Story


Keada spent her first 12 years o her life in foster care with her family. Happy up until she was adopted by a new family. Her new life as the daughter of the Yakuza leader. Her life was a different one then she knew. Guards around her all the time, men who bowed down to her as she walked down the halls, and a fear she could see in some of her school mates' eyes'. She made one good friend who has stuck with her through all the weird times, Lynda. Keada wishes many times to go back to hr old family, or to at least see them again. She still hasn't adjusted to this life, even at 19 she doesn't have a love, and she wishes to leave. However her father wont let her, seeing as many different gangs wish her dead, since she is the daughter of the famous Yakuza leader.

Story


Lynda is an average girl for her age of 18. She goes to high school, came from a family consistent of parents, 2 brothers, 4 cousins, an aunt, an uncle, and grandparents. In her early years of middle school, she met Keada, soon becoming her one and only friend. Lynda was soon also accepted by the Yakuza or being their leader's daughter's best friend. Her whole family soon received some protection as well. Though she knows the kind of life Keada has she can still see why Keada wishes to get out of that place and just find her old family. Lynda is also very interested in seeing, meeting and greeting this family.

The day will start as they wake up. Kai and Jack show up to the race after a full day of stuff. The race was set by the mob. Jack knew it was a set up but they promised to leave Kai out of it. They will notice the girls at the race.

The girls will start a day like it was any other day. One will get a call to show up at a race. The other will make the other come. Not knowing what will happen they seem happy. They will get there after they have a full day.

Keada yawned as she woke up, rolling over onto Lynda. They both woke up fully and laughed. A sleepover was a normal thing they would do almost every other day. The two girls yawned almost at the same time. They soon would get up and go to take a shower. Keada wondered into the bathroom, closing the door behind her, Lynda walked into the bathroom next to Keada.

Keada hummed softly as she let the water run over her body, warming and walking her up. She smiled softly, today her and Lynda were going out to go shopping, well so her father thought. Keada soon turned the water off and walked out, wrapping a towel around her body she soon walked back into her room and walked into her closet and changed into her normal outfit, soon coming out and waiting for Lynda to finish.

Lynda could hear Keada’s humming she smiled and laughed softly. She still had to get used to this two bathroom things in Keada’s room. She did not understand or know why there would be two bathrooms in one girl’s bedroom. Then again it was the Yakuza leader’s mansion. Smiling softly, she stepped out of the shower, soon after Keada. Walking over to her clothes, she grabbed then and then walked back into the bathroom. Dressing in her gyps-like dress, she fixed her hair and then walked in to find Keada on the bed. “Hey ready to go out Keada?” Lynda walked over to the door, siding it open she waited for Keada.

Keada smiled, “Yeah lets go!” laughing she jumped up from the bed and ran to Lynda. She swiftly grabbed Lynda’s arm and ran down the hall.

The two girls soon made it to the front door without someone seeing them. “Hold it Keada, where do you think your going?”

Keada froze and slowly turned around, bowing at her waist. “Father, Lynda and I were going shopping, I told you last night remember?”

Lynda bowed also and then just stood silent besides Keada knowing this was the best way to act around Keada’s father.

“Yes I remember that my dear daughter, but remember that I will not allow you to go out with out Hikaro and Kanto. Now wait here a few seconds, he should be here soon.” Keada’s father did not want anything to happen to her, so he always had Hikaro and Kanto go with Keada wherever she went. Soon the two men cam down the halls and stood next to Keada and Lynda. “Now off you too, and have fun.” He kissed Keada’s forehead softly then soon disappeared into a room filled with other men from his command.

Keada bowed and then smirked. “Come on you two, try and keep up.” She winked at Lynda and then ran off to the street below.

Lynda laughed softly and followed Keada, running right next to her.

Side by side, the two girls soon made their way to the mall. Here they knew they could try to lose the bodyguards. They slowed to a walk, the guards to the side of Keada and behind her. They walked into the mall, soon walking into a clothing store. The two girls chatted as they looked through the clothes. They grabbed a few clothes and headed into the changing rooms, going into one large room together.

