Other: He is incredibly brilliant, but instead of pursueing the academics, Kasuki maintains average grades and a rebellous attitude.

Haruka was new to teaching at Akita Unviersity, he had just finished his teaching degree and was ready to take on his first class. He was quite nervous about how the students would receive him, but he did graduate the top of his class, which gave him some sense of courage.

Haruka enters the room to find eyes staring back at him, judging his every move, he clears his throat as he approaches his desk. Once settled he moves to the blackboard. "I will be your Literature Professor Takeuchi Haruka..." he writes his name cleanly on the board, beads of sweat form across his pale skin, unsure of what the class must think by his first impression, he tries to give a harsh look to his demeanour when really on the inside he is worried and partly terrified.

Kasuki was taking a pleasant nap; his lean arms folded beneath his head. His friend, and partner in crime, Ryuu watched as their new professor entered the room. As the man took his seat, Ryuu leaned over and nudged Kasuki with a smirk. Kasu growled, one bright green eye fluttering open to glare at his friend. "What?" He asked, shifting in his seat in an attempt to get comfortabe.

"Check it out." He answered with a grin as he nodded in the direction of Haruka. "Our new professor is here. Should we show him how things go around here?" Kasuki raised his head, eyes quickly finding the stranger that now sat behind the desk at the front of the room. The man was rather attractive, but his kind eyes belied the stern set of his mouth. To be sure, all the girls in the class eyed Haruka with admiration. The more outgoing ones sending the young teacher flirtatious looks. Kasuki caught on to the sudden change of the room's attitude and rolled his eyes.

"Whatever." He finally responded, waving off his friend before leaning back in his chair. Ryuu sighed in aggrivation as Kasu watched the professor with lazy eyes.

The class in Haruka's eyes lasts an eternity, not that he wasn't a good teacher, but the nerves inside him was driving him wild. He had to try his best to push them aside and forget those feelings as he pressed on trying to teach the class. One thing that his students wouldn't forget him for was the fact that he took risks with his teaching, he wasn't like he typical Professor who stood and lectured at the front of the class, he tried to get his students involved as much as possible.

He looks down to his watch and recalls the time, "I suppose that's all for today, see you next week." Haruka offers a small smile, almost just to signify his victory in completing his first class of the semester. He turns to the blackboard erasing away as the students exit the room.

Kasuki had to give the man props. He had easily kept the whole class in line with his unique approach at teaching. Even Ryuu had to admit that their new Professor wasn't that bad, but somehow that made the young man even more aggitated. The two friends were among the first to leave the class room, since neither one ever bothered to bring any books. Kasuki stuffed his hands into his pockets as he smirked at Ryuu. They had barely made it out of the classroom when the two friends caught sight of Aito and Daichi across the hall. Apparently, the two jocks had been waiting for them to leave.

Ryuu quickly caught sight of the two slightly larger young men and grinned. "Look who showed up to walk us to Biology class." He mocked as they approached.

"Hey, screw you Ryuu!" Aito snarled as he lunged forward. Kasuki was quicker though, as his arm snapped out to pushed Aito back and into the circle of students that were quickly gathering around them. Daichi took that opportunity to grab a fistful of Kasuki's blazer as Ryuu and Aito turned on eachother. With narrowed eyes, Kasu grabbed his assailant's wrist and dug his finger's into the pressure points until Daichi's grasp weakened. He then twisted the other's arm down and elbowed him in the back of the head.

Teachers were quickly filling the hallway as the sound of the fight echoed against the lockers. Adrenaline pumped through Kasuki's lean frame, and made his vision hazy. He released his grip on Daichi's arm, and the boy fell to the ground. Kasu took a deep calming breath as his bright green eyes locked onto Ryuu's form as his friend traded punches with Aito before Mr. Hiroku from across the hall stepped between the two. The fight was over, but the excitement from the student body was not. They cheered around their four classmates. Fights were not uncommon at this highschool, and Kasuki and Ryuu happened to be in most of them.

Haruka had to smile to himself as he finished gathering his things in the empty lecture hall, clearly his first lecture had been a success, he just like most students that begin teach had made plans for the longest time. Sure he didn't feel as confident as he thought he would be, but as he scans the empty room he remembers how intimidating it was to see so many faces staring at him, some expectantly but most as if they could care less about anything he would say.

Haruka hums to himself as he proceeds out into what he assumed to be empty hallway, but it wasn't to his surprise. It looked like there had been a fight breaking out, students nearly clogged the corridors making impossible to get through. Haruka knew as acting Professor that it was his duty and in the best interests of the students to intervene, not to mention his build was one of the larger ones in height and stature.

