Hayley woke groggily and found herself lying on the glass covered ground, her arms bleeding. Hayley is not sure how long she has been passed out but by looking around at the building and people she realizes it must not have been very long. Suddenly she gasps, realizing that she had just dreamed the future again. Hayley looked up and saw a girl near her concentrating on something. "Another one with powers perhaps?" Hayley nods and shakily tries to stand up. Suddenly she topples over and hits the ground, crunching some glass on the ground and sending more slicing into her arms. Hayley looks down at her arms and sees the blood, both dry and still running from various cuts. Hayley tries to stand up again and this time she is successful. She lifts her arm to her mouth and licks away the blood. Then she looks over at the girl, observing her. Hayley walks over to the window and sees a girl and the crazy boy standing near the other side of the room, an exit door behind them. Suddenly the roof collapses.

Sodom darted towards a hallway, arms flailing around as he ran and his dark black trench coat flapping behind him like a billowing flag. ((Imagine Johnny Depp/Cptn. Jack Sparrow)) Unable to contain himself any longer, he began to chuckle to himself as he ran, the falling pieces of ceiling seeming to miss him as he ran. He looked back over his shoulder, seeing Shadow look at him curiously before following after and was unable to contain himself any longer. His chuckling grew in volume to a loud manic laugh of glee as he waited at the doorway for him to catch up a little. He didnt want to lose him. As he neared, Sodom winked at him and stepped into the doorway, comming face to face with two females unexpectedly. Both were bloodied, one carrying the other towards the door. With a courtly bow he held the door open for them, saying "Madam and Madam, i hope you have enjoyed your stay here, and please, tell all your friends about us! The valet will bring your car around in just a moment!"

As the two went through the doorway past him, his head down as he continued to bow, he murmered in a dark sinister tone, barely audible to them, "Ssssoooooo delicious! All that blood and living flesh!" As one turned to look at him, he looked up at her, looking straight into her eyes and winked, then cartwheeled away over the dead body of the attendant with a manic laugh, saying "Oops! Excuse me sir!" Gaining his feet again, he sprinted down the hallway, Shadow was nearly at the door and was catching him fast.

Hearing his expressions as he nearly bumped into the two, he called out as he ran "Did you like my illusion Shadow?" He didnt stop, merely turning right at the corner ahead and carrying on, heading for the rooftop. As he headed down the next corridoor his mind was bombarded by scenes of carnage and twistedness that would have sickened most others minds. But not Sodom. He found them entertaining, thrilling, exciting even. "What is this, showtime in my mind here?" he said with a cackle at an image he thought particularly funny of a woman watching her child being burned alive. "Its like some one else reads my mind and shows me it!" He had slowed his pace only a little as he lost his concentration while he ran, distracted by the images in his head. At a slow run, he ran straight into a trolley left in the hallway, tripping over it and sending its contents spilling down the hallway as he slid across the smooth floor, comming to a stop as he gently hit the wall with his head. About the same time, the images in his mind faded away and he was left with his own thoughts instead.

He was unmoving for a moment before his shoulders started to convulse a little. As their shaking rhythm quickened, his chuckling became louder until he was quickly in a manic laugh again! Rolling onto his back, he raised his head and looked at the trolley and the mess around him and then let it fall to the ground as he continued laughing. Moments later, his laughing stopped abruptly as he heard running footsteps towards his position. "I dont know who that was," he said, wiping his tears of laughter away and checking himself for injury as he stood, "But by the Gods it was good!" he said with a flick of his head to clear it. He skipped off up the hall whistling a random tune to himself before shortly comming to the stairs.

The stairway was situated perpendicular to the coridoor, and Sodom The Clown placed himself on the lower steps, leaning back out as Shadow belted down the coridoor after him. "Look out for that blasted trolley my boy!" He called out with a trailing chuckle that echoed down the hallway. He dashed away up the steps madly, taking them two, three or sometimes four at a time! He had a strong urge to get out of the building egging him on for some strange reason!

