Randy's eyebrow twitched slightly, as if very annoyed. He was sitting in a meeting with nine other vampires. These meetings were 'essential to the survival of there kind' or so his former master called them. He was required to come to every single one and listen to the meaningless topics go back and forth. He needed something to keep him occupied, something worth spending his time on.

Jemini paced, chewing on the inside of her cheek nervously. The council had decided where she was to be positioned, and she didn't know where they were going to send her. Or what job she would get. She dreaded hunting down people or creatures, or guiding souls to heaven. It made her extremely sad or disgusted, mostly in herself. Protection or recon would be the best positions for her.

Layla sighed softly to herself as she listened to the teacher ramble on. She had missed a year of school, because of what had happened and really didn't want to make it up, but she knew it was for the best if she did. She glanced away from her notebook and looked up at the clock and watched it slowly tick away. For some reason she had a feeling something was going to happen today, the last time she had a feeling like this, something bad had happened, something she would never forget. Finally after what seemed like forever the bell rang, time to go home, or rather to an empty house she called home.


Seth nodded as he listened to his job, and exactly what he was supposed to do. The details of the job didn't bother him, he didn't mind killing, even if the person was innocent, although he didn't have many he did have a few morals, he wouldn't just kill for no reason. Only time he killed was when it was required of a job, disobeying and not listening usually ended up with you being dead instead and the other person as well. "Okay, I understand" he said as he nodded and turned to leave the room. Time to head to the human world, and look for this werewolf, that might take a while. Maybe he should find someone to work with him, that way things would go quicker, and his luck the werewolf would have allies.

When the meeting was finally over, Randy couldn't get out of the room any faster. He was already outside, sitting on the roof. "Damn...I hate this crap." He scowled and laid back on his bed and sighed, looking up at the cieling, thinking about what he should do for the night.

When an angel came down at Jemini. She looked anxious. "Well?" The angel nodded. "You are to protect a female, newly made werewolf. She is now making up a year in school. So, we are enrolling you so that it is easier for you to protect her." She felt relieved. "Yes, sir." The man handed over an address and a picture. Then he left her alone. She opened a portal and stepped onto a patch of grass, quickly making her wings disappear. She was already in jeans, a t-shirt and chucks. Even if she was in heaven, she still had some normal clothes.

Seth sighed as he read over the file, on the information they had. They were missing important information, but he would make do without it. It looked like if he was going to plan this right, and get to know her, and have her trust him, he was going to have to enroll in a human school. Wasn't there a way around that? He really didn't want to go to school, in the human world but it looked like he would have no choice, especially since they basically spelled that out for him, starting the next day, he would be a human... student or would at least pose as one, the joy that would bring.

Layla smiled softly as she weaved her way through the crowds of students, she didn't really want to hang around after the day was done there was no reason to. But she found herself not wanting to go home either, maybe she would wonder around outside for a little while, find a park and sit down on a bench. She had changed after what had happened, and her friends had noticed it, she was afraid to get close to people, she wasn't sure if she would hurt someone by accident. As much as she missed her old friends and wanted to be around them, she didn't want to hurt them even more.

Randy groaned after awhile. He was deathly bored. He was one of few vampires that had sorted out a way to go into the sun. So, he jumped out of bed and headed downstairs. He was going to go walk around for a little bit. Until he had to grab something to eat. He disliked just grabbing random people off the street and leaving them in alleyways. It was so....rude and disgusting. But, it was what he was and its not like they'd just let you have their blood if you asked.

Jemini looked around the place. She soon found there were trees nearby and a little lake. Maybe she was in a park of some sort. She shrugged and started walking around, smiling softly at little creatures as she walked by them. They didn't seem disturbed by her at all. She even started humming as she went. She then wondered if the werewolf's school would be over for the day yet. She shrugged to herself. They never said she had to find her before school the next day. So, she just headed down the pathway, seeming almost bored, but happy.

