Must... Get... The... Others...! Teto thought as she ran down the halls of her castle. She held her dress so to not step on it, but that was making running very hard. Running down towards the large door that led to the Grand Hall, servants and maids alike looks aghast when they saw Princess Teto having such disregard for manners. But that was unimportant now. What was important, was telling the others what had become of their friend... Teto burst into the large hallway and shouted, "Princess Miku is gone!!!"

Ryo didn't say anything else. When they finally reached the front gate Teto asked the guards, "When was the last time you saw Princess Miku!?" The men looked startled by the onslaught of fancy women, but one replied, "H-haven't seen Princess Miku for days M'lady."

Lost's gaze swept over the darkling moors as she scanned the horizon. "Nightfall approaches," she murmered. Shadows stretched across the land, and a brisk wind arose, whipping the Menewsha flag against the somber sky.

She was a cat not a dog, so her nose wasn't strong enough to tell exactly what the smell was, but she new it was important and snatched it up in her teeth and ran back to the door, meow with much more fervor. She needed to show someone what she'd found!

When she reached the horses she mounted her own, Dakura, a pure white stallion with hooves like thunder. "let us ride!" She yelled, just before riding in the direction of the woods

She ran around back of it to a large, heavily guarded, cage. Teto waved her hand and the guards moved aside. She opened the cage door and held out her hand, "Come now Zach, it is time for your grand appearance!" A blazing bird stepped out of the cage. It spread out it's wings and let out a large screech. Teto grinned. Zach, was the name she had given her Phoenix.

Turning to see Zea already mounted and charging out of the stables, Lostin hurried in the side-door to fetch her own steed. The beams of the ancient building began to creak and complain.
A gust of wind burst open the doors, which rattled from the force; and the wall-torches sputtered, then went out. Lostin raised her lantern in the darkness to reveal the stall where her horse was kept.
But it was empty.

She crouched in the tall grass, muscles bunched and her body tense...and that was when she caught the scent again, the strange one that was on the cloak. Standing up as tall as she could, she meowed loudly.

She tried to turn Dakura around but the mighty battle-horse would not listen, she charged into the dark forest, Zea still on her back.

Zach, who had been circling above the stable area, flew down and closer to the earth, giving others the chance to see him. Teto spotted a small dot off near the forest. Guessing by how the others why chasing after it, it was Zea. So she followed them in that directed. "Hold on Miku... We're coming!"

"Sorry," said the lady, patting Wídfara's neck before riding out, facing the wind. By the time the storm eased slightly, half of Lost's wispy thin hair was already plastered to her face. But through the soppy mess she spied the dark figure of Zea in the distance, just before it was swallowed up by the vast forest.
An odd red light blazed overhead, as the phoenix swooped down close to earth. Wídfara balked, then charged straight for the wood. Lost, gripping the mare's mane, caught a glimpse of Kasene atop the phoenix as it dipped, then flew out of sight.
"Zeapear!" shouted Lost as the trees whipped past. Her lantern had long been flameless. All was now dark under the pines, until, at length, she noticed a small red glow illuminating the trees from somewhere far ahead. A burning fire? Some magic spell? It was hard to say. But Wídfara was headed right in that direction.

Then she came up to the forest and jumped into a tree, trying to get a view so that she could see the human ladies and keep track of them.
Zeap's turn! :yumeh1:

Zea heard Lostin pass her but she couldn't do anything about it, Lostin had gone by too fast. When she had entered the forest Dakura had bolted under a rather low branch and Zea had gotten the worst of it. She propped her self up with her elbow and tried to yell, but all that came out was a feeble cough.
Teto flew low above the forest. Over the roaring of the wind she could have sworn she hard a soft "Thud". She glanced at Ryo and nodded. Ryo flew down with lightning speed into the forest. She searched around for a bit and spotted Zea on the forest floor. She floated back up to Zach and told Teto, "Zea is on the ground with a big bruise on her forehead! It looks like she got whapped in the face and fell off her horse!" Teto tightened her grip on the blazing orange feathers. If that's the case... She might be much more hurt then she seems. Teto sighed, "I can't do anything from here," she looked at Ryo, "But you can get Russle out here to check her out." Ryo probably tried to nod before zipping through the sky back towards the castle.
Balthazar sat huddled around the fire he had made in a sheltered cove of trees, Roasting a boar he had just slain. His bow rest beside him in wait, his mind drifted as he cooked his meat. The woods gave him his home and he had never left them, he'd practically grown up in the woods. He knew his animals that roamed around him, something seemed wrong though lately. The animals around him had grown quiet and noises came from above je didnt recognize. His hand slid to the bow by his side checking his arrows on the other side of his body.

