~~This is a story of epic craziness belonging to the strange mind of Kat with the help of that odd Nicole girl. The other poor creatures are just along for the ride/making the ride crazier! The story starts in a world not much different than our own...~~


Kat lay on her back beside a stream looking up at the afternoon sun. This world wasn't much of a sane one and she wasn't ever exactly helping that, but hey, she loved having adventures! She was in a warm sunbeam and feeling drowsy because of it. Perhaps she could just have a nice long nap today....

"KAT IF YOU EVEN THINK OF FALLING ASLEEP I WILL MURDER YOU DO YOU UNDERSTAND!!" Nicole yelled landing next to her Kat demon friend. "You my friend are not allowed to sleep." Nicole glared grumpily at her best friend, ruffling her large black wings before folding them neatly. The reason for the fallen angel's anger? Simple her friend had decided that it would be fun to wake Nicole up in a rather abrupt manner early that morning. Particularly through a bucket of cold water thrown at the the angel.

Kat squealed, jumping a foot in the air, her eyes wide. "NIKKY!!!" she yelped in surprise and a slightly guilty look. She started to back away in fear in the direction of the nearest tree, her black tail twitching nervously. "Hehe..." she chuckled awkwardly. "You sure found me really quick..." She took one more cautious step, then bolted for the tree and scampered up it, her pretty black cat tail trailing behind her.

"Come back here Kat." Nicole growled going to stand under the tree, "I'm not above flying into the tree to get you but I'd prefer not to." She paused looking thoughtful, "Or I could just zap it with a bolt of energy, how do you feel about falling fifteen feet my dear friend?" she asked, an evil smile curling her lips.

Kat shivered and clung to a tree branch. "You can't make me let go!!" she wailed. "I'm not coming down because you're going to blast me with an energy bolt if I do!! I-I'll....I'll burn you if you zap the tree!!!"

"I will not zap you.... I'm not that cruel, even if you do deserve it. I'd just whack you around a little bit, nothing too serious." Nicole called up to her friend. "Either come down here or the tree gets zapped, that simple."

"Aw, but you shouldn't hurt the tree, Nikky!" Kat squealed. "It hasn't done anything wrong!! You can be so cruel!" Very slowly, she slunk down the tree headfirst, clinging to the trunk. She stopped a few feet from the ground, looking at Nicole in apprehension.

Nicole looked back at Kat an eyebrow raised. Her face simply saying 'move it.'

(is somebody going to walk in on this insanity? Kit or Arand? I'm considering what i want to make my guy i'm think either a wolf demon or like the prince of demons or something.

(I like wolf! have a cute dog demon!!!!!!!!!!!! and I intend for it to start raining soon and that to be when we meet kit. then Arand can come and have a heart attack of seeing kit kat)

A glimmer came into Kat's eyes and she sprung from the tree, landing on all fours atop Nicole's head for a second before springing away again, cackling madly as she ran.

"KAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!" Nicole yelled running at high speed after the insnae girl. "YOU ARE SO GOING TO GET IT" she yelled. Nicole snapped open one of her wings sending a barrage of sharpened feathers zooming past Kat's head.

Kat screamed, dropping into a roll and avoiding Nicole's attack. "Watch where you're throwing those things!! you could poke an eye out!!!" she snapped.

A loud crack of thunder broke across the sky and Kat froze, her fur falling limp. A light pattering could be heard in the distance and Kat slowly turned to Nicole with a horrified expression. Rain!!!

"If I had wanted to hit you, they would have." Nicole said calmly.

When the rain started Nicole chuckled slightly and gave Kat an expression that said, 'you expect me to help you? really?' Nicole turned around and began to walk away, feeling being left in the rain was punishment enough for Kat.

(i'll do the wolf demon but... he's going to have to be serious. i'm thinking i'll actually do both the wolf demon is the demon prince and by default he is extremely serious.)

(oh dear, poor thing will go crazier than Arand!!)

Kat's eyes went wide and wavered with tears as Nicole walked away. Her cat ears flattened against her head and her body began to shake. "Nikky...?" she called in a wavering voice. Another loud crack of thunder had her jumping and Kat started to run blindly, trying to get out of the rain. Suddenly she smacked into something and sprawled on the ground with a squeaky meow. She blinked and looked around to see a girl sitting on the ground, rubbing her head...a girl with golden ears and a cat tail!

(well i figure arand needs someone who will sympathize with him.)

Nicole rolled her eyes and set underneath a tree with rather thick foliage. Meaning she was relatively protected from the rain. She looked out and wondered, a) where her soulbond was and b) when Kat would regain enough since to not run around blindly and actually start looking for Nicole.

