Name: Jayce LockHart
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Personality: She is considered to be very distant, quiet, but not exactly shy, it's more like shes just stopped caring about talking to other people if she can help it.
Appearance: She has fairly long dark almost black in color hair that in most occasions obscures her face from view. She wears dark make-up for the most part around her eyes and a soft powder on her face to lighten her already very pale skin tone. On nice days she will wear a black or other dark colored dress but her usual wear was something to the effect of large baggy black trip pants with chains a black tank top that most likely would be accompanied with a trench coat.
Fairly Recent Nice Photograph:
Bio: Jayce will be starting her junior year in a new high school, to say the least her last school... didn't work out. She wasn't a bad kid or anything just different and needless to say the people in her last school made her life a living hell. After her most recent suicide attempt and being released from patient care, her grandfather decided that this upcoming school year he would send her off to another school in a neighboring town in hopes that this would give her the fresh start she desperately needed, but for now it was just the very beginning of summer recess.

((Your Link for Jayce doesn't seem to work for me. Also don't mind my crude artwork, this is quite an old piece but I feel like I can use him for the rp. I overdid it, but then this is how I do it so it's easy and brief for me.))

Past:
Growing up, he was in a considered, wealthy, perfectly normal nice family. Well, that image and life was shattered at the young age of 10, where his mansion burned down to a crisp, leaving nothing but him as he had gotten home from a sleepover the night before. Traumatized, he showed signs of psychopathy and sadism at the age of 11 by torturing and killing animals that were suffering. It was at age 14 that this had extended to humans, tormenting and bullying, even going as far as violence to make himself smile. As his terrifying acts progressively got worse, at 15 he had already killed 5 people, in what he had found out were clinically depressed in his school. Disgusted with such people, he went into fugitivity, continuously murdering people up to now, at his age of 18.

Jayce sighed it was only the second day of summer and her grandfather was getting on her about going out and seeing one of her friends not that she actually had any but she pretended for his sake. She sighed and said fine she would see what 'Amanda was doing' She dialed a fake number into her cell phone and waited for her imaginary friend Amanda to answer and then spoke "Hey Amanda, it's me Jayce. Wanna go grab some coffee and a bite to eat at the cafe?" she paused as if listening to her friends response "Alright cool, Ill see you over there in fifteen" another pause "okay! bye" she said hanging up her cell.
"Okay grandpa, I'm going to go hang out with Amanda down town." her grandfather couldn't be more happy about it he offered her some money not only enough for eating but for shopping and a movie with snacks if she wanted " Thank you grandfather" she said knowing he was only trying to get her to be happier about that whole living thing. "Ill see you later okay? Just call me if you need me to come home or pick you up something for dinner or something she said.
After she left the house she got on her bicycle and road down to the cafe thinking she might as well catch a good bite and could hear the latest on the mysteriously missing girls. She found it funny thinking they had all most likely just run away from their shitty lives. It made a good story for the news though depressed girls disappearing, were they bullied and killed did they commit suicide, did they just run off, who knows but at least it was interesting.
Upon getting to the cafe she locked up her bike and went inside sitting in her usual seat, the little waitress came over slowly and asked if she would have the usual which Jayce simply nodded to her in response. The waitress left to go place the order and Jayce waited for the 2 o'clock news.

This just in, another missing girl, the age of 17, Penelope Marito has gone missing 8:00 pm last night at what the police say could be a run away. No sign or trace of her so far, now onto the weather...... Zip. The television snapped off with the press of a remote button. The man holding the remote grinning at the TV wickedly. He stood, and got changed, before walking out of the room, sticking his mp3 headphones into his ears.
It was the same crap everyday. Depressed people just walking among the living, it annoyed the crap out of him. Zane walked out of his apartment complex. It was the second day of summer and the weather was already hot and annoying. He was pretty uncomfortable in his jeans and t-shirt, but it was the only clean thing in his closet so he was forced to wear them. He was sick of all the self pitying people out there who can't look for anyone but themselves. It was really annoying. Making his way down the street he spotted a cafe, and a girl, sitting alone at the cafe. Now he was on the search for some new victims. His last one, Penelope, was a bit too willing to leave the world, and it peeved him.
He had his secret. Some liked to call it insanity, murder, serial killing. Zane had his own name for it. Purging, he was ridding the world of suicidals by ending their lives himself, usually by torment and murder. He grinned as flashes of last weeks murder ran through his mind. Her tears, clear compared to the blood that ran down her body as he repeatedly stabbed her to death. The entire time the girl smiled, and uttered her last words of thanks before disappearing from her shell of a body.
He walked into the cafe, removing the headphones as he was seated in the table in front of hers. He smiled at the waitress who seemed to blush at his presence, and ordered a burger, and some iced tea. As he sat waiting for his food, he looked up, seeing the news he had just seen on his TV at home play. Penelope Marito, dead as of 8 pm last night, he repeated in his head, green eyes glinting of mischief,"How cruel a world is to let beautiful people die so young." He said aloud to no one in particular. He turned around and looked at the girl behind her black hair that almost obscures her eyes from view, and an air of loneliness he was so accustomed to feeling after all this time. On impulse of acting, his eyes softened and he spoke,"Don't you agree miss?"

