The land has changed along with the balance of power. Humans and Monsters once lived side by side. However more powerful monsters arose disturbing the balance. This forced the human to form bonds with monster to try and work together to save the land, and their way of life together. However unknown to some a secret evil plots the down fall of man and beast alike. The last monster attack left the land barren of protectors. It caused the government to start recruiting at younger ages. Some have been proven to hold the ability to link with monsters making them partners and Knights of the land. The few dragons are being gathered to form a elite squad of dragon tamers. Dragons are the ultimate monster due to the fact of their different traits. The hope for the government is to raise the new Dragon Knights and return the balance to the land.

Anastasia (Anna)

Bio: Anna was raised by the dragons. Her family was one of the few humans allowed to live among the dragons. They acted as protectors and ambassadors for the mighty beast. Unlike most of the others Anna lost her memory of what happen the day the monsters attacked. She had been taken in by the government and trained as a secret weapon for them. However she didn't take well to the social interactions with other humans. She left in the middle of the night leaving without a trace heading back to her home.

No one had believed her when she told them the dragons cried her family was in trouble she had to leave. Till a year later when the government found the mountain that once housed the mighty beast. There was nothing left alive death was everywhere. Corpses lined the newly formed Vally made from the attack. A simple note was left hanging from government issues dog tags. It read as following: "If you found this, then you know I didn't lie. My home was endanger. I have left with the last dragon. I will search the land to find the other survivors. " That was the last message every received from Anna.

Anna since that time has traveled the land looking for clues who caused the attack, as well as find any other surviving dragons. She had taken it upon herself to protect the remaining dragons felling it was her duty to repay them for their kindness to her and her family.

Weapon: Samurai Katana ( Her sword is specially made. It is infused with magic and can only be wiled by someone pure of heart. Her sword is both light and fire at the same time making it one of a kind. The duel elements makes it the ideal weapon for any monster.)

Dragon:

Fang

at this stage is only a baby. At this stage he still relies on Anna for everything. He is the size of a small cat or dog. He tends to curl around her neck resting on her shoulders. At this age he has yet to master his flames.

Teen Years:

At this stage Fang can take care of himself for the most part. He is able to be Anna's equal in battle. He is able to accept the government tech that allows him and Anna to communicate through thoughts. His scales at this point are almost still soft and has to wear special armor to protect his soft scales. He has just mastered flight however at this stage he is unable to keep in flight for long. Fang at this stage still hasn't fully mastered his flamethrower. He can get a stream but he can't keep it for every long. At this stage he has only half the strength he will have as a adult dragon.

Adult dragon:

At this stage Fang is a force of nature. His scales are harder than diamonds, he no longer needs additional armor other than his own armor plating. Fang is able to destroy complete mountains if he so choose to at this stage. He can fly for hours and tires rarely at this stage. His entire body is a lethal weapon. By now he has mastered his flame and is the MVP of Anna and his team. His only weakness is Anna acting as her sword and shield. At this stage his entire purpose is to protect Anna and defender her to his death.

Convergence (Red Eye)

Bio: Convergence was made in one of the many government labs, after the monster attacks. He was born human however he was modify by the lab techs to make him a better weapon, against the monster threat at hand. Like all weapons (Officers) his training started at a young age. He has risen to be one of the top officers employed by the government. Thanks to his enhancements he is able to withstand most monsters.

Convergence has a score to settle with Anna after she vanished on him when they where younger. She had been the only competition for him. She had also promised to teach him how to link with dragons. However after some years he and the government have learned that only certain people are able to link with dragon viva the tech. It is even rarer to have a person that can link with any dragon. However upon testing it was found that Anna was the one in million that could link to any dragon and most other beast. Once she vanished the officers became meaner and forced Convergence to his breaking point. They forced him to link with Amadeus a dragon wolf hybrid.

The link between the two is strong however, the link causes Convergence to blackout at times due to the strain it puts on his body.

Weapon: Lighting Sword, Lighting Gun, and Lightning scythe

Power:Unlike most other humans, Convergence can manipulate fire and water. His enhancements allow him to heal fast and to use some elemental magic. His strongest element is Lighting like his beast.

Amadeus

Amadeus despite his size is blind. He relies fully on Convergence for his sight using their link to see what his partner sees. Because of their unique bond Amadeus stays with his partner every single moment of the day. The two are inseparable relying on each other for everything. Amadeus is very powerful, he can summon lighting from the sky as well as his body. He has immense speed making him very handy in battle. His thick armoring also ensures he can take a hit.

West Ocal

Bio: His family use to live right outside of a dragon’s nest. He uses to marvel at how big and strong they were. He remember sitting outside with his sister and watching as the dragons flew around and teaching the younger dragons. It was perfect and all perfect things have come to a end. The Dragons attack his village without warning. His mother had seen it happening and quickly shoved him and his sister down into the well of the village. That was the thing that saved them.

When they climbed out of the well they found the village to be completely destroyed. Everything was burned and you could never even figure out who was who with how charred the bodies were. After that they wondered for a while, penniless and filled with anger.

When he was 12 and his sister 10 the government took them in when they pleaded. For years he were trained and slowly they rose up in rank. They turned into some of the best officers they had to the point it scared some of the government officials. He was efficient, skilled, and filled with anger, something that wasn’t a good combination.

Weapons: Daggers and a sword (he has been trained in them and is most efficient and skilled with his daggers)

Dragon:

Dragon: Blue

Teen:

When they find Blue he is just a becoming a teen and doesn't like humans all that much. When it comes to humans it think that it is kill or destroy like the other creatures. But slowly it warms up to West.

Adult:

By now it is completely replying on west and trust him with its life. If something try to hurt west he will make them regret it before they even know what is happening.


Gaby Ocal

Bio: Just like her brother she watched as the dragons took out there home but instead of him she only felt emptiness. Everything was gone. She didn’t feel anger, only emptiness and a little bit of sadness was at the bottom. Yet as she traveled with her brother she knew that she couldn’t’ leave him. The anger would be his downfall.

It didn’t help that the government took them in. She watched as his anger grew and even though she felt emptiness she knew she didn’t have the right to take that away from him. If he lost his will to go on she was sure that she would not be able to go on. So she just watched over him, stopping him before he did anything stupid and keeping him safe. It was the only thing she could do, she couldn’t’ lose her only family left.

Weapons: Chains and a whip (she can’ restrain anything, but she mostly restrains her brother before he does something stupid, like killing a advisor)

Roseline (Thorn)

Bio: Thorn spent her life in and out of monster nest. She had been raised in a lab experimented on her whole life. By the age of four she killed her first man. At seven she killed her first monster. She had grown into the ultimate weapon giving her the code name Sword due to how quickly and effectively she killed. After her last raid on a nest she saw how weak humans were. She broke and went insane. She convinced her Partner (Shield ) to steal some of the linking tech and went into hiding. Shield and Sword were coda names giving the the Alpha pair of trained assassins.

The government was set back almost 30 years after their defection. Thorn had made sure she killed all officers except for the Omega pair. She leaf only the weakest members left. Shield had killed all the monsters that the government used. They left the government crippled and wondering why. Thron's goal is to use monster DNA to hybridize with humans, so humans will never again rely on monsters. Her goal is to make a supper race of humans that can survive any attack man or monster. She want to never see the things she saw the day she lost her entire platoon.

Bio: When he was little he was a fool thinking that he was doing good and letting them do what they did to him. They wanted to create something more powerful then ever before so instead of sticking to only mixing half and half to create, they used a new formula. Now when he turns he looks more beats then man and because of this they feared him. When they pared him up with Thorn he thought it was the greatest thing ever. He finally had the friend he had always wanted. But then they sent them to there deaths against those monsters. He nearly lost Thorn and he would have if he wasn't the Sheild. He protected her but he would never forgive them for nearly killing them. They were all weak, stupid, fools.

Once they decided to remake the humans he knew he had to destroy every last monster and he did. He strangled each one, pulled them apart and make the place look like it was a seal of there blood. Thorn took care of the rest. His goal is to make a world where there isn't weakness and no one has to sacrifice there life for others. He will help Thorn in every way and protect her till the end to make that goal a reality.

Anna fell to the ground her body exhausted from the last battle. She closed her eyes as she felt the cool water surround her body. She slowly open her eyes hearing the screams from her baby dragon. The dragon tugged at her trying to wake her, and move her to the river bank. However she just laid in the cool stream her body unable to move. Her body was covered in blood from the battle she had just won. She had killed a hydra that attacked the local village. Her little dragon had sensed the dangerous monster before any of the villagers. The meat would feed the village and the scales would make armor for them. Not everyone could afford the weapons and armor the government made. She stared to fade blacking out as she felt the gentle nuzzle of her dragon. She tried to fight slowly moving to the bank only able to hoist herself half way up it before succumbing to sleep.

The small dragon let out a small scream trying to wake Anna as she slept. The small dragon softly licked her face cleaning the bitter blood of her face. After a moment it retrieved the piece of hydra meat Anna had cut for it. It slowly ate it's meal keeping a eye out for Anna as she slept. Once it had finished it's meal it walked over to Anna curling around her shoulders. He laid there looking like a stuff animal as it kept it's watch from her shoulders keeping close to her body. Anna had over done it again to save the innocent people putting herself in danger again. The little dragon wasn't strong enough yet to defend her all it could do was act like a stuff animal till she woke again.


Red eye looked around the compound as he lessen to the president. It was the same story every time. Another attack a mysterious women had appeared and saved the day. Their own officers couldn't match the skill of the one mysterious female. This was the fifth time this month the woman (Anna) had stopped a attack. This time however she had been seen by the local villagers who told their local outpost of the girl. This story made Red eye uneasy as he lessen. Anna had never been so close to a village in the time they had tried to track her down. Something wasn't right with Anna she had to be injured to dare venture close to people. He stood there as he flashed back to a child meeting Anna. She wasn't like any other person he had ever met. She was more beast than human in her thinking she could understand monsters better than any. The only time she had let him touch her was when she took a direct hit to her chest the attack puncturing her chest wall. It was the only time she let the others help her and heal her. He had only seen her so close to other humans if she was injured.

This was becoming a slight problem she was out preforming them. He was more concerned with the fact she was saving their officers at her own risk. Several officers gave their reports and for some reason she was becoming more reckless. Anna had never been reckless this fact disturbed him more than any of the others. However she still wouldn't come home. He looked up as he heard the President. "Convergence, I have deiced to pair you with Gaby Ocal. She will be reporting to you momentarily. As for the reports on Anna I want you to investigate it personally. You are the only human left she ever interacted with. Bring her in will be dramatic you and Amadeus can give her comfort. I sent West Ocal Gaby's older brother to investigate the reports of the Hydra attack. If Anna is around he'll find her. I need you to keep a eye out for her. I doubt she'll let any officer near her. You are dismissed." Red eye saluted the man as he turned and left.

He held out his hand as he softly stroked his large friend. The beast just let out a low growl hearing the President talking inside the strange room. It was easy to see the beast felt the same way about the man as his master did. "Shh...It's ok Amadeus. I'm more worried about Anna. She never made mistakes or took chances. However she is starting to show signs of reckless behavior. Why has she started appearing now after so many years? So many questions so little answers. The Anna I knew would never be caught unless she wanted to be. However this Anna I'm seeing isn't the same Anna. Something is wrong with Anna I just know it. The only time she ever came close to a human was when she was injured. I think unknowingly she's trying to get help. " He said to the beast as he let out a breath as they moved froward. "Not our problem right now. Be good we are getting a new member to our party." He said as he showed his beast Gaby from the file he had seen. His beast simple nodded let his master know he heard him. The two slowly made their way to the main yard to wait for Gaby.

West marched his way towards the town and stopped not the hill that over looked it. A battle clearly took place here, one that defiantly was one he wished he could have taken part of. Fighting the officers back home wwas just pointless anymore. No one wanted to fight him, all to afraid of breaking a bone or losing a limb. Sighing to himself, he headed off as he headed into the village. Everything seemed cheerful though for a attack that just happened. Sniffing the air he smiled, it smelled of cooked meat and it made his stomach growl just slightly. Following the sent he found a man cooking on a grill and giving food out.

"sir, can you tell me what happened here?" he asked as he dug into his pocket and pulled out a note pat. "yessir I can, what happen was a hydra cam and was about to destroy everything. That was till a girl cam out a nowhere. She beat him like it was no than." he said and West sighed as he took it down or at least tried too. It was clear that either he couldn't' talk right or was missing a few teeth. "and where did this girl go?" he asked as he put away the notepad. He figured they oudl want to investigate the girl as well, maybe get to question her or something. "she headed that way." he said as he pointed towards a stream. He then held out a steak, "eat though, celebrate life." he said happily and that was when West smelled the alcohol on his breath. Taking it, he nodded at the man before heading out of there.

Walking down the street he bit into the steak and smiled. It was rare, just the way his liked it. Bitting it again, he started sucking out the juice when he saw something. It was a body laying in the river and he wondered if it was from the attack. Yet as he drew closer she wasn't shared or bitten in half, she was whole and breathing. Shoving the steak into his mouth he headed over, "miss, miss, are you okay?" he asked as he got closer. Though when he saw the doll dragon he growled and quickly batted it away. "filthy creature." he muttered to himself before taking the girl into his arms, "miss can you hear me? I am officer Ocal, I am here to help." he said as he studied her, noticing the wounds on her. Quickly he moved, taking out the bandages that they had forced him to bring just incase and started patching her up, hoping she wasn't dead just yet.