Ava stopped and stared at the girl licking her own blood away. She closed her eyes, concentrating on an image of the girl's cuts closing and the blood vanishing. She focused harder, her eyebrow crinkling and a small bead of sweat trickling down her neck. She opened her eyes and watched, satisfied, as she saw the girl's cuts began to close up and mend themselves. She gave the girl another small look, watching her closely. She turned her attention back to the collapsing asylum. She focused, and in her mind she saw what was happening in there. She saw Gilligan as his other personality, Sodom, and winced. She despised clowns, but she felt empathy for Gilligan. She saw him in her mind as he darted up the stairs. She growled quietly, feeling the vibration in her throat. She closed her eyes, focusing on an image of Sodom running back down the stairs and outside. She knew this would be hard enough with him as Sodom, and even harder with Sodom's sick mind. She could almost feel the violent thoughts churning through his head, and she shuddered. She focused harder than she had with the girl, making the image of Sodom running back down stairs and outside become the only thought on her mind. She took a deep breath and held it in, clenching her fists. She knew it would take a lot of her power and energy to make it work, but she would try. She made the image replay over and over in her mind, casting it out to Gilligan/Sodom's subconscious, which would make it take effect. She envisioned the thought as video being sent out by her brain waves to Sodom. This helped her concentration. She felt another line of sweat drip down her forehead and ignored it. GET OUT! She screamed in her mind to Sodom. Sure, she didn't like this personality, but she knew she'd forever feel guilty if she didn't try to help. She knew someone else was putting thoughts in Sodom's head, and she growled louder. She could see the girl, Isabella, and tried to send out a thought telling her to stop. She turned her attention back to getting Sodom out, because she knew if she could then everyone else would get out too.

"You bastard!" Shadow shouted so loud that his voice cracked, realizing his suspiciouns had been correct. He was afraid and the persons in his mind were forcing their way to the surface one by one like seals taking turns breathing through a hole in the ice. "Make it stop! Now!" he begged, his voice taking on a higher range as he slipped into another mind. He still believed that all this blood, and even the ringing in his head was coming from the clown. Or at least he was hoping it was, because that meant it could go away. He let out a cry of agony and bit down so hard on his hand in hopes of the pain clearing his head that blood began to trickle down his fingers. He opened his eyes. Everything was still the same. "Gotta keep trying," he murmured in a new, rougher voice, pulling his hair, clawing at his own face and arms, even hitting his head against the wall at times, all the while subconsciously following the voice of Sodom.

He had to leave. He had to. In less than an hour this place had gone to hell. Unfortunately he hadn't heard the man's warning about the trolley and, with his eyes screwed shut to prevent seeing anything more disturbing, he collided with it and flipped head over heels across the floor. When he was sure nothing else was going to send him flying, he opened his eyes and began to hoist himself up, but slipped in a puddle of red. The air escaped his lungs again and he looked up to see where it had come from to discover he was eye to eye with a wide-eyed corpse of a nurse, blood still pouring slowly down her gaping throat.

That was the last straw. Shadow stared at the poor woman and then down at his hand that was covered in her blood. It took a few seconds to process but once it did, everyone knew. He screamed as loud as he could and jumped to his feet and began sprinting, only being slowed by a final slip on some blood that was on his boot. The ringing didn't matter, the mess in the halls didn't matter, what mattered was getting as far as was physically possible from that body in the hall. Why that particular one, Shadow had no idea. He turned down any random corridor he could find. But all the doors just led to rooms, rooms, rooms. Shadow began to find it hard to breath. Finally he found a door that seemed to have an unusual amount of light coming through it and he ran faster than he had this whole time. Bursting through, into the open lawn of the hospital, he fell to his knees and the fight for breath became a fight to hold back tears. He crawled the rest of the way to a hedge by the side of the building, dragged himself behind it to hide, and finally let out the wrenching sobs he had been holding in.