Lynda was trying on a cute dress when her phone rang softly. She flipped it open. “Hello. – Yeah what’s up? – A what? – Sure we’ll be there!” Lynda closed the phone and smiled. She leaned to Keada and whispered softly. “How would you like to go to a street race?”

Keada’s face lit up. “Let’s do it!” she giggled as she put her clothes back on. “All we need to do is lose those boys.” She pointed to the two guards that were standing at the entrance to the dressing rooms.

They soon came up with a simple plan of running into a crowded area, put coats on and do their hair differently. Nodding they soon ran as fast as they could out of the rooms and into the crowed mall, swiftly running into a coat store they both bought large trench coat and soon were off running again, putting the coats on and doing their hair differently. Keada let her hair go down and Lynda put her hair up. The two girls soon were outside of the mall and running down the street. Soon they ran into an other clothing store. Laughing they hid in the store as they watched the two guards running the other direction. They were on their phones, probably calling back to the mansion.

“Back up might be here soon, we should get to the race as fast as we can.” Lynda spoke as she stood up and went outside with Keada.

Keada smiled and walked over to the street. “Cab!?” she smiled as one pulled up to them.

The two girls went in and soon gave the directions to the race. In a matter of a few minutes, the driver stopped and the girl’s split the cost. Stepping out they soon joined a crowd of kids who came to watch the race. The two girls still looked as if they were running from something.

Keada looked around and messed her hair so it would hide her identity, pulling the coat around her body, she could not have anyone seeing who she was and yelling it out or something.

Jack was doing his morning car check. It was a nice 95 nissan skyline gtr. It was all black with Frost tagged on the side in white and blue. This was his baby that took him a few years to get. He used to drive a old run down GTO. The one that he gave to Kai as a 18th birthday gift. As he was done doing his morning checks he went to make lunch. It was around 11am. The night befor they were at a race and then a after party for Jack. He won his race and him and Kai got to pay the rent. He didnt get to race offten because he mostly always won. This was his gift the gift of Street Racing. He wouldnt let Kai race because its a good way to make enemies. The Yakuza had it out for Jack. One because he was the best and two because he owed them alot of money. Jack was almost done with lunch and called out for Kai to wake up.

Kai was still fast asleep on the top bunk. Him and Jack shared a bunk bed. Kai started to wake up at the smell of fresh fish coming from the kitchen. He opened his eyes full as he herd his brothers voice call for him. He let his brother know he was awake and jumped down off the bunk. He walked to the bathroom and cleaned his face and brushed his hair. Kai wasnt much for how he looked but he had great hair. He walked out of the bathroom and twords the kitchen. On his was he passed the garage on his way and took a deep breath. The air and a sweet smell in it. The aroma of the cars was somthing he loved so much. He walked back a little to take in some more of it. Kai made his way to the kitchen after he herd his brother tell him to hurry up.

In the kitchen Jack made fresh sushi. Kai knew somthing was up while he looked at his fav food. Kai didnt say anything about it because he knew Jack would let him know. After Kai and Jack ate all of the food Jack told him what was going on.

Jack said that he had some good news. He had a race tonight. One that will get the Yakuza off his back win or lose. All he had to do was race to see if he was the best. The Yakuza had a racer he was the leaders real son. If Jack wins he gets to say hes the best and be debt free. If he lost he would have to stop street racing and be debt free. Jack seemed happy about it seeing how the debt was to high for him to pay. This would be an easy way for him and kai to live without danger from the Yakuza. Kai slamed his fist on the table. Kai started to say what happens if you lose. Kai was mad at the fact that he cant race after he loses. Jack just nodded his head and told Kai it was a good thing. Kai got up and left the kitchen he was going to take a shower.

Jack looked at his brother walk out of the room and shook his head. Jack knew that this was for the best. If he lost he would get another job and help Kai find one. Jack loved his brother and wouldnt let anything bad happen to him. This was why he kept him out of racing. He taught Kai how to drive but never how to race. Jack started in on the dishes while his brother took a shower. He already took a shower before he checked his car. Jack didnt work today and that was a good thing. The race was the most important thing on his mind.