Once Seth got to the human world, he made his way down a random street. He would need to find something interesting to do in till tomorrow, find somewhere to stay nearby where people wouldn’t bother him. Most of all, tomorrow he would need to find her, and watch her carefully, make sure no one was around that would get in his way when he attempted to kill her, he had to plan everything carefully, so no mistakes were made and it couldn’t be traced back to them, the demons.

Layla made her way down the street to the park that was close to her school. It was the place she enjoyed going the most, it had always been that way. She loved watching the kids play, and seeing the animals around, and the beauty of nature where it was almost untouched by human hands. It was the one place she still enjoyed the one place that made her smile. When she was at home, she was alone, her parents where either always working or they were out, she had taught herself to take care of herself. She was alone when she needed someone around the most.

Randy saw an interesting boy pass by and watched him for a moment, then shrugged and kept walking. He'd smelt funny to him, not human. But then again, he knew there were other creatures other than humans and vampires. He knew all too well. He'd had run-ins with many a different species. They all annoyed him, their blood was also disgusting. He shuddered at the thought.

Jemini saw the girl she was supposed to be protecting and watched her for a moment. She was very pretty. She started thinking about her being a werewolf and how that would have had to happen. She shivered a little, then took a deep breath and slowly walked over to her. "Ummm...excuse me. Do you mind if I sit with you?"

Seth noticed something odd about the man he had just passed, he stopped walking and turned and looked at him. He could tell he wasn't human, and he wasn't a demon so that narrowed it down to Vampire. Huum, maybe he should enlist the help of a vampire, they usually worked towards the same goal anyway, it would be beneficial to have someone like him on his side, and they never said he couldn't seek help outside of the Demon's.

Layla looked over at the girl who had talked to her, she had never seen her around before, maybe she was new, or she just hadn't seen her around "No, I don't" She said with a soft smile. The girl seemed nice, and she liked that, it was odd for people to ask to sit with other's these days, usually they would just take the seat, people hardly ever talked to anyone unless they were there friends before hand "Although I don't believe you really had to ask permission for such a thing" She said

Randy could feel the other creature watching him, but he just kept walking. He didn't need another run-in with something unpleasent. They annoyed him emmensely. His hands in his pockets, looking relaxed as he strolled down the street. He had a feeling the creature, something dark, wouldn't give up so easily. If he had to he'd set him straight quickly enough.

Jemini smiled and sat down happily. The looked at her when she spoke. "Hm? Oh, I didn't want to be rude or scare you off by just sitting down." She looked like it would have probably made her sad if she would've done so. Then she looked curious. "Pardon my prying, but I was sort of wondering....why you were sitting here all alone."

Seth watched him for a bit longer, before he grinned and walked after him, once he reached him he started to speak "You're a vampire right? What do you say to a sort of temporary alliance, I'm sure getting rid of this person will benefit your kind just as much as it will mine" he said. He was hoping this vampire wasn't going to be hard to deal with, often they were difficult creatures, he had learned that the hard way. Especially certain female ones, extremely hard to deal with they were, not fun at all.

Layla looked over at her, how she missed the days where she would smile all the time, and be happy like that "You wouldn't have scared me, nor would I have viewed it as rude, rather normal actually, you almost sound like your not from around here" She said. For some reasons he got the feeling something was different and out of place about this girl, like she wasn't human or something but she was probably be paranoid like always "Should I not be sitting alone?" She asked clearly not answering the question.

Randy sighed, then turned and looked at the creature. Then glared darkly at him. "Why don't you talk a little louder so everyone can hear you." He growled sarcasticly, then turned and kept walking. "Why should I help you anyways? And unlike others like me, I don't go around killing people." His voice sounded disgusted.

Jemini blinked and looked at her, her smile slipping of her face a little. "That kind of behavior is normal here?" She sighed and looked at the ground. "No. I am not from around here. I don't really know why I'm here, but this is where I was sent." She blinked and blushed slightly. She then looked at the girl. "Ah. But enough of my sob stories." She smiled again. "No, you shouldn't be sitting alone. I know a number of creeps would like to get their hands on a young girl. Its much easier to do if you're alone."

