Professor Dumbledore, current headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, stood at his podium at the front center of the Great Hall and peered down at them with a smile, his eyes dancing with joy at seeing his students faces another year. He quickly gave his address, filled with reminders of where not to go, rules, etc., including introducing Professor Remus Lupin as the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher.
Professor McGonagal then entered with the first years as the Sorting Hat, placed on a stool, sang it's song to them. Everyone in the room smiled as the first years were sorted - some following in their siblings footsteps. All were welcomed at the four tables as they took their seats near the 7th years.
Everyone dug into the mounds of food that appeared on the tables once Dumbledore began the feast. Soon it was over and it was time for bed. The next day term would begin, and the students were in for a marvelous surprise.

Due to Jonathan being away 11 ½ months out of 12 due to Auror business, Clarice has been seeing a muggle while Jonathan is away and has half a mind to divorce Jonathan and marry the muggle. Kalli, who knows about the muggle, has never spoken a word to anyone outside of her group of friends about it for fear it will travel the school and she’ll be the laughing stock – or worse, reach her father.
History: Ever since Kalli was a toddler, her father has been an Auror and come close to death multiple times. She rarely sees her father so she doesn’t have a very close relationship with him. However, she’s very close to her mother and receives letters weekly and gifts every couple of months from her father as he travels the world.
Fondest/Worst Memory: Her fondest memory is the day Josh gave Kalli a locket that had once been a family heirloom. Her worst memory is the day it was rumored that Josh had cheated on her with one of her dear friends. Kalli, of course, knew the rumor was false but due to her insecurity, she couldn’t help but think that it might be possible.
Appearance: Kalli is a slender 15 year old with average breasts who stands 5ft 6in. She has bleach blonde hair, a few shades darker than Draco Malfoy’s hair. Her eyes are dark sapphire in color and have a bright shine to them. She has fair peach skin and has the same piercings as Saiyuri. However, in the usual place she wears small hoops to match the ones in her cartilage. She wears medium shade eye make up and is always seen with a Hufflepuff colored headband in her hair during School Hours. Personality: Kalli is a typical 15-year-old girl. She’s a bit ditzy, fun-loving, always getting into mischief, a bit naïve, but a very loyal friend and girlfriend. Kalli loves to Party, but she never gets carried away and will always buckle down and study when she needs to.

A month into school, Leane Supton, a sixth year Slytherin, was still not used to waking up early for class.
Josh Supton, Leane's older brother and a 7th year Slytherin, sighed as he looked at the watch his father gave him for a Christmas his fifth year. As a young Slytherin came down the stairs, Josh stopped her and inquired impatiently, "Is Lee up yet?"
"Nope. She's still zonked out. Want me to get her?"
"If you would, I'd appreciate it."
Smiling, the young girl ran back up the stairs to the Girl's Dormitory. Rushing over to Leane, Polly, the young Slytherin girl, pulled the blankets from Leane and pointed her wand at her face, "Aquamenta."
Startling awake, Leane wiped the small bit of water out of her face as her hair began to crackle and she glared at the young Slytherin. "JOSH!" Leane screeched as Polly ran from the room and down the stairs.
Grinning as he heard Leane's lovely screaming, Josh called up the stairs, "Get down to breakfast! You're going to be late!"
With that, Josh headed out of the Common Room to meet his six year girlfriend Kalli St. Pier, a Hufflepuff in Leane's year.
Sighing, Leane got up from her bed and brushed her hair out, leaving her long raven locks, tinted with bubblegum pink and cotton candy blue streaks, long and wavy. Slipping on her uniform, Leane replaced her uniform shoes with her black Mary Jane's before putting on her eyeliner and a hint of green eyeshadow. Applying a small dash of lipgloss, Leane checked herself in the mirror to make sure her waist length locks were all in order before heading out of the dormitory, out of the Common Room, and making her way down the halls towards the Great Hall.
Matthew woke with a start as a pack of young Gryffindors chatted, a bit louder then necessary, as they left the dormitory.
Rubbing the sleep from his eyes, Matthew rolled out of bed and searched through his trunk for a clean school uniform.
"They wake you up to?" Brian, a fellow 6th year, asked Matthew as he to got out of bed.
"Yeah. I think the younger students need a reality check." Matthew grumbled in response as he changed into his uniform and hurried out the door.

