The pair has been inseperable since they were born and despite the popular idea that best friends should date the two are like siblings and simply roll their eyes at anything that suggests otherwise. With her looks Carlyn could've easly been another popular cheerleader however she chose to stand by Simon's side which happens to be far away from the popular circle at their school.

Brief Bio: Simon grew up on the outskirts of town with Carlyn as his best friend and is the creator of her nickname, something he made up in the third grade and has stuck ever since. His goofiness makes for a nice match with Carlyn's more serious nature. Like any high school boy Simon dreams of dating the popular girl at their school and has dubbed his quest for Jaely his own personal 'mission impossible'

Brief Bio: Jaely has grown up cushioned by her parents' bank accounts and has lived the luch life every girl dreams of. However her large sums of money have spoiled her, making her to truly believe that she has a birth right of receiving whatever she likes, including people. Paired with the high school sports star and leading the cheerleading squad of their school, Jaely has discovered moments of false bliss and plans on doing anything to keep her life the way it is.

Carlyn sighed as her alarm rang for the third time and hit the 'off' button with the heel of her hand before forcing herself to crawl out of bed. She had showered the night before and took her light brown hair out of the braids she had left it in to brush out her small waves. She dressed simply in a pair of dark washed jeans paired with a flowy black top and quickly tied her long hair into a ponytail on her head, hoping to keep stray strands out of her face.

Deciding that she was presentable, Carlyn hopped downstairs to see her best friend Simon at her kitchenette with his messy red hair tucked under a green hat and his matching wrinkled jeans and t-shirt. "Why do you feel the need to break into my house in the mornings?" Carlyn asked with an eye roll at her best friend before grabbing a banana from the fruit bowl on her counter for breakfast.

"Because your too lazy to get the door for me and someone needs to make sure you eat a good breakfast since your parents always leave early for work." Simon smiled as two pieces of toast popped out of the toaster which he layered with peanut butter before heading to the door, handing one piece of toast to Carlyn before they headed off to school.

Inside the city, Jaely was already wide awake and fixing her hair in the mirror into the perfect ponytail. There was a soccer game after school and her cheerleading uniform had been washed, steamed, and hung on the front of her closet doors for her by her parents' maid. Jaely didn't like the paired colors of purple and ice blue but the uniform hugged her figure nicely and the skirt just enough leg for her boyfriend, Jaiden. Smiling as her hair was finished, Jaely quickly mass-texted the cheerleaders to remind them all to wear their uniforms. As if they shouldn't know already... She thought with an eye roll before hurrying downstairs.

Jaely decided to skip breakfast, not wanting to add any more calories to her day before going out to her new car, a gift from her parents to drive to school in. At school, Jaely waited by the doors of the first floor gym for Jaiden before they both had to go to their first period classes, unable to find any time to meet again til after second period.

Jaiden yawned as he ran his fingers through his hair. Already showered and dressed, Jaiden grabbed his backpack and headed down to the kitchen to grab and apple for breakfast. He wasn't really a morning person and eating breakfast just made him sick to his stomach. So, as always, Jaiden ate a piece of fruit to hold him over to lunch yet not enough to make him sick.

Heading out to his truck, Jaiden double checked to see that his duffle bag was still there before putting on his Letterman jacket, a jacket he was going to have to take off once he saw his girlfriend anyway. Turning on the engine of his beat-up truck, something his well-off parents hated but Jaiden loved, Jaiden headed to school and parked in his usual spot near the gym.

Spotting his girlfriend, Jaiden smiled as he got out of the truck and walked over to her. Wrapping his arms around her waist, Jaiden placed a long, hard, tender kiss upon her lips before letting his bag fall to the floor and shaking off his jacket. Wrapping it around her shoulders, Jaiden winked at her before caressing her cheek. "Looking gorgeous as ever. Keeping the squad in order so we have sexy little cheerleaders to watch on the sidelines of the game today?" Jaiden teased with a laugh.

Jaely had to keep her control in check as she forced back a small squeal from Jaiden's kiss. They looked absolutely perfect together according to all the girls on the team and that was something Jaely was more then thrilled about. "Maybe you should be focusing on the game instead of the sexy cheerleaders." She teased as she put her arms around Jaiden's waist and standing on her toes to give him a tender kiss.