In the shower Kai started to calm down. The water hit his body and washed it clean. Kai couldnt stop thinking about the race. It was a good thing and after he calmed down he was happy. He had no doubt that Jack would win. Kai always looked up to his brother. Jack was the best and no one was going to beat him Kai was sure of it. After he was done in the shower he got dressed and headed for his car. Jack told him that they were going to take his. Its been awhile since Kai rode with Jack.

Jack and Kai headed for the Drift Hill. Jack was going to pratice befor the race. Kai couldnt belive that Jack was letting him ride with him. It wasnt all the time Kai got to go with so he was happy. On the way to the hill Jack told Kai to send out the word. Kai started to text everyone he knew. Befor long everyone that was anyone had the invite.

After a few runs down the hill Jack asked Kai if he was hungry and Kai said yes. So Jack made his way to a local tofu shop. At the shop Kai and Jack talled a little about life and how fun its going to be after this race. Jack told Kai win or lose this was going to be his last race and Kai was happy. Jack wanted out of this life and this was his shot. Jack was going to lose this race on purpose.

Jack and Kai finished the tofu and left the shop. On the way to the race Jack told Kai his plan to lose. Kai was ok with it and didnt blame him. As they pulled up to the race it was packed. Kai got out of the car and saw his sister. Kai couldnt belive it. He ran to her and gave her a big hug with no words. He hasnt seen her for a year. After school ended her father kept them apart. Kai grabed her hand and headed for the car. Trying to make his way trew the crowd. The race bugun befor he had a chance to show Jack who he found. The crowd went crazy and the two cars went around a corner Jack infront. Kai was a bit sad but turned to his sister.

"Hi sissy. I missed you" Kai said to his sister. Kai smiled and looked at the person who was holding on to his sister. "Is this your friend?" He asked as he pulled out his phone to check the video feed of the race. At all the Best turns there were people posted. The video was a live feed of the race and at the second turn Jack was still in the lead.

Keada and Lynda where both excited about the race. They were chatting softly to each other, while watching as they two drivers soon were in their cars.

Keada was suddenly hugged by someone and then dragged to another place. She reached back and grabbed Lynda’s arm as they were both soon dragged to another part of the crowd. When finally they stopped Keada looked at who had hugged and dragged her. Her lips soon formed a huge smile. She could not believe who was standing in front of her. “Kai!” she hugged him, almost pouncing on him. “Kai it’s been too long, I’ve missed you so much.” She finally let him go to hear his question about Lynda. “Oh yes, this is Lynda, she’s been my best friend for a long time.”

Lynda could tell that this boy was related to Keada, mainly because they hugged, looked so happy and he called her sissy. She smiled and giggled softly as she was named. Bowing at her waist, she soon looked back at the boy called Kai. “It’s so very nice to finally meet you, Keada has told me lots about you.” Lynda smiled her charming sweet smile. She soon watched as the boy soon pulled out his phone. She could see the race and she smiled.

Keada saw the phone as well and then leaned on her brother’s side. “What’s the race for anyway? All we were told is that there is a race.. A street race. Plus we were bored so we ditched the guards and came here.. So what is so special?” Keada asked as she sighed softly and wrapped her arms around Kai’s waist, snuggling into his arms she just waited. She liked to just stay in his arms; he did not even have to hold her. She just loved this.

Lynda could not help but to smile softly as she watched her best friend snuggle with her brother. She moved closer just so she would not get separated form them. She soon leaned over to watch the race from Kai’s phone as well. She hoped that she would not be intruding.

"You guys snuck away."Kai said with a harsh tone in his voice. He held on to his sister and sisnt pay much notice to the other girl. He was watching the race and held the phone up for the other to to watch. He continued watching and the race was half done. Jack was still in a good lead. KAi knew his brother was going to trow the race at the end. Kai herd the question the girl asked and answerd.

The race is to see who is the best. My brother or my sissys brother. Kai said in a low tone. He wanted to tell his sister the rest but didnt trust the girl. It wasnt that he didnt like her it was just he didnt know her yet. If his sister was here then her gauds were not far behind. That and her step brother is in the race so that means her dad is at the bottom. Kai didnt want to think much about it and went back to the race.