He's almost too late when he reaches the centre seeing that Mr. Hiroku had broken up one side of the fight but it appeared that one, student who looked familiar to him was about to continue rough housing with another student. Haruka immediately steps between the two of them specifically eyeing Kasuki, "Enough." he says deeply in a demanding voice hoping he wouldn't have to use physical force to stop the two.

Bright green eyes suddenly looked up at Haruka. He stood his ground for a moment, before shrugging nonchalantly. The fighting was over, and Ryuu was grinning like an idiot; a slight bruise already forming on his cheekbone. Mr. Hiroku had a frim grip on the young man's arm as he looked towards Haruka. "Would you help me escort these four to the Principle's office." He asked, slightly out of breath. "That one looks like he's gonna need some help." He added, pointing at Daichi, whom was slowly trying to get up from the floor; a hand rubbing the back f his head. Come on!" He ordered, grabbing Aito with his other hand and moving down the hall.

The other teachers began yelling at the students that it was over, and they better get moving to their next class. With their hands shooing away the mob of kids, they threatened with anyone who wasn't moving fast enough with detention. Kasuki merely stepped around Daichi and began to follow Mr. Hiroku down the hall; leaving Haruka to help the other boy by himself.

Haruka didn't appreciate this situation he liked things to be simple, and he couldn't understand what drove students to fight in such a way, were they attempting to show off how strong they were? And who were they showing off to, other men, or girls? He sighs grabbing Daichi by the arm, "C'mon let's go." he sighs as they walk down the hall.

Haruka finds his eyes wandering over the blonde in front of him, who didn't really seem to pay any attention and clearly was used to this routine as he walks ahead willingly, it isn't long before they reach the office, Haruka hopes hey get a punishment that makes them think twice about fighting like this again.

The secretary looks up from her desk in time to see as the group reaches the office. She jumps from her seat and rushes to open the door; scowling as the students pass, Kasuki giving her a smirk. "Again?" She sighs with exasperation as she ushers the group to the principle. "It's Kasuki and Ryuu again." She announces as she opens his door.

"Thank you Mary." He responds, pushing his chair back and looking up at the group with a defeated look. "This is the second time this week, you two. Obviously suspending you doesn't work, and none of the teachers want you in their detention class anymore." He sighs, rubbing his nose in thought. "You two get out, you have detention with Mrs. Killinger for two weeks." He suddenly said, waving away Aito and Daichi. The two guys huff, but turn to leave with slight grins.

"Might I suggest we end this already?" Mr. Hiroku speaks up. "I say we kick them out already. It's obvious that neither one wants to graduate." He adds with a triumphant grin.

"What!?" Kasuki demands, suddenly scowling. If we are kicked out with this kind of record, then no school will be willing to accept us! Ryuu might not care, but... It was obvious by the principle's look, that there was really no other option for the two. He had made it clear that none of the teachers had the patience for the two friends anymore. But... there is one more teacher.. Kasuki's head tilts slightly, as he eyes the man beside him. The principle's begining to nod, looking down at his hands folded before him.

Haruka files in to the office along with the group, he never imagined that on his first day he'd be in such a situation as this. He sighs, as they wait for the principles decision. Clearly from the annoyance of everyone else in the room this was a regular scenario that happened quite often, although he found the group of them to take it rather harshly. The boys were young, and when you're young you tend to act out like this, it was mere fact, certainly not worth kicking them out of school for, they just needed the right attention.

The students that he did not know in any shape or form got off with detention which he assumed was appropriate, but then the two left were going to be punished severely. Haruka is disappointed in Hiroku's statement, does he really enjoy teaching at all?

Suddenly Haruka is aware that all eyes are on him, and he's the pink elephant in the room, he turns a bit red from this but stands up straight and clears his throat. His mind was racing he was the last hope for these students but were they really worth the risk. He exhales and decides to take a risk, "I can take them..." he admits almost painfully.

The principle merely stares at Haruka like he signed his own death warrant, while the other man looks shocked. "Alright.. I suppose that will work, even though you do not know what your getting yourself into Mr. Takeuchi." The principle gives a slight shake of his head as he looks back to the two young men. "This is your last chance you two. You both will have detention with Mr. Takeuchi, until you graduate or until you screw up again. Now get out of my office."

Ryuu snorts and raises his hand as if to flip the principle off, but Kasuki grabs his friend's fist and tugs him from the room. "Aww, c'mon Kasu, this is a load of shit and you know it! They are just going to be looking for any reason to kick us out."

"Like they already haven't been?" Kasuki responds, as the two friends head down the hall to their last class of the day. "Maybe you should just chill out for awhile, and quite sleeping with other guy's girlfriends. We only have one semester to go until we can graduate." He glanced at his friend out of the corner of his eyes, only to see Ryuu scowl.

