Guys, don't get me wrong: Because I have an elite character doesn't mean I'm some sort of side host o.o Or am I? Okay, reality is hard, now I'm feeling like some sort of ignorant runt .___. It's really sad though, an event taking care of this... But it was unexpected to be so... Messy in the end that it needed about 56 turns to actually come to an end. With people not understanding, or feeling like they are forced... Yes, maybe the bird song must not have been heard everywhere, which would be more useful for the people who aren't so online... But was that mentioned earlier? I think so, but I had foolhardy ignored it.
Anyway, Pip seriously PMed me and Annalesia that she quitted, and we can't force her to stay now can we? Yes I know, finish what you started, who says A must say B and everything else... But we can't force Pip to stay, and thus she left.

Basically, what I'll have to do now is wait for Anna. Once I have spoken to her and gotten her agreement for terminating this event, I will do so.
With Darcy and Seraphin's death, the illusions will fade. It may be best if they wake up without memories of Darcy or Seraphin as that may disturb the roleplay even in my absence. However, do what you guys and Anna think is best.

hmn... not to nitpick the idea (though it may seem like what this will do) if we completely forgot about the two characters, their memories would have huge gaps in it. memories that need the wholes filled, or else itll fall apart.

i see it all the time in the memory change scenes in both fantasy and sci fi. the human, or humanoid, mind is a powerful computer. it makes the memories through a special chemical process. however, when you change things to drastically through that, it leaves... wrinkles for the brain to puzzle over and explore, which often leads to, like ive said before, the brain throwing off the memory wipe or refilling in the holes... which can often lead to some embarrassing situations.

instead of completely killing off the characters and mem wiping the others, why not let them keep thier memories and give them one of the two leaving for like a different school or something. that way if darcy ever wants to come back, and were still here, wouldnt that leave that open for her?

Yes, but if Darcy died, the illusion would fade, and it'd be over.

It is a tempting idea to have this to come back to, but it wouldn't be possible. I've made up my mind.

I don't always have the best patience and I like to make my opinion known. I was out of line as well because I was upset about what had happened to my character being aged mentally--even though I accepted the plot that Flux and Pip had worked out. So I am very sorry if I offended anyone for the tone of my posts.

Regardless of the exit strategy, it can't be instant - now only is it disorienting upon exiting from the dream, Embeth's memory has to be erased. I had a plan for doing that, but as yet Quetzalcoatl (as either Archimedes Tesla or Ashley Thorne) has never seen the Dream Lord and doesn't know the current reality is a dream; this also goes for Aurora, Embeth, and Izzhrae.

An introduction, either from the Dream Lord or one of the characters aware of the Dream Lord, would at least allow the characters to act on that knowledge, especially since we only have to die to wake up in reality.

The dream lord practically 'is' (can the dreamlord be?) an uglier version of darcy... Hence all her negative emotions.