Gaby sat in the main yard as she waited. She was stalk still and it was kind of creepy as she stared at the same stop in the room, the door. She looked and acted like a doll. It was one of the reasons why everyone thought she was kind of creepy. She showed nothing, no emotion and if she did it was only when her brother was around. Her brother could bring her to smile or move. But that was only during extreme cases, in truth she protected them from her brother. If he was able to fight all out he would kill everyone here and nearly had till Gaby had restrained him. She was his keeper in a sense.

Hearing footsteps she watched as a man and creature walked into her room. Only once they grew closer did she finally move. It was like watching a rock was coming to life. Walking over to him, she stood in front of him and looked up, "Gaby Ocal reporting for duty." she said as if she had said that kind of thing over and over again. She then stood there, not saying anything else and just looked at him, waiting. With how quiet and still she was at times it was easy to see why no one wanted to be partners with her, she was creepy. It was like she was completely hollow inside and in a way she was. After seeing her village destroyed she drew away from her emotions due to the shock, all that was left was a hollow shell of a person who only cared about keeping her brother safe.

Fang

Fang didn't make a sound as the man swatted him away. He knew Anna needed help he couldn't give her. He waited till the man was busy and crawled into Anna's bag making sure it was beside the man before doing so. He wasn't going to be left behind and Anna had to have her bag. He kept quiet as he waited to see what the man would do. He peered out from the safety of the bag as he watched the strange man with Anna. He could tell the man wasn't evil. However he could tell the man didn't care for him. The feeling was mutual as fang sat there in the bag. If he was larger he would have threw him into the village for daring to smack him around. He knew if Anna was able the man would have met her blade in a instant for daring to smack him. However Anna wasn't waking and he smelt something foul coming from one of her wounds.

The smell made him worry as he moved from the bag hissing at the wound. He tried to remove the bandage finally ripping through it as the foul smell became stronger. The smell made Fang growl loudly as he looked to the Man and then back to the wound. Something was wrong with the wound. He looked around as he he ran to the bank and came back with a hydra scale placing it in front of the man. The foul smell smelt like the hydra something had happen in battle. Fang hadn't seen anything but apparently his Anna had took a attack for him. He was always find trouble for her. He curled up around her neck again as he cried softly and made soft noise like a baby to it's mother. He tried to wake Anna softly calling to her. He tried to nuzzled her again and looked worried as her face turned red she became hot. Fang let out a screech as he looked to the Man letting out a low growl. The man was suppose to help her not make her worse.

Red Eye

Red Eye looked to Gaby as he souled her. He noticed she was lacking emotion however he enjoyed the quiet she brought. He pulled out the rap sheet on Anna as he handed it to her. " Our mission is to bring her in. The president is tired of Anna roaming. I saw your own rap sheet impressive. However how did they talk you away from your brother? He is a handful to say the least. " He said without thinking as he started walking, his own beast fallowing him. He walked to the lab as he pulled up the screen looking at the area around the attack. "How did the hydra get to that village. It had to dropped there but by who and why." He said as he stared at the map. It made no sense for a hydra to be so far inland.

THORN

Thorn held her side as she felt the hydra die. She cursed as she saw the women that had defeated her pet. She slowly made her way to where Poe was. She smiled as he slept softly playing in his hair watching him sleep. He was her best friend and in all honesty the only family and person she had. She gently pulled the blanket up around him as she leaned down making sure he was still breathing. It was a habit she had acquired after the attack. Ever since that day she had guarded Poe like a protective lover/mother. She let out a breath happy he was still with her. She smiled watching him sleep as she took refuge for a while in their hidden layer. She closed her eyes for a moment allowing herself a moment of peace with him. He was the one person she felt safe with. She saw the monster again that had killed everyone as she closed her eyes . Her eyes flashed open as she went on guard again as Poe slept making sure he was safe. She knew here in their layer they were safe. There was nothing beast or man that could help them. But old habits die hard.

West

West was working to make sure that she was patched up till he heard the unmistakable sound that he had come to hate. Seeing the little dragon that he had seated before he was about to strangle it till he watched it rip apart the bandages, "you have just given me another reason as to why I should kill you." he said and was about to grab him till he smelled the stench coming form her wound. Closing his eyes he tried to remember where he had smelled that before, it was bitter like burned food and almost as if it was mixed with rotten eggs. When he opened his eyes he saw the little pest had brought him a scale from the hydra and found the same smell coming form it. Poison.

He was about to go back to work when the little dragon hissed at him. Glaring at him, he quickly grabbed it, "move it." and with that he threw him away without a seconds thought. He then leaned down to the wound and sighed, "guess I get to taste poison." he said and pressed his lips to it before sucking. MOst would never dream of sucking hydra blood but he had learned it was better then doing nothing. As he pulled back and spit out poison he found himself turning the ground black with it and smirked, "guess they wanted her dead or at least someone to die." he muttered to himself as he continued to suck. After doing this a free times he found the wound didn't smell at all and went back to wrapping it. Leaning back he sighed and then glared at where he had tossed the dragon, "if you come back over here I am skinning you, got that." he hissed as he glared at him. Already he had a dagger out and was ready for him. He then stood up and took the girl into his arm, "now I will be taking her, she needs more help then I can give." he said and started to walk towards the base.

Gaby

Gaby nodded as she listened to him and looked over the mission papers, "I agree to the mission." she said as she started to follow him, "they ordered me to let him go or else they would premaritally have him on house arrested." her voice was still blank but if you looked at her carefully you saw the bit of sadness at not having her brother close by. Normally she would ignore orders but she knew if she did this time her brother would be unhappy and possibly destroy the base. If it kept her brother safe and happy she would do what they said. Following him to the room, she looked at the screen and watched as the information flew across it, "it is clear that it was dropped, probably to cause distress and clear off the village. Do we know of anyone who hates that village." she said as she started to look through the data hoping to find something.

Poe

Poe sighed in his sleep as he felt Thorn close by. Knowing that she was close was the one thing that kept the dreams from coming back, but sometimes even her being close didn't' help. He saw it, those eyes that were black and gold staring at them as it moved closer. Thorn was closest and it looked ready to crush her. The thought of losing her made him move and quickly he transformed and grabbed ahold of her, curling up around her. He was her shield. As he felt the monster pound on him he woke up. Sitting up, he felt the sweat run down him as he took a breath trying to forget the dream. It was in the past but it never seemed to be. Looking around he saw Thorn standing there ready to fight and he smirked. Slowly heading up, he wrapped a arm around her from behind and pulled her to him, "so what have you been up to since I have been asleep? anything fun?" he asked as he placed his chin on her head, drinking in the calmness that she brought him.

Fang and Anna

Fang let out a low growl but kept his ground as he watched the strange man. No one had taken care of Anna before other than him. He glared at the man hearing him as he bared his small fangs in a defensive manner. Anna was his and where she went so did he. He walked over to the river as he came back with Annas sheathed sword. He moved his head quickly throwing it at the Man nailing him in the face with it. He softly chuckled to himself as he watched the sword nail the man. He looked up as he heard Anna. He moved to her side ignoring the man as he nuzzled her lovingly letting out a soft sigh to let her know he was there. He watched as Anna caught the sword holding it to her chest.
Anna slowly open her eyes as she felt somewhat better. She looked up as she saw a strange man. He looked to Fang as she smiled at him happy to hear him. "Please, this is my dragon he is a pain at times but he is harmless. Thank you for your kindness." She said as she closed her eyes again trying to fight sleep. "You can leave me." She said as she tried to wake up looking to the man. "Y-your office...." was all she managed to get out before fading back into her deep sleep. Her body went limp as she went further into sleep. Fang slowly moved to her shoulders as he nuzzled her lovingly curling up around her this time digging in so the man couldn't swat him away this time. He forgot about the man for a moment as the love he had for Anna appeared in his eyes. The dragon nuzzled her lovingly softly licking her face lovingly closing his eyes and resting his face against hers. He could tell she was just tired now and was safe for now.

Red Eye

Red Eye looked to Gaby as he watched her fascinated by her. He smiled as his beast softly bent down and licked the girl laying down just behind them. He couldn't help but chuckle softly as he watched the girls hair stand up straight above her head for a moment from the slobber from the great beast. Amadeus licked her out of happiness liking her and wanted to let her know he approved of her. Red Eye gently turned as he petted his dear friend. He clinched his side as the shooting pain hit him. "Not agai....." he tried to say however he hit the floor out cold. Amadeus let out a softly roar as he used his nose to find Red Eye. He smelt him as he tried to tell if his master as alright. He calmed down as he heard Red Eye in his mind as the man started to regain consciousness. Red Eye hung onto Amadeus nose as the beast rose his head lifting him to his feet. He rested on his beast as he tried recover. He couldn't talk as he just rested against his friend. The pain still coursing through his body. After a little while the pain vanished as he could breath again. He looked at Gaby as he hung his head. " Have a powerful beast and I can't predict when I will blackout. We are advance in everything however they can't cure me. Pathadic I know. I'm the reason they don't Link anymore. " He admitting hanging his head as he slid to the floor resting his back against his beast.

" That girl, Anna she was the only person who could link to any monster with no side effect. She was going to teach me. We where the only people to have the ablility to link. However I didn't know they would have to take her spinal fluid to synthesize a potion for me to fix my own issues when I link. I had been anger when she vanished she knew she was my only hope. But they didn't tell me they had to hurt her to save me. I don't blame her for leaving. They tested us none stop pulling samples from our spines, and our blood constantly. Her home had been in trouble she kept rambling. However we all learned it wasn't rambling. That's when they forced me to start Linking as fast as I could to gain information to try and figure out how to make a potion for other who couldn't link to be able to link. However each time it failed. Apparently my fault isn't ideal for making a potion." He said as he let out a breath and shook his head. " So you end up with a sick Master and and Blind Beast. the constant linking has left me damaged. I'm sorry I want be a good partner.I can't promise to protect you. I can't predict when I will black out sometimes it is for a moment others weeks. Anna had helped me when I was younger. She knew methods to help keep the blackouts in control. Something we as a nation lost when we lost the original linking tech." He said as he laughed softly petting his beast. He laughed as the beast licked him lovingly. It was obvious Amadeus didn't want Red Eye to dwell on the past, it made his master unhappy.

Thorn

Thorn smiled as she heard him feeling him pull her against him. She smiled as she molded her body against his feeling safe and enjoying the feeling. "That girl, she appeared again. She defeated my hydra before it could attack. However my poison got her. She had a baby dragon with her. It distracted her becoming the focus of my last hydra head. The girl sacrificed herself to protect the dragon. I doubt she will die that girl had great survival skills. She is resilient however I don't even her with that Dragon. That dragon has caused her more issues these last five months. But I have to say I'm found of her. She acts more like us than the others. She has no love for the government and her only friend seems to be that little dragon. Of all our candidates she is the most fascinating. " Thorn said as she softly leaned up and kissed the bottom of Poe's chin.

She rested against him as she softly stroked his jaw line as she rested against him. She closed her eyes as she blanked her mind out enjoying the peace this time with no flashback. She found peace as they just sat there together. She slowly open her eyes as she smiled. "Thank you for bringing me Peace. " She said as she peered up at him. "You never had to protect me why did you chose me? " She asked honestly curious after his performance just moments ago.

West

West was about to walk away when something hard hit him in the face. Turning to the little dragon he glared at him, "oh your asking for it." he said and was about to set down the girl when he noticed that the sword wasn't on the ground. Looking down at her he watched as she cluched the sword to her and then listened. Frowning he was about to argue with her when she passed out again. So the little dragon was her pet or something like that. Watching as the dragon clung to her he sighed and took a deep breath. Part of him didn't care that the dragon was hers, he wanted to strangle it and watch it die. But he had to keep his anger in check, Gaby wasn't here to protect others. Breathing deeply he made himself calm down and then looked at the dragon, "be glad that I am trying to be nice."

With that he started carrying the two back towards the village, "and I am not leaving a girl by herself when she is passed out. That is asking for death." he said and smiled as he got to the village again. Thankfully they were all to busy trying to clean up the village to notice them slip into a slightly burned and deserted house. Heading over to a clear patch in the house he gently laid her down and then checked all her bandages, nothing had been torn in the process. "good, now I just have to make sure that the little poison that is left doesn't' affect her." eh said as he pulled off his coat and laid it over her. Glaring at the dragon, he wished he really could kill him but knew the girl would probably kill him for killing the little brat. Settling down against the wall, he watched over her and hoped that he had gotten most of the poison.

Gaby

Gaby was surprised whens he felt a wet thing against her face and then looked to the wolf. Patting down her hair she looked to Red when she saw him fall over. Moving slowly, she moved to his side and looked him over. "no visible wounds." she stated simply as she watched him lean against Amadeus. "so since you have the link with Amadeus you black out, interesting information." she said as she looked over the two, for once showing interest in something. She then listened to him explain everything and just stood there like a doll again. The only indication that she was alive was the slight rise and fall of her chest as she stood there.

