[Obviously I should have checked the thread before I messaged you back. I am glad you posted! I like your characters attitude he is devilish :)]
Upon entering the giant room Keal was stunned, everything about this new place seemed to leave him that way. He didn't like it at all. His golden eyes scanned the room with mistrust. He also didn't like how they announced him as a 'gift.' As if he could just be givin from one human to another. He was no man's property.
Almost immediately a young man, perhaps a year or so his junior, approached where they had entered. The man completely ignored the duke who had brounght him and was focused on Kael himself. There was something about the dark haired man that unnerved Kael. "What is he?" The young man asked the Duke.
"He is called an Alielan my leige," The Duke said with false humility although the man ignored him.
"What's your name?" The man asked him. He responded, "Kael," although he was not sure his response was heard. It unnerved him greater still when the young man announced him perfect. Perfect for what exactally? He wondered. The lead was then exchanged from the hands of the Duke to the young man's hands. Perhaps then he could simply be givin as a gift from one to another. He suppressed a growl threatening to begin deep in his throat.
This exchange should have comforted him after the poor treatment he had recieved from the hands of the dukes men but it did not. The duke was dismissed and the man simply turned and walked away with Kael's lead in his hand leaving Kael no choice but to follow.
The words that next left the young man's lips turned him to ice with its chill. "You belong to me now. Do you understand? I like to pamper my pets, but if you're bad, I will punish you," Such a blatent threat and statement of ownership. Punish me? Punish me how? Kael's inner voice growled at the man. I could shred you in a second if these manicles did not keep me. Kael was a prominant member of his people and was not used to being spoken to as the man was. He resented the fact that the man felt he had the right to own another being. He held perfectly still as the man reached to touch his ears. Kael did not like to be touched without his permission.
And then the man expressed concern about his treatment on the ship. The young man was like a bee, peacefully minding its business in one instant, and at you with its stinger in the next. He hesitated slightly then said in his most polite voice, "You are kind to ask after my hunger," he said. The words felt strange in his mouth but he had been taught the human language as a cub in Dea. He was unsure how the young man would prefer to be answered. He had the feeling that he could flip again in an instant. "But I have no complaints," He said to complete his prior statement. That was a blatent lie, he was indeed quite hungry. However hungry he was he didn't want to give the man anymore control over him than he possibly could.