Jack was coming up on the last turn and let the other car pass him. It ws a few more seconds and the race was over. The crowd fell silent. Jack made it look to bad. It was no question about it he trew the race and everyone knew it. So people looked at Kai and asked what happened. Kai just said he didnt know and let go of his sister. at the bottom the winner of the race was mad. He got out of his car and walked over to his father. Kai looked at the live feed in his hand and his brother got out of his car. A few men came out of the crowd around Kai and put him and His sister in a van. His sisters friend wasnt with them. His phone was soon taken and him and his sister sat in the van in silence.

Keada smiled innocently at her brother, soon though watching the rest of the race. She frowned softly as Jack deliberately didn’t win. She wondered why. “Why did he not-“ she was cut off when she was suddenly grabbed. Her and Kai were grabbed by some me. “LYNDA!!” she screamed out for her friend. She did not know what was going on. She closed her eyes and soon they where in a car. Opening her eyes, she looked around. Sighing she glared at Hikaro who was sitting to her right and Kanto was sitting to her left. She looked forward and saw her father, next to him her brother. “Hi.” She smiled innocently and looked over to see Kai one over from her, next to Kanto.

“Keada! What were you thinking? And you what was with your racer?” Keada’s father turned from Keada to Kai. He seemed to have a confused and angry look on his face.

Keada knew nothing of this so she sat up on her knees and climber over Kanto. He saw her and grabbed her by the waist, putting her back into her seat. “Hey I just want to sit by Kai!” she spoke angrily as she once again crawled over Kanto. She soon sat on down next to Kai, slipping her arms around his. This might calm her father down more. Kai might not be in much trouble. She hoped very much so.

Lynda was so confused on what the hell had just happened. Jack faked the race, Keada and her brother were dragged off and she was left alone in a crowed of people who were just as confused as she. “What the heck?”

Kai held onto his sisters hand and didnt say a word yet. Her father and brother sat infornt of them. Two big men sitting next to him and his sister. Kai looked at her father with a stiff lip. He showed no fear. His son had a evil smirk on his face. Kai knew that his brother was following them. He could here his car close behind the van. Kai looked at his sister and smiled. Her father asked her a question. Kai was the only one who knew the answer. He wasnt going to say a word but her father spoke again. "Your debt has been paid with your brothers blood."

Kai's hands clintched into fists. His legs made his body fly into the air. The two men pulled him back into his seat. Kai started to yell "Were is he. Were is my brother." Kai knew he was following them. It had to be he was certain it was his brothers car. The boss was going to say somthing but his son trew a phone at Kai. Kai looked at the video that was playing. It took place after they were in the van. He saw his brother and some men around him. It was about 5min after the race was done. The hill was empty in the video. The guys started to beat on his brother. Tears started to run down his face. when his brother started to scream out Kai the tears came faster. Then his brother stoped. A loud bang silenced him. Kai became silent and droped the phone.

"You will race my son in one year time. Then i will grant you to have your sister again. If you run she dies if you lose she dies." her father said. His sone smirk tuned into an evil smile. Kai just noded his head and went blank. The boss started to speek again "Your brothers car and everything else is mine. I will let you have you old run down GTO. I will be watching you so dont try anything stupid. I will alow you to see your sister once a week of one day. My men will of couse be with you both. If you try to lose them i will kill you both. Good bye and see you in a year." Kai didnt have a chance to say anything when the van stoped. He was trown out and it pulled away. He saw his brothers car behind it with blood on the windshiled. Kai started to puke.

Lynda heard a gun shot and knew that something was up. So instinct she ran back to the leader’s mansion. Here she waited by the sets for Keada.