Once he was done she looked at the two, "I see no problem in our arrangement." she stated as she looked at the two, "you offer a unique service that I can not but I do not expect to be protected. I can and will protect myself and I am fully capable of protecting others. That has been my job for years as my brothers keeper for years." she said as she looked at him and for once a hint of a smile leaked onto her face. She seemed to change, the doll like look seemed to melt away in a second and there stood a rather strong confident girl. "I can keep you and amadeus as safe as possible." and once she said that the slight smile was gone from her face. The doll was back. Turning back to the equipment she started her search, "we need to look at all the data we have to figure out who may have caused the hydra to appear. We have no further data on what happened and there is no data on who may dislike the village. We may have to dig deeper or think of other possibilities of why that village was attack." she said as she moved right back to work as if the black out hadn't' happened.

Poe

Poe smiled as he felt her mold herself to him and he frowned, "that girl is really becoming a problem, she always is capable of doing the impossible." he said and then smiled a little bit, "but at least by the sounds of it we may be rid of her if that poison takes care of her." and hoped that it would. He didn't like how much of a problem that girl caused them and he knew it distressed thorn just slightly. Feeling her kiss, he closed his eyes and just held her closer to him. Feeling her stroke his jaw he looked down at her and kissed her head gently, "Thank you for being with me." he said softly as he looked down at her.

Hearing her question he pulled her closer, "I will always protect the person that holds my heart." he said and kissed her cheek gently, "I chose you because your the only person who has never feared me, cared for me, and has stood by me. Your the only person I will ever choose to protect." he said as he stroked her cheek gently. "and I was wondering, do you want me to take care of that girl? she is weak by now and I know she isn't our favorite person in the world currently. I could take a trip down to the village and see how she tastes." he said as he looked down at Thorn. Eating a person wasn't a big deal for him, he had done it before and to be honest they tasted just like steak to him. If he ate her that would mean one less person to deal with when they killed off everyone else.

Fang and Mrs.Sugar Plum the lady who talks.

Fang kept to himself ignoring the strange man. He slowly moved from Anna's neck as he took his spot on her left as she slept. He didn't particularly like the man who had found Anna, however the man seemed to want the best for her. Rather the man liked it or not there was good in him that much was easy to see. Fang peered up at the man as he studied him. He finally turned and wondered off deciding the man was worthy of his trust. He made his way through the village to a rather large cottage near the opposite end. There he climbed through a open window and let out a cry. He kept crying till the plum lady came running to him. The woman looked worried as she couldn't see Anna anywhere in sight behind the baby dragon. She looked to the dragon as he cried. "Are you hungry? Where is Anna your master? " She watched as the baby dragon nodded that it was hungry and turned pointing to the opposite side of the village. The young dragon kept looking back at her then out the window in an urgent manner. "Is Anna hurt little one? Is that what your trying to tell me?" She exclaimed as she saw the young dragon nod. "Give me a moment little one, we will go find your master." The plum lady said as she scurried through her house of hanging herbs. The plum lady was the local doctor for the village. She had met Anna once before on her journey when she was traveling to see her two sons in far off towns. Anna had saved her multiple times from strange monsters and even hunger. The woman had always felt indebted to the young girl.

She fixed a cart full of supplies. She had clothing, blankets, enough food to feed ten with ease. Lets not forget the different herbs and potions she had thrown into the cart. She threw in fire supplies just in case Anna was out the forest. She opened her front door pushing the large push cart outside. She walked back in and grabbed the small dragon wrapping him around her broad shoulders. She shut the door behind her as she let the baby dragon lead her to an abandon house with some fire damage. She open the door and rolled her cart in as she was surprised to see a young man there. "Oh my!" She exclaimed and then saw another figure over in the corner. The woman watched as Fang tried to glide over to Anna falling just short of her having to walk the rest of the way to her left side away from the man.

"He's gotten bigger since the last time I saw him. Give him another week and he'll be as big as a bull. Though he honestly already looks bigger than I remember him just the other day." She said as she walked over looking at Anna. "Poor dear what did she get into a fight with this time?" Her eyes looked to the baby dragon who hung his head looking as if he had done something wrong. " Now Now little one you know Aunt Sugar Plum will fix your Anna all up for you. Don't fret little one. I'm sure Anna knew it was the right thing to do. You shouldn't bolt into fights as you do at times but I think that is why Anna loves you. No matter your size you were born to defend the innocent." The woman said gently bending down petting the small dragon. She looked over Anna gently undoing each bandage as she stopped smelling a slight foul smell. She bent down putting her nose next to Anna's wound as she jolted to her feet. "Pee Yuu, I know that smell, nothing like Hydra venom. It's a good thing I brought all my potions. Should have known it was you two with that Hydra. Thank goodness it's not like those government folk care about us poor folk. Always sending us help after the fact or sending us children with no training. Poor dears are no more able to defend themselves than we are I tell ya." The women said as she pulled out blue potion and a pink potion. She handed the blue potion to West and took the pink one over to Anna.

She opened the pink one and opened Anna's mouth letting the girl drink half. She got up as she grabbed a bowl and some herbs pouring the rest into the bowl, grinding it up with the herbs making a light brown paste. The woman pulled out some special leaves applying the paste to Anna's wounds and then putting the leaves on top of it. She smiled as she saw the leaves starting to turn black from the poison being drawn from the wound. She could only smile as she bandaged all Anna's wounds again putting the paste on each one. She turned as she looked at West. "I take it you're the hero that saved my Anna. Drink that potion there, it will make sure you have no side effects from the venom you sucked out. " She said as she cleaned up her mess. She went to her cart pulling out the blankets and placing one on Anna. She put the rest of them against the wall.
"I'm Mrs. Sugar Plum one of the naturalist Doctors around these parts. That potion will taste like blueberries you'll like it. I don't do nasty tasting medicine. " She said as she unloaded the bread, cheese, mountain of meat, some soup, jams,and some cookies. She hand seven bottles of wine and four of water placing them along side the blankets against the wall. She sat the fire wood and matches along the wall as well.

The plum woman shook her head looking at the house. "This just won't do for you two. I'll have my husband and some of the men from the village come by and fix the house up for you two. With those wounds Anna isn't going anywhere for a while. You could use some rest and drink the potion. I live in the large tree at the opposite side of the village. Really, it's a target now that I think of it for the monsters. I'm the only person in this place who dared live in a tree. But for some reason the monsters around here don't like the smell that comes from my tree so they leave it alone. " She said thinking more to herself. She then looked at the man as she smiled warmly at him realizing she had carried about again not giving the poor boy time to talk. She bowed to him as she blushed at herself yet again why her husband put up with her she never knew. "Oh forgive me. I've done it again. I'm very sorry dear sir. I tend to go off on tangents. I'm Mrs. Sugar Plum. The small one over there brought me here. You see he and his master have saved me countless times. I got worried when I didn't see Anna join him so I assumed the worst. " She said as he looked to the little dragon who just stared at Anna.

" The girl there her name is Anna or that is what she prefers to be called. She has a hard time with most others like yourself and me. It took me well, a good of two years to get her to open up to me. Poor girl has strange scars all over her spine. She finally told me one day about herself. She came from that Mountain where the great dragons ruled. What was the name of that mountain?" The women said as she tried to remember the name of it. "Oh, anyhow she was one of the few humans who lived there with the great beasts. Her family like all that lived there protected the great beasts. They were the ones that trained the beasts and helped to raise them. If you don't believe me looked at her left wrist she bares the Royal dragon seal." The woman said as she walked over and lifted up Anna's arm. There was a black dragon tattoo with a shield on the dragons chest with two swords going through it. " Anna said she didn't remember much about being taken from her family. All she remembered was waking up in the government labs. Poor dear, those monsters experimented on her that's were all those scars come from on her spine. Anna said they used her to link with other beast they also trained her for other things though she never told me what. From what I do know I have a great disliking for the foul government." The plum lady said as she finally took a break from talking. Sadness filled her eyes as she looked to Anna. "Anna told me that the government had pulled countless children for experimentation. She told me they pulled any they thought could link with beast such as Fang over there." She said looking to the small dragon who puffed up his chest trying to look mighty. It made the woman laugh as she gently petted him.

" Their goal was to make partners again with linking humans and their beast. However after losing their original tech that allowed any human to link and being set back almost 30 years, they where reduced to doing it the old fashioned way. They had to test individuals and rate them on their linking abilities. Anna said that the ones who couldn't link naturally where forced to link and when they did...." The woman had tears in her eyes as she stared at Anna. " Either the monster would attack and kill them or their bodies would shut down permanently. Anna and one other boy there where the only ones out of countless children that could link. However she told me the boy had a problem when he linked. He hadn't been trained in how to manage a link and there for his body rejected the links causing him much pain. She had promised to teach him before her escape. " The woman said as she looked to the boy.

" Anna can Link to people and animals without tech. Apparently it is a qualification to being chosen as a dragon protector. However her Link isn't near as strong as with the tech. When I met Anna she didn't talk instead she showed me images from her mind. I learned I could teach her with my memories. That is how I taught her to talk. When I met her she was more beast than human. She was raised by the great dragons and understands them like no other. Anna had escaped that night hearing the screams of her families. What she found it.....the great government had lead the large lizard like monster to her home. It was the same one that originally attacked those years ago. Anna watched every member of her family both human and dragon be slaughtered, the government leaving them to face the monster alone. It was there Anna found that sword and used it on the monster. The poor girl still has nightmares from that day. Her memories are so warped from that day, I think she managed to hurt the monster, but I fear it's still sleeping somewhere. Anna held her father as he died in her arms his large dragon dying beside her after trying to protect her from monster. Anna spent months burying her families. I don't know how she did it. She never left them and stayed up at night watching their graves to ensure no one disturbed them till she had the others buried. Poor girl, it shattered her since she heard and felt every dragon and every human, something they don't tell you about linking. Anna is not stable I should warn you. That day did something to her that I nor any other can fix. The months of burying them didn't help. She found that dragon over there in the rubble in her mothers arms. Her mother had used her own body as a shield , as well as her mothers dragon. They had shielded a group of eggs. All the eggs Anna cared for, this little one here was the last from her home to hatch. The others Anna hid following the orders given to her by her father. This one apparently chose Anna as her dragon. The other dragons wherever they are are Anna's too. But this one is her partner. His sole purpose it to protect and fight with her in battle. " The plum lady said as she smiled at the small dragon.

"Anna showed me what it meant to link and the special bond between a human and dragon. Apparently there is a human for every dragon. Every dragon that is born has a human it can link with. However we humans don't always accept the link and miss out on the gift. Anyhow, look at the time I have kept you long enough. If you want to talk more you know where to find me." The plum women said as she got up and headed out the door leaving the cart hearing her name being yelled. She vanished leaving West alone with the others.

Red Eye

Red eye smiled as he watched Gaby with interest. She seemed to change if only for a moment. He thought he might have seen a smile from her. However it was short lived as she brought back the problem at hand. He nodded as he thought about what they did know. "Our best lead right now is Anna. Some how she knows when there is going to be a monster attack." He had tried to Link with her like he did before but the last time she linked with him was long enough to show him where she left her dog tags and the message for him. For some reason she wouldn't accept his link with her anymore. The night she cut her link with him all he remembered was all the voice he heard and the pain he felt and then just silence. The president was right whether he liked it or not. Anna was their key to figuring out these attacks and they needed her even if she didn't need them. " We need to head to the village. We have to find her, somehow she is always a step ahead of us. Maybe we can kill two birds with one stone." He said as he looked to Gaby and smiled. "You can see your brother and I can find Anna. If we don't find her they will." He said as he saw the tactical team suiting up. The president wasn't playing anymore he wanted Anna it appeared come hell or high waters. "If they get to her before us she will kill them. However I'm more worried about who else she will kill in her rage. Your brother you tame him right? If you see Anna and you get your choice choose her. Anna is worst than most. " He said as he climbed onto Amadeus' back. He gently helped Gaby onto his partners back as his beast let out a loud growl aiming it towards the tactical team.

The large beast lunged forward as they went soaring through the air. Amadeus cleared the open roof landing just out side of the building on the ground. The large beast started running forward at half speeding putting good distance from them and the tactical team. " This is classified information and on a need to know bases. Anna is an advanced weapon unlike you and I. She is close to your brother however she can exceed him. Your brother is skilled but Anna can make him look like a child. She can make war look like child's play. Unknown to Anna she was enhanced with government tech turning her into a super weapon. Anna was the only person able to withstand a attack from the large lizard that shifted the balance of power. Unknown to her she managed to kill it with one shot of her sword. The government figured out how to make Anna part machine. They use her linking ability along with the linking tech they embedded in her spine allowing them to pull her memories. Anna is only able to access her enhanced mental abilities when angered, which we all found out by accident. Her abilities are so powerful she can clear an entire mountain with just a single thought. Now imagine that ability enhanced by government tech. Unknown to Anna they induced her into rages, to train her, secretly turning her into a secret weapon. When Anna gets mad her programing takes over to kill anything within the surrounding area. Augmented Neurological Network of Adaptive technology or simply known as ANNA." He said as he looked over his shoulder at Gaby. " Anna thinks the markings on her spine are from spinal test the truth is that is where her tech is located. Her entire spine is nothing but advanced tech. They did do spinal test on her as they did me. I too have the advance tech in me. That is why I can summon things that look like magic. However with Anna hers are more advance making her something that you shouldn't play with. I've seen her take a simple pebble and kill over 100 men with it with a single thought. In her rage she shuts down her Linking ability and lets the anger fuel her. Anna had been in training with her family to use her mental powers. However the government had pulled her at a critical time. Anna didn't learn how to control her powers,she knew how to use them but not how to control them. That's what makes her deadly. Her mental power has grown but with no control she is a liability. The lab techs here want Anna brought in for more training and to test out a new piece of tech they made.
I don't know much about it, they believe it would give Anna control over her powers and help with her rage. Pretty much they made a monster and now they want to fix it. If you meet Anna she will have no idea of any of this. Some how her mind rejects what really happens when she is enraged. It erases all memories of what she done and the people who saw. In away it's almost like a safeguard to protect herself. " He said as he gently took her hand and transferred images of her brothers file and the tech they had planned to infuse into West. He then showed her his own secret file and his true abilities as well as his own beast thanks to the tech. Finally, after some struggling showed her Anna. He showed her the innocent girl afraid and being knocked around. Her screams as they tortured her till she snapped. He then showed her the monster they created letting her see the day ANNA awoke. The problem was when ANNA awoke there was no sign of sweet little Anna being any different. She looked the same however the looks she gave the men as the small Penny sized rock rose and levitated beside her gave a clue she wasn't sweet anymore. He closed his eyes as he showed the lethal use of the rock going through each skull. He stopped halfway through not able to stand seeing it again. He hung his head as he turned around holding on to his beast.