Carlyn parked in her usual spot and hurried with Simon to the school building so that they wouldn't be late to their classes, her car was normally parked in the back of the lot considering how late she like to sleep in and most spots were filled by the time they arrived. "Alas." Simon declared dramatically, causing Carlyn to give him an odd glance. "My darling, my love, my soulmate has fallen into the arms of another." Simon said as he gestured to the couple outside of the gym doors. Upon noticing what had caused Simon's outburst, Carlyn rolled her eyes with a laugh. "Aw, you're laughter at my pains only deepens the wound of unreturned love." Simon cried as he put a hand to his forehead.

"That's lovely Romeo but we're going to be late for class." Carlyn said as she tugged on his elbow to lead him to first period English.

"Another day, my sweet. Another day passes in sweet sorrow." Simon said dramatically as they went in the opposite direction of the gym, his romanticly odd speech unheard by Jaely in her small bubble of her joy.

Jaiden, also not hearing the small speech, smiled as he returned her kiss and lightly leaned her back against the gym doors, "Jae, you really are quite the tease in this uniform. How can I not look?" Jaiden said with a warm smile as his hand slipped beneath her skirt and lightly played with the hem of her ice blue spankies that had the school's emblem upon the front right above her thigh; spankies he'd seen and felt many times in their make-out sessions before games.

"Besides, the boys can hold down the fort while I watch my unbelievably gorgeous girlfriend prance around in her form hugging uniform. I only get to see it on game days, so can you blame me for looking all I can?" Jaiden added with a wink and a laugh as he buried his face in her neck to nibble and lick her skin between kisses.

Jaely felt a shiver of desire at Jaiden's kisses and quickly pressed back against his chest though her body craved for more of his touch. "You're going to make me late for class." She teased with a smile. "Then what kind of role model would I be?" She asked as she jutted out her hip and placed a hand on her side. "I'll see you after second." She said happily, giving his lips a long kiss before walking away to her second class, her hips swaying a bit more then necessary for Jaiden's eyes.

"Are we going to the game tonight?" Simon asked as he sat in his usual seat behind Carlyn.

"Are you going to be able to handle watching your soulmate cheer for another man?" Carlyn asked with a coy grin.

"I think watching the other cheerleaders bounce around will help cure my suffering." Simon said, earning a disgusted eye roll from Carlyn.

"You're unbelievable." She sighed. "We can go to the game as long as we get fries afterwards." She said, licking her lips at the prospect.

"Sweet!" Simon said in victory just as Jaely walked in the door and sat huddled with her small clique of cheerleaders, crossing her legs dramatically to reveal a bit more of thigh to which Simon let out a low whistle that only Carlyn could hear.

"Pig." She teased before turning to face a strange man in front of their class.

"Hello class, Mrs. Ruben has left for health reasons for the remainder of the year and I'll be filling in for her." Said the new teacher who seemed to have stepped directly out of a Calvin Klein ad. "My name is Mr. Levok." He announced, all of the girls in the class including both Carlyn and Jaely watching him intently. A few of the cheerleaders eyed each other with raised eyebrows while the other girls simply stared at the new teacher, barely paying attention for the rest of class.

Jaiden yawned as he slouched in his desk and closed his eyes, Jaely and her sexy moving hips occupying his thoughts as a small smile filled his lips. Listening to the teacher drone on about logarithms and how to do them, something Jaiden already knew how to do due to a private tutor his parents hired over the summer to get him ahead so he could slack off due to "sports".

"Dude," Jake whispered as he leaned forward so he could talk quietly to Jaiden, "You and Jaely hooking up after the game?"

"How am I supposed to know that?" Jaiden said with an internal eye-roll. Man, was sex all anyone thought about? Couldn't a couple have an actual relationship? Sure, they'd made love before, but it wasn't like it was the only thing he ever thought about when it came to Jaely.

"Dude, you can hook up with her any time you want. She's totally strung out over you! I'd tap her if she were my girl," Jake said before leaning back in his seat.

