Name: Kit "Kitty" Culpix
Race: neko vampire
Background: Kit comes from a small town where wizards and witches were frowned upon. His father wouldn't let him forget it. He was beat by his father. His mother was kind which was why Kit just took the punishments he was given. His mother made sure he was well taken care of despite the cuts and bruises. Kit prefers to be called Kitty. He's shy and a little submissive but when he becomes friends with someone he's out going and you'd never believe that he was so quiet.

Kitty slowly walked to where Platform was suppose to be. He was new at this and he didn't really know anyone to ask. He asked a few people and they just looked at him weird or laughed and walked off. He was getting frustrated. He was wearing a small black hat to hid his ears and his long black coat hid his tail. He tried to stop it when it was swaying showing how pissed he was.

He stopped when he saw a few people with things similar to his running towards a pillar. His eyes widened when one of them ran through it. 'Found it~!' He thought to himself as he moved towards it. When they were all through it he did what he saw they did and got through. He smiled to himself then looked at the train. "Woah! It's huge!" he said to himself then smiled again. He got onto the train then looked for an empty area. He went to the back of the train then smiled. He opened one of the doors and smiled when he saw it was empty. He put his bag under a seat then sat down and looked out the window. 'Maybe I'll make a friend...'

Name: Lyoko Summers (Call him Lyo)
Race: Neko/Kitsune
Background: His mother was a kitsune, his father a neko. Such partnership was often hated and frowned upon, the offspring of a pairing like this even more so. Lyoko got his green eyes from his mother, along with his feminine bone structure, however his hair, skin and fur colour are all from his father. He had to endure a lot of bullying when he was little and this has made him tough, not willing to get close to just anyone. He finds it hard to trust many others, but his sister is trying to bring him out of his shell a little.

I'll bring his sister in too, she's a little older then them.

Lyoko gazed irritably at his parents who were grinning madly at him. His older sister had already vanished, off to meet up with some of her friends no doubt. And yet she couldn't have bothered to wait and help out her younger brother, who'd never done this before. Needless to say, he was in a bad mood. Sighing, he grudgingly let his parents peck him on the cheeks before making his way onto the train. It had been fairly easy to get onto the platform. Well, it helped his sister already knew how to. His tail twitched beneath the long coat he wore, as did his ears that poked out of the beanie styled hat. However, he stilled them all, so much so that his ears simply looked like cute additions to the hat.

Glancing through the doors, he began to get steadily more annoyed as almost every compartment was filled. Finally though, there was one section that had only one other person in it. While he would have preferred if they weren't there at all, it was better then nothing. Sliding the door open, he slid into the compartment, letting the door thud quietly shut behind him before he collapsed in a seat, looking a little tired.

Kitty almost jumped when the door opened. He just watched the other teen, unsure of what he was suppose to do. He looked out the window as he made sure his had was still on. His tail wrapped around his stomach so it didn't accidentally slip out or anything. He watched as others said goodbye to there parents. He wished that his mother would've come with him but he didn't want her to be hurt by his father.

Slowly his eyes wandered over to the other teen. He couldn't help but stare at his ears. He slowly got up and hesitantly moved closer. "Are those real? Can I touch them? I wanna touch them!" he said not waiting for a response. He giggled as he gently touched them. "So soft!"

Lyo continued to ignore the other in the room. In fact, they sat in silence for long enough for him to begin to drift off. Soon his eyes started closing more often, staying shut for longer. Finally, when they stopped opening, he frowned a little. Someone had said something, it was dragging him away from what would have possibly been a blissful sleep. Grudgingly he opened his eyes to stare directly into the face of the other person in the compartment, who just so happened to be a lot closer now.

He couldn't prevent the hiss of alarm escape past his lips as his eyes widened in shock. Cringing he attempted to scoot away, but there was no more space. When Lyo felt the other touch his ears he yelped a little, reaching up to roughly bat the hands away.
"Don't just touch them! Your hands are cold!" He snapped angrily.