"OW!!!" the new girl complained, glaring at Kat. Kat was on her feet in a second and grabbed the girl's golden ears.
"Oh my gosh!!! They're real?! WHO ARE YOU?!!!!!" Kat gushed, her eyes filled with excitement.
The girl rolled away from Kat, protecting her ears. "Of course they're real! Why do people keep asking me that!!!!"
"because I have ears too!" Kat said proudly, grabbing her own ears and wagging her tail in the air. The girl gaped at Kat. "Hello, I'm Kat and I'm a cat demon!"
"I-I'm Kitara!" the other girl stuttered. "I'm a cat demon too!" Kitara's face flushed, showing that she was normally a very shy person.
Kat grabbed her in a hug and squeezed her. "How awesome!! I have to show you to Nicole!!" Kat exclaimed, grabbing Kitara's hands and dragging her through the rain.

(you gave me absolutely nothing to do.....)

Nicole leaned against the base of the tree, just looking out at the rain, needless to say this wasn't a very exciting task. She began to boredly toss a ball of energy back and forth, making it grow a little bit more with each toss.

(you could have her get bored and come after them!!!)

Kat saw the ball of light and dragged the protesting Kitara right up to Nicole. "Look what I found!!" she exclaimed excitedly. Standing next to each other, the two cat demons really looked alike. Kitara was shorter and her long hair a shinny brown and her ears golden. Her tail was longer than Kat's and like a long fluffy rope of elegant silk. Kat may have been taller and the one to take charge, but Kitara was actually the older one, but at first glance they were twins of light and dark.

(that is so un-nicole though)
Nicole raised, "You found another cat demon, great....." Nicole stood and looked at the new cat demon and said "and what might your name be?" Nicole had a sense of forboding about this one Kat was enough to deal with.... two would be hell.

(everytime i try and right cat demon, i write kat demon)

(she's always going to rescue Kat though when she thinks she's gotten too lost! with Kit I stopped doing that because no one else would get Kat demon!)

Kitara flicked her tail nervously, glad this other girl seemed more relaxed. She was out of breath from all the running with Kat!
"Hi..." she said hesitantly. "My name is Kitara. Its nice meet you...um?"
Kat beamed at Nicole, very proud of her 'accomplishment'.

(true....)

"Nice to meet you, Kit." Nicole said before turning a flat gaze at Kat, "I swear if she's a bit like you, I will truly murder you this time, one hyper cat demon is my quota and since you found her it shall be your fault I went past my quota."

(I have no freakin' clue how to bring in my character! his name is Zev by the way short for Zevvin.)

(don't look at me!! I'm about to brink Arand in)

Kat winced, her ears flattening once again. "Yes Nikky...." she mumbled. Kitara looked at Kat, a bit confused and looked back at Nicole!
"My name is Kitara! I didn't say Kit!" she whined.

Arand flew through the rain, looking for Nicole. she'd gone and run off this morning after that crazy friend of hers, Kat had...and now was looking for Nicole in a wet sky. What a wonderful day, he thought sourly. He spotted some people on the ground and landed beside the trio. Trio?!

Nicole looked flatly at Kitara and said, "Kit and Kat. It's cute." she said in a very bored voice. Nicole looked up and smiled upon seeing her soulbond, "Arand!" she yelled happily.

"Where the hell am I?" Zev asked himself for about the millionth time. Some stupid demons had decided to revolt and had thrown Zev out of the kingdom. Only problem was, Zev had no idea where he was and thus couldn't figure out how to get back home. He growled in frustration, "This is just great the demon prince can't even find his way home....great, just great."

Kat and Kitara turned to each other, Kat grinning madly and Kitara wearing her usual confused face.

Arand just gaped at them in stark horror. He turned to Nicole suddenly and shook her shoulders lightly, a madness in his eyes. "Please tell me that I am dreaming! Why are there two of them?!!!" he yelped.

"I wish you were, I really wish you were and that I was too. There are two of them the new one is named Kit." Nicole said leaning into her souldbond as she glared over at Kat.

Zev heard voices in the distance and his grey ears perked as he began moving towards the noise, maybe he could find someone to tell him where he was and then get back home. He had a feeling the usurpers were making a mess out of his kingdom and knew he needed to get back there as soon as possible.

Kitara clenched her hands with their tiny claws into her white and green dress and pouted at Nicole and Arand, though she managed to look apologetic for her rudeness at the same time. "My name is Kitara!"

Kat fell to the ground giggling, then jumped back up and started to skip around chanting loudly. "Kit-Kat, Kit-Kat!!!"

Kitara's ears flattened. This kat was very hyper and far too excited!