"Good thing she's my girl and I don't share then," Jaiden commented back, "Try the other cheerleaders, I'm sure you can get one of them to hook up with you. You've already slept with what, five of the girls? Dude, how do you keep them straight? Can't you just settle down with one of them and start an actual relationship? One of these days they'll wise up and stop doing what you say."

"Yeah, right. Like that'll happen," Jake said with a smirk before turning his attention back to class; well, he at least looked like he was paying attention.

Jaiden simply rolled his eyes as the bell rang. Gathering his books, Jaiden headed out the door to his locker to put away his books before study hall, annoyance written on his face. Talking to some of the guys on the team really irritated Jaiden; he didn't understand their way of thinking, nor did he ever want to. He hated their pig-headedness. But what could he do? They were his teammates. He had to stick by them; didn't he? It was expected of him, after all.

The girls in Carlyn's english class were eerily silent as they left the classroom before bursting into a mob of giggles and whispers about the new teacher as they entered the hallway. "He is gorgeous." Carlyn laughed to Simon as they walked to their next class.

"Ew, Carlyn. Teacher, remember?" Simon laughed, rolling his eyes.

"You can fantasize cheerleaders all the time but I'm not allowed to look at a teacher?" Carlyn asked as she led Simon to their math class.

"Cheerleaders are my age." Simon pointed out.

"He would be my age give or take five years." Carlyn said as she stuck out her tongue at Simon, nearly crashing into one of the highschool jocks as they turned a corner and instead fell back into simon who caught her expertly so that her books didn't fall to the ground.

"Watch where you're going." Simon said as he helped Carlyn stand up straight as she smoothed out her hair.

"Leave it, Simon. Let's just go." Carlyn murmured as she tugged on his hand to pull him away from whatever jock meathead she had just run into.

"Excuse me? I think it was your friend that ran into me," Jaiden said as he grabbed the back of the boy who spoke's shirt, turning him to face him before letting him go, "I think it is her that owes me an apology. But, since I'm late already, I'll let it go this time. Next time, you'd better keep your mouth shut," Jaiden said to the boy before turning to the girl with a semi-nicer smile, "And you, had best keep your eyes forward so you don't run into walls and hurt yourself."

Turning, Jaiden headed down the hall to Jaely's locker, wondering why that girl seemed so familiar. She was beautiful, to say the least, but he hadn't the faintest idea what her name was.

Pushing the thought aside, Jaiden grinned as he wrapped his arms around Jaely's waist and nibbled and kissed her neck as he had earlier before commenting on their conversation that he had walked into. "Jae, don't tell me you're into this teacher are you? Should I be worried?" Jaiden teased as he continued to kiss her, his hands caressing her hips and thighs as he pulled her body gently against his, "Or am I safe to still call you mine?"

"What a jerk." Simon said as he turned back to Carlyn. "Are you alright?" He asked, checking his best friend for any signs of harm.

"You mean besides needing my eyes washed with bleach from watching those two touch each other all the time then yes. I'm peachy." Carlyn huffed as she turned on her heel and stalked off towards their math class.

"All beware the wrath of Carlyn." Simon grinned wickedly as he leaped to Carlyn's side and put an arm around her shoulders. "The most evil, meanacing girl there ever was. She strikes fear into any one who dares challenge her." He announced, his voice rising as he earned a small smile from Carlyn. "Do not be fooled people by the innocent smile, she's a maniac I tell you. I warn you! Maniac!" He yelled before Carlyn hit him in the stomach, openly laughing now.

"You are such a dork." She said with an eye roll as they entered math and took their usual seats.

Jaely grinned at her boyfriend's touch and wriggled slightly into him. "I don't know, I mean you're not even a hundred years old. How will you ever compete with a teacher?" She teased though the new english teacher had left a searing hot imprint on her. "Girls." Jaely said with a glare at the cheer squad that stared enviously at the couple. Taking the hint, the cheerleaders broke off into small groups and disappeared to their classes.

Hearing Simon's outburst as he called Carlyn a maniac before they disappeared, Jaely rolled her eyes at the outsiders. "Losers." She mumbled under her breath. "The downfall of public schools is that they let anybody in." She frowned.

