Sezumie:

Dustin watched his charge carefully, and wished not for the first time that he could show himself to her. That was only possible during very rare circumstances though. The consequences could be dire.

The angel sat on a chair in her room, watching her. If she decided to change, he left the room, if she listened to music he would wince or sing along depending on what she chose. Dark eyes followed her protectively, while his blond hair fell past his shoulders only to be tied back with a black ribbon. Dustin's white wings rustled a little with his every movement as he tried to predict what things might upset his charge.

Her riotous hair fell all around her head as she lay down on her bed. Above her, Loren held a book which she studied critically. It was full with pictures that she admired. A camera hung on her door, while other equipment lay around the room in disarray. The brunette wasn't the best at keeping things tidy.

Abruptly Loren stood, and shuffled trough some of her papers. There was a job in there that she thought might be a break trough for her career as a photographer. A modeling agency was offering new people a chance to make their model's portfolios. It was an amazing chance for someone fresh out of college.

The door creaked open a bit, before slamming open. At the door, revealed a girl, no older than 18, with pixie short, messy black hair, and piercing blue eyes. This girl was Ace Kardigan, she wore a gray furry jacket with bunny ears on the hood, a blue jean skirt with blue shorts underneath, with grey argyle socks and sneakers with skulls on them. Ace was your typical punk, gothic girl. She was a bit descriptive at times when it came to gory scenes. Scary things and the occult interested her very much. But, Ace was also interested in medicine, and aspired to be a doctor someday. She was nicknamed "Bloodii" and for more scary reasons, and to her, it made her feel more feminine, since she looked more like a guy. She even acted like one, being a very strong-headed, violent girl who knew how to defend herself quite well.

Her hood came off, and she slowly walked into the room. Usually she would be quick about it, but today was different, she was dragging a body along with her, a man, who looked much older than Ace in many ways. She put him on her bed, looking at the man, even though the hood clearly hid his face from vision.

"You don't mind him do you Loren? Of course not." She said, answering her own question,"He'll be out here before you know it." She mumbled, taking out her first aid kit. She started to take off the man's sweater, Luckily, he was wearing a t-shirt, so she could get his wounds more easily. Taking some tweezers, she proceeded to take out some of the glass from the cuts.

"I suggest not looking Loren."

The man, who seemed unconscious, was actually a fallen angel. Angels who are punished by god get their wings removed, and fall to Earth. It's a pretty harsh fall. So they do get injured. The good thing is, they don't die from it, so he would heal, and be able to get back up on his feet, just at the regular human pace. Groaning, his eyes fluttered open, revealing red, hazy, eyes. He was tired, hungry, and wondering where the hell he was. His name was Marcus Frago, he had white hair, for he was albino, and red eyes, which could stare into your soul. He slowly sat up, before grunting at the sudden pain in his arm, his eyes focused in on a girl taking the glass off of his wound. He turned his head to see another girl, and she seemed horribly familiar.

Shaking his head, he noticed a man sitting on a chair, seeing as the other girl didn't notice him, it confirmed to him that the blonde was indeed an angel.

[meh, the best i can do for now....]

( O I love it! )

Loren watched as her friend dragged the man into her room without comment. The young woman put away her papers and quickly put some water to boil. She was used to Ace bringing in strays, though this one was worse then most. Returning to her room she brought a bowl of warm water with her, and a cloth. Carefully Loren cleaned the wounds after her friend took out the glass. "How did you manage to do this to yourself?"wondered the young woman aloud.

Turning her eyes to the turned her eyes to her friend, and pointedly stared at the blood that had managed to cover her bed. "You owe me a new blanket, remember you promised last time..." Loren smiled at the white haired man with the strange eyes to show that she was still paying attention to him. There was no way the young woman was going to start an argument in front of someone who was hurt.