Layla had been dead on, she wasn't from around here, explained a lot, sooner or later she would understand the customs here "Yes it is, no one really cares anymore, and for most people manners are a thing of the past, along with common sense" She said with a soft smile "Well if you are here there must be a reason" She said as she looked over at her "Well, I don't have an escort, and it doesn't matter, I can take care of myself" She said. At least now she could, besides it was a little to late for her to worry about being alone, after all she had already been attacked once, this time she could fight back and wouldn't be taken down so easily. "Besides, there's no reason for any creeps to be attracted to me" She said.



Seth looked at him, he really wasn't fond of dealing with Vampires, he found them annoying and couldn't stand being around them for the most part. He would rather be locked in a room with those goody goody always cheerful angels, over a vampire "I can, if you would like, I can scream it to, if you would prefer that" he said in a cold voice, he wasn't fond of his reaction and he wouldn't mind screaming it "Huum, but I'm sure it would be good for you're kind as well, to get rid of the werewolf girl, who is supposedly going to mess up things" he said

Jemini's shoulders dropped a little. "Wow...a lot of rude people to deal with." She then shrugged, like it didn't matter too much. "Oh well. I may not look it, but I can take care of myself if need be." She then studied the girl for a moment. "Really? Well, I wouldn't doubt it. Look at the muscle on you." She pointed to her arm and leg. "They may not be big, but they're strong." She smiled. Then shook her head at that last comment. "I think you need to look in the mirror more often. You're gorgous."

Randy growled and turned on his heel to look down slightly at the demon. "What do you want from me? To help you kill an innocent werewolf because someone told you to?" He looked sick to his stomach. "Dispicable." Then he looked around, trying to calm down. "And mess what up, for who?"

"The world is full of rude people, I can't imagine where your from doesn't have rude people" She said. No matter where you went, there were always rude people around, it was like a bad cold that wouldn't go away. "I never said you couldn't" She said and looked over at him "I'm more than capable of taking care of myself, I don't need to be told by someone I do not know, that I can't" She said a bit defensively "Really? I think your the one mistaken, if anything your the one looking in a mirror right now, judging yourself" She said


Seth looked at him, really he should yell out something about him being a vampire, rather yell something about him trying to attack and rob him just to cause him trouble, but he couldn't. "Huuum, so you're a vampire with morals, very interesting" He said with a smirk "It's an old prophecy" he said "You're kind is included, we are labeled under the dark, evil creatures" he said

Jemini blushed slightly. Maybe she'd been to open and given this girl clues as to what she was. Or maybe she didn't believe in angels. She'd have to be more careful about what she said. She then blushed darker and her eyes widened. "No no no, I didn't say you couldn't, on the contrary, I said you'd be very capable of taking care of yourself..." She looked down at her lap, with her shoulders slupped slightly. Then looked at the girl after a moment. Her voice was soft, if not a little hurt. "Nobody thinks they are beautiful or smart, unless they are concieted or vain...it takes someone else to notice these qualities in a person." She sighed. "I'm sorry if I've offended you in any way. Truely that was not my intention."

Randy watched him for a moment, wondering if he was joking. "You beings believe in prophecies? Seriously?" He sighed and scratched his ear a little, as if considering the being before him. "What are you anyway?"

Layla looked at her and felt bad for reacting the way she had "I'm sorry" She said. She had heard from a lot of people she wasn't able to protect herself, and before she wasn't but now she was, although it was to late for that, way to late for that. She couldn't shake the feeling that something was strange about this girl next to her "You aren't human are you?" She asked. She knew if she was it would come off as odd, and she would probably leave but she had a feeling she was right "I suppose so, but I still do not see what you mean" She said with a soft smile. She had been told she was good looking before, but ignore it, it didn't really matter to her if she was or wasn't "You haven't, and I should be saying sorry" She said


Seth stared at him, oh how he would love to drive a stake through his heart, oh the pleasure he would feel from that. He narrowed his eyes and stared at him "Yes, because many have come true, and those that haven't have been stopped from coming true" he said in a bit of a pissed off voice "Demon, Not that bright are you?" he asked

Jemini nodded slightly, looking at the lake a little bit away from them. Then stiffened when she sais she wasn't human. She didn't answer her, but she probably already knew just by her reaction that she wasn't. She then looked over at her and smiled a little. "It's alright." Then she shook her head. "No. I'm not human, but niether are you." She said it as a statement.