Kitty fell back into his seat then blinked. His hat slid off his head as his smile grew. "They're real!" His ears twitched a bit. "I met someone like me!" he said laughing happily. "That's awesome!" He held out one of his hands. "My name is Kit but I prefer to be called Kitty! What's your name?" He wanted to be his friend. He wanted on so bad. He didn't really know how to interact with others seeing as he was so sheltered but he would try his best.

He looked shocked to see the ears being revealed on the other's head. At the same time, he could feel one of his eyebrows lifting a little as he felt irritation towards the suddenly overly happy neko. Grumbling quietly to himself, he drew his legs up onto the seats next to him, folding his arms tightly across his chest before looking away. Lyo remained silent for a few moments before sighing softly.
"Kitty's a bit weird...I'm Lyoko, but it's Lyo to everyone." He answered in a sharp tone. He didn't want to get too close to him, especially because he was a Neko as well. If he found out who his mother was, he'd probably hate him just like the others. What was the point of getting hurt again?

Kitty frowned. "Don't be like that Lyo," Kitty said as he sat up more. "And it's not a wierd name....it's better than the one my father gave me when he found out I was a wizard..." Kitty trailed off as his ears went down. He looked at the floor not wanting to look him in the eye. 'Maybe he doesn't like nekos...' kitty thought to himself then pulled his legs to his chest. "I'm sorry if I woke you up...it's just I've never had a friend before...my father wouldn't let me....my mom is the only reason I'm alive...."Kitty pulled the hat back on his head so he could hid his face and ears. "I'm sorry...didn't mean to upset you..."

Again he looked surprised that the boy seemed to be so familiar with him. However when he glanced over and saw the drooping ears, he felt instantly guilty. It brought a frowning expression on his face as he turned to face Kitty again. With a soft sigh he closed his eyes before shaking his head a little.
"It's fine, I shouldn't sleep during the day anyway, throws off the whole sleeping pattern thing." Pausing he looked nervous suddenly before reaching out and tapping Kitty lightly on the head. "And you didn't upset me, it'd take more then that to upset me. If you don't mind me asking...How come your dad wanted to kill you?" He asked hesitantly, ears twitching curiously.

Kitty calmed down when he realized it wasn't his fault. He smiled a little as he looked up. He was happy he didn't upset his new friend. "Um...well its cause I'm a wizard. I'm different. Not normal. He didn't necessarily wanna kill me. He just didn't wanted me to learn my place. He always said that I'd never leave the house. I was not to ruin the family name with my freakish powers. I wasn't really allowed to go to school or out of the house really. I didn't mind much. The sun kinda hurts when it touches my skin....seeing as I'm also a vampire...." Kitty took his hat off and played with it a little. "Um...do you...will you be my first friend? I'm new to this school thing and I don't really know anyone..."

Stiffening, Lyo stared wide eyed at Kitty. To be honest, while he was used to others disliking and at times despising him, he'd never experienced one of his own family acting in such a way. It was strange to imagine that happening, and he felt pity for the boy opposite him. With a faint smile, he nodded and patted Kitty's arm lightly. "I...I can try...I'm not a very good friend though, and if other Neko's saw you with me, they'd probably look down on you more...But, if you still want to be my friend then sure...Fine by me..." He looked nervous, despite the smile. Boy, his sister would be very excited to hear about his new friend. He almost cringed at the thought of what she would do, including deep questioning of Kitty. Hopefully though he would be able to avoid that.

Kitty's smile only grew. "YAY! I have a friend! I'm so happy!" Kitty's ears were up and his tail swayed happily. "What do friends do? Oh wait do you know what's going to happen? When we get off the train? I've never really heard about this place before seeing as it was seen as a good thing...." he laughed a little then smiled.

Gazing at Kitty for a couple of moments, Lyo couldn't help but laugh softly now, finding the other Neko suddenly quite amusing. Still laughing, his ears pricked up brightly until he was able to speak again. "Well, they hang out, laugh, do fun stuff together." He answered the first question before smirking a little, not having expected Kitty to not know anything about Hogwarts. Yawning a little, he stretched before, leaning against the window. "Hogwarts is a school, for eleven to seventeen year olds. It teaches them how to use and control their magic effectively. However, once you're enrolled in it, you can't use magic outside of school until seventeen, and then not in the presence of those who know nothing of 'mythical or magic beings'." He started off explaining before smiling suddenly. "There are four houses that we get sorted into when we get there, depending on our personality and stuff. My sister's in Ravenclaw cause she's really smart, so I probably won't be going there...What else do you wanna know?" He asked.