Ava's concentration was cut off as she heard Shadow screaming. She didn't know him well, but she felt he needed help. She ran around the building to the front, where she saw him curled on the ground. She sent out the last burst of power she had to get Sodom to stop and exit the building. She ran to Shadow, trying to keep from collapsing. She dropped down beside him, eyeing him carefully and gently laying a hand on his arm. "Are you OK? What happened?" She asked, glancing up at the building. She felt sympathy for him, and also curiosity at what had devastated him so bad.

Hayley's vision suddenly goes blury and the scene around her changes. She sees the guy from before running down a familiar hallway. Then he burst out a door at the end into a sunny yard. Hayley's vision blurred again and she found herself next to the girl and the window once more. She looked around her, trying to decide which way to get out front. Suddenly a scream pierces the air. "The guy from the vision!" Hayley looks at the girl when she sees the girl start to run. Hayley starts to follow the girl but stops to shove a piece of sharp glass in her pocket. Then she sprints off towards the front of the building, listening to the roof throughout it crumbling. She makes it to the front of the building in time to see the girl practically collapse next to the guy. She walks over and sinks down to the ground next to the guy. "You fell next to a body, landed in its blood. That's why you got freaked out." Hayley said, seeing the recognition on the guy's face. "It's okay." She continued and patted the guy's back. Then she got up and walked around the corner. Pulling the glass from her pocket, she slashed a line down the length of her arm. She watched joyously as the blood started to pour from the cut. She started to lick the blood away and moaned in pleasure. "I wish you would quit that, babe." She continued to lick the blood up. "I'm sorry, hun. But it feels so good and all this shit is messing with my mind." A wan smile crossed Hayley's face for a moment before she slid down the wall, sitting against the corner.

Shadow removed his hands from his head and looked up frantically at Ava. "Sweet Jesus, get away from me!" he cried. Okay, clearly he was startled. He hoisted himself up and pulled himself back farther into the foliage until his back was against the wall of the building. Why was it always the women that died that shook him so bad? Had it started when he had seen/participated in his mother's death? He seemed to only be slightly disturbed by mens' deaths, if not intrigued by them. Then he remembered that certain night in hospital he had been transfered from when all he had heard was the screams of his friend as she had been.... His face twisted in a mix of grief and madness at the memory that he knew to be only his before he returned from his mind-world and focused on this girl infront of him. "Why did everyone have to kill those people?" he asked softly, unaware that minutes before he had torn apart and killed a patient in much the same way.

He turned to Hayley, his eyes wide. "You. GET OUT OF MY HEAD!! NOW!" he ordered, fearing that she was a telepath much like himself. He felt cornered, and was not used to being touch, so having tried to find a place to be alone he was now surrounded by others.

((P.S. Guys, the roof's not falling. It was an illusion that Sodom created. I think anyway. <w< ))

When the blood stopped flowing from her cut Hayley shakily stood up and walked back over to the two sitting against the front of the building. As she sat down a couple feet away the guy looked over at her. He yelled "you. GET OUT OF MY HEAD!! Now!" A shocked expression crossed Hayley's face, then realization. "I'm s-sorry...." A tear dropped from Hayley's eye. "I didn't realize...." Hayley looked down sheepishly at her hands. "Are you okay, babe?" The voice asked Hayley. Hayley slowly nodded and looked back up. The girl and guy were looking at her. Hayley tried to smile but she just couldn't get her face to moved. Instead she blushed a little and unconsciously rubbed the new cut on her arm.

Ava jumped back a bit from Shadow's outburst. She put her hands up in a kind of "surrender" gesture. She looked back up and saw the hospital, focusing. She blinked and it was just as it was before. No collapsing roof, no nothing. It looked fine, besides the fact that people lay dead inside. "Son of a-" she cut off from finishing her sentence as she realized what Sodom had done. She felt the rage burn inside her. She couldn't believe she had fallen for his trick, but of course everyone else had. That thought didn't make her feel any better. She glanced at Hayley, seeing the cut on her arm. Without even focusing she blinked and the cut was healed. She turned back to Shadow. "They were under an illusion... a violent, chaos causing illusion. Plus the fact that they were "free" from their captors," she replied to Shadow, drifting off as she thought about the havoc inside. She took a deep breath to keep her anger inside. She refused to become that side of her again.

