklings so far that she'd have to guard like sheep. It was her instinct really... to guard those weaker then her but it could also get her in trouble. She watched his hand reach for his weapon but didn't respond until he waved. She would return the same and watch that frail smile appear again. He simply looked so...defeated. Then he introduced his name and she nearly chuckled at the irony, a defeated king... She tilted her head to the side, what a name...

As the other woman asked him if it was really his name she couldn't help but glance at her. It was a smart enough question though rather naive to ask it. Still, being a little naive wasn't always a bad thing...especially in love. She could see the other girl was smitten by the look on her face. She couldn't blame her really, the man was handsome even if his defeated expression marred it so she felt only pity herself.

Laguelle blinked, tilting his head. "King? You're a...king?" he asked, tilting his head, licking his lips lightly. This was quite curious. Why would a king be down here? And why would he seem so sad? He snorted, trying depserately not to let the chuckle that was building up out. He couldn't hold it anymore at the sudden politeness from the once very rude woman, causing him to laugh, audibly and uncontrollably, the sound almost...sickening to listen to. It was almost wet, as if his throat was filling with blood at the action.

But that wasn't true. It was a horrid bile, something that was poisonous, black, and sticky. Blight. His laughing fit soon turned into coughing, lifting his hands to his throat and squeezing, hoping to keep the rush back. And he managed, swallowing it back and coughing wetly in between manic chuckles.

Suddenly Zak was the center of attention, though he kind of asked for it given the way he introduced himself. Having missed the initial confrontation, Zak found himself bewildered. Had he read the atmosphere incorrectly? The red haired woman didn't seem all that bad to him, maybe it was the other two who had attitudes then? Realizing that he had stayed silent, trapped in his own throughts, Zak gives a quick shake of his head, visibly bringing himself back to focus.

He begins to answer, only to be interrupted by the jester-like one repeating the same question. A puzzled look crosses his face for a moment, before returning to that blank stare, as the man starts to laugh at first. Gradually as the laughing becomes a sickening cough, rather than becoming concerned, Zak turns his head to Gisa, half expecting the same question to leave her lips. When her head tilts, Zak can read the amusement on her face. He liked this one, he could tell already. With another visible shake of his head, Zak opens his mouth to finally answer. His voice is just as defeated as his facial expression. Quiet and distant, almost bored, as if talking was too much effort.

"Does it matter?"

His intent was not to be rude, or mean spirited, and the sound in his voice would only accentuate that point. His entire demeanor came off as if someone had just killed his dog.

(Thanks for that one, staria :p))

Gemini took half a step towards the man, his tone sparking compassion in her normally stone cold heart."no...no, I suppose it doesn't matter.well, I'm...I'm Gemini.I think maybe we should all establish right now weather we intend to stick together or go our separate ways." She said, keeping one concerned eye on the jester."are you quite alright?" She asked him.with the way she seemed to look at people, none of them should guess that she was actually blind.and certainly- she hoped- they wouldn't guess that she had a weak heart and a monster for a father.