Jaiden frowned a bit before putting on a wicked smile, knowing she hadn't seen his frown first due to having her back to him. Turning her around to face him, Jaiden's smile turned into a sly grin as he placed a tender kiss upon her lips, "Well then let's not think about those below us and only think about ourselves right now. I think I need to secure my role as your boyfriend so I can stop worrying about you running off with our new teacher," Jaiden added with a teasing wink.

"Why don't we go up to the roof so I can kiss you all I wish without prying eyes?" Jaiden suggested as he placed long, gentle kisses upon Jaely's lips, his tongue caressing hers with each kiss, "Have some 'us' time before your look-alike cheerleaders find us and gawk."

Jaely felt her toes curl in her cheer sneakers as she wrapped her arms around Jaiden's waist and returned his kisses eagerly. Knowing that her cheerleaders would be more then envious over her stealing some away time with Jaiden, Jaely took his hand with a coy grin before leading him down the hall. Jaely kept her face casual as she led Jaiden through the maze of halls in their high school, not wanting to get extra attention as they snuck off.

Jaely had trouble containing her excitement as she led Jaiden up the stairs to the roof where she quickly pressed him back against the door they had entered to give him a long kiss, her hands resting dangerously low on his waist.

Jaiden grinned as he eagerly returned her kisses, his fingertips slipping beneath the shirt of her uniform to caress her curves beneath her bra while the other massaged her thigh, pulling it around his waist as his tongue tangled with hers.

"Jaely, you're absolutely gorgeous.. I love you," Jaiden murmured against her lips as he got lost in her kisses. He loved it when she took control like this. It made things interesting when they were together; something he never got tired of.

Who would of thought he'd actually grow to like the girl he was expected to date?
His only wonder was, did she actually like him?
Or was it just an act because it was expected of her?

"I love you too, Jaiden." Jaely murmured though perhaps the more appropiate words would've been that she lusted after him. Locking a hand in his hair, Jaely pulled his lips to her's for a number of kisses before moving her lips to his neck, pressing him firmly yet gently against the door as she continued to kiss the length of his neck to his collarbone.

Occasionally nipping at his skin, Jaely moved her lips seductively back up the length of Jaiden's neck, hoping to create a small hickey somewhere on his neck in a way of marking him as her's. It was hard for her to concentrate on much of anything when lust blurred her mind. It was unknown to her how Jaiden kept his body as beautiful as he did, it was like every muscle was pressing against her, causing desire to course through her body.

Jaiden pushed the questions aside as a low moan escaped his lips. shifting so that she was against the door beneath him, Jaiden's hand slipped from her thigh to her spankies and played lightly with the hem, pulling on it ever so slightly off of her slender hips. "You really are quite the seductive temptress, you know that Jae?" Jaiden murmured softly against her lips as his other hand continued to caress her chest while they kissed.

Jaely only smiled a teasing smile as she jumped up to wrap both of her legs around Jaiden's waist, leaning against the door for support as she hungrily put Jaiden's shirt over his head to drop to the cement bottom of the roof. Jaely pressed her lips to Jaiden's jaw and moved slowly to his ear where she nibbled gently on his earlobe. "I want you." She said in a low voice, the desire coursing through her like an adreanline high which was immediately cut short by the loud ringing of the school bell signaling the ending of second period.

Jaely let out a disappointed sigh as she dropped her legs to the ground to stand up, pulling her spankies back into place. "I have study hall and the cheerleaders and I agreed to meet in the gym for extra practice." She explained with a sad pout on her lips, her arms crossed over her chest in an angry disappointment.

Carlyn and Simon imitated their math teacher's monotone voice as they went to their lockers, skillfully dodging through the crowd of high schoolers running to their next class. "I don't know what the rush is." Carlyn shrugged when they reached their lockers. "Its just school." She sighed.

"Perhaps I shall catch a glimpse of my dream girl." Simon sighed hopefully as he looked around the hallway with no such luck.

"Ew." Carlyn said, wrinkling her nose. "Maybe you should spend your time looking for a girl who can do more then recite cheers and clap her hands." She offered.

"Hey, now." Simon said defensively with a teasing grin. "Clapping your hands is very respectable." He said.

"I'm sure lover boy but we're going to be late for PE." She said as she took his hand and led him towards the gymnasium.