Kitty smiled when he started laughing. He was happy to make another laugh for once instead of yell. He listened closely. He was excited. The school sounded really cool and he was hoping to meet others that would be his friend too. "Um...." kitty said as he thought about another question. "Why do people get separated? I don't understand that...." he said then looked out the window. He didn't like the thought of being separated from his new friend. "I don't wanna be separated....think we'll be together....? What are the other ones called anyway?"

Tilting his head, he shrugged a little as he tugged off the hat. It was too warm in hear, and his head was beginning to over heat, making it and his ears itchy. Scratching behind his ears, Lyo thought in silence before answering.
"It's to make sure you're with people you'd get on with the best. Like, Ravenclaw people are all really smart, or they're able to work riddles and stuff out easily. Griffindor, another house, is for those who are brave and a bit reckless at times, but they've got the loyalist hearts. Hufflepuff are really sweet and friendly, you can always count on them. Slytherin....Well...From what my sister said, there ain't a single good person in that house, all tainted with evil, but that's probably just her being over dramatic." He laughed before nodding at the other questions. "Sure we will, just ask when they're sorting us, I'm sure they'll let us into the same house!" He answered brightly.

Kitty smiled then nodded. "Know a lot about this place. I guess that's cause of you sister." His smile grew a bit. He laughed then looked out the window. "I do hope we're together....a new school....kinda like a new beginning sort of thing." He looked up at Lyo then smiled. "You seem really nice. I wonder where we're going to be placed. I kinda wanna meet a Slytherin. I don't think they're mean. I bet they act that way cause they were taught to be like that. Maybe if we make friends with one of them it will turn out to be true~!" He smiled more then looked out the window. "Hey I saw something out there," he said as he got up. He blinked then searched for the something that moved. "I don't know why they would though...looks like a storm is about to start....I hate storms...."

Lyo nodded, looking a little proud. His sister used to send him letters every two or three weeks about how the school was, before he got his own letter. After all, they were very close to each other. "Yeah, wanted me to be well prepared when I came...So do I, it'd be nice to know someone who's in the same house as you, less scary y'know?" He answered while chuckling a little, blushing at the same time at the compliment. That was the nicest thing anyone who wasn't his family had said to him. At the same time though, Lyo didn't say anything about Slytherin. He had his own opinions about that house and he didn't want to make Kitty have a biased opinion himself. Jumping in surprise, he turned to stare out of the window, both hands pressed against the cool glass. "I don't see anything...If the storm gets too bad you can sit next to me if you want." He offered softly.

Kitty's tail swayed softly. "I swear I saw something...." he said then pouted. He didn't like seeing something one minute not the next. He sometimes saw things that weren't really there. He frowned when he remember his mom saying he should say things like that allowed. "Sorry...you probably don't believe me...not many people do..." He literally jumped out of his coat when thunder struck. It surprised him more than scared him. He laughed weakly then sat next to Lyo. "O-okay...I'll sit next to you...." he said then pulled his coat over his head. He really didn't like storms.

Lyo shrugged a little, not willing to out right deny what Kitty was saying. "Maybe it was the storm, y'know, seeing shapes in the dark areas and stuff...But you could be right...I heard one time they had dementors on the train! They're nasty creatures, I've never met one, but dad did once, he says they're evil, you don't want to go near one if you can avoid it." He answered in a chatty tone before jumping when Kitty himself jumped at the sound of the thunder. His tail had puffed out, the fur making it look twice as big. Blushing a little, Lyo started to smooth the fur down again before he grinned nodding and pulling Kitty closer, patting his head. "We're probably almost there, then I can introduce you to my sister!" He said brightly.