He open his eyes as he showed Amadeus where to go. He kept quiet not wanting to speak. He still held her hand as he showed her his own dark secrets and the dangers of the tech. He showed the entire village that vanished from his attack. He was not proud of it. "I feel I should show you the dangers of what they have planned for your brother. They have found he can Link like Anna and I. If they put the tech into him calling it their clever little name "Linking tech." He will be a monster like us. Don't let them test your blood Gaby and don't let them take you in for testing. You can believe your next on their list. I will do what I can to prolong your brothers "training" as they put it. But I can't stop them from implanting tech in him. If they find a beast they will implant tech in him and make him link making two monsters instead of one. The original attack that started all this scared the higher ups so bad that they started dabbling into things they shouldn't have. So instead of just Linking now the new generations are secret monsters along with their monsters. Each Linking Tech will activate a hidden power within the person. I don't know what your brothers is but if it's like mine or Anna's he will be a force of nature. " He said as he kept his eyes forward for Amadeus to see using them.

"I can't challenge the government because I need they potion they make so I don't die. My own tech is my worst enemy. My hope was Anna would let them take the last spinal fluid sample they needed to make me mine so I wouldn't rely on them every again. However that didn't happen. They know I'm their pawn. I tell you this because if something happens I have no choice but to do a they command no matter how much I dislike it. They also planted something special in me and Amadeus learning from Anna. If we disobey they will kill us. Amadeus wasn't blind when I met him. He lost his sight trying to protect me from them. If Anna doesn't come in with us they will take her. However if she acts out again I'm afraid they will terminate her or try to. Either way I don't want to see the results. I'm afraid Anna would destroy the entire capital and make the monsters look like child's play in comparison. They are stupid to send in the tactical team after her. Anna hasn't shown her true power since the day she left. However if they appear and try to take her out. I fear they will awaken a sleeping giant.
I need you if we are confronted and things are looking bad to knock her out using the dagger at my waist and restrain her.
You are your brothers protector I'm Anna's or I have tried to be. Those men you saw, they came in to punish me for not Linking with the hundred of beast they had found. Anna did what she did to protect me. West is your brother and Anna is like a sister to me. Everything she done she done to protect me or Amadeus from them. Anna normally only snaps if something she loves or feels she must protect is in danger. Hopefully we can get to her first." He said as he knew they had a good journey ahead of them.

Thorn

Thorn looked up at him as she smiled hearing is kind words. " I can't fear someone who is close to me. Besides you've seen my demon and loved her as I love yours." She said as she smiled at him enjoying resting against him. She thought about his offer as she weighed the cost. She had no intention of losing him to this girl. In all honesty she was starting to fear the girl. The girl was starting to make her and Poe look like amateurs at killing monsters. " No...I don't want to lose you. We don't know her full potential as of yet. We have never rushed blindly into battle without precaution before let's not start now. I think we should test her more, lets see if we can find any weakness before we decide to appear. " She said as she thought about the strange girl. " She may be our answer to making our dreams come true. Think on it my love. She has faced monsters that others could not. Some how she has always come out victorious. What makes this one girl so special? If we are lucky she'll attract another like her. We found one another, maybe she could find another like her that is special. We could use them maybe. If you want to try and kill her I can't stop you. But for candidates she is the only human that has survived up to this point. We are looking for the strongest and like it or not she is proving to be the strongest." She said as she softly kissed his chin again. " I'd rather wait and have some fun with the government. Revenge is best served cold they say."

West

West was enjoying the quiet but before he knew it the quiet was shattered. A girl was moving around like she owned the place and was talking his ear off. He couldn’t’ even get a word in and even when she paused she continued before he could make out a sentence. Sighing to himself, he closed his eyes and just listened to her. She had good information like this was Anna, someone the government wanted. They would give him a good price for her if he brought her back. They had been searching for her for years and by the healers words he could tell why. She was dangerous. Yet when she revealed the marking of the royal dragons on her wrist he pulled his coat closer to himself. He didn’t need a remainder of what he was supposed to be.

Looking at the potion she had given him, he watched her leave and then sighed. Pressing it to his lips he downed it in a second and then set the bottle on the ground next to him. “I prefer it tasting like crap.” He said as he tried to get the flavor of berry’s out of his mouth now but it wouldn’t’ go away. Closing his eyes he looked up at the roof, “look you little brat, I am not going to do anything with you two for now. I can understand her hatred towards the government; it is sort of like my distaste for dragons. If I was forced to go into a nest of dragons I would be kicking and screaming and killing, so I would rather like to avoid that.” He said as he looked up and found himself thinking of his family or the little memories he had.

“I am not a fan of dragons, your annoying little beasts with short tempers in my opinion. If you weren’t linked to her and she wasn’t Anna I would have killed you the second you moved. All dragons should be obliterated for what they did to me.” He said as he closed his eyes, “I watched my entire village go up in flames, watched my family burn, and everything I love die. Have you tried burring ashes and burned bones? The smell never leaves your clothing or your mind. It stays with you as if it is forever smudged on your brain. Even now I know what the smell of burned bone and skin is.” He said as he wrinkled his nose at the imaginary smell.

“I never would have thought dragons would have done that, but they did. We had done nothing to them; we were at peace with them as we lived outside their nest. We even had a family that was to start living with them, instead they burned us all.” He said and then looked down at the dragon, “be grateful I am nice right now because unlike other people I know I can take down a adult dragon.” He hissed at the dragon, his anger bubbling slightly as he remembered everything. Taking a deep breath he forced himself to calm down and closed his eyes. “Remember Gaby said to breath deeply, breath deeply.” He muttered to himself as he tried to get the anger to go away by remembering what Gaby had taught him.

Gaby

Gaby nodded and just listened as he stuck her on Amadeus and they were headed out of there. Hearing his story about the past and Anna she thought this over and wasn’t all that surprised to hear that her brother was next for the experiment. Wrapping his arms around him, she stuck close as Amadeus ran and wondered what they were to do. “Do not fear for my brother, I may be his keeper but I have trained him.” She stated before anything else. “I have trained him to keep his anger in check and if he remembers to then there should be no problem from him. He may be angered but he is learning to release it.” Or at least she hoped.

“And my brother may not have this link or power or tech as you say, but that wont stop him. Once he is angered and ready to fight he will fight till he dies.” She said as she remembered all the times she had to restrain him just so that he would let her treat him. Yet there was another side of her brother, one that wasn’t all that bad. He could be sensible at times and understanding, that was where he truly shined. When he wasn’t anger and filled with hate he could be caring, nice, and considerate. She just hoped that it didn’t turn to hatred and anger quickly if anything happened.

Yet all thoughts of her brother stopped when she heard him and frowned. The government had ensured that they would keep him under there control. She wasn’t exactly sure how she felt about that completely, she knew she felt sadness for him but what else? “So we are to bring in Anna without a fuss. I hope we can have that happen.” She said but for once she couldn’t’ get her mind off of what he had said; he was trapped in a way. “I am sure if we talk to her logically we can get her to see reason to come back without a fight.”

Poe

Poe smiled when he heard her and looked into her eyes, “She is just as beautiful as you so of course I love your demon.” He said as he looked at her. He then watched as she got that far away look in her eyes as she thought and couldn’t’ help but thinks he was cute. Though when he heard her he nodded, “toying with our food is always fun.” He said as he thought about it and knew she was right, they had to wait. Though when he heard her he smiled, “ah, but I forgot to tell you. It seems there is a guy in the government causing a bit of a ruckus at times. He isn’t linked to anything but he has promise, much promise that the government it planning to link him with another. I will have our spy check it out more but we may have another subject in him.” He said as he kissed her head. “While we wait for our dinner to get cold, I say we gather more information on this promising subject. He may have already made contact with out little lady.” He said as he smiled down at Thorn and knew that she would like that idea.

Fang and Anna

Fang jumped back as he felt the strange power again. He growled loudly at Anna as he watched her lift into the air. She stood upright or floated to be precise. Her frail body hung between the earth and sky as her lovely blond hair reached out from her body, it looked as if it was alive dancing about her before freezing perfectly framing her body. The moment was frozen in time as she hung there suspended like a beautiful ornament. A sudden blast of energy came from her throwing everything around her outwards. The bandages ripping away exposing her wounds as they healed before the others eyes. In a matter of seconds her wounds where completely healed. Everything froze except for West and Fang as the girls eye's shot open. In that frozen moment of time her irises showed their true color. Her irises were stunning a brilliant sky blue, they pierced through a soul with great force. Her eyes where captivating to any that saw full of wonder and mystery.


Her eyes cut to West as she stared at him. She threw out her hand as the frozen moment ended. Another blast came from her as everything was returned to it's original form. She kept herself suspended from the ground as her eyes peered deep into West soul. Her eyes shifted as she looked past him, past the village reaching out with her mind. She looked past the trees, the river, the mountain, she looked for the source. However she closed her eyes not finding the source of what she looked for. She would find the one linking all the monsters. They would pay for hydra attack and every other she was growing tired of their games. When she found them she would dispose of them. Her eyes open again as she watched the black dragon jump in front of West her blade hung just inches from the dragons neck as it tried to flap sadly in front of the man. She could only stare as she found this intriguing, the dragon was will to risk his own life to protect the human that obviously hated him. She watched as the dragon used all it's might to keep it's self suspending in the air between West and her floating blade. She could only smile as she watched the dragon impressed with it yet again. She waited till the dragon reached his max then withdrew her sword returning it to her side. She only watched as the dragon fell to the earth exhausted and in pain.

She slowly moved forward allowing her feet to touch the earth as she gently waved her hand over the dragon's body. She smiled dragon looked happier softly moving to her arms. She stared at the dragon as it looked disapproving at her. The dragon started growling at her fussing at her. She simple stared at it as she returned to the air. A small smile graced her lips as she let go of him. She watched as he let out a growl scolding her the last half being cut short as the dragon was forced to focus on flying. She grinned as the dragon kept scolding her finally flying correctly. The dragon not even realizing what it was doing. She shifted her eyes back to West holding her hand up simply snapping her fingers Fang hit the ground landing on the blankets with her guidance softly. The dragon was instantly in a deep slumber almost looking like a enchanted slumber. She held her gaze on West returning to the ground as she closed her eyes. Her hair fell to her sides dancing violently around her from being freed from it's frozen moment in time. It quickly took it's place at her side frame her form. Her facial expression soften as she slowly open her eyes.


She looked to West then to Fang as she smiled at him. "He must be tired." She simply turning gently wrapping him in one of the blankets. She smiled as she saw the food along the wall. She grabbed some bread along with the fruit jam making herself a simple meal. She closed her eyes enjoying each bite as she giggled at how good it tasted. She knew that Jam it only came from one person. She slowly made her way outside as she looked around realizing where she was. She didn't recognize the village at first when she had seen the Hydra. She smiled as she saw the Tree knowing it belonged to Mrs. Sugar Plum. She smiled thinking about the woman's name and how funny it was honestly. Returning to the house she took some of the cookies her eyes on Fang. He was getting bigger and soon she wouldn't be able to carry him. She wondered if she could hunt enough to feed him as she looked lost in thought.

Slowly she turned as she saw West again. She wasn't sure how she felt about him. He had saved her but he didn't seem to like Fang. However she couldn't hold it against him. Most people didn't like small animals, or any size for that matter in the way when they need to do something. Fang had a bad habit of being underfoot and always in the way. She honestly wanted to get moving being so close to people made her uncomfortable. Unconsciously she had started twirling an small section of her hair. A telling sign of how nervous she was becoming in her surroundings. She kept looking to the door as she debated if she could leave or not. It would be rude to leave without thanking the man for saving her. However she was perfectly fine apparently she had just been tired was all. She hung her head as she knew in the back of her mind it was rude to not say anything. Finally she spoke up her voice soft. "Thank you for saving me. I'm sorry for the trouble. At sunrise I will leave I promise. Feel free to keep what Mrs. Sugar plum left. " She said as she tried to be friendly.