Keada clung to her brother, gasping when he tried to lung at her father. She soon buried her face into his arm. Only listening to the words spoke. She looked when the phone was tossed and watched as Kai watched as well. Her eyes widened and she covered her mouth. She looked away at the very end, tears started at in her eyes. “Kai…” she spoke softly, she wanted to comfort him but then her father started to talk once more. She looked up suddenly and stared at him. She could not believe what he had said. She could not believe that he would kill her. Watching and listening she turned to Kai, she wanted to say something, but she could only just stare. She lightly wrapped her arms around his body. She did not know what to say if there was anything to say at all.
Keada was not listening anymore to what her father was speaking of. She just wanted to hold Kai. However all her wants were soon thrown out of the van. She screamed, “KAI!!!” Kanto covered her mouth and shoved her over to Hikaro who held her down in his lap with her mouth covered. She did not even have time to say good-bye to him. She wished she could have. Looking at the back of the van, she started to cry. Closing her eyes, she stayed still in Hikaro’s lap until they arrived at the mansion. She looked up and over at her father, glaring was not helping so she then looked at her brother. He smirked and she got up from her seat. She walked behind him too soon jump him and wrap her arms around his neck, pulling her neck close to her body, cutting circulation. “How could you do suck a thing?! What to fuck is wrong with you! Your should die! You deserve to die!” tears started to pour down her face as her words mixed and mashed together along with her yelling as the guards tried to pull her off of the boy. She kicked, yelled, and screamed as they carried her to her room. Soon they locked her in the room, guards posted at every entrance. Keada went and sat in the corner of the room, her eyes red and still flowing with tears. She could not stop as she soon took out her phone and texted Lynda. Where are you?

Lynda could hear the screaming and then fighting, but she was not allowed to go in. she sighed and then sat down on the sidewalk. Soon her phone rang and she answered the text. I’m on the sidewalk, what happened?

I’ll tell you later, please go and find Kai, he should be near the race, please he’s sad, hurt and alone.

Alright I’m going <3 take care Keada Lynda smiled softly and then ran off back to the race sight. She did not see anything but then once she followed the tires to where that van had stopped, she soon found Kai. Walking up to him slowly, she stopped a few feet in front of him. “Your sister is worried about you and so am I, is there anything I can help you with?”

Kai layed on the road and was waiting for death. He didnt want to do anything exept die. Maybe if he was dead like his brother his sister will live. He couldnt do the race he wasnt any good. He didnt even know were to start. What would he do. Was this going to be his sisters last year to live. Kai made up his mind he wanted to die. Jack left him and now he had to race for Keada's life. Kai layed down on the floor untile he herd a voice.

Kai sat up fast and noticed it was his sisters friend. She asked him somthing but he didnt hear a word. He held out a hand and asked "Do you mind helping me up?" Keada's friend helped him up best she could. Kai didnt know were to go. He couldnt show him self at his old home. Were his brothers death would haunt him more. He started to walk to the cab Keada's friend used to get here. The cab man got out. He was a old asian man. He reminded Kai of his foster dad. Kai smiled as the old man helped him into the car. Keada's Friend got into the car and Kai told the old man the adress of his old home. Kai had to get some things and his car. On the way to the house Keada's friend started talking to Kai.

Kai was just chit chating mostly trying to keep off of what happened tonight. He asked her name and learned it was Lynda. He also found out what her and his sister did today. As the cab pulled up to the house Kai's car was infront and not in the garage. He got out and looked inside all of his stuff was inside. They didnt have much but everything was here. Lynda got out and paid the cab man. The cab pulled away and Kai said "Thank you" to the man. He didnt chage much just for the gas which was like $1.50 Lynda was happy about that. Kai found a note that said his roommates didnt want any trouble. He didnt blame them. Kai asked Lynda "Mind if you drive? I dont know were you live." Kai smiled and hoped if he wasnt asking to much to stay at her appartment.

Lynda smiled softly as she helped him up. They soon took the cab to his place, talking a little along the way. Once they arrived at his place she could see what had happed and she felt very sorry for Kai. When he asked if she could drive to her place she smiled softly. “Oh sure thing Kai.” She took the keys and went into the driver’s side of the car. She waited for him to get in as well before she started the car. Turning the ignition on she backed out and soon headed north to her apartment. She avoided however the main street that went straight to her place since it went past Keada’s home and she highly doubted he would like to see that place. It took a few minutes longer then normal but soon she arrived. “Here we are, now do come in and rest up. I’m sure I have extra blankets and pillows for you.” She smiled softly as she offered him to stay the night. She was not entirely positive if he needed a new home or if he had one in line but he could stay at her place as long as he would need, she really would actually like the company.

