Alyssa woke up and sighed. Another day of school, Another day of relentless torture. She hated it so much. She loved learning. She just hated the other kids. they made fun of her so bad and it hurt her real bad. She was a nice person and when other people were mean to her it really hurt. She hoped that perhaps a few of the more ruthless ones would take the day off of school. She got up and dressed real fast. Her parents as usual had already left. SHe fetched an apple and made her way to school. She walked onto the playground and looked around. So far so good. She walked inside and went to the library. SHe would read until first class started.

( -gasp- I know right<3?)


Ryuu yawned as he walked to school.He could care less if he was late or early.The teachers would usually just yell at him if he was late,and as for education.. they never dare give him less than a passing grade since he's the star player of the basketball and football teams.Though Ryuu was actually quite intelligent;He never revealed it.
Today, Ryuu was quite early,so he went towards the library. Ryuu figured he could avoid some screaming girls if he was in there until his first class started.Ryuu walked into the library,and he spotted a girl reading.He stopped and scanned her appearance..she looked quite familiar,and then it hit him. He had seen this girl get bullied by his friends and some other kids,although he never really paid attention to such things.He shook his head and walked out. " I'll just wait in my first class.. I guess." He said silently to himself as he walked down the hallway.




(Ima change his status in school a bit, Like He's like a jock but a popular guy, He doesn't show much emotion and doesn't open up to people.Which is why girls adore him for his cool and athletic appearance?etc <:.)

Soon enough the bell rang for class. Alyssa got up and headed to English. She sat down in her desk and looked around. How strange. She did not expect the biggest jock of school to be here. It was very odd she assumed. She sighed and turned back towards the front of the class. She would be patient while she waited. The teacher soon stepped up to the front and the other kids piled in. The teacher turned down the lights and on the projector. Then she started teaching their class. Alyssa ignored the whispers about her. She could hear her name being spoke. She sighed. Some kids needed to grow up.

Ryuu sighed as class began to start. The girl he had saw earlier was here, though he didn't pay much attention to her.Soon the teacher started teaching and Ryuu looked out the window. The view seemed more interesting than class,Not soon after he began to daydream."Ryuu!", Ryuu snapped out from his daydream and turned his head. The teacher stood right beside him, shooting him daggers. She pointed at the door, He knew what was coming. Ryuu would have to stand out in the hall untill class ended, then have a talk with the teacher. Ryuu sighed "Yes Maa'm" He said while getting up and walking out.

Alyssa watched curiously. She never realized how easy it was for some people to get in trouble. She sighed. She wondered what his punishment would be. Who cares. She knew that she did good in school and thats all that mattered. She took more notes as the teacher talked. She heard the bell ring and gathering her stuff stood up. As she did she dropped a book on the floor and everyone pointed and laughed at her. The teacher rushed to help her.
"Alyssa would you like to stay after school and help me grade papers?"
She grinned.
"I would love to."
She walked out of the class and to the library. Next class started in about ten minutes.

The bell rang and Ryuu sighed. The students fled the classroom with many expressions, boredom, excitement, dread, fear, sadness.. Ryuu was leaning against the wall when the teacher called him in. Ryuu walked up to her desk with a blank expression. "Ryuu, I know your the star player and all, but i can not keep excusing you any longer...from now on as a punishment for your not paying attention in class, and your lack of effort." She paused," As punishment you will clean my classroom and do any other work i assign you after school until I see that your behavior in class has improved." She said with such a serious face. Ryuu sighed " Yes Ma'am.." he replied. Soon after, Ryuu walked out to his next class." Just great.." He thought.

The librarian walked up to ALyssa and smiled at her handing her a flier.
"You can try for this club. All you have to do love is help at least ten different teachers throughout the year. You will get a scholarship and everything."
Alyssa took the flier with a grin. SHe walked back to her last class and tapped the teacher on the shoulder.
"Would you like help after school?"

The teacher smiled.
"From you Alyssa I would love help."
Alyssa hugged her and ran to her next class.

Ryuu sighed as he entered the classroom, because of that lecture he was late and he had to help another teacher after school. " Just great.." He thought. He took his seat and before he knew it the bell rang.
The only class Ryuu actually like was his homeroom, but that class wasn't coming anytime soon.Ryuu jammed his hands into his pockets and headed for the door, and bumped into a girl. Ryuu looked at her," Huh.. she was the one i saw this morning"He thought.

Alyssa felt a bump and fell forward onto her hands. She kept her head down as she tried to stand up. She stood up and looked at the person who bumped her. She felt a slight blush rise in her cheeks when she saw who it was. Thinking it was better to be quiet she said nothing. She started picking up her things from the floor.