Red Eye
Red Eye kept quiet as he pondered on Gabby's thoughts. " Maybe once this is all over those two should meet. They might be perfect for one another. Two forces with the same power can canceled each other out. They might make the perfect team witch is a scary thought. " He said as he smiled hearing her speak of her brother. "You care so much for your brother it's nice to hear and see. He's a lucky man to have you. If you say he is fine I trust you. All friendships have to be built on trust. Your faith in your brother is easy to see. Just as the confidence you have in yourself. I like that quality in you. I'm not use to seeing it in a person. Confidence is always the best outfit to make people like you. Or that was the cheesy line the lab tech use to tell me. Of course Anna always chimed in and said that Arrogance followed witch lead to pain and misery. She told me to dress myself in humbleness and goodness. " He said as he laughed shaking his head thinking of Anna. He looked over his shoulder at Gabby as he smiled at her. "Hold on." He said as he turned back around moving closer to Amadeus as the beast lunged forward picking up great speed. He smiled as they flew past the different areas. He kept a eye on Gabby making sure she was safe. He knew she could protect herself but she was in his charge. He wasn't going to let her get hurt because of him.

" Thank you for agreeing to be my partner. Not many would agree to it. Please tell me about yourself. I don't know many people besides their rank. " He said knowing that was a sad fact. He couldn't leave the compound unless there was a mission for him. He hadn't been out of the compound for months. This was a welcome change and he had someone to talk with besides Amadeus. He spent all of his time alone with Amadeus waiting for his orders. He was one of a kind and always in demand. He wondered what it was like living in the village. All he could remember was the compound. He had come from a village once but it had been so long ago all of his memories had faded. The only way he knew his age was by his personal file. "Do you live in the city with your brother? " He asked wondering if the pair lived together off the compound. "I ask because I've never seen it. I guess that's not correct I have never seen it in person. I can see the outline from the roof of the compound. I wish I had someone like you. I wish I had someone worth fighting for. " He said as he looked to Gabby. "That's why your brother refuses to give up on a fight. He has someone worth fighting for. He has a reason to live. " He said as he smiled to her looking back as he quickly guided Amadeus around the large rocks that jutted up around them. He could only smile feeling free for once. He loved just being like this. There was nothing as freeing as riding Amadeus at his full speed. It felt like you where flying at times able to touch the sky. It always made him smile making him look like a kid again.


He couldn't only laugh as he enjoyed the ride. However his happiness was short lived as Amadeus came to a sudden stop. He held tightly onto the beast as he felt a sharp pain in his head. Amadeus let out a whimper in pain as he shook his head. The pair both feeling the sudden pain. Soon the pain stopped as the two shook their heads in perfect unison. Red Eye softly stroked Amadeus as his memory tried to place that pain. He knew that pain was from something but what was it? He had felt it before. His eyes widen as he remembered. "Anna." He whispered as he felt her link for just a brief moment. However it wasn't the kind of link any wanted. Her mental powers had been awaken. However he didn't feel rage from her he felt something different. He felt curiosity and slight anger but not the rage. As soon as it appeared the link vanished again.
"She didn't kill anyone nor did she destroy anything. Anna used her mental powers. However she didn't attack." He said in shocked at the fact. Had Anna learned self control or was this just a fluke. He shook his head one last time as Amadeus returned to his run. Red Eye looked back to Gabby as he smiled faintly at her. " Sorry for the minor set back Milady. Please do tell me more about you and your brother. You find happiness talking about him. Besides you look better with the smile it brings on your face." He said as he turned around smiling.

Thorn

Thorn could only smile hearing him. She loved the idea of the informant. This would be fun after all another to add to their little game. This day was turning out to be full of surprises it seemed. She grinned happy at the thought of another prospect. It also didn't hurt that the nest of hydra she had stirred up where on the war path heading in different directions hunting in pairs. This was going to be fun to watch. She just started to laugh as a pair whipped out a entire village. The took out the little Officers before the fools could even move. She shifted her eyes to Poe as she grinned. "What a glorious day this has turned out to be. It appears the ruckus I caused at the hydra next didn't go unnoticed. Apparently I woke them all. Now they are hunting in pairs. Poor officers they don't even stand a change. Sadly the beast will calm down by night fall and retreat back to their nest. Oh well." She said as she let out a sigh. She turned as she snuggled up against him closing her eyes. " Wake me when the fun starts. I want to kill something." She said as she drifted off to sleep finding comfort in him. He was the only thing she found comfort in.

West

West just watched in slight amazement as she moved, floating in the air and the amount of power she showed off. It was dazzling and horrifying all at the same time, something he oddly liked. When he saw her wounds heal he realized a little bit. It would be one less thing to worry about now that she was healed, but that didn’t mean that she was strong enough to go about on her own. He knew that from personal experience. When he was plastered to the wall he wondered what would happen next and found himself looking at beautiful blue eyes that reminded him of the sky. Part of him wondered if she really was human or something better.

Yet his amazement was cut short as he watched her try to press a dagger to his neck. He had been ready for it, ready for the sting of the blade and the slow/quick death that came with it. He had even closed his eyes as he waited for the point but it never came. Opening his eyes he saw the little dragon from before and it was actually defending him. For cone he wasn’t sure what that meant, did he actually have a dragon as a ally? The idea brought a slight thrill from inside, the part of him he had buried long ago, and yet it disgusted him to know he trusted his enemy. It even shocked him when he grew worried about the dragon as it fell to the ground but looked only to be fast asleep. Was he growing soft? Possibly.

“I would expect him to be, he has been pestering me all day.” He said as he tried to get himself comfortable. He then watched as she grabbed food and then seem to look for someone, he guessed the girl from before. “Please eat, I am not all that hungry.” He said as he pushed more food towards her and found himself watching her carefully. Now that she was awake and not being all-powerful he could tell that she was fine, possibly still a little weak form the poison but fine. That was good considering that hydra poison wasn’t exactly the greatest thing to get into your body. Yet when he heard her about leaving he couldn’t’ help but laugh just a little bit as he sat there.

“if you think I am going to let you go just like that your wrong. You had Hydra poison in you and I don’t care how fast you can heal. After a fight and being poisoned it is better to relax a couple of days or else you risk your body of shutting down. I should know.” He said as he watched her carefully now. She seemed to be nervous, like she wasn’t use to being around people or in a village. Was that from wondering around like a animal with a animal all the time? He guessed so. “so I suggest that you get yourself comfortable because like it or not I still have to make sure that your fit to leave.” He said as he looked at her and made sure that she knew he was serious about this.

Gaby

Gaby thought about it for a second, a person just as strong as her brother in the same room? That was a scary thought but at the same time it would be interesting. They would be equals in every sense of the word and hopefully wouldn’t’ scare each other. “Maybe we should, it might be good for them.” She said softly as she thought about her brother and hoped that he was all right and wasn’t causing anyone problems. When she heard Red talk about her brother she nodded, “I trust my brother completely and I know he would never fail me or at least try to fail me.” She said and then frowned a bit, “I wouldn’t’ all myself confident, just logical. It is easy to see things in black and white and that is what I do.” She said and wasn’t too sure if she was a confident person like he said.

She was about to answer his questions when they seemed to stop. Looking at him, she wondered if he was going to pass out again and readied herself to catch him if he fell towards her. Yet a second later he seemed to be doing okay and she nodded, “it seems something has caught her interest which means that she wont be moving for a while. Hopefully we can find her soon.” She said and wondered exactly how far away they were. If it was as far as he brother it would possibly take them a couple of days to get there even on Amadeus.

She then looked at him, “it is fine and I don’t have much to smile about.” She said as they started moving again. “My brother and I live no where. Dragons destroyed our home and we are the surviving members of that village. My brother was filled with rage after that and I just don’t feel anything. If I had to put the right words to it I would say that I feel empty.” She said as if it wasn’t really a big deal. “After that we headed off to the next village and lived off the streets. After living like that for a couple of years we then heard that the government was taking people. My brother knew if he joined he may kill some dragons so he joined, I followed. There isn’t’ much to say after that, here we are.” She said as she looked at him and wondered if that was enough information.

“We don’t live in the village close to town, we live wherever we chose to set up camp. We are forbidden to stay in the bunkers that the government has to offer after my brother got into a argument with another which nearly cost him his life.” She then looked up at him, “do you need more information or do you need more?” her life wasn’t exactly thrilling, it was dull and empty just like she was.

Poe

Poe smiled when he heard her laugh and watched as a pair of hydras ran through a village. There was nothing left behind. “Maybe I should poke them again tonight to make them cause a little more destruction.” He said as he thought aloud and then felt Thorn snuggle closer to him. Holding her close, he gently stroked her cheek and smiled, “I will personally bring something here for you to play with.” He said as he looked down at his lady. Watching her sleep, he ran his fingers through her hair and wondered what they should do now. Already things were getting destroyed but what should they provoke next? Smiling, he knew exactly which one and kissed Thorn gently, “how about if we bring some intelligence to this little chaos.” He said as he started to work on getting the griffins to attack. They were smart, but not as smart as humans, and if provoked you had to deal with there flock. Now he just had to figured out how to get them angry and also find a playmate for thorn.

Anna

Anna’s eyes narrowed as she glared at him now. Who did he think he was telling her what she could and couldn’t do. She clenched her hands hearing him starting to have dim view of him. She stopped eating as she stood having enough of him. Who was he to tell her what she should do. He acted like those men at the compound. Her eyes changed colors again as she readied herself to lunge at him. However a loud clash of thunder made her jump as she peered outside. It was starting to pour. She looked outside as she forgot about West her eyes fixed outside. She looked to the roof as it stared leaking. She looked to Fang happy to see he was dry. Though her eyes narrowed again staring at West. Her head snapped forward as she heard the hissing. It was another hydra. She turned as she heard more hissing there where a pair. The village didn’t seem close to any hydra nest however it had to be for these things to keep appearing. She kept quiet as she placed her finger over her lips facing West. The pair of Hydra where on each side of the house. Her eyes widen a she heard the voices coming behind the monsters. The Hydra quickly turned as they screamed in pain. She slowly peered out from one of the charged holes in the wall.

There she saw the governments tactical team she saw over two teams that where leading the hydra here. “Why would they lead these monsters here?” She said out loud as the men kept their ground looking for something to appear. She wrapped her hands around her mouth as she watched one of the hydra attack three of the members taking them out almost instantly. The tables had turned and now the favor was in the hydras as they quickly took action. The smell of blood became strong as the screams filled the air. She watched as the men tried to link with the hydra. She shook her head not believing what she was seeing. She closed her eyes as the linking failed the Hydra killing the man. She stared at the Hydra holding her hand out as her eyes shown again. The Hydra screamed out as she Linked with it the Hydra becoming docile. The Hydra turned protecting the men from the other hydra. She knew she was to weak to Link with the other hydra.

Red EYE

Red eye felt bad hearing Gaby. To be empty was never ok. He looked up as he saw a storm staring to roll in. They moved quickly following along the coast line as he looked seeing hydra returning to their nest. They where to far out for him to do anything. He felt bad as he saw the path of destruction. What had made the hydra leave their nest he wondered as he leaped from Amadeus walking to where a village had been. He hung his head as he saw nothing left. He looked around taking in the sight. The village had no chance the paths where clear as day where the monsters swept through. There was no signs of life only death. He looked back to where the Hydra had been heading back. He wanted to get a look at their nest. Something had stirred them. This village had been here for years and the hydra had never attacked. Why did they attack today.

“Someone is causing these attacks. I just need proof to take back to the President. This village all of them along the coast have lived here for as long as I can remember. The hydra have never attacked any of them without reason. Look around this was a attack on their next. This wasn’t rouge hydra this was a assault by the entire nest. “ He said as he shook his head. “This doesn’t add up this is just another planned attack. I keep tell the President and the others it is planned. They keep laughing. I’m surprised the tactical teams aren’t here trying to link with the hydra. “ He said as he hung his head at the sight. “They keep trying to link using samples from Anna and I to make potions. None of them have worked but it doesn’t stop the labs from trying. If the potions fail it will end in death.” He said having seen it first hand many times.

He looked to Gaby as he shook his head. “ We need to get out of here. The Hydra will be returning to their nest.” He said as he looked around once more. “ Some one is doing this and I’m getting tired of it.” He said as he climbed onto Amadeus again.

West

West could see that he had pissed her off and was just about ready for her to attack him. Slowly he moved his hand to his side where his daggers were. If she tried moving he would make it clear to her that he wasn’t someone to mess with. He had been in enough fights to know that she looked like she would be tough which was nice for a change. All the others at the compound didn’t want to fight him or spar anymore, too afraid to be hurt. But a fight wasn’t a fight if you didn’t’ get hurt.

Just as he was about to pull out his dagger he heard the hissing and growling. Nodding as Anna pressed her finger to her lips, he peered out to see the stupid tactical team trying to play with Hydras. That was like giving a little child a lit match and telling they could touch it, not a good idea and you were sure to burn. So when he watched the hydras turn on them he chuckled, “deserved it.” He said and then watched with surprise as the one started protecting the other. Turning to Anna he smirked, “so you really can link with anything, but I have my own way of doing things.”

