Name: Mayura Valentine
Age: 17 (to start), later on around 24
Gender: Female
Appearance: A kind teenager, and a grown woman with a dream.
Personality: Generally, she's a very sweet and genuinely kind person, doing all she can to help others because she's seen the struggle. She can't sympathize or know what it feels like, but she feels if she has the resources, then why not use them for good? She has a bad habit of speaking fluent sarcasm, though, which can sometimes get her into a bit of trouble or make people uncomfortable for a while.
Small Bio: Mayura comes from a very wealthy family who is top notch in the medicine field. They've worked their way to be the best of the best and don't like to back down from a 'challenge'. Her parents were very rude, very snotty people to anyone who wasn't on their 'level' of wealth or intelligence and growing up, she was around nannies more than anything, so she found herself sympathizing with their plights. As she grew older, she found that the way her parents treated the working class was appaling and on numerous occasions she had confronted them about it, but they never listened. At the age of sixteen, Mayura pushed for an emancipation and her parents, no surprise, granted it but surprisingly still continued to fund her for schooling and her regular luxuries. She decided to live in a studio loft in the city and enjoys her solitude most of the time. Being the friendly gal she is, she often invites friends to stay over or has company. On weekends, she often walked to the city's local homeless shelter to help out and gives grand donations whenever the holidays and harsh months are upon people, or whenver she can. She strives to be a doctor, not for the money or to appease her parents, but so she can help people who genuinely need help, even if they cannot afford to pay.

Name: N.N. (Short for No Name)
Age: 15-16
Gender: Male
Appearence: http://i127.photobucket.com/albums/p...h/nameless.jpg , http://i127.photobucket.com/albums/p...e/c7fedf8b.jpg
Personality: Timid, easily frightened, stubborn as a mule, and easily irritated with certain people. His personality seems to change to person to person.
Bio: N.N. had been on the streets for as long as he could remember, which was about the age of seven and up. Suffering from amnesia, he cannot remember what his life was like before, his family, lifestyle, even his name is lost to him. He had developed a kind of condition that if he becomes too scared, or cornered he will blank out into a trance, or if the situation is bad enough, a coma-like state. N.N. is also claustrophobic, uncomfortable in crowds, afraid of heights and had also developed a stutter. This kid is a mess but he is fast on his feet, a skilled pickpocketer, and kind and always considerate about those of lesser fortune than himself.

((Alright, I've got the perfect way to start this out! C: Winter time, here we go! . 3.))
It was starting to get a lot colder than she remembered, and she had only been out for about three hours. She shivered, wrapping her scarf well around her neck. Since her hair wasn't very long, only barely passing the length of her neck, she had to heavily rely on the layers she was wearing for warmth. And there were quite a few layers. Two scarves, a cute pair of earmuffs, a coat and undercoat, the list could continue.
But she didn't complain, she knew fair and well that there were a LOT of others in that very city that had it a lot worse than her. She was returning from the homeless shelter to deliver her Christmas present to all that frequented there, which consisted of numerous new clothes, toys for the young ones, and a hefty sum of money donated to the shelter altogether to help with supplies. She had been doing this for the past year or two and loved it.
Christmas was drawing closer and the brunette, Mayura, was especially in the giving season. It warmed her heart to even see that even if someone was homeless, she helped them and they wouldn't be alone for the holidays. She checked the time, frowning. The shelter was bound to be closed by now, she couldn't swing by to drop off another small donation. She looked at her watch.
Her home wasn't very far from there, that wasn't what was concerning her, though. She just wanted to make sure she could get home easily. There was also a heavy crime rate she often heard about. As she passed an alleyway, something had quickly caught her attention. She could have sworn it was in the shape of a person. Phone in hand, just in case, Mayura walked closer. "Hello?" She called, voice soft and questioning.

(w00t! I love the winter time! It's expectially miserable for N.N. =w= Perfect choice. )
It was getting cold again. Huddling close to the dumpster so the cold winds and the chill in the air was blocked off, even though it was just a little, Nameless pulled the worn out cloth tightly around himself as he shivered. Normally around this time, he would be out and about to the resturants and fast food places that would be closing about now to dig through their trash bins in hopes for some good left overs, but it was too cold. He feared for when the snow will fall. Snow, he hated the snow.Pulling the cloth close the best he could he pulled his bare and scarred feet up to his body, but the wrappings weren't enough to keep them from numbing out.
On the otherside of the dumpster was an old man that had fallen asleep already. It was the same old man that tried his best to take care of the nameless teen, so he tried his best to take care of him in return. It had taken a lot of work to convience the old man to take all the newspapers to cover himself up to keep him warm. Just as No Name was beginning to fall asleep, to succumb to the cold, he heard a voice call out softly that brought him back. Turning his head slightly, he saw the outline of someone stepping into the alley and tensed up so bad in alarm that he no longer shivered. The last time someone had had come into this alley, well, it didn't end well for N.N. Turning away, he moved closer to the dumpster and didn't reply, hoping whoever it was won't see him and would leave.

