A long time ago there was a large castle that over looked a small village. Inside the castle lived a princess whose mother had died after the princess's birth and the father who was slowly dieing himself. The girl had to marry to get the throne..which wasn't a problem because she was in love with the boy that played the piano for her and made songs everyday. But the boy was sent of to war and never returned. The princesses father died, and the sky grew dark. Leaving no one but the 17 year old princess to become queen on her own. Soon when it came to a point where the villagers were revolting that they didn't have a king they started spreading the word that the princess would allow 5 men from each village to come to the kingdom to try to win her heart. She knew none of them would be the one..The princess tried to be as kind as possible but always had doubt. So instead of staying in the castle, she ran. She ran away to try to live a normal life without royalty. The villagers were automatically told to find her. Who knows, Maybe she will find love or death on her journey.Maybe you will be the next Piano Player.

Scarlett wandered through out the woods with a brown sack on her back to carry all her clothes. She was wearing man clothes to hide her figure so others would think that she was a man instead of seeing that she was a woman. Her face had been drawn and put up all over the village, so she had to stay hidden. She was wearing a large straw hat to hide her face, a long sleeved white button up shirt and then baggy brown pants. Under her men clothes she was wearing a simple female peasant dress since earlier she had just slipped on the men's clothes to escape the castle. She looked around and frowned to herself.

It was getting dark and she had no where to go. She sat under a large oak tree and laid her head against the trunk, sighing to herself. "Oh where to go Scarlett, where to go..?" She mumbled to herself, looking through her pack for her flint, wood, and hay to make a fire.


Drake was walking threw the forest with his bow and arrow slung over his shoulder. He had recently just shot down a duck flying over ahead and was on his way to get back to his home so his mother could cook it for all his younger brothers and sisters. He stopped in his tracks when he noticed a man sitting under a tree. He made his way over. "Um.. are you lost?" He asked, sitting down by him. The man had been looking through a pack when all of a sudden his hat fell off to reveal the beautiful face of the princess. He gasped and jumped to his feet until she begged him not to tell a soul. "Okay Scarlett, I promise I will not tell. And I will stay here with you to help you get to the place you desire, you are my highness after all so it'd be an honor to help you." He said with a small smile, making a fire and starting to fix his duck.

Dante sat on his throne. He had nothing to do. Sometimes being the prince was boring. He looked at Lessa his slave girl. She was so obedient. She was quite beutiful and truthfully he was quite taken with her. But he was so sad. He just wanted to find this princess that was supposably wandering around on her own. It made him sad that she was gone. After all royalty didnt belong out there will commoners. Dante did so love to flirt around with princesses. They made him happy. He enjoyed to flirt although everyone knew Lessa was a dream come true but she was a commoner. No pure blood at all. He needed a princess and he needed one badly.

Lessa sighed. She was tired and bored. She looked up at her master with a frown. She wanted to go back to the woods and live with her wolves but he wouldnt let her. He had caught her and to make sure she couldnt leave she wore this magic collar. She hated it. He had tried more than once to woo her but she was in love with someone else and she would not be happy till she got back to her love. She sighed and stood up going out the door. SHe would go out into the nearby woods and see if there was anything good to eat around there. She loved to hunt her own pray. Funnest part of being a werewolf.

Scarlett smiled to the boy. "Your very kind for not turning me in. Would you mind telling me what kingdom i'm in?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. She knew she was no longer in her own kingdom since none of these surroundings were familiar to her. She ran a hand threw her greenish blue hair and looked towards the fire, her teal eyes shimmering in the light.

Drake smirked. "Your in Prince Dante's kingdom. He's not the nicest man in the world.. but I suppose he's fair. He doesn't have a queen yet even though he's in his thirties, but none of the villagers complain because he'd probably kill them." He said, chuckling a little. He took a bite of his duck leg and handed Scarlett one. "I know it doesn't look to appetizing but i'm sure you'll like it.."

Lessa hopped through the woods. She smelt meat and ran after the smell. She could not be in wolf form right now but even in human form she was very fast. She made it to the smell quite quickly and she jumped out of the bushes. She saw two people. A guy and a girl. "Hi there. I smell meat." She sniffed the air. "Duck. O it smells so good can I join you?" Lessa was malnourished this was true. She had not eaten very much as of late because Dantes punishment for her right now was to keep food from her. Until she consented to have sex with him he would starve her and she had to hunt her own food. "The names Lessa. I am a werewolf. I am a slave for prince Dante. He has decided having a werewolf as a pet would be fun." She rolled her eyes.

Scarlett smiled when the girl did not notice who she was. "Yes you may join us, is this Dante man really a mean guy? He kinda sounds like it.." She said, watching as everything turned dark around them so that the fire was the only light. "What time do you have to get back to him?" She asked softly, running a hand through her hair as she took a bite of her duck leg, then handed Lessa a piece of the breast. "Mmm, this is very nice Drake." She said, smiling and taking another bite.