She walked to the apartment building and walked up the stairs to her home. “I’m sorry it might be messy, I was not expecting someone to show up.” She smiled sweetly as she unlocked the door and walked in. “Make yourself at home.” She said as she soon walked into the kitchen and began on making her snack, “Would you like anything to eat or drink?”

Keada finally got up from her corner just in time to see Kai’s old car turning the corner right before this home. She smiled softly knowing that Lynda was driving that car to her place. Keada finally felt like Kai might be doing better and so she smiled softly and crawled into the bed. Curling up into a ball she sniffled softly, “I Love you Kai.”

Kai was happy that Lynda was going to drive him away from this place. He got into the car and waited for her to drive the car. She soon started driving and went north. Before they passed Keada's fathers house Lynda tuned. Kai waited to see were she was going. He soon found out that she turned for his sake. Even tough he just met this girl he liked her. She was kind and he needed that right now. He wished he could see his sister but hes only able to see her once a week. This was the only thing nice about the whole thing. He knew that Keada's father knew that Keada was going to need him. He didnt get to see her a whole lot but he wanted her so bad right now. As long as he knew she was ok is all that matterd. Lynda coming to his aid ment that Keada sent her. Kai knew that Lynda was doing this for her friend but he hoped in due time they would be good friends.

Kai and Lynda got to Lynda's place. Lynda said it might be dirty but when kai walked in he was glad. His definiton of dirty was not hers. Her place was neat. It was a bit messy but he didnt mind. She asked him if he needed anything but he didnt. Kai took up a spot on her couch and layed down. His mind was going on and on about what happened today. Lynda soon came out with some blankets.

Kai got up and took them from her saying "Thank you Lynda for everything." He layed back down and Lynda was walking to the kitchen. Kai started to think. Lynda was so nice she should know what was going on. Kai dicided what to do. "Lynda we will talk in the morning. Please wake me when you wake up." Kai waited for her to respond then closed his eyes and tryed to sleep. All night he tossed and turned. He moaned a few times but he was sure Lynda didnt hear him. It wasnt until the sun was coming up when he finaly fell full asleep. Kai knew he would be waken soon but these few momments of deep sleep helped.

Lynda woke him up and said that she was going to make him somthing to eat. She already took a shower to give him some more time to sleep. Kai was thankful for her kind actions.

Lynda took a sip of a juice and then went to fix up the couch for Kai. She pulled the pillows and blankets out and soon handed them to Kai. “Oh please no need to thank me. You’re the brother of my best friend, I’ll do whatever I can to help.” She smiled softly, all her smiles were soft, but she tried to be even softer, even kinder. She soon nodded to his words and soon went back into the kitchen. “Good night Kai.” She whispered as she grabbed a cup of water and headed into her room. Slipping into her pj’s she soon headed off to sleep.

Her night was uneventful and so she woke up to the early light. She looked outside quietly and smiled; going into her bathroom, she took a longer shower then normal, and dressed extra slowly. She then walked back outside, 2 hours later and walked over to Kai. “Kai wake up.” She lightly shook his shoulder, “I’m going to make some food, go and take a bath or shower and then come and get something to eat.” She waited for him to wake up as she then walked into the kitchen and started on breakfast.

On the other side of the streets, Keada’s sleep was filled with nothing but blackness. She rubbed her eyes as she stretched and then curled back up in the bed. If Lynda needed to tell her something or just anything, she could text Keada.

Kai was awoken a few hours after he fell into deep sleep. Lynda had shook him and said he could take a shower. Kai waited for her to leave the room befor he got off the couch. He streched for a while trying to get out all the kinks in his body. The couch wasnt the best place to sleep but it was better then a car. Kai folded up the blankets he used and put them on the couch. He took a few more morning seconds to wake up. Kai started to walk to the shower. On his was he passed the kitchen and saw Lynda already at work. He didnt know how to thank her yet but he knew he was going to have to talk after his shower.