With that he got to his feet and ran out of there with no fear. Charging at the rampaging beat he lunged at it just as it tried to bite him. Grabbing ahold of its head, he held on as it thrashed about trying to get him off. West looked crazy for doing this without a second though. When the beat moved to hit its head against the ground West then moved. Jumping up, the hydra stopped for a second wondering if it had gotten him off. West then came crashing down on its head, making it hit its head on the ground. A cloud of dust appeared and when it cleared you saw West standing on the Hydras nose and staring it in the eyes, “be nice or else I kill you, got that.” He said and the hydra seemed to just stare at him, now completely docile. Who needed linking tech when you could just use force?

Gaby

Gaby said nothing as she watched the village come into view. As they got closer she found memories of her own village coming to her. It didn’t hurt, it just made her very depressed. The village was just like her own, the only difference was that there was no survivor here. Slowly sliding off of Amadeus, she walked around the village as she touched things and remembered her own village. When she came to the remains of a stuffed animal she reached down and picked it up. It was almost complete, just missing an arm. Holding it close, she decided to take it back with her so that she could remember a village that others may not.

Hearing Red he nodded “lets go.” She said and slowly climbed up onto Amadeus, “we just need to figure out the reason of why someone would be doing these planned attacks. What grudge do they have on the villages or us? And how do they have so much influence when it comes to beasts? But I will agree, this is planned, if it was a regular attack the hydras would have just kept to the coast and not come inland like they have.” She said as she looked down at the toy. Wiping away some of the dirt from its face she wondered why anyone would want to destroy a village completely. Why would someone wish for this must destruction and sadness?

Poe

Poe thought of what to do as he looked down at Thorn. He didn’t dare move for he didn’t want to wake her up or leave her side. Being away from her when she was defenseless always made him nervous. Closing his eyes, he searched with his link towards the creatures that were around them. After a while he found the flock of Griffins he was looking for. Once he was connected with the one he started to feed it information. He told them of how humans were starting to come into there territory and take it for there own purpose. That was all he had to stay. The griffin was in a uproar and that meant every member of its flock would be. Opening his eyes, he looked down at thorn and kissed her cheek gently, “a little more chaos shall happed but not for a couple more hours. The griffins are preparing for battle.” He said softly to her as she slept. Gently stroking her hair he smiled, once the griffins started to fight they would join in, maybe that would be a little fun for them.

Anna

Anna flew from the house as she sent West flying through the air. She lost her temper seeing how he acted. He had rubbed her the wrong way. Her own Hydra cowing down as it headed back the way it had come helping the other. Anna had ordered hers back to the nest. Her attention was on West she had enough of him. She ran as fast she could leaping in the air as she slammed her feast hard into his abdomen sending them crashing to the ground. He needed to learn respect and someone needed to take him down a notch. His arrogance had rubbed her the wrong way. She jumped back as she pulled out her own sword her eyes showed a beautiful blue as she let out a battle cry. She slammed her sword into the ground as it sent out a blast throwing West into the air cutting him as it did. She leaped in the air as she readied herself for his attack. He wanted a fight so be it.

Red Eye
Red Eye nodded as he gave Amadeus the command sending him running again. He kept his mind on the attack as he only nodded to her. He looked around as he changed course heading inland as he followed the river. "We need to rest. I can't push Amadeus anymore. We where out last night fighting off attacks." He said as he jumped from Amadeus as the the large beast followed Red eye to the small caved near the water. He sniffed and found it vacant and walked inside slowly laying down as he quickly drifted off to sleep tired from the fighting he had done the night before. Red Eye looked around the area as he walked to the water and held out his had as he pulled fish from the water and threw out a fire ball cooking it in mid air catching it. He grabbed some large leaves placing the fish on it as he took a seat on a large rock taking half of the fish for himself and leaving the other for Gaby.

West

West looked down at the hydra and slowly climbed off its head. Patting its head, he let out a slight smile and for a second you could see the kid that had loved every kind of creature you could imagine, "go ahead back." he said and was about to head back to the house when he was sent flying back. He was about to get up when he felt himself being blown back more and the familiar sting of his flesh being cut. Falling towards the ground he quickly spun and landed on his feet. Glaring at the girl, he pulled out both his daggers, "bitch" and with that he charged at her, his eyes seeming to be on fire. As he got closer he started and seemed as if he was dancing, but each move was aimed towards her vitals. ONe second you could think that he was going to take out your leg but the next the dagger was at your arm. You could see now why no one wanted to practice with him, he fought to kill and was ready for it. Slowly he started to move faster and could tell his daggers were starting to touch her skin. He wanted to kill her, she had been nothing but a pain to him and all he had been doing was try to help. Yet as his thoughts told him to kill something nagged at him.

Abrupty he stopped himself as Gabys words ran in his head, Fight only if you have too and don't you dare kill. Remember, breath. Taking a deep breath, he forced himself to calm down but as he looked at Anna he couldn't' help but glare at her, "If you have a problem with me just say it. I would rather not have to kill you." he said and you could tell it took a lot of restraint for him to say that and not attack. Taking another deep breath, he closed his eyes, "if your angry about the hydra deal with it. I would do what I did all over again." he said as he thought back to the hydra. He had been sure it would have tried killing its friend in its rage. It would be better for it and anyone else to hate him for hurting it then for it to kill its friend.

Gaby

Gaby nodded when she heard Red, "find a place and we can set up camp." she said as she got off Amadeus as well. Following them over to the cave, she watched as Amadeus went to sleep right away. Reaching out, she patted its head before settling herself down on the ground. Pulling out a small box from her coat pocket, she opened it to find her sewing kit and went to work on repairing the stuffed bear. After a few moments it was patched up but still missing its arm. Letting herself smile, he hugged it close before setting it down next to Amadeus and then headed over to Red. "thanks for the fish." she said as she picked it up and started eating it. It tasted good and kind of reminded her of how her brother use to cook for them when they had lived on the streets. No seasoning, no salt, or anything. It was just fish cooked, which in her opinion was the best way to have fish.

Anna

Anna didn't take well to his little show. He was a fool to think his little dance was impressive. Without thinking she quickly smacked him with the flat side of her blade sending him flying again. The blade glowed slightly as it started to pules. She pointed it down as the hilt twisted the blade turning color as she readied it for battle. She glared at West her eyes locked on him as she looked ready to strike. She let out a scream as Fang appeared once again. The dragon glared at her this time not allowing her to move. The dragon snatched her sword as it moved quickly heading to the house. This antic gave Anna no choice but to follow the beast. She followed the dragon from the rain into the house where the dragon guarded the sword. She glared at the dragon who growled at her puffing it's chest up looking intimidating daring her to reach for it. The dragon showed it's teeth as it growled deeply at her. She hung her head as she rolled her eyes. She turned as she walked back into the rain as it moved away from her. It looked like she had her own invisible bubble as the water rolled off of it pooling around her.

She walked to where she had thrown West and held out her hand as she healed him fully. She looked at him her eyes the bright blue they had been before. " You need discipline not just raw power. You left your right side weak in your poor display. I don't like you and find your style annoying. You don't know me so don't act like you do. I have lived without you up till now. I'm nothing to you so don't interject your opinions on me. I will leave as soon as I can and when I do don't follow me. I would rather die than be stuck with you every again." She said coldly as she lifted in the air pulling West with her. She threw him into the house as she joined him glaring at the dragon. "If you weren't my fathers dragon I'd kill you for interfering with me. You win you damn lizard." She said as she sat down next to West. It was the only area that was dry. She closed her eyes as she calmed herself. She hated to admit it but she needed rest right now. As soon as she was able she would leave.

Red Eye

He looked at Gaby as he watched her with the bear. "Your friend is missing a arm. I guess we will have to fix that." He said as he watched her eat. "I'm glad you like it. I will go see if I can find something to make a bed out of." He said standing as he ventured out. He walked around gathering large leaves. It took him well over a hour to gather enough leaves to make a nice thick blanket for them. He walked back clearing the area around Amadeus placing the leaves down ten layers think to make sure they didn't get wet from the soil. He looked up as he saw a storm rolling in. "If your hungry I will fix a few more fish. However we need to stay inside a storm looks like it is rolling in." He said wondering how long they had before it hit.

West

West had thought he had been doing well with his anger and hoped for the best but instead he had been sent flying for his show of restraint. He just laid there for a while as pain and anger filled him. The girl clearly didn't like him and he had the same feeling. If he hadn't of stopped he would have showed her more of his power. He had honestly waited for her to strike him down but the little dragon again saved him. He was defiantly becoming indebted to him. Though when she save over and without a word took him inside after healing him he felt the anger hit him full force. The moment she settled down next to him he moved. Grabbing her neck he pinned her to the ground and glared at her in the face.

"listen well you piece of shit. I am helping you because I WANTED to. I could have left you there to die. I could have left that Hydra pulled apart its friend because you were too weak to link to both of them. I could even kill you right now if I wanted too." HIs hand tightening on her neck and it was clear that he was completely serious and the want was clear. Before he was fighting, this was killing, two different things. "All I am doing is trying to help in my own way. Not everyone can link like you or have your damn powers." He said as he stared into her eyes, "now I will suggest things to you, try to help, but if you disregard them then have fun dying and letting others die." and with that threw her to the ground. Marching over to the a wet corner he set down and pulled his hood up. He would rather be wet then have to spend his time with a girl. "and I would never follow you around like some idiot. I would like to live a long life if you don't mind." he said as he leaned back against the wall and closed his eyes. Why did he have to get stuck with a stubborn, idiotic girl like her? Why didn't he just let her die?

Gaby

Gaby shook her head, "if we fully repaired it then it would lose its meaning. Having it like this, broken and missing will help me remember of where it came from." she said as she looked at him. Normally she would just sleep on the ground, it wasn't that bad. But before she could stop him Red was already making a bed for them. Getting up, she started helping him carry the leaves and build the bed. Hearing him, she nodded, "I wouldn't mind some more." though then he said storm she looked outside. Without a seconds thought she walked outside and closed her eyes, listening. "5…4….3…2…1" right when she said that it started to drizzle and looking up she opened her eyes as it started to pour on them. Standing in the rain she slowly started smiling and took a deep breath. She wasn't sure what it was but whenever it started raining she couldn't' help but stand in it, it just felt nice. HOlding out her arms, she let the rain completely some her down to the bone before she walked back into the save, still smiling. "its raining now." she said as she looked at him.

Anna

Anna said nothing as she let him rant. He was wrong he couldn't kill her no man could. Others had tried she welcomed him to do so. She got up once he was done and picked up up her sword leaving the dragon there. She headed out of the house not caring about anything. She walked past the river and headed up in the mountains. She kept close to the treeline as she moved. Her mind focused on West. No one had ever grabbed her throat why didn't she kill him. He had the same spark in him she had she thought as she walked. She looked up as the rain turned into a soft snow the higher she walked. She loved snow it made her feel happy. She took a seat in the clearing at the base of the mountain as the snow started to stick to the ground. She forgot about West and even Fang as she just found happiness. The blanket of white made everything look like a magical world. She slowly reached out as she tried to catch a few of the snow flakes. Anna forgot about everything as she just found joy in the snow.

Fang looked up as he hung his head looking to West. He looked to the door and then to West trying to get him to go after Anna. He gave up as he knew Anna would have to come back. He looked at then turned as he let out a low growl hearing a foot steps just outside of the house. He raised up trying to look threatening he growled loudly as a brawny man popped his head in. He laughed seeing Fang. "Howdy there, I'm here to fix the house. Looks like another war zone here. Hold on I'll have this fixed up. " The man said he turned as and left. Fang ran to the door way as he growled wanting the man to fear him not laugh at him. He growled as the room shook. He glared up as he heard hammering after a while the leaking stopped. Fang growled loudly as the holes in the walls vanished. The house was sound and safe again. Fang just glared at the man who popped in again. " Sorry need it to be a dry day to really fix the place but this will hold for a month or two. Let us know if you need anything." He said as he vanished leaving them there. Fang grabbed a blanket and drug it over to West. He gently laid it across him. He turned as he walked to the door shaking his head knowing Anna was going to be a heard head. He stared out as he let out a call calling for her. It was time for her to make nice and come home.

Anna heard Fang she could feel his wishes. She rolled her eyes as she looked around at the snow. She slowly got up and she headed back to the village. She shuttered as she noticed the snow followed her the temperature outside dropping. She hadn't seen the weather drop so fast before. She wrapped her arms around herself as she tired to keep warm.

Red Eye

Red eye watched Gaby as he smiled hearing her. He slowly walked out of the cave as he felt the cool rain. He picked up a stick making sure it was sharp he walked to the water as he threw it into the river. He pulled out two large fish stabbed through them. He walked inside of the cave as he thew a fireball at the fish cooking them again. He looked to Gaby as he held the stick out to her. " Here please enjoy." He said as he looked around the cave. The cave was peaceful it made him think of his room on the compound. He looked around as he took a seat on the bed against Amadeus. He hung his head as he thought about a fire. He had forgot to get some wood so now they would be without a fire for the night. He smiled as he felt Amadeus in his sleep nuzzled him. They did have the large beast to give them some body heat. He was rather embarrassed he was acting like a newbie who had never been in the field. He closed his eyes as he tried to rest knowing he would need it. "You will need some rest go ahead and sleep I'll take first watch." He said as he sat there opening his eyes.