((Aww. XD Only makes it harder for him to deny Mayura's offer! .3 .))
While Mayura was afraid for what could happen, she didn't let it stop her from continuing on. It was getting too cold out for anyone to have to be in this weather. All throughout history, winter has been the killer and the harshest torturer. She looked around, but due it to being rather dark, she had to turn on her phone's flashlight function and dim it so she didn't startle anyone, if she were to find anyone.
She looked around slowly and when she started to approach a dumpster, she noticed an old man sleeping under newspapers. She frowned deeply, nobody had to live like that, especially the elderly and such young people. Speaking of which, she had noticed a pair of feet on the other side before they disappeared. "Hello...?" She called again, voice just a bit louder as she walked closer to the other side. When she did, she noticed a young man, probably around her age, all huddled up. She knelt down, frowning a bit.
Mayura flicked her hand a bit so the dim light of her phone would show her gentle smile and face, "Are you alright?" For a moment, she reached out a hand to help him, but withdrew it, hoping that he wouldn't get the impression that she was trying to hurt him or anything. If anything, Mayura was trying to be as gentle as she possibly could. She wasn't there to start a fight, just to try and help as much as she could.

Hearing the voice again, the nameless boy knew that whoever it was wasn't going to leave and when he heard the footsteps get closer it proved him right. Pulling himself into a tighter ball, he tried to make himself dissapear, untrusting of whoever it was. When the stranger came from around the dumpster, No Name peered from under his makeshift hood and snarled dark hair that threatened to cover his eyes to see who it was. Much to his surprise it was a girl, a young woman who looked like she was bundled up like she was ready to go out and roll in the cursed snow like he had seen children do before.
Even without the small light that the girl had, N.N. had very good night vision. He was surprised to see such a smile on her as she looked at him, it was the first he'd ever seen one like that. It was always sneers or looks of disgust because of his dirty and ragged appearence or anger when he pickpocketed, but that was not something he was often caught at. Hearing her question, No Name nodded faintly and stared down at the ground by his numb feet. "I-I'm f-fine." He stuttered without looking at her.

Mayura took that opportunity to look over the male and she felt her heart sinking with every single second that went by. Nobody deserved to live like this. It was horrible how the system was to people that were just so down on their luck.. She looked at him, frowining softly as he responded to her question. She shook her head before noticing how he was staring at his feet. "Surely you must be freezing..How come you haven't gone to the shelter?"
Mayura knew a lot of people there, all of them very, very kind and without a single ill minded thought on their midn when it came to helping people. Without any other second thought, Mayura quite literally plopped on her bum and took her shoes off before pulling off a pair of socks and handing them to the boy. They were green with cute Christmas penguins and snowflakes on them. "I'm sorry they're kind of girly...But I promise they don't smell or anything! Here, please take them." She had two pairs on, only because she was very likely to contract a cold in the winter if she weren't so bundled up.
And she wouldn't take no for an answer as far as him accepting the socks went. It was the least she could do at the moment..Although something had popped into her head. It was going to start storming later on tonight, something fierce. The shelter was closed for the night, she couldn't stand the thought of this poor boy and that old man in the storm. They could catch their death! She had a thought in mind, and to anyone else it seemed quite crazy, but Mayura found it to be the right thing too do. The only thing she needed now, though, was the right timing to offer. She needed this boy to at least somewhat trust her first.

No Name just continued to stare down, not wanting to meet her gaze, but he didn't want to leave her question hanging in the cold air so he sighed lightly, a small puff of steam from his breath. "I-it'd be one l-less someone e-else get's." He stuttered lightly, then looked up at her in confusion when she suddenly sat down on teh cold, dirty concrete and started to pull her shoes and socks off. "Wh-what are-?" He started then blinked in surprise when she held the socks out to him and apologized. He looked at the offered socks, then back at her, flabbergasted as the old man would say. Shaking his head he muttered, "No, thanks." He said, not wanting to take something from the girl that she took straight off her back in some way. Besides if she had them on, she must have needed them in the first place. No Name wasn't one to accept help, or take something from someone who needed it more than him. Shivering at a particularly cold wind, he looked up at the sky and saw it was going to get really bad soon. "Y-you should leave b-before it gets colder." He stuttered not wanting her to get sick because of him keeping her out.

