The blonde chuckled as he pushed the cup towards Alec. "Have a seat." he stated. before he sipped his own drink. "There is a bedroom for you. On the second floor, it's across the hall." The man stirred his tea a bit before he put it back again. "You can use the food I have stored. If you run out of something, write it down on the blackboard and go shopping at the end of the week. I prefer you going out on errands on Fridays." he informed the other with a small smile.

The purple haired boy blinked, lookign around. "M-me?" He asked, pointing at himself with a slight blush, shifting a bit in his seat. He reached for the cup, carefully picking it up and sipping it a little. Eh, it was warm..Wow. He smiled, nodding. "Alright, thank you sir, but I don't have any money." He said, well that last part just slipped out, but it was still true. Though the other would probably give him the money if he needed it for the errands, right? "Why on friday if I may ask?"

Jack chuckled and nodded. "Yes you!" he smiled before he just sipped his tea and opened the paper again. There were a lot slaves missing from their homes...Jack just hoped that whoever did it, would leave his alone. When the boy said he had no money, Jack began to chuckle before laughing. "Silly! You don't pay with your own money, you pay with mine." he said before he looked up and shook his head slightly. "I get my paycheck every Thursday, I always leave enough money behind on Fridays so you can get groceries and what not." That was a partial explanation of why on Friday. Everything you buy for this household, will be of my money, that includes your clothes, health care and what not, since well. I hate to say it, but you're my property as well."

Alec smiled shyly, sipping the tea again. He smiled sheepishly, blushing lightly, a little embarrassed as he rubbed the back of his neck. "Alright." He said with a small nod as the other told him he would leave money to do groceries. "Well, it's the truth sir." He said as he listened to the other explain. "But if I may ask, sir, where do you work or what do you do?" He asked somewhat curious as he swung his legs a bit since they didn't quite reach the floor.
((Sorry, I've been busy with school and stuff))

Jack sipped his tea and just enjoyed his morning. Truth was, he didn't mind Alec at all. The boy was sweet, curious and could be of some help. "My job?" he repeated. "I work for a bank." he smiled. "It's in Baker's street. You know, that big building." he said as he smiled. "That's where I work. I make sure that shops get their money when they want to take some and I keep record of their rent and what not."

"Ah, well, actually, I've never been outside much, so I don't really know where it is, but it sounds good." Alec said, looking down at the cup of tea before looking back up at the man with a small, shy smile. "Is there anything you need me to do today actually sir?" The boy asked softly, watching the man with curious eyes as he wondered what he'd have to do, thought he'd wondered why he hadn't seen any servants around the house, well since most people with such a big house usually had a lot of servants, then again, a lot of houses looked big to him.

Jack finished his tea and slowly got up to put his cup in the sink before he turned to look at the other. "You could do the dishes. And there is still some laundry that needs to be washed and folded." he said before thinking. "Then there is the rest of all the things that needs to be dusted." he spoke before he made sure his clothing was perfect before he picked up his jacket and got into it. "Well then. I'm off. Be sure to at least wash the dishes and do the laundry." he said and with a pat on the others head he was off to work.

"O-okay sir." Alec said, watching the man leave. He bit his lip slightly and tried shaking off any thoughts about strangers wandering in here. "Well, better get it over with.." He muttered to himself as he gathered the dirty dishes and let some warm water pour into the sink before adding some soap and starting to wash the dishes. He hummed little, just because he didn't feel too comfortable alone int he house.