In the shower Kai started to think. He couldnt forget what happened that night. It was like it was burned into his brain. The night he was thinking about wasnt last night. It was the night that his family was first split up. The night him and JAck lost a sister. It wasnt like a normal adoption. His sisters father came into a room filled with the foster kids. Only about 15 kids. He started with the boys but didnt look like he wanted one. When he got to the girls he passed Keada at first. It wasnt until the foster person sugested her. Me and Jack fought to try and stop them from getting to our sister. They soon took her way after Jack was on the floor yelling in pain. After that night me and Jack went to the streets.

The watter was getting cold. It looks like Lynda didnt save much hot watter for me. Kai finished up and headed for the kitchen. Lynda was done and told him to sit. Kai did what he was told. As he sat down he told Lynda that what he is going to tell her dosnt leave the house. She severd him a plate of food but all he wanted was tea. Kai started to talk after she sat down. He told her what happened befor the race. What he and JAck talked about. Then he started to talk about after the race. Lynda didnt say anything while he talked. Kai ended the story with when she brang him back here. Then he asked one simple question if he could stay. Kai pushed the now empty plate away from him. He held out his cup for more tea and waited for Lynda to serve it.

Lynda served him the food and nodded. She would not let this get out to anyone else; she would keep what he was going to tell her a secret. When he started to talk, her eyes stared, not blinking. She could not believe the words that he was saying; she was stunned too much that she could not speak. When he finished, pushed the plate forward, and lifted his cup up, she mindlessly filled his cup with tea and took the plate to the sink. After a few minutes, she shook her head and nodded. “Uh yeah, you can stay here, I’ll clean out the den, and you can sleep there. It had a bed in it but I just used it as storage.” She cleaned his plate as small tears came down her eyes. “Keada.. Poor thing.” She spoke softly, know how much this must be killing Keada inside. Lynda looked at the sink that was filled with water. She drained the water and then turned to Kai. “Is there anything you need to get, clothes or belongings, or do you wish to go out or something. Or anything? I’m not sure what I can do for you but I’ll clean out that room as quickly as I can so you can get settled it.” she looked at him, still not sure what she could do to try and make things better.

Keada crawled slowly from her bed and then crawled into her closet. Putting the light on she pulled down her school uniform and slipped it on slowly. Sighing softly she stood up and walked out, walking into the hallway she made her way down into her father’s room. “where are you?” she whispered softly looking around for him. She so wanted to kill him right now but soon enough her brother came from behind her and picked her up. Keada didn’t scream she didn’t do anything, “Bitch.” Hr brother laughed and just brought her back to her room, laying her on the bed he glared at her and told her to stay put. As he went back outside, Keada walked to the window of her room and leaned her elbows on the ledge. She looked out at the world below and sighed. “they’re all bitched.”

Kai was so happy. He had a place to stay he was worried about his sister. He knew that her father would try his hardest to try and keep them away. Kai also knew that is sister and Lynda could not see eachother anymore. He would take Lynda with him on his weekly visits with her. He didnt want to tell Lynda this yet. He didnt think she could handle this news to. By now his sister would be locked up in her room and her contact to the outside world cut off. Kai siped on his tea. His mind started to race. How would he learn the ropes. Who will teach him. How would he get things he needed. Were can he find the answers. He finished his tea and waited for Lynda to take his minds off of things.

Lynda watched as the boy drank his tea. He seamed to be thinking about many different things. She looked around and spotted her phone. Flipping it open, she sighed softly. “Nothing.” She spoke to herself. Looking around then room her eyes landed on Kai’s outfit. She smiled and then walked over to his side. She slipped her arms through and around his. “Come on, lets go shopping for some thing new for you to wear.” She had on a grin as she pulled his away from the kitchen. “Have you been to the newer mall lately? They have a giant food court, a ride in the actual mall, tons of stores and a bunch of other things. Wana go. Or do you wish to stay cooped up here forever?” she did not know of much else to ask him if he would want to do. She thought that maybe the mall might be a good way to get his mind off all the things that have happened to him.


