Age: 17
History: Jade's brothers and sisters look nothing like her, as you would notice if you placed them by eachother. When she was little, her mother told her she was adopted, and that she had no problem with her trying to find him, so when she was sixteen, she went out searching for him. She finally found him and he told her he loved her and that he wasn't financially ready for a child, and he answered her questions. She came back later with more questions for him, and he told her to get out of his life, that he didn't want her. She mostly keeps to herself now. Her parents moved her to the city so she could get used to the city before she went off to college.

Layla stood in her room, brushing out her hair and straightening it
before finishing with her makeup and applying a shiny lip gloss and then getting her stuff
to take off to school, making sure everything was in place before she walked down the stairs
and out the door to her car, backing p and heading towards the school.

Jade-Marie sighed as she picked out her outfit, throwing a black sweatshirt over it. She quickly grabbed her backpack as she ran down the stairs, grabbing a muffin as well. She got in her car and started it, starting to eat her muffin.

As she walked into the school, Jade kept her head down as she heard various whispers from girls and whistles from guys. She took out a piece of paper that had her class schedules and her locker number. She walked to the directed locker and stopped, opening it. She threw her books in it, except a few and walked to her next class. She walked to her class and saw only three open seats. She walked to one of them and looked up at a boy who was sitting next to the spot. "Uh...can I sit?" she asked, nodding her head at the empty chair.

((That's the boyfriend...just to clear that up.))

Layla walked into the school and her first class, seeing a girl by her seat and she walked
past the girl and sat in the seat and then she pulled out her stuff and started doodling
in a notebook, pretending as if Jade wasn't there.

((I was hoping you would do that :)))

Jade nodded and shrugged her bag up on her shoulder a little more. "Right..." she said quietly, looking in another direction. She slowly walked to one of the other seats. During that class, she sat in agony as the boy next to her was passing gas like he ate burritos for breakfast.

Layla went through class not once looking at the girl until the teacher called out and introduced her as the
new girl, then she looked over at her with a warning look. She'd tell her how things worked later, and how thing
will work if she doesn't keep t the rules.

Jade-Marie blushed and looked down at the desk as the teacher introduced her. She was a fairly shy girl. She looked up at Layla who gave her a rude look, and she looked back down at the desk again. She covered her mouth and nose as she took out her journal/sketchbook and began drawing random things.

Layla waited silently for the day to get on, history was a bore session and she wanted to be able to talk to the newbie in the school before she got into her way of anything at all and she did a count down just before the bell rang and gave her a note that said 'meet me in the girl's locker room before PE' then left the class.

Jade read the note and shrugged. She plopped it in her locker and walked to the locker room. She got her gym uniform and put it on. She waited until Layla came in, then waved at her. "So, what did you want to talk about?" she asked with a smile.

Layla smiled and waited for the other girls to leave to class and they were all alone and
she walked over o her but kept a slight distance as if the girl were poisonous.
"I wanted to tell you how things worked around here..." she told her easily and crossed her arms over her chest. "I run the things here, I am like... queen of the hive here, which means you follow simple rule, stay out of my way, stay away from my boyfriend, don;t mess with me... break any of those rules, and you'll wish you were never born." she said and gave her that stare that told her she wasn;t kidding than easily walked out of the locker room into the gym then out into the soccer field.

Jade didn't understand why Layla was being so angry, so she shrugged it off and went into the gym, smiling as usual. She walked out to the soccer field and took the last position on her field, which happened to be goalie. She put on the gloves that were sitting on top of the net and put them on, staring at the moist dewy grass.

Layla got ready and they started kicking the ball, Layla quickly stole it from the opposite team and her and another girl kicked it back and forth and Layla kicked the ball towards the goalie, easily watching as it made it;s target and she smiled and waited for it to come back onto the field.

Jade sighed as she watched the ball go right past her into the net. She threw the ball back into the field and waited for the ball to come back. She knew that she'd be ready this time.

Layla smiled, doing the same routine only in a different pattern when she was about to shoot the goal she acted as if she were sending it left but kicked it right.

Jade-Marie quickly dove for the ball to the left, but fell and got a large cut from a rock on her lower arm, along with scrapes and dirt. She sat on the ground and threw the gloves off. Nobody cared to help her, so she walked to the edge of the field and started wiping up her scrapes and cuts.

Layla sighed as she saw her tend to her own scared and rolled her eyes, geting the first aid kit and going over. "Hold still..." she said with a sighed and poured some alcohol on a wipe and dabbed her cuts thn she bandaged them up professionally. "One of them might need stitched but i'm not sure... you should take a while out until the pain eases..." she said and streached before she ran back out into the game.

Jade nodded. She laid down and stared up at the sky. Her cut was still stinging from the alcohol, but she knew she had to bare it. She closed her eyes and wished she could go back to her old life. There were only about 25 people in her grade, and she knew all of them like best friends.

Layla sighed, feeling a bit bad about how rude she was earlier so whenthe game ended she walked over. "Want to go for ice crea after school...s'on me..." she offered her.

Jade shrugged and shook her head. "No, that's okay...it was an accident, just a game." she said with a smile. She stood up and walked back into the locker room, changing back to her regular clothes, then heading to lunch.

"It's not for that though i thought you'd just want to hang out for a while..." she said, following her and putting on her denim mini and her spring green top with her black vest and knee high boots.

Jade nodded and smiled. "Oh, uh, okay then, sure!" she said. She walked away and walked to lunch, sitting at one of the tables where nobody else was sitting, but she wondered if anyone would sit with her.

She nodded and skipped lunch, going out to her car and listening to music while she did all her homework for the day since she wouldn't have time to do it at home then walked to art class just before the bell rang.

Jade slowly ate her food by herself for the rest of the lunch period. She sighed and threw away the rest of her lunch. She walked over to her locker and grabbed her books, heading to her next class.
