After a few moments the shop keeper came back out and smiled at Opal. “Hello Andrayah, I was just finishing packing up your clothes. Give me about ten minutes and I’ll have them ready for you.” With that she turned around and slipped back into the back room.
Once Susie was gone again she stepped closer to the counter. Opal was busy looking at some necklaces on a stand when she felt an oddly familiar presence enter the shop. Frowning she turned her head slightly and looked around the store. Not seeing anyone she shook her head and turned back. She could have swore she sensed another guardian enter. But maybe it was just wishful thinking on her part.
Opal was still looking at the necklaces when a woman stepped up to the case of jewelry next to the counter. Out of the corner of her eye she watched her closely for she looked oddly familiar. The woman was absolutely stunning, reminding her of someone and she still felt that familiar feeling.
Then it happened, a set of diamond earrings shimmered almost as if light was passing over them, but there was no light. A small gasp escaped Opal and her hand raised to her neck. “Diamond?” She whispered and took a few steps towards the guardian.
Smiling she came closer and looked in Diamond’s eyes. “It really is you, isn’t it?” A warm swirl of wind came from nowhere and wrapped around Diamond like a hug. Opal took in her friends appearance and smiled. “You just woke up didn’t you?” They would have to get her some clothes and shoes and then something to eat possibly.