Drake smiled as the pretty girl appeared and asked to join them. He nodded vigorously before taking another bite of his leg. "Doesn't Dante track you if your gone for too long? I know one of the last women that tried to get out of his grasp was tracked through out the whole town and then we never saw her again once he found her.."

Lessa frowned. "This collar keeps track of me for him. If I leave the palace grounds for longer than twenty minutes then I get really badly shocked. I know from experience." She turned at Scarlet and smiled at her. "No its not as bad as it seems. He is nice to you if you do everything he tells you. If you do not then.......he punishes you." Lessa had had enough of her punishment but she refused to submit. She looked at the sun. "I kinda have to get back. Its getting close to 20 minutes. Thank you for giving me some of your meal." She took off at a run and right when the first sparks started to hurt her she made it to the palace grounds.

Drake frowned. "Can't we do anything to help her?" He asked Scarlett, standing up and putting out the fire. When she stood up as well he smiled and started to pack up all their things before throwing his hunting pack on his back and then starting to follow the direction Lessa went. He ran a hand threw his blue hair and looked to Scarlett. His eyes were blue, hers were green. They probably looked very odd since many people in this kingdom didn't have different colored hair. Originally Drake and his family had lived in Nia Ionia where everyone's hair was multiple colors since their hair color was usually based on their elements. Nia Ionia was a kingdom created only for elemental's so they can be save from hunters and humans wishing to kill them. But he had to move here because he was caught stealing bread for his family so the king banished him, and his family.

Scarlett nodded. "I suppose we could go to his kingdom and get her.. though i'd have no clue how to do that." She said, looking to the ground. "I could offer him an amount of money to buy her from him but if he cares for her then it'd be very hard." She said, biting her lip. That's when Drake looked towards her body that was being covered by the men clothes. "No! I will not use my looks to save some girl you've gone gaga over.." She said, sighing slightly as he pleaded with her. She glared and striped of the men clothes to reveal a form fitting peasant dress that went to her ankles and was long sleeved. She stuffed the men clothes in her pack and headed to the castle with him. When they arrived she stared at it in awe. "Its beautiful." She said, starting to make her way over to the palace door and making a small knock on it while Drake looked around for Lessa.

A guard approached the castle door and opened it. "Can you be helped miss?" He was a bored guard and this lovely girl took his boredom away for a moment. At least she was nice to look at even though he could not allow her to enter the palace grounds. It would be wrong to do such. To allow a peasant in when King Dante had enough on his mind.

Lessa had run home and went into the palace. She went up to Dante to assure him she was still here and then went back outside. She ran around chasing the butterflys that inhabited Dantes garden. He grew flowers for just that purpose. He wanted her to be somewhat happy with him. He may keep her as a pet but he was not an extrordinarily cruel person.

"Yes I can, I was sent here from Liona Kingdom not to far from here. She wanted to send Prince Dante a gift after hearing of his recent success." She said, not exactly knowing this success.. but she hoped her story worked. She twirled her finger around a strand of her hair and fluttered her eye lashes at the guard. "This is one of Leona's prized guards that she sent with me to escort me through out this strange kingdom. We were ordered to dress as peasants so no one would try and rob us." She said softly, her eyes going to his.

The guard sighed. "Very well come in and I will alert King Dante to your presence." He marched inside and motioned for them to wait in the foyer. He went up to Dante "THeres people to see you sire. Something about a present for your recent sucess." At Dantes orders teh guard went back to them. "He will see you in his throne room." He led the way to an elaborate throne room decked out in gold everywere. Dante did so love gold.

Dante nodded and waved to the guard to bring them in. When he saw the people enter he looked at them a moment. "What is it you people want? I am trying to teach my new pet to behave." He whistled.

Lessa heard a whistle and sighed heading to the palace. She entered the throne room and sat down on a pillow designated for her with her name even embroidered on it. When she saw the people she met in the woods she frowned at them and gave them a sideways glance.

Drake froze up on what to say so he pushed Scarlett forward. "Queen Leona wanted me to bring you this servant as a present to your recent success. If you do not like her I can take her back, though i'd need a place to stay for the night if you'll have me." He said, bowing to Dante. He knew Scarlett would be pissed at him but it bought them time to try and get Lessa. He felt very bad for her. In his old kingdom and woman was to be put on a pedastal and never ever did you punish them. Thus, he had to help her.

Scarlett fell to her knees at the sudden push and glared back at Drake, then gave a small nod as she looked at Prince Dante. She shivered a little. He had a very scary demeanor that made her feel as if she really was a peasant. She instantly felt bad for this Lessa girl and stood back up, dusting off her dress.