Hayley blinked and her cut was healed. A confused expression crossed her face before she realized what had happened. "The girl must have healing powers." Then she looked up when she felt the girl's momentary rage. The girl was looking at the building so Hayley glanced up and saw something shocking. The building wasn't collapsing, didn't look like it. It looked unfamiliar, though she must have seen it going into the hospital earlier. Hayley laughed dementedly and fell over backwards. "Th-that's funny. The crazy guy was pulling a prank on us." She continued laughing, though it sounded pained. "So I crashed through a window for nothing then?" Hayley said out loud, not meaning to. "Haha. Not for nothing...." Hayley's eyes became unfocused as she touched the glass in her pocket. When her eyes refocused she found the girl and guy looking at her strangely. "Oh, sorry...." Hayley said sheepishly. She pricked her finger on the piece of glass and brought it to her mouth to suck on it. "Well.... What do we do now?"

Ava blinked at the girl. She could tell something was off, just by how she continued to sporadically bleed in places. She focused and in her mind saw an image of a piece of glass in her pocket. Again blinking, she made the glass fly out of the girl's pocket and into her hand. She slipped it into her pocket. With another blink the new prick healed. She wondered if the constant cutting of herself was to the girl's enjoyment, or just to mess with Ava. She knew it most likely wasn't the latter. She gave the girl another curious glance, waiting to see if she would do something.

Ofelia looked at the grinning man. "I dont think your one....but why are you smiling? Should I slit your throat?" She said licking the blood off her lips, she was almost drenched. "I am not killing everyone, just those who wish to hurt me." She said again, this time smiling....as she lost it? was she really mentally ill? "Hmmm, do you want to hurt me?" She giggle.

"The.... Glass.... Give.... It.... Back...." Hayley said, her eyes glowing with anger. She frantically searched her pocket for the razor blade she had from her house. When Hayley found it she immediately slashed at her wrist, watching the blood running across her arm. She felt the blade being pulled from her hand and glared at the girl. "You.... Won't.... Take it.... This.... Time..." Hayley said determinedly. She shoved it back in her pocket and continued to glare at the girl until she gave up trying to get the blade.
Suddenly, Hayley's vision goes blurred again. Hayley is watching a scene of the psycho girl and a guy. The psycho girl is talking and licking the blood from her lips. The girl has the keys she used to kill the others in her hand. Hayley gasps as she realizes the girl might kill the guy. Her vision blurs back to where she is sitting.
Hayley shakes her head and sighs. "I should probably go stop her...." Hayley says to herself. Again she catches the other girl looking at her. She raises her voice a bit. "The psycho girl, the one that killed all the staff in the hospital, she's with a guy right now. I think she might kill him." Hayley stands up to go stop her, but collapses onto the ground.

Ava gave Shadow a glance before going over to Hayley. She kneeled next to her. "Your body is low on blood. You have. To. Stop. Cutting," she said, looking hard into the girl's eyes. She cocked her head, making the razor fly out of the girls pocket and join the blade of glass in Ava's own pocket. She sighed and focused on an image of the girl's deep slashes healing. When she broke off the thought Hayley's arm looked perfect. She sighed and rubbed her temples, she had already used a lot of her energy today and she was running low. "I'll help you with the psycho girl and guy," she said standing up and offering her hand to help pull Hayley up. "We'll be back Shadow," she said, throwing him another look over her shoulder.