Nashita, a 6th year Ravenclaw, rubbed her eyes from sleep as she woke with a start from her internal alarm clock, as she put it anyways.
"Morning." Nashita said happily to a few first years in the common as she made her way to the dining hall, unphased by the early mornings.

Ben rolled over in his bed, opening his eyes to see his partner, Jack, still fast asleep. Being as quiet as possible, Ben got out his uniform and changed quickly before making his way to Jack's sleeping form.
"Jack?" He asked, shaking the boy's shoulder. "Its morning." He prompted.
Jack grumbled a response as he pulled the bed covers over his head. "Come on." Ben encouraged as he pulled the blanket from Jack's face and shook him lightly.
Still half-asleep, Jack got out of the bed and quickly dressed as he stumbled after Ben towards the dining hall. "Stupid mornings." He mumbled as they wandered through the halls and earning a laugh from Ben.
Walking towards the place in which Kalli and Josh met, Josh passed Ben and Jack walking through the halls. Chuckling at Jack's sluggish form, Josh nodded to them, "Morning lovebirds, Kal up yet?"
"Of course I'm up, I'm not a sleepyhead like Lee!" chimed Kalli as she popped around the corner and walked over to the three boys, "Morning Ben, Jack. Late night?" she teased as she saw how tired Jack looked.

Wandering through the halls, Leane reached the Great Hall still fuming. Stalking over to the group's usual table, the students in her path getting out of her way in a heartbeat as they noticed her facial expression and noticed her hair crackling, Leane sat down in her seat and began piling bacon and eggs onto her plate as her goblet filled with cranberry-apple juice.
"Jackie's not much of a morning person." Ben teased as the group walked towards the Great Hall which Jack simply grunted an agreement. "See?" He laughed as they walked through the stone corridors.

Matthew met Nashita in the halls as they walked towards the Great Hall. "Morning." Matthew said as Nashita neared him.
"Morning." Nashita said cheerily.
"Someone is too much of a morning person." Matthew teased as they walked through the doors of the Great Hall.
"I can't help it if everyone here is lazy except for me." Nashita laughed as they neared their usual table.
"Hey, Lee." Matthew said as he took his usual seat. "Have a bad morning?" He asked as Nashita sat beside him and placed a few pieces of toast on her plate.
Josh chuckled as he wrapped his arm loosely around Kalli's shoulder, "Sounds like Lee. Had to have Polly use water to get her up again."
Kalli sighed, "You're so mean to her, no wonder she's always furious with you!"
Chuckling, Josh placed a tender kiss upon her temple, "Perhaps, but as long as you still love me, I think I'll survive."