West

West watched her go and wait nothing, it was better this way. Yet when he saw that Fang wasn't following her he guessed that he would have to deal with her again. At least he had some peace and quiet for a little while now. Or at least that was what he thought till a man came over and started to work on the house. But after a few moments the house wasn't leaking and he shook his head getting the rain out of it. Hearing the little dragon growl at the man he chuckled, "wait until your a bit older to challenge others, then you will be a force to be reckoned with." he said as he got up and started taking off his coat. The rain had soaked it and if she ws coming back she was probably going to be soaked as well. Looking around the house he picked up a few of the broken boards and piled it onto of a mound of dirt that had gotten into the house. Digging into his pockets he pulled out a flit and went to work lighting it, "never leave home without this. I would rather like to forget cold nights." he said as he remembered huddling together with Gaby trying to keep her warm when they lived on the streets. It hadn't been great or good, but she had never complained since they knew he couldn't' do much else for her.

"hey, you hungry?" he asked as he looked at the little dragon and decided that he might as well treat it right. He had protected him a couple of times. Digging into his coat pocket he pulled out some food that he had brought himself. Opening it up you saw that it was some cheese, bread, and what looked like steak, "I'm not sure when the last time you ate was but you better eat. A baby like yourself it suppose to eat more then 3 times a day." he said, clearly knowing a lot about dragons. Sticking the steak on the end of the stick he placed it over the fire to cook. "and Hydra meat isn't that great for a growing boy. It is tough and tasteless." he said as he started moving around. Taking his jacket he hung it close to the fire and let it dry out. When he saw the little dragon call out into the rain he smirked and gently picked up the little dragon. "come on, I am sure that she is fine, getting sick yes but not in any danger." he said as he sat down in front of the fire and set the dragon down next to him. Pulling the steak off the fire, he set it down in front of the little dragon to eat, "go ahead, I will take the bread and cheese." he said and you could see the care he had for the dragon. It would be clear to anyone that he use to care about dragons deeply.

Turning when he heard footsteps, he saw that it started snowing outside and that Anna looked cold coming back. "see, told you she is trying to get herself sick." he said as he grabbed his coat and was glad that it was dry and warm now. "see, you are a idiot." he said as he threw the coat at her, "now I suggest you get inside, we have food and a fire going." he said as he settled himself down besides Fang again before biting into his bread.

Gaby

Gaby found herself chuckling for the first time as she watched him head out into the rain after her. When he came back with the fish she took it and nodded a thanks to him. "thank you." she said as she dug into the fish and enjoyed it. Once she was done she set the remains down on the ground before settling on the bed next to Red. Without a seconds though she curled up on the bed and moved closer to Red. "this reminds me of sleeping on the streets with my brother, cold but warm." she said softly as she closed her eyes and moved even closer to Red, nearly pressing herself completely against him. IN her opinion this was actually nice, sure it was cold but cold mean you got to be close to other people who were nice.

Fang

Fang smiled as much as he could he lessened to West. He had been right there was a nice guy in him. He tore into the meat loving the taste. He saved West some making sure not to touch that piece with his mouth or claws. He looked up as he saw Anna. He was happy as she sat down near him and West. He looked to West as he tried to give the small piece of steak back to him. He turned as he crawled into Anna's lap as he linked with her. Her face soften as she reached down and gathered him in her arms softly kisses him on the forehead. It was easy to see the love the two shared for one another. Fang looked lovingly at Anna as she got up and went through the supplies Mrs. Sugar Plum had gotten them. Fang curled up on her shoulders as she gathered him some more meat. She took it back placing it down for him happy to see how much meat they had. However she knew it wouldn't last long with Fang. She gently put Fang on the ground and let him feast on the meat she placed there for him.

Anna grabbed the bread, jam, cheese, and fruit she had been eating on earlier. She picked up a bottle of wine and brought it over to her seat near west. Fang ate happily between the two of them. She pulled out a small flask for herself and poured some of the wine into it then gently passed the bottled to West. She sat there in silence as she thought about the Kindness West had shown Fang. She nibbled at the bread as she thought popping a few grapes into her mouth in between nibbles. She looked over at West after a while. "Thank you, I thought you hated dragons. Fang said you were a nice person. I'm sorry for my actions. For once Fang was right. I shouldn't have judged you harshly as if you where one of them. " She said meaning he wasn't like the government officers she had known. Her eyes shifted to the dragon who devoured the meat and curled up happily between the two of them drifting off to sleep. "What was your dragons like. " She said having seen everything West said and done viva her link with Fang. "The hydra meat had been for selling however he got hungry first. Tomorrow I'll go get more meat from Mrs. Sugar Plum for all of us. As you said I can't go anywhere. " She said as she thought about her family. She sat there with her knees up against her chest as she rested her chin on them. Her eyes shifted again to Fang as she softly stroked him lovingly.

" I dislike the government because it was them that awoken the great monster that did all the damage to multiple villages and town. The half dragon half reptile lizard monster. My dragons my family stood no chance against it. The only thing I have left is Fang. Our mothers gave their lives protecting the last of the eggs. The other eggs didn't make it. They where to badly damaged. Some how this little guy did. The night of the attack a tactical team has went to the monsters layer they had tried linking with it. We all know how well that went. I know the tried to link with it because I found their dog tags embedded in it's teeth. As well as uniform shreds. The monster was one of their creations anyhow. " She said as she pulled out the dog tags from her bag and the tattered jacket. She pulled out the battered metal tech as she placed them on the ground.
" Most people thought it was a dragon that attacked their village it wasn't. It was that monster. My father had got close enough to swipe off this tech. The rest of the tech is embedded in the monster it's self. I don't understand why they felt they could link with it. They didn't have the other half of the tech. " She said as the horrific memories came back to her. She could smell the chard flesh the smell of death. "Nothing was left. I should have paid more attention to my studies and lessen more to my father. He trained me night and day and I was ungrateful. I just wanted to be a normal girl. I wanted to dance and sing not fight monsters. He told me when I was three it was not my fate to be normal. It was my fate to join him and the rest of the men in our family. My mother I think didn't like it. My memories are starting to fade. I guess that is what time does. However the memories of that night never will. I still smell the burning flesh and the smell of death. " She said as she laughed as Fang climbed up on her curling up against her chest as she held him. She smiled knowing that was enough talk about the past.

Red Eye

Red Eye looked as he watched Gaby. He smiled as she pressed herself against him. He gently removed his coat putting it around her as he picked her up and held her against his chest. It would give them both more body heat and he would be a little more comfortable than the leaf bed. He smiled happy he had picked her up as fang curled around them engulfing them with his own body heat. Red Eye couldn't help but smile as he kept a eye out for them. Today had been a strange day for all of them. Some how he gained a partner and now he was chasing after the one person he had wanted since he met her. He looked down at Gaby and smiled just happy to know she was safe. This was a new experience for him and Amadeus though Amadeus seemed to act as if he knew Gaby all his life. He had never met someone that Amadeus genuinely liked.

He held out his hand freeing it from Gaby and his jacket as he burned the left overs from her meal. The last thing they needed was to attract attention from predators. With all the monsters roaming with no one to link with it was a high possibility one would find them if he didn't dispose of the remains. He could handle himself in battle he honestly just didn't feel like it. After battling day in and out battling just got to be a pain. He wanted to just have a restful night for once. He had to admit this was a delightful change getting to rest here with Gaby.

West

West smirked when he saw that fang didn't eat all of it and was about to insist that he eat it but when he saw that they had more he nodded a thanks to the dragon. Taking it, he ate it happily and then watched Anna. She was kind of nice compared to before, almost completely different. When she handed him the wine bottle he took it and drank from it. Leaning back against the wall he was surprised to not hear her yell at him and instead just talk to him. "I do or at least I hate some of them." he said as he thought back to his village and everything that had happened. He suppose that he couldn't' judge all dragons on what just those did. So far it seemed Fang was a pretty good dragon in his opinion, young and foolish at times but good.

"I don't have one." he said as he looked at her and then a fang. "My village use to be next to a dragon nest and I was always fascinated with them. I would watch them from afar and study them. I even named all the babies that hatched and watched as the mothers took care of them. Since my village saw my attachment to them they decided that I would be the first in the village to start living with them. They even marked me as the first to do." He said as he pulled up his sleeve. On his shoulder there was what looked like the paw mark of a dragon on him. Letting his sleeve drop, he looked over at Fang and wondered what would have happened if he did have a dragon at his side. Sighing, he figured that wouldn't happen. "but none of that happened. A week before I was to have a dragon choose me and start to live with them my village was destroyed. My parents managed to protect me and my sister but we were the only ones to survive." he said as he thought back to that day.

"I will agree that the government does stupid things but they are the ones that have ensured that my sister and I haven't died. After my village was destroyed we had no where to go and they offered out a hand to us. I couldn't turn down a warm home and food." He said as he remembered those days on the streets. They had been harsh and he was glad that his sister had been a trooper and not complained. She hadn't complained when they were pushed around, or kicked, or yelled at. She just stayed by his side and helped him when they stole, ran, and fought to stay alive. She had been there for him in ways that he wished he had been for her. But he had been filled with anger and had barely thought half the time when they had been young. He was pretty sure that the only reason either of them were able to live because of the other.

He then heard her about the monster and thought back to it. He couldn't' remember what it had looked like, all he remembered was hearing its roar from the bottom of the well. Leaning back as he took another swig of the wine, he then sighed, "I am not sure if I hate dragons now." he said as he looked over at Fang and remembered all the dragons he use to watch when he was little. They had gradually started thinking of him as one of them and they allowed him to play with them. It had been wonderful. "and it sounds like both of us have had our homes taken from us in a very unfair world. But at least we have some remains of a family after all of that. Being alone is worse then anything else." he said as he thought about what would have happened to him if he hadn't had Gaby at his side. He was sure that he would never had gotten anywhere in life and probably been dead on a street somewhere or died in a fight.

Gaby

Gaby was very content next to Red but after a couple of hours she woke up. "Brother, your shift is over." she said as she rubbed her eyes, still waking up. When she realized that it was her brother she frowned a little bit, "sorry Red." she said pulled herself away from him. She had never been that close to anyone besides her brother it felt… weird? She wasn't sure, but she did know that it had been nice. Though she did wonder why she felt so warm. She was use to waking up in cold and the only warm part of her being the parts that had been close to West, the same should apply here. Looking around, she saw that Amadeus had curled himself around them. Reaching out, she gently petted the beast and then looked to Red, "your shift is over, go to sleep and in the morning we can continue our search." she said as she waited for him to sleep. Sleep was important and she would force him to sleep if she had too. It wouldn't be the first time that she had forced someone to go to sleep before.

Anna

Anna lessen to him as she slowly drifted of to sleep falling over her head landing inches away from West. Fang moved slightly curling up on her back as she slept on her stomach. The pair starting to breath in and out together. Fang spread out his wings covering more of Anna in his sleep knowing she was slightly cold. The pair looked at peace as they slept. It was the first time they had put their guard down and really slept. Normally they only got a hour or two on their journey. They slept happily not caring if anymore monsters came. For once they where safe to sleep.

Red Eye

Red Eye simple looked at Gaby as she woke. He gave her a nod knowing she missed her brother. "We will be with him soon. So you want have to wake up with a complete stranger." He said in a kind voice as he turned over pressing himself against Amadeus as he laid on the bed. He closed his eyes as he fell asleep. He was out rather fast use to grabbing as much sleep as he could. He hoped he might get some good sleep without being woke by a monster attacking. It felt good to lay down after all the fighting they had done the night before. No wonder Amadeus refused to wake up. He could get use to resting like this if he was allowed to. He let go of his worries as he started dreaming his dream interweaving with Amadeus as they dreamed together.

West

West watched as Anna fell asleep, literally, and couldn't' help but laugh as he watched the two. Taking his coat, he layed it over her and then leaned up against the wall. Sticking some more wood on the fire he started to hum softly. It was the lullaby his parents use to sing to Gaby and him when they were back at the village. He use to do it out of comfort for Gaby when they were on the road together but gradually he just did it out of habit. Looking outside, he continued to hum and felt a little at peace for once. Usually he felt anger but after everything that had happened there was no anger in him. The dragon was nice. The girl was nice. The village was nice. Sighing, he closed his eyes and stayed alert as he hummed into the night.

Gaby

Gaby listned to him, "don't feel offended, I am just use to waking up to my brother is all." she said and found herself watching him as he curled up on his side, "and your not a stranger, your my partner." she said simply as if knowing a guy for half a day was enough for her. Watching him as he fell asleep, she moved closer to him out of habit from being with her brother. She couldn't' help but smile slightly as she watched the two seem to twitch at the same time. Was that from being linked? She wondered what it would be like to be close to a animal like Red and this Anna was. Her brother had been the one good with dragons and so had she till that day. After that she just felt so disconnected to everything. Looking outside, she wondered if she could link like Red or Anna could one day. Would she feel connected then?

Anna

Anna slowly woke as the sun graced the horizon. She looked around as she watched Fang tearing into the meat they had. She smiled as her eyes widen seeing how big he had grown overnight. He was reaching teen age size rapidly. He was now her size and she could no longer carry him if she wonted to. She gazed at him in wonder as she slowly got up, looking down as she felt something fall at her feet. She picked up the jacket as she walked to where West had fallen asleep and gently placed it on him. She was happy he was resting after the day they had. Her attention shifted back to Fang as she examined him with her eyes slowing moving to where he was running her fingers along his body. She noticed the scales where larger now their thickness starting to harden. She was happy he was healthy and growing however she wished he stayed her little dragon a while longer. In all honesty she didn't want him to ever grow to a full adult. She didn't want to see him die like the others. She feared if he got bigger the more monsters they would be forced to fight. The more attention would be drawn to them and the monster could wake again or something worst.