Mayura shook her head a bit at his response, frowning. "But...People are there to help. Nobody should have to be left out in this weather!" She lookes at him, her large brown eyes just pleading. And when declined her socks, Mayura shook her head, scooting a bit closer to place them on his lap, "..Take them. I have another pair on..Please, you need them much more than I do.." She stared at him for the longest of times, huffing slightly before smiling.
"If you don't put them on, I'll put them on for you~" She purred, softly and playfully to convey that she was not going to put them back on her person. At his concern for it getting colder out, she shook her head, "Not until you do two things for me.." She clasped her hands together, smiling softly. One was obviously take the socks she had given and the other was what she was about to propose, "I won't leave until these two things are done." Mayura was quite the stubborn one, and if she had to, she would spend all night out there.

No Name watched her closely as she stared him down, and felt his face heat up faintly when she threatened to put the socks on herself. He made a faint sound of discomfort and irritation at this girl's stubborness. It was obvious that she wasn't going to leave him alone and that meant he would probably won't get any sleep and she'd be out here in the cold and from how she is all bundled up, she wasn't used to the cold as he was. So she would only fall ill.
When she said she'd leave but only after he'd do two things for her. 'Go fig.' No Name thought with a faint sigh. 'I don't know what she'd think I have that she could want from me, but I should have known she'd want something for the socks.' He thought but nodded lightly, if only it would make her leave. "Wh-what do you w-want?" He stuttered lightly.

Mayura wasn't completely serious with her little 'threat', but it did cause her to utter a soft giggle at the sight of his face heating up a bit at it. When he nodded and agreed to at least listen to what her little proposal was, she smiled softly, "I just want you and that gentleman to come to my home and spend the night. It's going to be horribly cold out and I'd feel equally as horrible if you two were out here. I've got spare bedrooms and extra clothes, you two won't need to worry about anything but catching up on sleep!"
That's all she wanted. Nothing more, nothing less. There were no hidden meanings, no ill intentions and definitely no expectations to get something for her socks or for just wanting to lend a hand. She placed her hands over her heart, smiling softly as she looked to the young man, "Please...? It would mean very much to me. I don't want anything in return but to know that you won't freeze to death tonight." And there she was, quite literally on her knees begging that he would take up her offer before anything bad were to happen. Persistence, while most did think it to be annoying, would probably be one of the most powerful gifts Mayura had been blessed with.

Again, No Name blinked at her in surprise at her simple offer. 'She didn't want something from me?' he thought, 'She only wants to get the old man and me shelter?' Well, this was something that had never happened before. He looked away from her, unable to get himself to look at her as she had put herself on her knees and practically begged him. 'The old man. . . ' No Name unsteadily climbed to his numbed feet, using the brick wall behind him and the dumpster to pull himself up. Walking around the girl and the dumpster, he looked down at the sleeping old man, that shivered in his sleep dispite the nameless's attempts and efforts to get him warm. Staring at the old man, watching him sleep and shiver, No Name finally sighed and nodded. "Alright," He said to the girl, turning his head slightly toward her but didn't look at her, his dark green blue eyes still casted to the ground. This girl was a little annoying but if she came help the stubborn old man, No Name won't stop her.

What was he going to say to this? Mayura could only imagine how odd this all must have been for him. No many people in the city were very kind to homeless people, after all.. She watched as he climbed to his feet and walkd around her and to the old man. When he agreed, she smiled softly and nodded. "Alright, good..I'll have my, um..friend pick us up."
She murmured for a second, pressing a button on her phone and speaking for a minute at the most. While she did walk earlier that night, she did have a driver nearby. Not in a limo but in a five person vehicle, rather on the 'down low'. Mayura didn't like flashing her wealth in other people's faces. What was the point? She waited a few minutes until the small black car had came up to where they were. She got on her feet, dusting herself off and making sure her shoes were on properly. Hands folded, she smiled softly and opened the door, gesturing for the boy and old man to get in first.

While the strange girl called her 'friend', No Name crouched down beside the old man and shook him gently to wake him up. "Hey, hey old man. Come on, y-you need to wake up." the nameless one urged. The old man grunted and rolled over, then began to go into one of his coughing fits.
"N.N. what is it? I just got to sleep." He grumbled before coughing again, even though he had been asleep for a short while already.
"This girl here has offered us r-rooms, a p-place to stay for the night." He informed the old fart, who sat up stiffly with a toothy grin.
"Well, I thought I'd never see the day that you'd accept help, 'ole boy." The old man said and with N.N.'s help got to his feet. By the time that was done, the strange girl's 'friend' had arrived. The old man hobbled over to the car as the door was held open by the young woman, eager for a warm, soft bed to sleep in, while No Name stopped short and stared at the vehicle a little wide eyed.