Leane sighed as she stabbed at her eggs, "Josh. He made Polly, a third year Slythie, pour water on me to get me up this morning! A simple 'Get up Lee! It's morning!' wouldn't suffice? Honestly! He's so vile sometimes! How was your morning?" she asked Nashita and Matt as she took a bite of her mutilated eggs.
"And we're the lovebirds." Ben teased as he bumped Jack's hip, earning a slight scowl.
"Its too early to be happy." Jack grumbled as the group entered the Great Hall.
"You'll be happy once you get some food in you." Ben said as he sat beside Matthew with Jack on sitting on his other side. Loading a plate with eggs and toast, Ben placed it in front of Jack before turning to the rest of the group. "Morning guys." He said as he started to get his own food.
"Hey Ben." Nashita said, leaning in front of Matthew to see the couple. "Jack." She smiled as Jack dug into his food and gave her a nod, his mouth filled with eggs. "Morning you two." She said happily to Kalli and Josh.
"Hey guys." Matthew nodded as he put a few pieces of bacon on his plate and beginning to eat.
Kalli smiled at Nashita and Matt as she sat next to Leane, Josh on the other side of her, "Morning everyone! Pleasant night?"
Leane scowled as she reached behind Kalli and slapped the back of Josh's head. Josh, in retaliation, returned the gesture, causing Leane to become more furious and hit him again, "Josh! You have no right hitting me! Stop it!"
Returing the slap, Josh retorted, "You have no right to be hitting me! It wasn't me who woke you up!"
"You were the cause of it, so stop it!" Leane retorted with another slap.
Before Josh could slap Leane again, Kalli grabbed his hand and linked her fingers through his, "Enough you two. You're acting like two year olds. Can you please act your age for once?! Jeepers!"
Leane stuck her tongue out at Josh as she smirked before shoving a piece of bacon into her mouth. "So you guys ready for potions?"
"Oh, of course." Matthew rolled his eyes. "I bet Professor Snape is just overjoyed to have me in his class." He sighed.
"Well I'm excited." Nashita added. "I love Potions. Its my favourite." She smiled as she bit into her buttered toast. "History of Magic is far to boring but Potions always holds my attention. I just love mixing a bunch of ingredients together." She laughed, knowing how odd she sounded and not caring in the least.
"Well I'm for Potions as well." Ben smiled as he took a bite of his own toast. "Whether or not Snape likes me." He laughed.
"He just doesn't like us because we're Hufflepuffs." Jack said, feeling slightly better having eaten his eggs. "All Slytherins do." He shrugged. "Except for you guys of course." He added, glancing at Leane and Josh.
Josh laughed as he reached over and ruffled Jack's hair, "Well thanks for making us the exception Kentner!"
Leane sighed, "Well at least Nashita and Ben are with me! Matt, Jack, you two are really downers, you know that?" she added with a teasing grin.
"Yeah, well, that's because you're such a teacher's pet, getting all that extra help the past week and a half. Speaking of which, got another lesson today?" teased Josh, causing Leane to blush a deep scarlet.
"Well that's because Snape doesn't favor us." Jack said, fixing his hair with one hand and eating with the other. "You guys are in his house and Nashita's a Ravenclaw so obviously he likes her for being able to do so well." Jack added as he took another bite of his toast.
"Being in Ravenclaw doesn't automatically mean that I have high grades." Nashita said as she wrapped her long, black ponytail around her fingers and earned a few blank starts from Matt, Jack, and Ben. "It doesn't!" She added.
"Ravenclaws are Ravenclaws because they can get such high grades." Ben said blankly.
"Well I have to work for my grades." Nashita huffed. "I think that if you guys worked harder you're grades would improve. Its not all about houses." She said as he tossed her ponytail back over her shoulder.
Josh smirked at Leane as he tugged on her hair, "Well if this little Slythie payed more attention in class, maybe she wouldn't have to get extra help all the time!"
Rolling her eyes, Leane reached across Kalli and punched Josh's stomach, "Shut it."
Kalli sighed as she pressed her fingertips to her forehead, "Honestly you two. Knock it off before I have Matt separate you two again!"
Laughing, Leane smiled at Matt and batted her eyelashes as she teased, "You wouldn't be mean to me, would you?"
"Of course not." Matthew said innocently, giving Kalli a wink. "I'm far too innocent." He smiled, earning a snort from Ben.
"Sure thing." Ben agreed having earned a mock glare from Matt. "So are you guys ready to head to Potions?" He asked as he stood up, Jack stood simultaneously.
"Eerie." Nashita said as the couple stood together before following suit.
"Very." Matthew agreed, after 5 years he was still not used to just how in sync Ben and Jack were.
"I think it's cute," Leane chuckled as she grabbed a few pieces of bacon before following the group, leaving Kalli and Josh to snog a bit before Kalli had to leave for her least favorite class of the day and Josh headed off for Charms.
When Kalli finally caught up to the group, the group was halfway down to the Dungeons and Leane was finishing up her last piece of bacon.
Kalli laughed, "Oh, as if you've never snogged anyone before! Can I help it if Josh is too irresistible not to snog every chance I get?"
Leane made a gagging action as she dodged a smack from Kalli. Laughing, Leane walked into the Potions room and took her seat near back-middle of the room. Kalli, ruffling Leane's hair as she walked pass her to the cauldron below Leane and sat across from her partner Cory.