"Th-thanks...." Hayley said as the girl helped her up. "Really I wish you'd stop doing that." Hayley gestured towards the girl's pocket and her own arm. Hayley lead the way into the hospital. A ways down the hall Hayley turned around to see if the girl was still following her and found the girl about ten yards back at an intersection of halls. Then she looked down at herself and laughed. Hayley turns visible again and the girl's eyes widen. "Sorry. Sometimes I don't even realize I turn invisible." She said as she walked back to the girl. "Let's get going. They're close." She continued down the hall. They came to a doorway with voices coming from within and froze, listening.

"Welcome. You're not going to be much help to anyone, including yourself, if you keep losing blood like that," she said, looking straight ahead. She stopped at intersection when she could no longer see the girl. Her eyes widened a bit as the girl flashed from invisible to visible. She smiled a bit, glad that the girl hadn't abandoned her in this place. She followed after, glancing around for anyone else that had been left inside. She stopped the door where voices were coming from. She put her fingers to her lips to say "Shhh". She focused, and the door opened quietly a bit. However, it made no noise, which it usually would have. She focused again, using a flash of her power. The people grew subconsciously louder and more oblivious to outside noses. She smiled a bit to herself.

Hayley gave the thumbs up sign to the girl, saying "nice!" Hayley slid quietly through the door and saw that the psycho girl and the boy were standing in the middle of the room, the boy wary of an attack. She noticed the girl that came with er sneak into the room behind. Hayley watched the psycho girl circle th guy with lustful eyes. She stood silently against a wall, turning invisible. Suddenly Hayley collapses and hits her head on the wall with a loud bang. The psycho girl's head snaps in her direction.

((will post up a very cool post tomorrow some time ladies and gents, see if you cant get outside the not so collapsing building, because its going to be epic! I have a cool idea im going to unleash))

Hayley throws up hers hands to guard her face. When the psycho girl runs at her a knife. Suddenly she stops and flies back. Hayley gasps and looks at her hands. "Did you just make a FORCE FIELD?!?" The voice asked as Hayley slowly stood up. She looked at the girl she came in with, who looked just as confused. Hayley went over to the guy and pulled him back over to the girl. Then she grabbed the girl's arm and dragged both of them back outside, away from the psycho girl.

Very quiet and reclusive, gets physically nauseous, sometimes to the point of throwing up, when she is force to socialized. She is much better then she used to be and is working at it, but when she makes contact with others her voice is hard to hear and unsteady. She'd rather figure out a way to help herself then to ask for help and fears others judgments, often blaming herself for others unhappiness.

Sodom raced up to the top of the stairs, taking them in twos and threes until he reached the landing at the top. He wasnt sure why he was in such a hurry to reach the top other than he had to get out of the building, and this was an exit.

As he reached the top, breathing hard, he walked towards the doorway onto the roof. He slowed his walk, something changing in his head, he wasnt sure why. As he neared the door, he placed a hand on the push bar to open it. Instead of pushing down though, his hand sat on it a moment while he tried to puzzle something out. Moments before, he had been determined to get out of the building, but now, he wanted to go back down the stairs and get out a different way.

Puzzled still, he turned, and wandered back towards the stairs, looking down at them. He shrugged to himself, at least now he could slide down the railings! He sat on the railing taking him down to the half way point between floors and slid down it, enjoying the moment. A niggling thought in the back of his head made him pause on the landing though. It was fun to slide down the railings, he enjoyed it. But he looked back up to the door that was just visible above him. Out that door he was going to have more fun, he remembered that. Why was he wanting to go back down the stairs then? It didnt make sense?

He shook his head. It felt fuzzy and unclear inside it, but it was starting to become clear the more he thought. Some one must have been trying to manipulate their thoughts? Why he didnt understand, but he knew what he wanted to do. He remembered his purpose, his drive and determination and his motivation. He felt the rush of energy surge through him again like anew.

He raced back up the stairs for a second time, and rushed to the door, pausing for a second with his hand on the push bar to open it once more. He cocked his head to one side, listening. Strange, Shadow didnt sound like he was following him anymore. Oh well, no need to worry about that, there were more important things to do! More FUN things to do! He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, inhaling the damp musty aroma he had smelled for years and loathed. He remembered all the things about this institution that he hated and despised. He chanelled that emotion into strength for his comming illusions.