Dante looked at the girl thoughtfully. "I guess she will do. Guard take her to the cage with the others." He then looked at the boy and sighed. "Fine you can stay but stay in your room and do not bother me. Lessa darling escort him and then come right back here."

Lessa growled under her breath grabbing him by his shirt and pulling him up the stairs. When they were out of earshot she pushed him up against a wall. "What are you doing here? If Dante finds out who you are he will kill you." She continued to walk mumbling about how stupid boys were.

The guard grabbed Scarlett and tossed her over his shoulder and led her to a cage in the back of the palace. It was a hut with barred doors and windows and he tossed her inside locking her in. "Your lucky The king has no other slaves right now so you get the hut to yourself." He took off back to the throne room.

"Because, if a woman in my old kingdom was treated the way you were being treated now the man would be hanging as everyone threw vegetables at him."He said, slightly annoyed. "But if you do not want our help then I suppose I should grab Scarlett and go.." He muttered, clenching his fists a little. "I'm sorry but I cannot let a woman be treated that way, I wasn't raised to just act as if i've seen nothing. " He said, looking to the floor.

Scarlett sighed and sat down in the hut on the floor. "Oh Scarlett, what have you gotten yourself into? And all to save a slave girl for a boy you've just met." She said, looking at the ground, kicking the nearest thing she saw. She looked out one of the barred windows in the direction of her kingdom and frowned. "Gale, I'm sorry but it seems i'll be missing your funeral.."

Lessa stopped by a door and opened it. "I am sorry if I sounded mean. Dante is not a bad person just used to getting anything he wishes for. Eventually he will tire of me and I shall be free. I am just waiting for that to occur. Either that or he will kill me. I appreciate you risking your life to rescue me. I will be back soon." She closed the door and went downstairs. She sat on her pillow for a while till she was bored. "I am going to bed." She stood up and went up the stairs. SHe went into Drakes room and looked at him. "Well I am Lessa. What is your name cuz if you told me I dont remember."

"I will be up soon Lessa. You know where you sleep." Dante yelled at her. He was so bored right now. He would go to bed soon as it was getting towards nightfall.

"My name is Drake Hawthorne, it's nice to meet you Lessa." He said with a small smile. He sat his pack by his bed and looked towards Lessa. "I just hate how he treats you as if your a possession. It's wrong to treat a woman that way.." He mumbled, putting his hands on his knees as he looked at her. He had been sitting on his bed when she walked in.

Lessa sat down next to him and smiled "I am glad some people still have moral values. I did not mean any harm by yelling at you I am just frustrated with everything right now. Werewolves have to eat and he does not feed me because I will not have sex with him. Also you might want to get your friend out of here soon because she will be next on his list."

"I will get her once Dante retires to bed, I'm sure he will not call upon her tonight. And if he does then I will get her once he actually does go to sleep. She's a very strong girl, she can handle anything that comes her way." He said softly, then gave a small smile to Lessa. "i will make sure you get food, just do not submit to him. He's unworthy of a beautiful woman." He said softly.

She blushed softly. "I am not that pretty I assure you. Do not underestimate him. When he is angry he gets what he wants. Just take your friend and go before he does somthing awful to you. Tonight I will keep him occupied while you sneak out." She handed him a key. "This will open the hut in the back where she is locked. Be careful." She gave him a soft kiss and then went to Dantes room and lay down at the end of his bed.

Now that she had kissed him he was deffinetly not going to leave. He stuck the key in his pocket to get Scarlett in the morning and laid back on his bed. He would get her in the morning in hopes that he could find a way to get Lessa out as well. He sighed to himself and closed his eyes, letting himself fall into a deep sleep.

Scarlett sighed to herself. She was getting very bored in this hut and hoped Drake would come and get her before morning.. though that probably wasn't his plan. She looked out the window of the hut to Prince Dante's kingdom to see if anyone was coming.

Dante went up to his bed and laid down kicking Lessa at the bottom of teh bed. "You can sleep with me you know." He chuckled at her obstinance. "Lessa my dearest life would be better if you just submitted. I swear if you do not consent tonight I will just take what I want from you by force."


Lessa growled and turned the other direction. "Not on your life Dante."

Scarlett refused to sleep, especially in a slave hut. She wondered if she could get the attention of the guard and have him let her out. She smirked a little. "Oww!" She yelled, falling to the ground and acting as if she had hurt her ankle. She moaned and groaned, trying to get someones attention.

The guard ignored her cries. "I am not coming in there girly you are on your own. I am sure Dante will be wanting you in a moment once his pet gets him mad."

Scarlett looked at him puzzled. "And what exactly would be Dante wanting me for?" She asked, wide eyed. She then ignored it. "But please come and look at my ankle.. it hurts very bad.." She called to the guards, groaning to act as if she was in a lot of pain.
