Alright this is a school based role play between Anan and myself.

Basic plot: A human/wolf hybrid is enrolled into a human school by his father, to try and get him to learn to fit in with the humans. When students notice he's a hybrid, they begin to bully him. The hybrid manages to make one friend, though- and eventually falls for him. Will his friend return his feelings? Or turn his back on the hybrid and begin teasing him like all the others when he finds out?

Peter sat in class. It was a beautiful day outside- sunny with very few clouds in the great, bright blue sky. It was warm, especially for November. Such a beautiful day, and he was stuck inside, learning about chemistry. He sat near the window, looking out, pencil in hand to write notes that he wasn't completely paying attention to. When he needed to write, he looked down at his doodled in notebook, his shaggy, dirty blonde hair falling into his deep blue eyes, and scribbled something down that would only make sense to him.

It was mid-morning, only mid-morning, and he couldn't wait to get out. Today was too nice of a day to be wasting like this. He wanted to grab his skateboard and head out to the park. Then he heard some guys in the corner talking about the new kid. The new kid's hype had been going on and on. First it was because he was just the new kid, then it was because they found out he was... different. Peter never listened enough to know why the new kid was different, all he knew was that he was, but that didn't matter. Peter had seen the guy in a few of his classes, but never said anything to him, he hadn't really looked at him before all that much- other than to double back the first day he was there because Peter hadn't seen him before.

He decided it might be a good idea to talk to the guy. It seemed like he might need someone, or at least, to know not everyone was against him. Until then, Peter just sat in class, scribbling, doodling and waiting to get out.

t hd been apparent Shauan wouldn't be able to hide his hybrid status for llong, having been placed in Phys. ed. So the first day he'd been there, almost everyone had found out. Usually the sweater constantly kept around his waist was enough to hide his tail, and the bandanna on his head hid his ears. Howeer, he'd been forced to wear the black shorts and red sirt which were the shool's gym uniform, so of course the first thing everyone had noticed was his tail, and the marngs around his wrists, and on his calves.

For the last week since then, he had been teased an tormented every day, by narly all the studets. It only got worse when one of temad pulle his bandanna off in the middlle of class, expoing his white, fluffy ears that matched pefecty withhs tail, and long white hair...

Speaing of Phys ed... Thats where the golden eyed hybrid currently was. The class was outside runing laps, a warm up before the began a game of soccer.

Next class Peter had was one with the new kid in it. Peter felt a bit bad he didn't remember his name, but when he talked to him, he'd be sure to get it. No matter how the kid was different, Peter was going to make an effort- after the last week of torment, the kid deserved at least that.

When class finally ended, Peter closed the notebook on his doodles of dogs playing tug of war with a ragdoll and shoved it and his textbook into his bag. Thank God they were allowed to carry back packs around the school. The books would just be too much to carry otherwise. He slung the messenger bag strap over his shoulder and walked to his next class. They didn't have assigned seating in there really, so Peter would break his habit of sitting in the same seat and go find a seat near him. HE still felt bad for not knowing his name, Peter thought it began with an S... or maybe it was a C? Either way, he was going to find out. He wasn't the first person to class, but he wasn't the last. The new kid wasn't there yet. All but two seats were filled conveniently however, so no matter which one he picked, the new kid would be near him. Instead of waiting, he sat down in one of the seats and waited.

Shauran had faked an injury around the beginning of the game, so he went back into the school to change back into his usual clothes. He had sat in the changeroom the whole time, and left to his next class when the bell rang. When he arrived, there was only one seat left open. He sighed, and went to sit down, his tail swishing in time with his hair as he moved.

Peter's nerves didn't start to fail him until the boy he had been waiting for walked into the room. When he sat, he looked over at him and smiled a little, then looked away. It took him a few moments to decide he had the capability to actually speak, "Hey. I'm Peter." he told him, smiling again. "So you're the new kid, huh?" he asked.

Shauran had sat down. Not really expecting anyone to be nice to him, he was shocked when the boy beside him introduced himself. "Uh... Yeah, the name's Shauran...

Peter smiled. He knew it sounded something like that. "I take it things haven't been going too swimmingly for you, aye?" he said, not noticing the tail; he just thought Shauran had really long hair at that moment. He did notice the ears though; he didn't stare, but from what he could see, those were his actual ears. Secretly, Peter read manga like the obese ate cake, so the ears made him kind of excited. Peter had heard rumors that there actually were hybrids in real life, but as much as he wanted to, he didn't believe them.

Peter looked to the front of the room briefly, noticing the teacher didn't seem too keen on teaching anything, as she was scribbling viciously and the rest of the class was chatting it up as well. When Peter looked back at Shauran, he then noticed his eyes, "Whoa, nice contacts." he said with a small laugh of surprise. He hadn't noticed the other's gold eyes before. Peter had colored contacts like them at home, the only thing was, Peter didn't know Shauran's weren't contacts.