ooc: Who is Russel? too many.... characters.... to remember..... lol, Teto, we oughta make a limit to how many sub-characters a person can invent xD
Good work, Zar! :D
ic: In the swift-moving blur on either side of her, Lost became aware that Zea's horse, Dakura, was running only a short distance away to the left of her. And her horse was already slowing to a canter. Oh no! she thought, as she realized there was no rider.
Forgetting the red glow for the time being, she turned and rode slowly back to search for Zea.
All was still. Lost's eyes grew accostumed to the night as she walked along the path. The storm had passed over, leaving only the drip, drip of the trees to meet the ears.
Calling out her friend's name, Lost began to reproach herself for not having called about a search party before riding heedlessly out into the storm. A few more lanterns and pairs of eyes would be of assistance. And now feeling rather helpless, she wondered where Teto had gone after announcing she would be back momentarily.
Just then a slight noise from the underbrush broke her contemplations. There was Zeapear! She hurried over to see if she was alright.
Kat finally caught up with the others who all seemed to have no horses which honestly she didn't mind. She stalked her way through the bush, feet nearly silent out of habit and only her amber eyes showing in the dark. She broke through the bushes finally and nearly tripped over Zeapear. She jumped back with a snort just as Lostin came running up. Good, they were all together now except for Teto...and of course lady Miku, but that was the point of this. She glared at them as if to say that they needed to stick together!
Zea smiled rather sheepishly at all of them and whispered "Yeah, um, Sorry. Let's stick together next time." She tried to stand but stumbled and fell, "I think I've twisted my ankle pretty bad, and I may have broken an arm." Zea rasped in pain, she then took out a small jar of ointment that's label read "powdered roots of Yggdrasil" (Yggdrasil is the world tree) and rubbed some of it onto her right ankle, the ankle's swelling decreased noticeably and turned a slightly healthier colour. "Lets go." She whispered and she started limping towards the castle. When she stopped to see if the others where following she heard an arrow whiz(sp?) by, she turned around quickly and saw an arrow wedged into the tree right in front of her face, dun, DUN, DUUUUUUUUUH!
ooc: ah?! *has to read it now instead of when its my turn because I'm curious* because Yggdrasil is my rl friend's username on mene!!! I call him Yiggy. ^_^
In this RP though to serve my purposes I think it should a small bush/herb that's roots have incredible healing properties, it was named after Yggdrasil because of It's amazing-ness or something, I don't know XD
I know it is. I asked Yiggy about it because he has a wierd name!! its hard to spell too. *yawn* I think I'll go to sleep instead of get caught up. whos post is it?
Teto searched for a brake in the tree tops, somewhere where she could land Zach. She finally spotted one a ways off and flew in that direction.
Tick.... Tock.... Tick.... Tock.... The sound of the clock above the door seemed to echo in the lonesome Library. But why would it matter? No one would be in the Library at this time of night. No one, except for to Librarian, Russle. He sat in a corner in the back of the Library, reading one of their newest book about Zoology. Suddenly, a single word broke the silence, "Russle!" Russle... Russle... "Hm. So there is an echo in here." Russle noted as he set down his book. He stood up and made his way to the front of the Library, where he found Ryo. "What seems to be the matter, my dear?" Ryo spun around frantically, "Come on, come on! You gotta change so you can come out to the forest and help Zea!" Russle gave a slight smile, "Is it possible for her to be injured so early on in the adventure?" Ryo bobbed up and down and replied, "Just hurry up!" Russle nodded and went to the spare room in the back of the Library where his cloths where. Of course, he couldn't go out into the muddy forest with his Library robes on, that would be a disaster. He brushed some of his short silver hair out of his face and muttered, "With any luck, I wont be dragged into this adventure..."

ooc:
Interesting character!
Are we allowed to control him?
In most rpg's I've participated in, secondary characters such as Garulf and Russle would be kind of free for any of the roleplayers to control. That's usually how it goes, and people only get mad if someone else controls their main char..
ooc:
Okay. Can we pleeease have a limit on characters a person has sole control over, though? It makes it difficult for the rest of us to know where the plot is leading. o_o
