Marcus rested back and smiled at her. "But still, thank you." he said and turned on his side, pulling the covers high over his body, making sure he would be warm. His hair was a bit damp, but it didn't matter, the room was warm and so was his bed. Yawning lightly he closed his eyes and before she could even leave the room he was fast asleep, his arms around a pillow as he slept soundly.
Marcus was truly happy with her, even though their marriage was arranged, he got the feeling things would work out one day.

Layla walked out of the door and handed the bowl to a butler " thank you he will be feeling better now, i can not believe we i will be getting married in 2 days i am very nervous " Layla hands began to shake a bit she felt a lot of fear. She was being forced to mary a man she barely knew but maybe it might not be so bad...

The older man smiled at the girl and took the bowl. "Don't worry too much. " he stated simply before he showed Layla her room. "Marcus is a very good mannered man, he won't do you any harm." Edward looked at her. "If I may, how old are you exactly?" he asked curious.

" i am only 15 and i am already getting married .....to be honest sometimes i wish i had more time to be a child, so i can run in the meadow with my younger sister and play with our dolls....." Layla began to think of the sweet air running through her hair and feeling it cares her cheek.

Edward let out a soft sigh. "You really are that young?" he asked before he thought of things Marcus would have the right to do to her. "Hmn." he hummed softly. "Well...You better be prepared to say no to Marcus. He may be a nice man, but he is still a man with needs." the older man looked at the girl before he smiled. "You'll have a great time with your husband, I'm sure."

Layla had a very innocent mind her mother had never talked to her about * the touch of a man if you will* Layla had never been kissed before. It was a custom back than for the husband to talk to his new bride about what was to be done on there wedding night. Layla pondered about what the butler had told her but she brushed it off since she did not understand what he meant at all.

Edward noticed that she didn't understand. With a small smile he backed up to the door. "I'll let you know when dinner is served. Have a look around the mansion if you please." he stated and left Layla to explore her new home for now. He would have to talk to Marcus about the girls innocence. It could either mean trouble, because Marcus was persistent on such topic. The older man moved to the kitchen to wash up and prepare a few things already.

Layla gazed upon the beauty of her room the window where huge and her bed was soft like a cloud. Layla looked at the flowers that were placed in her room they were roses she loved roses.She soon left her room and bumped into one of the maid " i am so sorry" she made the maid knock down some folded clothes " would you like me to help you i feel so bad for knocking the clothes out of your hands?"

The blonde girl chuckled when Layla bumped into her. "Oh, no, don't worry about it, Miss." she chimed. She began to fold the clothes back up instantly, within the minute she was done and had the clothes in her hands again. "See, all done." the girl blinked a bit. But then she knew. "Hmn, you're the masters new fiancée, right?" she asked. "Nice to meet you, I'm Marylin." she bowed sweetly. "I bet you're going to like it here."

Layla watched her as she folded the clothes really fast " wow umm thank you for your welcome " Layla smiled at the girl kindly she then continued her walk around the house

The girl had smiled sweetly back at her. "Just ask me if you need anything." she chimed and skipped off happily to continue her duty as a maid.

Layla found a garden outside in back of the mansion she began to tend the roses she loved them a lot suddenly the butler appeared

Edward smiled at her. "You better stay off the roses, Marcus tends to them himself personally." he stated. "And I have a nice cup of tea for you. It's already three, you know. Marcus is awake now too. " he stated before he stood up straight and smiled at the little girl.
Edward could've been Layla's father or even grandfather, it was just so crazy.

Layla slowly got up as well and faced the kind butler " oh i am sorry i had no idea do you think he will be upset with me? Wow thank you so much for the tea i love tea" Layla began to drink the sweet and enjoyable tea

The butler smiled before he shook his head. "No, I don't think he will." he said before he backed off. Marcus soon enough sat down on one of the chairs that was arranged outside, where the tea had been prepared for them. HE took his cup and sipped the tea. "Thank you, Edward." he stated before he looked at Layla.
Marcus had made sure he would be warm and would stay so as well.

Layla looked at Marcus face it looked better it was no longer red and his eyes cleared up they looked a bit watery before " you seem to be feeling a lot better. You have a wonderful home and everyone here has been nothing but kind and welcoming to me" Layla finished her tea she then wondered if life would remain as peaceful here once they were married

Marcus smiled as he crossed his legs and sipped his tea. "Thank you. I do feel better." he said before he put his cup down delicately. "I'm glad that you like it. The staff can gossip a bit though." he warned her. "But they won't speak any evil of us. I'm sure of that." he looked at her before he picked up his tea again and finished it. "Would you like another cup?" he asked her as he took the pot and poured himself another.

" please and thank you" she raised her cup towards him so it would be much easier for him to pour her tea. " If you do not mind my asking will your mother and father be at the wedding its just i have never meet them and i was wondering if i could meet them then since you meet my mother and father already and all?" Layla smiled at him kindly , her eyes lite up wonderfully as the sun's gentle light rested upon them.

He smiled at her and poured her some tea as well. he then set down the pot again before he settled down in his chair again. He listened to her question before he chuckled. "They won't come. I'm not from this country, my parents still live overseas so, it's hard to stop by." he said and looked at her. "I don't think they would be interested in such affair." he sipped his tea before Marcus took a good look at her, she was gorgeous, but still so young...
He brushed his hair back with his hand and sighed slightly. He would have to wait...for three to four years...

Layla felt bad for him what mother and father would not like to join there son on such a day? Don't they care enough about him to be there for him on his wedding day ? " oh i see" Layla placed her hands on her lap and folded them very lady like . Layla was very well mannered but she was still a child as well

Marcus smiled a bit. "Ah, don't be sad for me, I don't like them anyways." he stated before he rested back and just enjoyed the warm sun on his skin. "Do you like horses?" he asked her, just trying to get to know her in a sweet manner.

Layla looked at him with her innocent eyes " yes they are wonderful gifts from God i use to ride on them when i was younger but i stopped because i fell off and got hurt " Layla began to remember the time she fell off the horse and hurt her back. She crossed her legs very lady like while sitting in the chair

Marcus smiled and looked at her. He was quite relaxed, dropping some formalities, such as a straight posture and such. When she spoke he just chuckled. "You should get back to riding. That way we can have small trips together." The blonde just watched the girl. "I have very kind-hearted horses. When everything is settled we should have a ride."

Layla smiled gently " okay sure i guess" she was a bit scared on getting back on a horse but she figured everything would be all right. " so umm when will the wedding be again?" Laya was nervous about the wedding she still felt it was a huge mistake

Marcus soon enough moved from his chair to stretch out a bit. "Otherwise we could have a Shetland pony in front of a small cart." he offered. When she asked about the wedding he sighed. "In two days we'll sign the papers." he said before he sat down beside her and rested his arm around her shoulders. "You'll be fine."
