Okay... Here's the deal. I'm going crazy to find a handful of good roleplay partners. For the moment, I just want to play around on MSN Messenger. I really don't feel like roleplaying here on Menewsha right now. I will not download the instant messenger you'd rather have me use. I despise AIM and Yahoo instant messengers. I only use MSN, and no one is going to convince me to download a different messenger in order to roleplay with them.

So, if you'd like to roleplay with me, read this entire first post and then make your post. If I like the idea of roleplaying with you, I'll PM you my MSN so we can discuss roleplaying further.

I warn you now, I have high standards.

I want literate roleplay partners.
Definition of literate:
- Proper capitalization.
- The ability to use paragraphs rather than giant blocks of text or pressing enter after each sentence.
- You have to be able to spell. I understand that sometimes mistakes are made. But if you spell like a third grader on crack, then I'm not interested.
- You have to spell out your words. None of that, "I wlkd ovr 2 u & we fckd." Got it? Spell out your words!
- You need to know how to use punctuation.

I also like original roleplayers. Yes, some things are cliche, sometimes they're cliche for a reason. But if you're that pretty little vampire that always gets her way, or if you're the boy with a charming smile who seems perfect until you get in the girl's/guy's pants, then I'm not interested in you. If you reek of Mary Sue/Gary Stu, I don't want you.

- (Stereotypical) Vampires (I'm incredibly picky about vampire roleplays and so far I've only ever found one that I liked. EVER.)
- Perfect world (The kind of roleplay where everything's perfect. Ew.)
- MOST FANDOM ROLEPLAYS. @[email protected] (There are very few fandoms I'm ever interested in roleplaying, and most of them aren't anime related.)

Note:

Although one liners aren't usually very attractive, I'm guilty of them once and a while (okay, more than that with my main roleplay partner, actually). I ask that you don't be lazy and write one liners left and right, though I completely understand that they do occur, either because I might not give you enough to work with, or because writer's block hits and bullshitting a large post isn't exactly attractive either.

I also prefer quality over quantity. Although long posts are sometimes necessary and can tend to be attractive things, I don't believe that a post is better just because it's long. I'm also not one for purple prose or going overboard on details just for the sake of making posts longer.

If you are going to ditch me then have the balls to tell me so. Don't just up and vanish without a word.

What I am currently looking for:

I am currently looking for a human character for my vampire. Not necessarily as a constant food source, but for interaction, maybe friendship, possibly romance, and if you want they could be a hunter.

What I'm looking for in this human character is this:
- Limited knowledge regarding vampires. They might know all the myths and legends, but as all of them say different things, it's hard to tell which ones have truth in them. I need them to not be a specialist on the type of vampire I will be playing. Because if they are a specialist, well, it's kind of godmoding, as even the author won't know every last detail about my vampire.
- I'd prefer that the human be male. I prefer to roleplay slash. Though if the character is female, I won't entirely rule out the possibility of romance, though it's nowhere near as as high as if the character we male.
- This character must be human. That means no special powers. Seriously, humans don't have powers, so don't try to pass off Cyclops or Storm or Xavier as a normal every day human.
- Speaking of X-men... Original character only. No fanbased characters. And I swear, if you pull a Bella on me I'm going to chew you up and spit you back out.
- In keeping true with being human, any characters with unnaturally colored hair or eyes must be due to hair dye and cosmetic lenses. This isn't anime, your character can't be born with electric blue eyes and 'purple cat eyes that peer straight through your soul'.

About my vampire:

My vampire is not obscenely godmoded. There are things about him that are different, and yes, he's stronger than a human, but he's not insanely strong, or enchantingly attractive, and he doesn't sparkle in sunlight.

- He has dirty blond hair and gray-green eyes, stands at six feet tall, and wears makeup in order to hide his vampiric features.
- He tends to frequent nightclubs and works in several of them. He works in one of them as one of the different singers in a cover band.
- He can go out in the sunlight, but it'll make him sick. If he spends too much time in the sun, he will die.
- If he goes without drinking blood for a week, he will die.
- He can only consume blood and water. Consuming anything else will make him violently ill.
- Vampires aren't demons, rather they're another species a little similar to humans.

The world my vampire lives in:
- He lives in a modern day big city.
- Elves, deities, dragons, furries/anthros, and anything else of the sort do not exist.
- Vampires exist, but they aren't found around every corner.
- The majority of humans only know the superstitions regarding vampires, and don't believe that vampires truly exist.

I think that's all that needs to be said thus far. So, if you're willing to take the challenge, post in this thread.

I would like to RP... I haven't really been able to find much in the actual Role Play forums I'd like. Though I wouldn't mind doing a femslash. Something involving science fiction/fantasy is good. A huge fan of robot girls. I have one character already built who is a cyborg. Have a few animal/human characters as well. Tell me which you think you'd be interested in and I'll give you a breif description and rundown of background history. ^.^

Hmm, well I was not quite sure really. But if you have a specific character you would like to use I could base mine off sort of so it can form into an rp perhaps a bit more smoothly or whatever.

Ah, well mine are beings from a story of mine. I don't really let others play characters sharing the same bloodline as mine. Only my main roleplay partner can, because some of her characters have kids with mine, and thus are halfbreeds. XD

Well, I know you didn't mean the same bloodline, but I don't share my races with people because I've actually thought them out so fully that no one places by their natural restrictions.

I can ditch my normal bloodlines and go with a half-dragon (not my personal dragon race, but an honest to god dragon) or something. I really like to know more or less what the other person wants to do so I can adapt to it.

The cyborg is mainly based off my own imagination. I did my best to incorporate what I know about computers (I fix them for a living LOL) and humans. She's a really individual character... she's not like 7 of 9 or anything. She's actually really complex. She almost died in a motorcycle accident and when they were putting her back together a surgeon/computer programer husband/wife team (who were also her adopted parents after her origional parents died in a plane crash) decided to make her better, faster and stronger. She had problems with overheating at first but that's since been repaired. She has multiple sensors, which sometimes she turns off just so she can feel a little more normal. She also has an image program which can change her clothing within an instant. It looks like little tiles flipping all over her body. (Think Mystique from the X-men movie.) She knows how to program herself and is currently set up to basically become a large taser if someone else attempts to program her. ^.^

I wouldn't have a problem with reg slash... with the exception of I've never build a male RP character before and I would have no idea about how to go about it. But if you wanna fem slash with me first and in the meantime I can make a male character.... we could do reg slash after. (So we both feel like noobs once!) *shruggs* But it's really up to you. I think it'd be fun though.

Ah, well ok then. I will come up with something, I need to make a new character and such so it may take a bit. I think I am going to do something with an elf if that is ok.

As long as it's not the totally stereotypical kinda elf, that's fine. I might end up using my dragon and my own elf (she doesn't know she's an elf though, long story) if you don't mind. ^_^

Yeah... I don't have anything against elves, just... When everyone is roleplaying with Legolas wannabes, it's annoying as hell and makes you wanna start hurting people.

XD I know how that feels, it really is just annoying.

Let me know when you figure out the character you want to use, then we can figure out the setting. I actually would really like to use my dragon and elf, but that would mean a much older theme. Without electricity and such.