Exhaling, Sodom opened his eyes and stepped out onto the open rooftop, holding the door open as he stood there amidst the fresh air. He raised his face to the sky, and let out a disturbing howling cackle like a madman. As he did, the sound of cawing could be heard from in the stairwell, and the flapping of wings, hundereds of wings too. With his face tilted back, Sodom threw his arms wide, and the black ravens spewed forth from the doorway like an unending wave of darkness. Their cawing rose in a great cresendo as they rose to the skys, circling around and around above the building, a dark swirling vortex above the now abandoned complex of cement and steel.

As the last of the birds flew from the doorway, flying up to joing the circling mass of birds high over head, Sodom straightened up and let the door swing closed. He walked brazenly over to the edge of the building, expecting to see the open grounds and gardens around the building they were all housed inside of. Instead, he saw below him the various people that the complex housed all gathered together. He wasnt sure why, but it was a perfect setting. Stepping up and standing on the edge of the roof, he could feel the up draft of the air buffeting him back as it rushed past him. A cackle burst from his throat again and he grabbed for their attention below. He began to sing, a haunting tune that unsettled everyone.

Cackling like a mad man at the end of the tune, Sodom abruptly cut it short and stood straight, looking down at the gathered bodies in the yard below.

"You know what? THEY HAVE LEFT US! And we're ALL mad! MAD AS HELL! They only thing we ever wanted, ever NEEDED, was to be left to ourselves. But they couldnt do that! We were brought here, one way or another! And now they just want to dump us when its 'inconvenient' for them?" He paused for effect, looking at them standing in a ramshackle group below. "Well i say its time WE decided when WE are done with THEM! I say we leave this little test lab behind and break out! I say we go and find those who put us here and make them PAY!" He pumped a fist in the air for emphasis, his coat billowing out behind him on a very timely gust of wind. "WHO. WANTS. REVENGE?" He bellowed to the masses below him.

"Sodom! That's crazy! I want revenge too but we can't do it alone! Quit being stupid!" Hayley yelled up at the crazy guy standing on the edge of the roof. "I know you are smarter than this! I can feel it! Gilligan is smarter than this! Gilligan I know you're in there! Fight Sodom! Get out!" Hayley had climbed up on a rock, raising her above the others.

Sophia pushed herself up off the floor, what ever had happened that made the roof look like it was collapsing had ended awhile ago and now she could hear shouting outside. She tried to peer out the dirty barred window, but had a poor view. She could see many were outside, but not much more. She ran to the door of her room and tried to open it. The handle jiggled a bit but didn't budge, the door was locked. A dead doctor was lying outside the room. His throat was slashed and there looked to be keys in his pocket.

As Sophia stared the doctor lifted up and began to move towards the door, jerking as if being controlled by some demented puppeteer. His arm lifted the keys to the door and soon the door was unlocked. As soon as Sophia opened the door and her concentration broke and the doctor crumpled to the floor. A slight sheen of sweat was visible on her forehead, controlling something large, like a body, had always taken more energy. She kneeled and grabbed the keys, thankful that her collar was off so that she could use her ability. Now it was time to figure out what was happening. She began to run down the hall.

Sodom peered down at the girl and laughed. "Daddys not here to save you little girl!" he said in a mocking tone. "Its just me here!" The cawing of the ravens and the speed of their circling grew in intensity.

"Im going to find the bastards that caged us! Im going to get justice, and revenge, AND HAVE SOME FUN!" he screamed to the world. "If you want to be a coward, you can stay here and hide, but if you want to make sure they dont come back, then you can join me!"

As he finished his sentence there was the echoing sound of a single gunshot from across the compound. At the same time, Sodom grunted and hunched forward, toppling from the building. The circling ravens over head dissipated into black mist, scattering and disappearing on the wind in mere seconds and were gone before he hit the ground below with a sickening thud.