"I'm Sorry.." Ryuu said softly and helped her pick up her things and handed them to her. "Huh.." Ryuu thought as he looked at her. " He dug around his pocket and grabbed a small towel. Ryuu handed her the towel," Here, your face looks kinda red..Cool it down"Ryuu said lazily and began walking away. Ryuu wasn't a bad person, but nor did he really care for people.

She stuttered a thank you and wiped her face. She stood up and ran to catch up with him holding the towel out for him.
"I.......am sorry to bother you but you f-f-forgot your towel."
She handed it to him and then took off towards the library as fast as she could. She was hoping he would not follow her. It made her uncomfortable to be around people like that. He was way outside her area to try to be friends with him.

" Ah Yeah.." he managed to say before she ran off. " Weird girl.." Ryuu thought as he proceeded forward, but Ryuu had an urge to follow her. He shrugged it off and went to his next class." one more class then it's homeroom.."Ryuu thought. Oh How he loved his homeroom class, most of his friends were there, and it was quite cheerful and fun.

Alyssa liked study hall. It was her favorite class and she really liked sitting in the library and reading a book. She finished it rather quickly and sighing she went to homeroom. The one class she absolutly hated. All the popular kids were in her class and she was teased relentlessly for it. She absolutly hated being around these kids. She made sure she got to class early and sat as close to the back of the room as possible and in a corner so no one would notice her hopefully.

"AH YES HOMEROOM!" Ryuu thought. As soon as class ended he raced to his homeroom class,though got a few chases from some girls he made it. Ryuu opened the door and the classroom was empty." Huh, guess I came too early" Ryuu thought with a slight pout on his face. Ryuu entered while stretching his arms behind him; He turned his head and spotted a girl way back in the corner. " Seriously? her again?" Ryuu thought as he stared. "Hey" Ryuu called out.

Alyssa looked up hearing a voice and frowned when she saw the boy from earlier. She blushed a deep crimson and dropped her head. She was not wanting to be noticed by anyone. If his freinds saw him he would be in trouble. She lifted her head and opened her mouth slowly.
"Hello."

Ryuu smiled. "Ah so that's how you sound like." Ryuu commented; He walked towards her and sat in the seat right in front of hers. Ryuu thought it would be better if he'd try to start a conversation. Ryuu extended his hand out, " I'm Ryuu." he said grinning. " At least shes not one of those fan girls.." Ryuu thought

She looked at the hand a full five seconds before offering up her own.
"Alyssa. Will not your friends be upset if they see you talking to me?"
She kept her eyes off of his face. One time she managed to lift it up to look in his eyes but immediatly blushed and looked back down. She did not know why she was so afraid but this boy made her feel different.

"Hm Why would they be?" Ryuu asked. " Whoever I choose to talk to is my choice." Ryuu explained while slightly looking away. "That's right.. my friends pick on people." He thought. Ryuu noticed her being slightly shy..or was it fear? He patted her head, "No need to be afraid" Ryuu said in a gentle tone. This was a side of Ryuu that only a few people have seen, so why was he showing it to this girl?

She looked up at him a moment. He seemed nice enough. She wondered why he chose to hang out with such awful friends. She smiled at him.
"I apologize. I worry a lot. It seems that you are not quite as I thought."
She frowned looking back down at her desk. She found it odd that he hung out with so many mean people but he was a nice person.

Ryuu smiled slightly amused. " What exactly did you think I was?" Ryuu asked. "..and no need to apologize, it's alright" he added. Everyone usually thought he's emotionless, or that he was just silent. It annoyed Ryuu, they didn't even know him and they make stuff up.

She managed a small smile.
"Well I always assumed you were like them."
She pointed at the kids shuffling into class. A girl walked up to them with a frown and her hands on her hips.
"Ryuu who is that and why are you talking to it? Do not forget we have to get together today after school and practice our french lessons."
She sat down next to him and grabbed his hand in hers.

"She is not an it, she is Alyssa." Ryuu said slightly annoyed and pulled his hand away. " and I have some cleaning duties after school."Ryuu added still slightly annoyed. Now Ryuu knew why Alyssa thought that; He didn't really like this girl anyways, he was just trying to be nice.
Ryuu sighed, " I'll talk to you later Alyssa" Ryuu said smiling while patting her head again. Ryuu then joined his other friends.

Alyssa smiled when he defended her blushing a bit. She sighed when he moved away to be with his friends. No big deal. She tried to convince herself of this at least. But it did not stop her from feeling slightly upset. She sighed as class began. All throughout the class she could not keep her eyes off of Ryuu. It was very strange. She lept up when class ended. She ran out before anyone else even finished standing up. She made her way to her first class going to help her teacher. That would keep her mind off of everything else and she knew it. As she walked down the halls suddenly a group of boys grabbed her with a grin. They picked her up and shoved her against the wall. She tried to fend them off but they grabbed her books and began scattering the pages along the hall. She screamed trying to get her books back. No teachers were here to help her right now.