Ben and Jack left the group to sit at their own cauldron while Nashita sat beside her partner, a fellow Ravenclaw, and Matthew took a seat beside his own partner, a 6th year that he could never remember her name.
Snape cleared his throat once, silencing all the chatter in the Potions. "Today we will be practicing the Shrinking Potion." He droned in his slightly monotone voice. "You will find how to make it in your books on page 195." He said as he walked through the maze of tables before settling at his desk as he waited patiently until the end of class.
While Kalli worked with her partner, fretting over every detail, Leane quickly finished her potion, making it look like she had struggled all the way. Looking over her book, Leane added an extra bit of each ingredient to the cauldron, knowing precisely how much would cause a minor explosion.
As the cauldron began to bubble and prepare to explode. Leane faked suprise as her eyes grew wide and she and her partner, along with nearly all the people at the cauldron's surrounding Leane's , darted away from the cauldron just before it exploded - some of the potion landing in other cauldrons and causing them to explode, while some of it landed on the seats and on the floor, not to mention the ceiling.
"Nice going, Lee." Matthew teased lightly, earning a smack over the head with Snape's book. Wincing, Matthew rubbed the back of his head with a sour face as Snape walked over to Leane's table.
"I expect you'll clean that up in your extra lesson." Snape droned, his voice dripping with fake distain. He rebuked his stomach as it twisted with butterflies at the thought of spending more time with Leane. She was obviously one of his best students and it amazed him how incredibly easily she faked her sudden loss at Potions. Though it did thrill him considerably.
Leane blushed as she glanced up at the professor, "Yes, Professor. I'm really sorry.. I must have measured the ingredients wrong. I'll try not to make the same mistake twice."
Kalli sighed as she stood near Matt and whispered, "I bet you anything that girl will mess up her next potion. She's getting worse and worse as the year goes on! Next thing we know, the whole potion's room will blow up.."
"Its weird, you know." Matthew whispered back quietly, out of range of Snape's hearing. "She was top of the class last year." He shrugged.
"Now that Miss Supton has ruined everyone's potions, this class is dismissed." Snape said, waving his hand to dismiss the class. "However, Miss Supton, you may stay and clean up your horrible mess." He smiled cruelly, those his eyes seemed to smile only in the slightest and only for a moment.
"Great, more time to study." Nashita said as she slipped away to the library once she left the Potions room.
"That girl studies to much." Ben shrugged. "Want to blow off studying and sitting down by the lake?" Ben suggested to Jack who agreed and they ambled off.
"Well I feel loved." Matthew shrugged before heading off for the dorms to take a nap in his free period.
"Have fun Lee," Kalli chuckled with a wink before heading out of Potions to the courtyard to meet Josh for their free period together.
Leane rolled her eyes as she sighed and made a bucket and cloth appear before her with the wave of her wand. Dipping the cloth in the soapy water, Leane began cleaning up the cauldrons as the students finished clearing out.
Snape tried to keep his eyes on his book but his eyes continued to betray him as he spared glances at the young witch as she cleaned. "What type of potion will you be working on today?" Snape asked as he focused his eyes on his book, not really reading at all. "Would you like to attempt the Shrinking Potion again. And perhaps you shouldn't add extra ingredients to it?" He advised as he continued to stare into the pages, forcing himself not to weigh Leane's reaction.