Randy chuckled softly, this demon was amusing. "I'm bright enough to survive. Just never smelled one of ya before." He looked him over a little, trying to get a feel for a demon so he would know it next time. "Prophecies, huh? I've never personally seen or heard of a prophecy of any worth come true." He leaned back on his heels a little.

Layla looked at her and she could tell by her reaction, she had been right. Was she to trust her? It didn't seem like she had any foul intentions but what if she did "Why did you come over here and talk to me?" She asked. She got the feeling there was a bit more to the story, then she was letting on "I'm not, but being as you knew that, your here for a reason" She said skeptically


Seth stared at him and sighed "So your a vampire who doesn't get out often, same difference" he said. It was all really the same to him, he had worked hard to master telling different races apart, he had thought of it as a survival method "Well, that's because you just don't care enough to know, or you aren't high enough up in the vampire world to know, you must be lower than an underling" He said with a smirk

Jemini winced slightly. "Don't think me an aweful person....but I was assigned to you...I would've came and talked to you anyway...but this time, I had a sort of duty. Much as I dislike doing this." She sighed and looked at her. "I'm an angel. I was sent to protect you. Obviously, they wouldn't have sent me if it was something you could handle on your own. It looks like some nasty people are curious about you. Though they haven't told me who....even if it would make my job easier." She muttered. Then looked at her warily, hoping she wouldn't be angry.

Randy growled darkly at the insult. "You watch your words." Then he looked off angrily. "I know what I take intrest in. Meetings are boring....old farts talking about things that are no longer relevant."

Layla listened to her speak carefully, once she heard the word angel she relaxed a little although she was still a little weary "Why would people be taking an interest in me? I'm nothing special, there's no reason for anyone to take interest in me" She said and looked at her. Why would someone be after her? There was nothing worth while about her, nothing special, nothing that made her different from the next person.


Seth looked at him "I can tell by your words you are young, if you were old you would understand, that there is a lot more than meets the eye, and that you should be paying attention to certain things" He said with a small shake of his head "But if you would rather to continue to live in ignorance be my guest" he said "And when your race falls apart, you'll know who to blame" He said

Jemini relaxed a little when she didn't react in an angry way. Then she sighed softly and listened to her. Then she shrugged slightly. "I haven't a clue why someone would be after you. From what I know you're innocent." She shook her head a little. "Anyway...my name is Jemini. What's yours? Oh, they only gave me a picture, that's why I'm asking." She sighed again.

Randy's eyes just narrowed at him. "Maybe young for a vampire. But I don't see a hundred plus as young." Then he growled slightly. "I wouldn't give a damn if I was responsible for my race's downfall. I'd rejoice."

Layla looked at her, she really was confused as to what was going on, what was worth going after about her "I don't have any special powers, anything that would make me odd, I don't get it" She said and sighed, looked like she was in for some fun "Layla, it's nice to meet you" She said with a soft smile "It's funny, they can get a picture but not a name" she said with a laugh "Where do you plan on staying?" She asked

Seth stared at him "Same difference, you are young either way" He said. He didn't have to get technical on him, that was clearly what he meant, he really didn't like dealing with them "Your race is such a hard race to deal with, so hardheaded and strong willed, especially those women of yours, truly scary" He said with a sigh "Fine, I'll back down, I can see you aren't interested" he said

Jemini sighed, not really wanting to think about it anymore. She did giggle a little. "Yes, they seem very...odd when it comes to giving information." She then blushed at her question and sort of figeted with her fingers. "Umm...I guess that's another thing they forgot. They put me in your school and most all your classes...by the way. But, they don't find me somewhere to live." She sighed and looked sort of embarrased.

Randy sighed, irritated. "You didn't even tell me who your going after. All I heard was it was a werewolf."