Jaiden simply grinned a wolfish grin as he uncrossed her arms and pulled her against him, his hands roaming everywhere beneath her uniform, "Now Jae, you're Captain. You can disband your practice and make it up tonight before the game. Because right now, you're coming with me out to your car's back seat since your car has tinted windows and my truck doesn't."

"I want you too, very much," Jaiden whispered in a husky voice, holding back the desire that was coursing through his veins from her seductive actions as he whispered in her ear before nibbling on her neck and pulling on her spankies and bra once more.

"So what do you say my gorgeous Jaely?" Jaiden inquired, expecting her to agree as he rested his forehead against hers.

Jaely frowned as Jaiden continued to tease her when she knew that she wasn't going to be able to be with him just yet. "I can't disband practice. The girls will flip if I cancel on them to sneak out to my car with you." She explained. "But at the party after the game, its just you and me." She promised as she ran her fingers over the length of Jaiden's jaw. "Come on." She said, attempting a small smile as she took his hand and led him back down the stairs from the roof into the hallways with a bitter disappointment bubbling in her stomach.

Jaiden laughed as he pulled her back to him for a final tender kiss. "Wait here a minute Jae, Jae. There's a minor article of clothing you took off and left back on the roof," Jaiden teased with a wink as he pointed to his bare, semi-muscular torso with a laugh. Giving her a light kiss upon the lips, Jaiden hurried back up the stairs to the roof, found his shirt, and slipped it on before making his way back down stairs and loosely draping his arm over Jaely's shoulder, his hand dangerously close to her chest as his fingertips brushed teasingly against her uniform.

"So where's this party we're expected to be at again? You know I'd rather spend my time celebrating with you at home where we won't have people barging in on us to try and catch a glimpse on 'accident'," Jaiden teased with a laugh as he nuzzled her neck and left tender kisses.

"Its at Jake's parent's lake house." Jaely reminded him as she put her arm loosely around his waist. "I only planned on going for an hour or so then we can find somewhere else to go." Jaely sighed, trying to think of somewhere safe considering her parents were home this weekend. "My sister just left with her boyfriend for a weekend in Paris." She offered. "She said I could use her apartment to get away from mom and dad." She said as she wound through the hallway towards the gym where Carlyn and Simon were only a few moments away from reaching the door. "I'll see you next period in Chem." Jaely said as she gave Jaiden a long kiss.

"Ah, does thou hear the breaking of thy heart?" Simon asked dramatically, clutching his chest as Carlyn led him into the gym.

"Simon." Carlyn hissed. "Shhh." She urged though Jaely had already heard him and in turn clutched Jaiden closer against her to deepen their kiss, earning silent gagging gestures from Simon and Carlyn as they went into their respective locker rooms to change.

Jaiden chuckled as he pulled her closer to him and eagerly returned her kisses. "Well, 'does thou hear the breaking of his heart'?" Jaiden teased with a wink and a a long, hard kiss upon her lips, his tongue caressing her own, "Have fun in practice, Jae. We'll talk more about your sister's apartment in Chem. You know how I hate parties," Jaiden said with a smile as he placed a long, tender kiss upon her lips before heading away from the gym towards his English class.

Jaelyn smiled confidently as she entered the gym, immediately flanked by two of her cheerleaders who were continuing to gush about the new english teacher. "Where were you last period?" One of them asked, earning a small confident grin from Jaelyn.

"I was with Jaiden." Jaely said, leaving it there as she knew what the cheerleaders would assume that they had made love.

"I wish I had been with Mr. Levok." The second cheerleader said, a sometimes-too-bubbly red head with her ponytail bouncing behind her. Jaely felt her skin itch with irritation as the conversation switched back to their new teacher. It was obvious that he was gorgeous but Jaely was still dating the hottest boy in school and that was obviously more important then some new teacher.

"Agreed." The other cheerleader giggled, making Jaely want to yank on the red head's ponytail for even bringing up Mr. Levok into the conversation when they should've been gushing about her and Jaiden.

Jaely led the two girls who were continuing to rattle on about Mr. Levok as they changed into small purple short shorts and an ice blue t-shirt that clung a bit to tight on their curves. "Mrs. Gushie offered to move the gym class to another gym so the cheerleaders could practice." Jaely announced happily as she twisted her hair into a perfect ponytail on her head. The cheerleaders walked into the gym in a V position, all obediently following Jaely as they entered the gym where the rest of the class was waiting for the teachers.