Good thing her driver had come in a short amount of time, Mayura wasn't sure how long it would take for the storm to start hitting hard. She looked over, smiling a bit as she saw the old man come to and start to speaking to the young man. She tilted her head for a second, though. N.N.? That had to be a nickname for the young man, but it was still rather odd. She shook it off, though, not wanting to be intrusive with this boy's personal life. She folded her hands behind her back and smiled happily as the old man had headed into the car. When the boy had stopped and stared at the vehicle, she smiled and offered him a choice.
"Would you like to sit in the back seat or the front?" She offered kindly. Mayura didn't mind either, they were all going to the same destination, so it wouldn't matter so long as she had a place to sit, of course! And already the cogs in her mind were working as far as what clothes she would offer them, the bathrooms they could use for privacy, showering and whatnot..But she didn't need to worry too much. She had everything she would need and she'd very happily supply these two with anything they needed.

The old man climbed into the vehicle and got himself all settled, excited like a little kid going to the park. Every so often he could cough harshly, but paid it no mind. No Name on the other hand continued to stay where he stood and sway lightly as he tried to stay up right on his numbed feet. Rubbing his hands together, he pulled the cloth he wore tighter around himself as he then looked back down at the ground. ". . . h-how far do y-you l-live?" He asked the girl, hoping it wasn't too far so he could just to there by foot. He had never been inside a vehicle before and it was a very small space to be trapped in.
The old man heard N.N. stutter this so he took the inititive to lean over to the kind girl with a toothy grin. "N.N. is a bit clusterphobic, ain't ya boy?" He called out to the nameless one with a grin. No Name frowned at the old man and felt annoyed at his butting in.
"Whatever, old man!" No name snapped at him, and hugged the cloth more tightly around himself.

Mayura couldn't help but wrap her brain around what could possibly be wrong. Did this boy have something against cars? She looked to him. She didn't live too far, but why was he asking? Was he afraid? It made sense when the old man had spoken about him being claustrophobic. She frowned, looking around, "Oh, um...Well..I live Fifteen minutes away, but.." She was fearful that the snowstorm would start up.. But she didn't want to stuff the boy into the car and have him undergo some sort of panic attack. She was trying to keep him away from getting hurt in any way! There wasn't much to really do except to walk.
"That's okay...I'll walk you to my home." She turned to the driver and smiled, "Please take this gentleman to my home and wait for us. We shouldn't be long." It was a fifteen minute ride by car or foot, so they should head there within good time, she figured.

This girl just never seemed to stop surprising him, she was going to walk with him? Turning his head away from her, he felt his cheeks to heat up faintly again. The old man continued to grin and waved at the younger male before closing the car door, knowing it would do N.N. some good with some company other than the old man all the time. Staring hard at the ground, No Name rubbed his wrapped up feet against each other nervously. If he tried to protest about her walking with him, he had a feeling that it wouldn't work. "W-we should start m-moving then." He stuttered, not wanting to keep her out in this cold for any longer.

She turned and started walking slowly, glancing back occasionally to make sure the male was following along.

Holding the cloth he wore, tightly around himself, N.N. made sure to walk beside the girl so he would block most of the wind, or try to. After all, he was used to the cold. He cringed lightly as he felt the blood begin to move through his feet causeing him to feel pins and needles as he followed her. The wrappings around his feet kept the cold ground from wanting to freeze his feet to it.

Mayura glanced over to the boy every now and then, frowning as he seemed to be trying to block the wind from hitting her at its fullest. When she noticed his cringing, Mayura gently placed a hand on what she assumed was his arm under the cloth. "Are you alright? Does something hurt?" She would be capable of helping to some extent. After all, she was studying avidly to become a doctor one of these days. But she wouldn't try helping the boy or looking at anything unless he would decide that he was in a bad amount of pain.

Flinching faintly when he felt someone touch him, N.N. forced himself to calm down when he realized it was just the girl. "N-no. . . I'm fine." He stuttered as he shook his head staring down at the ground as they walked. He recongized this road, so he knew the general direction they were going. Gradually he became more and more nervous about staying with this strange girl. He had never been in someone's place of living and suspected his claustrophobia would give him trouble once he was indoors.

When he responded to her question, though, Mayura simply nodded and continued walking on. Soon enough, they did end up getting to her place. Along the way, though, Mayura had been thinking. That old man had said that this boy was claustrophobic. Her home was rather large in space, as were the bedrooms, but if anything were to make him uncomfortable, she'd most definitely offer him her room. It was the biggest out of all of them, so perhaps he wouldn't feel so jumpy and nervous. She looked up to see the same vehicle that had brought the old man to her home and smiled softly, looking to N.N, "It looks like our older friend has arrived." She spoke, giggling softly as she walked toward the vehicle.

Saying nothing, no name looked up at the house that he'll be staying in for the night and the vehicle that brought the old man earlier. The house was huge, much bigger than the other houses he had seen from the outside. "Y-you live here?" he asked her, a little unbelieving. People didn't like in such large houses.
