It was a beautiful summer day and Raven a young koi fish mermaid was swimming in the ocean.She was seperated from all of her koi fish mermaids and mermen like herself.Her long black hair mostly covered her whole entire body.Raven felt so alone without any of her friends.She wasn't sure what part of the world she was at and what ocean she was in.

She got seperated from everyone else because hunters came and began killing them.They had no other choice but to ship most of them off to other seas and oceans so they would stay alive there if they were hidden.No one would believe the hunters if every koi fish mermaid and merman were gone.

Jake, who was a blue tailed merman, was swimming around happily with atleast 10 other mermiads and mermen, he was racing a merman, and then he saw something in the distance. Jake didn't hesitate, he darted off to investigate, as he got closer he noticed it was a mermaid "hello... ummmm... how are you?"

When Jake spoke to Raven,Raven couldn't barley talk.Her hair was covering part of her face.Obviously something was wrong...But what?"Hello...im...not so good."Raven said running her hands through her hair.Everything was so new to Raven.She was scared where she was.It was hard to adjust to something new so fast for Raven.

Jake looked at her with concern "well... ummmm..." he swam a bit closer and touched her shoulder "... do you want to come with me? i have some friends too, you love them, they are so friendly"

"Sure."Raven said rasing her head up to look up at Jake.She noticed that Jake was not bad looking at all.He was nice,friendly,and not to mention caring.The least Raven could do was meet his friends.

Jake smiled and patted her on the back lightly "ok, now your talking, oh i forgot my manners... my name is Jake, what si your?" he asked as he started to lead the way to his friends

"My name's Raven."Raven said with a smile as she swam next to Jake."Its very nice to meet you jake.I always liked that name."Raven said with another smile.

Jake looked at her and smiled "really? wow, thats awesome"he said and then looked towards where they were swimming too "i think Raven is a beautiful name" he said gave a little chuckle

"Yes really."Raven said with a chuckle.When he said he thought her name was a beautiful name she smiled at him."Thank you."She said happily.Raven moved her attention of looking at Jake toward where they were headed too.SHe was actually excited about meeting his friends.

Jake finally got to the rest of his group "guys, this is Raven, Raven this is my group and my friends" he said and smiled at her "so... what do you think? the groups not to big i hope" he said and began to swim arouns Raven in a twisting manner

"Nice to meet all of you."Raven said with a smile."No the group isn't too big."Raven said with a chuckle as he swam around her in a twisting manner.

Jake chuckled and then looked at the others "im going to talk to her in private" he said and then held onto Raven hand "come on"

When Jake said he was going to talk to her in private Raven tilted her head."Is something wrong?"Raven asked Jake looking at him with her sweet smile.

Jake looked back at her "no, its just... we didn't really get to know each other, thats all"

Raven smiled."Its okay.Usually whenever someone wanted to talk to me it was either they were mad at me or i did something wrong."Raven said with a chuckle."So Jake...do you have any hobbies?"

Jake chuckled and then began to think "hmmmm... hobbies... ummmm, i like to chase fish" he said as he grinned at Raven "how about you?"

Raven giggled."I like racing people.Along with exploring underwater."Raven said with a grin.Her koi fish tail popped up from the water as she layed back a bit.

Jake looked at her "racing? i hate that, but i like explore underwater to" he said and swam in circles