She smiled and laughed as Fang showed off for her his wings even larger than they had been. He was starting to look like a dragon his horns coming in. She could only smile and laughed watching him showing off his new form. However the joy she felt was cut shorts as she turned hearing strange screams. She jumped as she ran to the door steeping out as she looked to the sky. Fang followed close behind her as they stared in wonder wondering what was the source of the noise. The pair stared in horror as they saw a large flock of Griffins headed right for them. They looked to one another as they tried to figure out the best method to deal with the problem at had. They had never seen a flock as big as this one. Linking was not a option at this point. There where so many if she did she would pay dearly for it. "West!!!!! " She yelled as she turned hearing a roar. Her head hurt as she saw a strange man approach her. She froze as he hugged her his embrace making her remember him instantly. "Convergence." She said as she gazed at him. She froze hearing his request.

Red Eye
Red Eye jumped awake as Amadeus let out a mighty roar. He rose to his feet almost instantly as he heard the screams. Amadeus growled lowly as Red eye ran out of the cave Amadeus right behind him peering up in the sky. He stared at the massive flock of Griffin in shock as he tried to figure out what the next step should be. He jumped onto Amadeus reaching down for Gaby. " We need to go help whoever is in the way of that flock. They are going in the direction we need to be anyhow. " He said pulling her onto Amadeus not waiting for her. They where off in a flash reaching top speed in a matter of moments. It seemed like only seconds they where at the small town with the large tree. Red eye grabbed his chest as he felt the pain again. "Anna." He whispered as Amadeus bolted off following a sent of some short.

He looked up as he the blond haired girl that haunted his dreams. He leaped forward grabbing Anna and pushing her to the ground as a Griffin dived bombed at her. He held out his hand as he summoned a blast of lighting sending the beast back to the sky in pain. He looked to Amadeus who let out a mighty roar as his body glowed blue. Storm clouds began to gather as lighting struck around the village making a protective barrier of shorts for the moment. Amadeus focused the lighting strikes pushing the Griffins back for a moment while Red Eye looked to Anna slowly helping her up. He wrapped his arms around her as he hugged her. He released her as he noticed the dragon glaring at him. The black dragon let out a low growl letting him know Anna was his and to remove his hands if he wanted to keep them. He looked back to the flock looking to Anna. " Lets Link together Anna. We did it before we can do it again. Please Anna trust me. " He said as he held out his hand to her. He watched as Anna stared at him blankly not wanting to link. " Anna we can fight later! Someone is making these monsters attack. They have to be doing a form of Linking. If we can Link with enough of these beast we can save them and the town. Don't act scared now. You linked with a hundred monsters at once before. I'll share the burden but lets do this now. " He yelled at her seeing her hesitate.

He closed his eyes as he heard the flock breaking through the lighting strikes. He looked up at them. "I'm sorry Anna. " He said as he pulled out his Scythe quickly charging it leaning forward slashing Anna with it sending her to the ground. The Dragon let out a loud growl as it raced to attack him. He stepped aside letting it crash into the door of the house. He looked up as he saw Anna enraged and ready to kill him. He smiled as he grinned and laughed. "That's more like it. Now lets deal with the problem. " He said as he leaped in the air smacking as man as he could with the blunt side of his Scythe not wanting to truly hurt them. He looked down as he noticed he was floating in mid air. He saw Anna hovering above the earth using her mental power to make a invisible barrier around the village. He watched has her hair stood on end as she starting linking with as many of the Griffin she could at once. He stopped fighting with Anna's barrier up he focused on Linking as well.

Red Eye let out a scream as he heard Anna echoing him as she was reaching the max of her power. She was acting as their shield and trying to Link. He watched as blood started to trickle out of her nose her body close to shutting down from the strain. He looked to Gaby hoping she could help. " There are only Ten left. Anna and I have linked with the others. Please one of the other ten is the leader. If you find him you can stop the attack. Please Gaby!!!" He said as he turned focusing all his attention to holding the links he had made with Anna.

Gaby

Gaby woke up when he heard a growl and before she could ask anything they were moving. When she caught a glimpse of the flock of griffins she woke up fully and pulled out her whip. She was ready for a fight though when they came to her brother and a strange girl she found herself forgetting about the fight. Running over to her brother she hugged him quickly before looking over to Red. She was about to say they needed a plan but he was already ahead of her. He was talking with the girl that her brother had been with, she guessed it was the one they called Anna. She was going to say they could take them all down when a wave of power washed over her.

Watching as the flock calmed down, she stared at Red and Anna. She had never seen anyone this powerful before but she had to admit that it was both exciting and terrifying to watch. She was so on shock that she almost missed when Red said to her. Nodding, she looked towards the ten that were still free and pulled out her whips and readied the chains at her side. Walking forward she called back to her brother, "I will get there attention and restrain a few, once we find the one that isn't attacking that should be the leader. You now what to do then." she called out as she pulled down the first griffin and started to bind it with the chains at her side.

By the time that she was on her 3rd griffin the others were starting to catch on and were watching her carefully. When one cave a cry, the others moved and dove towards her together as it stood back. "That is the one, GO.' she called as she dodged the diving griffins and smirked. No griffin could defeat her brother and once it was knocked out the other griffins seemed to be confused or at least they didn't' know what to do. Slowly letting them go, she patted each one that she let go and was glad that she didn't' hurt them all.

Heading over towards Red, she looked him over, "did you sustain any damage? is anything broken? any intern damage?" She asked as she looked him over. Usually she only asked her brother these questions but for sone odd reason she felt like she needed to ask him. Was it worry? Could she worry about someone? that was odd, she normally hardly worried about anyone, what did that mean? She wasn't' sure but she wanted to make sure that Red was okay.

West

West jumped to his feet when he heard Anna yell at him and when he heard the roar he pulled his swords out, ready for a fight. He just about nearly attacked Amadeus till he saw his sister was ridding it. When she came over and hugged him, he hugged her back. "what is going on?" he asked though when he followed everyones eyes to the griffin flock eh cursed and readied his blades. If they were looking for a fight he would give it to them. If it was the 4 of them he had a feeling that they would be able to defeat a horde this big in little to no time. But before he could charge forward he felt a surge of power and looked towards Anna and the man that Gaby came with.

When he saw how much power that was coming form them he slowly lowered his blade and just stared. For once in his life he wondered if he really could take down everything. The power that he felt come off of them was amazing and made him want to fight Anna. Maybe he could defeat her or not, but he wanted to try. Yet when he saw the blood start to run down her nose he frowned. Did this much power come with a cost? he was pretty sure it had too because by the looks of it even with all this power they couldn't' hold off everything and it hurt them to do it. He just hoped that Anna would be okay, if she wasn't he knew that Fang would be in a uproar.

Hearing Gabys orders he nodded and turned towards the rest of the griffins. He knew first hand that if gaby was going to restrain something it was going to stay in one place, she had done that to him plenty of times. Though when they started to attack her and left the one open he smiled. Charging forward, he clipped it's wings with his words and as it fell he aimed for its vitals, but just as he was about to land on it he pointed his blades away and instead body slammed it. Griffins were smart but they were easy to trick. If they were tricked he didn't want to be a fault for killing a creature who didn't' know any better. Looking around, he put his blades away and smiled, things should be okay for now.

When he saw his little sister head over to the man he felt a little sad. She usually only saved that kind f treatment for him, what did it mean when she did it to someone else? he wasn't sure but he had a feeling he would have to watch the guy. Heading over to Anna, he watched her carefully, "are you going to fall over or are you okay?" he asked as he readied himself just incase she did fall over. He didn't' want her to hurt herself even more after all that. Thinking twice about it, he reached out and placed a hand on her to steady her a bit, "but you did a good job, never seen anything like that before." he said as he looked at her and hoped that made her feel a bit better.

Anna's eyes changed as they took a bright blue even brighter than they had been. Fang appeared as he let out a low growl at Red Eye. Anna slowly looked to West and smiled the blood vanishing just as the scares had before. Her eyes locked onto Red Eye as her hair stood on end she hovered high in the air as the mental shield vanished. She had a wicked grin on her face as she held out her hand as Red Eye went flying towards the river. Anna only stared as the griffins headed home. She had read his mind and knew what he wanted. "I am not some experiment!!!!! Over my dead body will I go back with you. You should really work on your mental blocks Convergence. You became their lap dog and what has it brought you? " She said as she moved her hand as Red Eye flew into the air screaming as a inadvisable force squeezed at his neck. He screamed as it grew tighter Anna simply threw her other hand, simply taming Amadeus as he bowed unable to break his link with Anna. Anna dropped both her hands as Red Eye fell to the ground. She flew to where he was as she gently touched the ground bending down beside him looking over him.

She placed her hands on him as she healed him completely and simple crouched down beside him. " You still can't touch me in skills. I expected more from you. " She said as she turned looking at Gaby. "So this Gaby your partner. The president wants me to come home. I wonder what torture he has in mind with me. We both know he can't kill me. They tried before and failed every time. You know in this form of myself I am immortal of shorts. They tried so many times. " She said looking to West as she smiled softly as Fang stood sniffing Amadeus trying to get the beast to play with him. However she looked back to Red Eye as she snapped her head back to West. "No!!! They are going to make him Link? Why? Aren't we two monsters enough for them. I wont let them touch him. No more pain. No more pain!!!"Her air fell as she hit the ground. A wave of physic energy left from her slightly giving everyone in the area a headache. She held her head as she screamed seeing the men again the pain and feeling the torture they put both her and Red Eye through.

Fang jumped as he shook his head making his way to Anna. He slowly pulled her away from Red Eye. Amadeus pulling Red eye away from Anna as the pair both seemed lost in their memories both suffering from reliving the pain. Anna cried as she open her eyes screaming at Red Eye. "Don't you touch me! Don't you ever Link with me again. I'll kill you!!!" She screamed at him as fang let out a growl baring his fangs fully as Amadeus did the same. Anna stared at him as she willed her sword stabbing him in his right shoulder. She withdrew her sword as she bolted she ran as fast as she could away from him. She finally stopped halfway in the forest on the other side as she heard Fang right behind her. She fell to the ground as she let the dragon take over her mind wanting all thoughts of Red and his own thoughts vanished from her mind. The only thing she could see was West and the pain that would come. She knew she couldn't let him go through what they did to her and Red.


Red Eye smiled at Gaby as he heard her concern for him. He found it rather refreshing none had cared before. "I am fine thank yo....." He couldn't finish his sentence as he found himself being hurled through the air. He screamed as he was lifted again something squeezing his throat. He looked at Anna as he realized his mistake. "No..ann" He tried to say as he felt himself falling. He slowly sat up as he lessened to her. She had fooled him and hadn't used her full power. Why had she fooled him. He realized she had been reading his mind and going through his thoughts instead of really trying. She had stayed in her normal form not accessing her true power. She had become so powerful without her other power. She had fooled him in more than one way. He turned pale white as he heard her. "Anna it isn't that bad. Maybe they wont torture him...." He was cut short as Anna sent images of the pain making hims scream. He was thankful Amadeus pulled him away the Link breaking as he heard Anna. He reached out for her as he felt the wall again. This time it was twice as strong. "Anna please..." He said as he tried to get up and walk to where she was. He saw tears stream from her eyes as looked to his shoulder feeling pain. His eyes shifted as he saw her sword embedded into it. He hadn't seen her throw it how had she? His thought was cut short as he hit the ground her sword pulling it's self from his shoulder as it returned to her side. He watched as she got up and bolted running as fast as she could further into the village away from him. He reached out with his hand for her. "Anna..." He said as he grabbed his wound holding it. Amadeus let out a growl as he tried to lick the back of the wound. Her sword had seared the wound just leaving him in pain. He hung his head as he felt the pain again. She ran from him like he was the enemy. "They will kill her if they catch her. Or do their best to. If they can't kill her again they will torture her. We have to take her back to the other teams wont take her back. If the catch her I can't protect her from the president and the labs. " He said as he held his shoulder looking to West. " Why does she accept you? She cared about you being tortured why? As long as we have you she will follow. This may work in our favor. We can use him to lure her." He said as he felt Amadeus still trying to lick at his wound worried about him. "She honestly would kill me. I thought she would forgive me." He said as he slowly stood still holding his shoulder. He looked to Amadeus as he hung his head. "If she wont do this the easy way will do it her way." He said as Amadeus turned reveling the large backpack that he had strapped to him.

Red Eye pulled out a metal looking ball. He placed it on the ground as a blue glow came from it. It quickly unraveled it's self transforming into a scorpion. It had a blue syrum running through it's body as it looked at Red snapping it's claws letting him know it was ready to go to work. He placed his hands on it's back as the scorpion glowed blue. A picture of Anna appeared on it's back as it turned using it's sensors running to where Anna had been. It walked around in a circle. It then ran off heading for Anna. " Not even that little monster of hers can stop the trackers. She didn't go far and she wont expect tech that advance. It wont give her time to defend herself. All we have to do is wait now." He said not happy with what he had done. He knew Anna would hate him for the rest of their lives for what he was going to do to her. He had no choice she had to come back. "When it finds her we leave and take her with us. She'll be unconscious. So we wont have to fight with her. "