"No, my time here has been pretty miserable so far..."Shauran replied, twiching one ear slightly. He was a little nervous, as everyone else who had acted kindly to him here had only tricked him into trusting them. So far, that had gotten him beat up three times in the past couple of weeks that he'd been there.

He was a little confused when the boy, Peter, commented on him wearing contacts. "What contacts? This is my natural eye color..." He said, with a slight smirk. "And before you ask, the rumors about me being a hybrib? Those are true... I am half human, half Concian..." He admitted his true lineage, partially cconvinced theat Peter would not use it against him. He didnt know why, but he was feeling more at ease around him, and felt drawn to him. He remembered his parents saying once that their kind are drawn only to their other half, their destined. Or, in human terms, their soulmate.

When one of Shauran's ears twitched, a tingle moved into Peter's stomach. They are real! he thought. "I know you're a hybrid, I can see that... I wasn't expecting that to be the rumored difference, but okay..." he said, "It's fine. I'll adapt. Anyway, those are really your eyes? Huh..." he said, leaning a little bit closer to get a better look. He only lingered looking at them a few moments before moving back with a shrug of his shoulders.

Peter looked around, trying not to stare at Shauran, or anything that might make him uncomfortable. He was sure that by now Shauran's paranoia level was on high and looking to long would make him ill at ease.

Shauran sighed,and looked out the window. "I wish I was back at my old school..." He said. Back there, he'd had friends, and even a boyfriend. He had enjoyed his life there. He looked back at Peter, and really looked him over. He looked nearly identical tohis ex-boyfriend. He'd had to end the relationship, becaus he knew long distance would not work between him and Demetrii.

"Where was your old school?" Peter asked, leaning back against his chair now. The casual air that was starting to grow between them was reassuring. At least, Peter thought so and was becoming a bit more relaxed.

"It was out east somewhere... I'm not quite sure where, since it was out in the midle of no where..." Shauran replied.

Peter laughed a little, "You don't even know where you were at school last?" he tilted his head, "Do you move around a lot?" Peter asked trying to figure out a little about the guy he was talking to.

"The reason I can't remember the last town is because I haven't lived in a town since I was nine years old. I was going to a boarding school before I moved." Shauran replied. "One specially suited for people with.... 'special talents'."

"And it didn't have a name?" Peter asked. If Shauran lived in a boarding school he had to have lived in a town, even if he didn't live in a house and he did live at school, Peter thought. And if he could tell Peter the name of the school, he might know where Shauran had moved here from, though, it was possible he wouldn't, of course. He was getting the feeling Shauran just didn't want to tell him anything. Peter was only trying to get to know the kid, so he couldn't figure out why he wouldn't want to make a friend in the school who would be on his side.

Then Peter considered the last part of what Shauran had said, "Special talents live having canine ears and a unique eye color?" he asked

"It was a school for people who were different.... Halflings, people with special powers like telekinesis, telepathy, teleportation, transformation... Stuff that a large portion of the general population would call freaks... or would have burned at the stake way back when...." Shauran replied. "when one leaves the school, they're made to swear they'll never reveal the name or location of the school, to help protect the staff and students."

Peter's eyes widened, "That is so awesome! It's like X-men!" he said, then he asked in a whisper, "So, what's your power?" he asked with one-hundred-percent curiosity. He wasn't even thinking about it making Shauran uncomfortable anything. Peter's geek side was coming out again.

Shauran looked around slighty, not noticing anyone paying much attention. "If it's not obvious, I'm a half-breed... with that comes a bunch of powers... Telekinesis, telepathy, and transformation, as well as a few other majycks...."

"You have all of those?" Peter asked, by this point his eyes as wide as a kid in a candy store. He wasn't looking at Shauran as a piece of meat, however, but rather the most amazing being he had ever met. "Could... Could I see sometime?" he asked, having leaned forward again and lowered his voice so no one else would hear.

"Um... Maybe... I'm not fond of showing most humans my wolf form, or my other powers...." He admitted, a slight pink tinge covering his pale cheeks.

Peter laughed at Shauran's blush, "Well, I can understand that. Considering all the crap you've been through lately..." he said and sighed, "Maybe when we're friends." Peter offered, casually.

"It's not even from just recently... I've had some friends who showed their powers to humans, and got thrown into counselling... worst case, one got put in an asylum...." Shauran said. He'd hated that, because it had beenfamily members of those frends who had put them in those places. The one in the Asylum, he still went and visited every week, just so he could help him train his powers, as they both had fire magic, and telepathy and telekinesis. "But I would like for us to be friends..." He said, smiling slightly.

Peter was slightly confused by the story Shauran had told him, but in the end he think he caught the gist of it. He blinked a few times, trying to find a response, but Shauran then added he would like to be friends with Peter as well, and Peter smiled at that, "Well then, from here on out, you've got me." he said with a wink, and a small chuckle.

Shauran as a little surprised, butthat quickly changed to joy. Smiling widely, he said, "Great... I was staing to think everyone around here hated me..."