Once the waitress left her table she took out several things from her bag, placing them all neatly onto the table. She pulled out two small text books, on for a math class, and the other for a history class both of which she was taking online as college credit courses. She placed them in the upper left corner of the table along with an artistic looking notebook for each. She also pulled out a sketch book, as well as an art box that she placed on the upper right side of the table. In between them she placed her computer. She then placed her bag on the other chair at her table and went to turn on her computer.
After her computer loaded up and she typed in the password she went onto the web. Her teachers tended to post all of their class assignments on a website called Moodle although her actual courses were on the actual college website. When the site loaded on her screen she logged in and looked at her class list. She paused for a moment debating what she wanted to do first. After a moment she clicked on the math and then looked through the assignments she would have to do through out the summer. Lucky for her none of the assignments had actual due dates, so she could do them all and be done with the class in any length of time she felt like. She opened the text book to the first chapter, got a pencil and began to work.
While she did each problem she was more and more surprised by how easy it was. Although it was true she was a very smart student education wise she anticipated feeling challenged. The fact that it wasn't challenging was quite the disappointment. She hoped that after the review chapters were done the rest of it would become increasingly more difficult. She was on question seven of fifteen when someone she had not seen before sat at the table in front of her and right on cue the 'breaking' news came on.
She watched as the news reporter informed the world that another person had gone missing. Penelope... she thought If she is the girl I think I've seen in school then she most likely ran away for failing to graduate. Pathetic.. When the man spoke it sent a strange shiver down her spine, it even made her jump slightly. Maybe it was just the fact that she wasn't used to being talked to in any nice form but what he said.. was strange.. She looked up at him through her hair. " The reporter... Didn't say anything about her dyeing" she said slowly her voice was quite and apathetic. "And frankly, if she were dead which i'm doubting, what would it really matter? One person they see a tragedy but when one thousand dyed from a burning corporate building it was simply a statistic? People come and people go, you live and then you die. Simply how it is."

Zane glanced down at the books and papers and such scattered about the table she was seated upon curiously. A study bug huh? Such a healthy way to break the loneliness, but shame, I can see right through you missy. He grinned at the thought, before he heard her reply to him. Her voice was soft, but still had a strong sense to it. He looked up, still not seeing her eyes so he wasn't sure if she was looking at him. He blew hair out of his face as she spoke. It was very blunt and realistic in his opinion. Zane let out a snort,"She may be a statistic, but there maybe people who she means the world to." He closed his eyes, being taken back to a time before he shaped himself into this life,"And to go missing like that, out of the blue, seems cruel isn't it? It sounds much too evil to be such a case."
Zane opened his eyes, they were sparkling a mischievous green,"In my opinion, it sounds like kidnapping. Weird isn't it?" He was interrupted as the waitress came back with his food. After thanking the woman he turned back around, burger in his mouth, eyes twinkling with curiosity for the girl in front of him. He didn't really care for the pack of flavors in his mouth at the moment, though it was very delicious, but he wanted more information on his soon to be victim.
After chewing and swallowing his bite, he gestured to the things of Jayce's scattered about the table,"You study?" He questioned,"Its the start of summer, don't you kids hang out with friends or something?" He joked, pretending to play unaware,"Though that's good, won't be busy later hm?"
Taking another bite, he stood and sat in the chair opposite to her on her table, eyeing her work. The stuff she was doing was foreign to him, he had no clue whatsoever on what the girl was doing and how she was doing it, though he was older, he wasn't doing math as a career, he was going after art. Painting was something he loved to do, and his teachers seemed to enjoy the gruesome art of his victims that he delivered, always unaware of what he was truly making. It was ironic really, to be loved for an art that was unforgivable in the minds of many.
"That looks really hard there miss, do you really understand that?"