"I heard of them.....and saw a picture of one too....my uncle was killed by one of them," Kitty said softly then sniffled. "They say its a horrible death...." He sniffled then froze a bit when he was pulled closer. He relaxed when he was pet. It was nice. It felt better than when he was abused by his father. He leaned into it as he took his coat off his head and put it next to him. He smiled at how happy he sounded at seeing his sister. "Okay. I'd like to meet her....what house do you think you're going to get into? I hope it's a nice one." He giggled when he saw his breath then froze. "It's cold...why....?"

Lyo gazed down at Kitty with a frown before gently hugging him with the one arm around him in an attempt to comfort the other neko. "Yeah...But it's rare to meet them, and I'm sure your uncle put up a really strong fight, you should be proud of him!" He smiled. The smile grew wider as he felt Kitty lean against him, glad the other was relaxing a little more. "Yeah, she's nice after the initial introductions...I think I'd like to be in Griffindor, or maybe Hufflepuff? I'm not smart enough to be in Ravenclaw though." He laughed before feeling his ears pricking up as he felt the sudden coldness surrounding them. A noise sounded outside the compartment and Lyo growled threateningly, until the door slid open to reveal a panting girl already in her school robes, with bright fox red hair and amber eyes. She also happened to have nine small fox tails and a pair of ears.
"Yubi? What are you doing here? What's wrong?" He asked his sister suddenly, surprised to see her. She really took after their mother, though she had the same eyes as their father, and her claws and teeth were destinctly that of a neko's rather then a kitsune's. She was still panting before glancing back over her shoulder. It was clear she was concerned about something that was approaching them.

((Here's Yubi Yubi Her real name's Kyubi, but it's easier to just say Yubi. Also she's into drama a lot and does plays in the summer, which is why she's dressed the way she is in the picture ^^))

Kitty smiled when Lyo's arm was around him. It was nice.He listened to him as he talked. He liked having someone other than himself to talk to for once. When the door was opened he almost jumped out of his clothes. He quickly hid under his coat too scared to come out or look who it is. He whimpered submissively getting a bit freaked out that he felt the same as last time he saw the dementors. He was getting a little freaked out. He instinctively moved closer to Lyo until the train was brought to a sudden stop and he fell off the seat. He whimpered as he sat up. "Ow...." He rubbed his head as he looked out the window. His eyes widened as the windows on the train started to crack a bit as they started freezing. He moved closer to Lyo and looked around. "It found me....it's here for me! I don't wanna die! I don't wanna die!" Kitty cried as he held his head. His ears were down flat and his tail was wrapped tight around his stomach.

He turned away from Yubi, trying to comfort Kitty and tell him that it was alright, it wasn't a dementor and only his idiot sister. However, despite all of that, Kitty wasn't calming down, he was getting even more freaked out, especially when the windows iced over. Lyo's eyes widened as he shivered. Unlike Yubi, he didn't cope very well in cold conditions, he often got ill if there was a slight chill in the air. Shivering a little he crouched down to wrap his arms around Kitty, trying to protect him from what ever was coming. Yubi had finally got her breath back and raised an eyebrow before turning her back on them.
"You'd better move him to the back of the compartment...Mum's taught me a new trick, but I'm not very good at controlling it yet." She said in a controlled tone, which was enough to get Lyo gently trying to pull Kitty to the other side of the small space as he watched his sister rubbing her hands together. He wasn't sure what she was trying to do, but a smirk was on her lips. Sure, she didn't know how to make a patronus yet, but there were other things that worked fairly well on dementors, she only hoped it would work this time. Finally she stood stock still, her arms out in front of her, palms facing out and Lyo bowed his head, closing his eyes as he felt the cold worsen.

Kitty didn't stop crying. He clung to Lyo like his life depended on it. "I don't wanna die..." he cried as he clung to him. He looked up when he felt Lyo shiver. 'I should have stayed home....then they'd be safe...' He shakingly took his coat and wrapped it around Lyo. "I'm sorry....it's my fault..." he said softly. A dementor slowly flew through the isles. It went strait for them. It hovered by the door a bit. Kitty's eyes widened when he saw it. He moved as far against the wall as he could trying to get away. Flashes of his uncle being killed in front of him filled his head making him start to shake.