"Ah, my lovely." Simon said, fanning himself delicately like a woman from the 18th century.

"Shut up, Simon." Carlyn sighed as she looked over at the flock of cheerleaders who looked down their noses at the rest of the class.

"Everyone can move into the other gym now." Jaely said in a tone that suggested the class should've already left the gym. "The cheerleaders are practicing in here." She said smugly.

A few people in the class murmured and shrugged, ready to comply though Carlyn stood firmly, squaring her shoulders at Jaely. "I guess it'd be best considering how much work the squad needs." She said defensively, causing Jaely's skin to prickle with anger and everyone in the gym to turn to face the two girls.

"This squad has won more trophies then you can count." Jaely hissed.

"Like you would know." Carlyn retorted. "Everyone knows that cheerleaders can't count." She hissed back at Jaely who stepped forward so that she was nose to nose with Carlyn.

"Get. Out. Of. This. Gym." Jaely said slowly, each word dripping with venom.

"Ladies." Mrs. Gushie, the gym teacher, called from across the gym though neither of the girls moved away from each other and instead continued to glare angrily at each other. "The class is moving to the other gym. Let's go Carly." She said.

"Come on." Simon urged with a small smile as he put an arm around Carlyn's waist and led her a bit forcefully out of the gym so that the cheerleaders could practice in peace.

After getting to English, Jaiden rolled his eyes at the waste of time. There was a substitute and they were working on their essays - an essay which he'd finished the previous evening. Quickly smooth-talking the new substitute, a woman who couldn't have been more than 24, Jaiden got a pass to the music room.

Jaiden smiled as he sat down at the piano in the band room. He wasn't in the class, nor part of the band, but Mr. Mahoney had always allowed him access whenever it wasn't in use due to his love for the instrument. Being a jock, it was unorthodox of him to love music like he did; well, according to stereotypes it was. However, growing up with all the tutors he could ask for as a child, he was taught a variety of instruments but only pursued the piano.

As his fingers traveled across the keys as he played the menu music from one of his favorite games, Final Fantasy X-2, Jaiden couldn't help but feel relieved and at peace. He loved this feeling: a feeling of peace and as if nothing could go wrong; a feeling he could only feel while playing the piano. Not even when he was making love to Jaely could he feel this at peace and as if things were perfect.

However, Jaiden never thought much of it. He figured it was just because they were too different emotions and couldn't coexist with one activity. Which was the case, wasn't it?

Carlyn felt her hands curl to fists as they shook, her body rushing with adrenaline. "Did you see the way she looked at us?" She asked Simon who shook his head dutifully. They were in the back of the old gym, Mrs. Gushie not paying much attention to them as she knew that Carlyn had reached a boiling point and that Simon would calm her down. "She's always acting like she's on top of the world and everyone should just answer to her." Carlyn ranted, Simon shaking his head respectively. "And that stupid jock she's dating. Its disgusting how they're all over each other." She hissed.

"I know, Carlyn. But its over now." He said as he put an arm around her shoulders to calm her down, allowing Carlyn to sink into his frame.

"I don't like her." Carlyn pouted against Simon's shoulder.

"I've noticed." Simon teased, earning a laugh from Carlyn.

Jaely shook off Carlyn's outburst as she returned to the cheerleaders, running through the different cheers and stunts they had practiced before. "Good practice, ladies." Jaely said encouragingly as the cheerleaders pulled off a last stunt flawlessly. She didn't know what had prompted Carlyn to say they needed more practice but it made her angry just the same. The girl's comment shouldn't have bothered her as much as it did but Jaely couldn't help but to be angry.

Finishing another song just as the bell rang, Jaiden smiled as he shut the case over the piano keys before hurrying out of the music room so no one saw him. Heading upstairs to his locker, Jaiden grabbed his Chem books before heading to Jaely's locker and waiting for her so they could walk up to Chem together.

Leaning back against her locker, Jaiden sighed as he watched the hallways, waiting for her, wondering if she wanted to go out to lunch today instead of eating the school's spaghetti.