"Yeah, whatever. I'll see you in detention." Kasu shrugged, and the two friends seperated; each heading to their appropiate classes. Unfortunately, it wasn't long after that the bell rang, and students began filling the hallways once more. Only this time there was no fighting, as Kasuki slowly made his way to Haruka's classroom once more.

Haruka sighs, sometimes he wished that he wasn't so willing to help situations, this was only going to add to the stress of being a new teacher. He would deal with it though just like everything else with enthusiasm these kids must have some hidden talent they are fritting away.

He spends the rest of the day planning for his lessons tomorrow, so when the students arrive his desk is filled to the brim with papers and books, he is in particular reciting some poetry as he paces across the room, he's testing it out to see if its worthy to have the class discuss tomorrow. Haruka's voice is at near perfection as he speaks rhythmically not paying attention to the time and the fact that the students will arrive any second.

Our life in this world -

Its like an echo

and off into the empty sky.

Kasuki was the first to arrive at Haruka's classroom, but that was no surprise. Ryuu was always late to everything. His professor seemed to be absorbed with reciting a poem that was unfamiliar to Kasuki. He paused at the doorway, and watched as the man walked across the room. He had a pleasant voice, and Kasu found himself listening as he approached a desk and took a seat. It seemed like he hadn't been noticed yet, so he continued to watch Haruka as he finished the poem. "What's it called?" He suddenly asked, lounging in his chair as he faced Haruka.

Haruka is startled by the words that suddenly filled his room, turning he finds one of the students already in his chair. The teacher suddenly becomes a little flustered at being caught whilst he was practicing, he sighs wondering what the student could care about, especially since he was here for detention.

"It doesn't have a title... its written by a monk named Ryokan." Haruka answers politely answering the boy he looks him up and down for a moment, "Where is your friend?" if he remembered correctly there were two due for detention not just one.

Kasuki shrugged, and turned back to face the front of the room. "Late, as always." He answered, just before Ryuu came trudging in through the doorway. He wore a smirk on his face as he took the seat next to Kasu.

"Har, har. I'm not always late." His friend had a backpack slung over his shoulder, and he let it fall to the floor as he settled into his seat. "Now let's get this over with, I got places to be."

Kasuki shook his head in disbelief. "Like where? You're not meeting up with her again are you? You're just going to cause us more problems.." He observed. It seemed like the two friends had easily forgotten about Haruka, as they continued to banter casually.

Haruka grew tired of their banter quickly, they wouldn't get anything done with their punishment if they were in the same room. "Would you two be quiet for a second." he says rubbing his forehead in thought. He thinks back to what the other teachers had tried, simply making them sit in a room silently isn't going to work.

"Ryuu come with me, I have a job for you to do." he motions for the boy to follow him, "Kasuki there's supplies to lean off the board next to my desk, I expect to find you cleaning it when I come back." Haruka looks to the boy sharply, with Ryuu not being in the room the one who cared less about learning, perhaps he could do his work with Kasuki but that wouldn't happen with Ryuu as a bad influence in his ear.

The two look at eachother with raised brows. Ryuu smirked at his friend as if to say, 'oh really?', but Kasuki merely shrugged in response. "Better do as your told Ryuu." He teased, watching as his friend stands, and gives him the finger. Kasu chuckles, before waving his friend off and standing as well. For now it appears that the two were willing to play along.

Haruka is at least pleased that the boy is going along with what he had asked, as he leads him down the hallway, once they reach the janitors office he looks kindly to the man. "Sir, I have a second hand for you today, he will be here for at least two hours." The janitor has look a surprise but it is obvious that he's happy to get some help and he grins as he thinks of some jobs he'd rather not tend to.

"You will be in his care for the rest of your detention today, behave would you?" he shoots an accusatory look to Ryuu. Once he is settled with the janitor he turns back on his heel hoping that the other Kasuki had at least done something while he was gone.

Kasuki watched as the two left the room, before walking over to Haruka's desk. He took a seat in the man's chair and looked around his desk. There wasn't anything personal around, which was no surprise seeing as this was only the professor's first day. He was careful not to touch anything, just merely snooping around before finally moving over to the supplies.

Kasuki took his time with his assignment. He sat cleaning, and wondering what chore Haruka had come up with for Ryuu. When his professor returned, Kasuki had most of it done.

Haruka returns to find the boy cleaning the board, he smiles lightly, it turns out they aren't so irresponsible after all, well... at least Kasuki was. "Almost finished?" he asks sticking his hands in his pockets as he leans against his desk.

Kasuki tilts his head to look at the professor with a raised brow, before turning back and quickly finishing his work. When he was done, Kasu stepped back and brushed himself off; his pale brown hair falling into his face. He blows out a sigh and brushes his hair back, as he turns to face Haruka. "So now what?" He inquires, looking at the man curiously. He had to admit that Haruka wasn't like the other teachers he was use to.
