Also, I figured out the plot twist of the well, decade they live in, but of course you can't know it, although there WILL be hints...

EDIT: Yes... She doesn't have the orb. But NO ONE knows that. There's chance that Cain would assume she's the thief of Moon Orb, if he's there, and approach her, and then she/them have to flee (he could be taken as accomplice when they barge in the inn) and such.
I need to finish up Saith's profile. I'm just trying to come up with an epic history that explains his hatred of all things elven. I have some ideas, but none of them are really what I was looking for. Hmmm, the thinking continues~!
I have the same issue, especially with some of my more vulgar characters. I try to think about movies that are PG-13. They usually can get away with hell, damn, shit, bitch... but the f-bomb, not so much. So I try to limit my use of that word. The rest... so long as I keep them under 5 each, I call it a day. XD I do love the use of f---, though. It's so deception. Obviously I'm just blurring out the word... free. Because it's such a scary word.

That's always the issue. Keeping in character. x_x Though, like you, I'm not a big swearer. I actually avoid it unless I'm super pissed. Even then, it feels weird to say it. But still, it does get your point across so much better. I mean, hearing swearing from a non swear, you know something's seriously wrong!
I'm omnomnoming right now. Food feels so good in teh tummeh. :D

Too bad for him that at least at first, Mae's rather cool lady, too, and stern as she's practically his boss. No romantic involvement in work place ruuule. Last part was a joke. KIND OF.
So I hatched up a new idea. What if Saith gets caught. Like caught caught. He wad working with Laeth to help her flee and she betrays him. Maybe she was on to him. After all, he wants to steal the goblet. So he gets caught and that's when he reveals that he can help Mae. And yadda yadda yadda. Kev, overhearing that she's about to ride off with a drow steps up and says he's coming too.
That actually sounds goooood. Like fun kind of good. XD Mae wouldn't trust him much. 'Cause who betrays one person can do it again, but she wouldn't be too "I AM WATCHING YOU" about it... at least not the way he could think she's racially hating on him.
I actually had the thought Kev arrives amid all this and he's like, you need personal guard and Mae's like: "But I've got guards, comp... *pause, shifty eyes*etent guards... Fine, pass the test and you can be my guard.=.="
LOL! Comp *hesitation* etent guards. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. Competent. Psh, Kev will pass with flying colors! I love that idea. I can see it now. The other guards hate him and he's like, "Just shoo them away. I'll protect you and it'll look less weird traveling with a pack of useless men. I mean 'competent' men."
She's used to feel confident in skills of those around her and suddenly, she comes to nasty realization she can't. It stinggsss. Especially if it's someone you're supposed to trust your life with.

I don't know why, but it makes me think that Saith and Mae fall in love. Maybe it's at a festival of sorts. He dances with her and sings along to the a song. They have a really fun time. But something happens to him and they are forever separated. And she just can't forget that night and him and she's just lost in that moment with him.
... that's WAY too depressing. I dun want it to happen. .______.
Oh my... Why I am so evil and think that's somehow an amazing idea?
Perhaps... What separates them can be solved out in another RP arc/thread? Like... 3-10 years later, bam, something changes and/or it turns out she has never given up on seeing him again and we meet up with the old crew (those already met and some shrouded in mystery ), having changed, matured or stayed the goddarnit same.