She listened to the man speak, barely looking at him. Though she did eventually make a conscious effort to look up and shift so her head so that her hair moved out of her face slightly. Although she had only done this because he did so first though. Her eyes were a sea of color, a mix of blues greens maybe a hint of brown? Although today they seemed more of a blueish tone." People mourn, yes, but they soon go back to their average lives as if the lost person never had truly existed. The dead become like a distant dream you can't quite remember in full. It's all hazy. You could love someone, and say that only she is meant for you.. and then she dies? In most cases you'll find another after a while." She paused for a moment before speaking again " I still rather believe she's just a frightened chicken who cant face her mommy for failing to graduate. She'll turn up eventually when her mother's anger is replaced with worry."
She looked into his eyes, normally she didn't find any interest in other peoples features but the shade of green to her.. it seemed almost unnatural. Maybe he is wearing contacts..? she thought while he spoke about Penelope being 'kidnapped.' He could be right, people do get snatched up every once in a while... "Maybe so..but if i were the kidnapper, I would have chosen someone more worth while.. Someone who I could cash in a large sum of ransom money. Then again there's also kidnappers who just rape or enjoy killing who knows people have all sorts of motives for various acts of violence these days."
She watched as the waitress brought out this mans food and it lead her to question where the hell her food could possibly be considering she almost always ordered the same thing and was there before him as well. Her train of thought jumped again at his question. It was a swift change in topic but then again to see someone of her age studying in summer was considered to be very odd indeed. "Yes, I do study quite often actually... and as for friends, They are at the beach. I don't do water" Her response was at least partly true, she knew people who would be at the beach today, and she did have quite a fear of water. The only lie was that she had called them her friends. "busy later? As of this moment no i won't be but who knows? I might get a call to hang out or something."
She blinked and watched him just invite himself to her table, she was already feeling tired from the amount of social interaction that was so rare for her. Even so she was kind enough to rearrange her books so that there was room for him to eat and not get crumbs on her sketch book. She then continued with the problem she had been working on determined to finish before her food finally appeared When he asked her about her 'hard' looking math she giggled. The sound was sweet and genuine, she was truly amused and a slight smile danced upon her lips. "It's only simple Stats. You look like your of college age, have you not taken it yet?"

(I'm a whole month or so late I'm terribly sorry I've been busy and I put too much on my plate that i can actually handle and I'm tearing through it all very slowly.)
Zane tilted his head to the side, what a pessimistic girl, how divine, he thought to himself sarcastically. The girls response and behaviour didn't surprise the man at all, but her academic skills sparked the curious child within him. "Stat? You mean statistics?" He gazed at her work in wonder. Despite his college looks, Zane was not stong at math, failing twice and having to go through summer school, he and math did not fit well, maybe that was why he was like the way he was now, he mused, his lips twisting up into a wicked grin. "
That's actually really cool here miss! Stupid old me couldn't figure out the multiplication tables, but this is completely far from my understanding! How do you do it?" Upon her giggle reaching his ears, he flushed a light red, the kind of pale cute blush that reaches one's ears, and averted his unnaturally colored green eyes down to his food. "I wasn't the brightest student in school, I'm looking towards an art major, though my teachers are thoroughly interested in my gruesome depictions, they are concerned of my well being, and it is also required to take a math class or something, but it's ridiculously hard, so why should I bother?"
He finished his burger carefully, making sure he didn't spill crumbs. It was an OCD he had since he had started the whole "serial killer" charade, now everything he does, no matter how small, must be done punctually, perfectly, and not to mention, cleanly. If there is so much of a blood drop on his floor, he would spend a week scrubbing every inch of his appartment to make sure no other evidence was seen.
He gazed up from under his dark chocolate bangs, bright green eyes flashing behind his eyelids, the girl was interesting, academic, very useful for him. He supposed he would use her resources, suck the poor girl dry before he brought down the blade of death upon her, maybe date, if he could get her trust he would be golden.
Grinning cheekily, teeth like pearls behind his skin pale pink lips, he bowed his head at her politely,"I apologize for talkin to you ou of the blue though, quite rude of me actually, but you looked awfully lonely there and you looked a bit like a dejected puppy, cute, but I wanted to help out a little. I'm Zane by the by, just so I don't seem like some weird stalker to you anymore." Rubbing his cheek, as if to quiet the flush on his pale cheeks, he picked up his drink and took a swift yet deep swig, letting out a satisfied sigh as he finished and set the glass down.