Keada sighed as she stared at the outside world. All of the sudden she smiled and ran over to the nightstand she flipped her phone open and then fell back onto her bed. “NO!” her phone had no service the screen said that her whole phone would not work at all. “DAMN IT!!” she screamed out and then hid herself in her bed sheets. “No, oh please no, Kai...” crying into the sheets she could not believe that her father actually cut her off completely to everything. Her phone no longer worked and she was not allowed outside. What was she to do? No Lynda and no Kai, she hated this more then dying. Actually right now, she felt like dying.

Kai smiled. He said yes to the big day out. He went to get his car keys but he couldnt find them. He turned around and he didnt see them. Lynda knew what he was looking for and she didnt know. All of a suden a phone started to ring. Kai looked at Lynda's hand and it wasnt hers. It was coming from his poket. He opened it an a guys voice came on the other line."Hello Kai just listen. Outside you will find a new car. Its not yours but the keys are in it. It also has a map inside. Tomorrow you will come to the big red dot on it. When you get here i will explane more. Dont forget your friend she is not safe alone. Make sure she packs we will send for the boxes. The Yakuza is not to be trusted. Your brother made me promise to take care of you if somthing like this happened. He also said to tell you this. 'To my brother i promise to never leave you.' I hope you trust me and may Frost rest in peace." The phone then cut out. Kai opened up the locket around his neck and removed the old pic's of Jack and his sister. Behind them read what the man just said. Kai knew that his brother had told this guy this. Kai trusted this phantom and told lynda to come on. Kai walked out the door and saw a car parked outside. He smiled and ran to it. He didnt like it but it was better the the pice of shit he had before. Kai liked the knew car but wanted his old one to. Then he rememberd what the guy said this was just a temp car. Lynda then asked a question quite a few....

Luna looked around when she heard a phone ringing. She looked down at her phone it was silent. She soon watched as Kai opened his and listened to someone on the other line he could hear a few things but did not know about what was going on. She did not know anything. She was confused as she watched his hang the phone up and looks at his locket and the picture inside. She then turned and followed him as he walked outside to a newer car. She did not understand a single thing. “Hey! Wait! What is this? What was that phone call? Who was that on the other side of the phone? Why didn’t you talk? What did the person want? Why’d I hear a mention of a map, not being safe, and the Yakuza? And what is with this car?” she did not know what was going on and she wanted to know. She hated being kept out of the loop. “Please tell me.” she walked up to Kai and looked at him. She just wanted to know.

Kai looked at Lynda and sighed. He got into the car and told her to get in. She did what he said and then as they were driving to the mall he told her. He let it all spill out. He reached over to the glove box to get the map. When he opened it a stack of twentys layed on the map. The note on top said for you enjoy. Kai smiled and told Lynda that everything was on him today. She looked a bit out of place. Kai took her hand in his and said not to worry about it. Lynda seemed more at ease and Kai smiled when she said lets spend it all. Kai started to drive faster try to get to the mall as fast as he could.

Lynda listened to his words her eyes were wide. She was confused at first but then she thought bout it more and finally could understand it more. Leaned back slightly in the seat she watched as he pulled out this map and a stack of twenties on it as well. She blinked, now she was confused and out of place. She looked down as he took her hand, she smiled softly, and nodded, she soon became at ease and then grinned. “How about we go wild and spend it all?” she asked with a smirk on her face. They soon went faster as they reached the mall. She smiled happily and clapped her hands. She jumped out of the car and went to the driver’s side. She pulled him out and dragged him into the mall. “First lets get you some new clothes.” She laughed and ran over to the closest clothing store, running to the men’s section she pulled out several different clothes, sizing them up to him she then piled them up in his hands and pushed him into the dressing room. “Try some on and show me.”

Kai showed her some otfits and she soon pickked one. After that she took him all over the mall. For some reaso she was giving him a make over. He liked this idea and he liked the new look he was getting. He hoped that she would get a new look and she did. They were both getting make overs. Somewere along the way he got glasses. He lost his contacts in one of the stores. Lynda was so fun to be around and he loved his new look.