Before he knew it, Dustin was on his feet and pushing Loren away from the man. He placed himself between his charge and the fallen angel with a dangerous look in his eyes. "Stay away from her, you understand? "It was all wrong, now he was visible and in the most horrible of situations. He could feel the eyes of the two girls on him, and knew that Loren at least was marveling at his presence and probably wanting to take pictures of him.

The fallen angel, he hoped it wasn't the one he thought it was. A danger, greater then many had been brought to his kind girl by her well meaning friend. Life wasn't fair sometimes. Flapping his wings in his agitation he began pacing the small room while muttering to himself and trying to figure out what to do.

Ace was in the least bit surprised, normally, she would call the cops, but she was busy with the other man at the moment, so she really didn't care at the moment. After she had gotten all of the glass removed, Ace wiped the blood from her tweezers and hands, before answering her friend's question. "I have my ways," She had replied, nodding and then, turning to the man who had suddenly appeared, and was now pacing the room. Her eyes narrowed, she took a metal bat that was under her bed, before opening her mouth.

"Who the hell are you, and why are you here?" Cold venom seeped through her voice, so harsh it made the white-haired man shiver at the bitterness.

Now, she was in defense mode, all those lessons she took weren't for nothing, but the bat does help. "I'll give you 5 seconds to answer, unless, you have something to say Loren?" The black-haired demonic girl looked at Loren, her blue eyes gleaming with the intent on kicking the blonde guys ass.

"Or maybe you know something, whoever you are." She said, not even looking at the man behind her, and yet it still creeped him out.

Marcus looked at Dustin, surprised, and he spoke,"Smooth...." He said in a husky, yet innocent voice, that was laced in sarcasm. He leaned back on the bed,"Well, no use keeping it secret now is it?" His wings emerged, but they were torn, and black, and dried blood coated it thinly. Sighing, he looked at the two oddly,"I'm a fallen, he's an angel, simple as that." He yawned, already bored of the conversation.

"My name is Marcus, and since it looks as if my wounds won't heal for a while and the fact that that man there," Marcus pointed to the pacing Dustin,"Still has his wings, we'll just hang out here for a while." The white-haired, red eyed albino man took a nearby book and started reading, unaware that Ace was actually freaking out a bit.

Loren's mouth dropped open at the sight of not one, but two angels in her room. She was sure she was dreaming or something. This was not possibly happening. Slowly she stood and approached Marcus, avoiding the blond man that somehow she knew was there to protect her. She felt safe with him there. Loren sat on the edge of her bed, carefully avoiding the man's wings. "So, why did you fall? " The brunette was certain her friend was wondering the same thing too.

Stopping in his tracks, Dustin raised an eyebrow at Ace. "Bloodi, I would put that down if I were you. I am Loren's guardian angel, Dustin. And he..." Dustin trailed off at the sight of his charge sitting beside the fallen one. There was no way that his crazy thought could be true. It was certainly coincidence that had brought Marcus there. But Dustin knew there was no such thing.

[No prob!~ I'm kind of brain dead myself~~]

Unfortunately, Ace's stance didn't falter,"Like hell I will, give me some answers or I'll kick your ass!" She sent death glares towards Dustin, but she slowly put her bat down. But, she wanted answers, and she wanted them now. Crossing her arms, she looked at Dustin oddly,"Well Dustin," She said, saying his name with a bit of disgust,"Why did you choose to show your pretty little face now?" With an eyebrow raised, Ace regarded Dustin's looks, surely there was some sort of catch to it all. Some kind of danger of knowing a fallen? Whatever it was, Ace thought Dustin was pretty stupid for appearing like that with no true reason of actually appearing. She and Loren thought Marcus was human for pete's sake! Even so, maybe there was something wrong with Marcus?

Marcus looked over to Loren, and gave her a smirk,"It's ironic really," He replied, sitting up,"I failed to do my duties as an angel, so I was punished, again." Chuckling, he continued,"You could say I'm a delinquent angel or such. Ah, I don't think I caught your name when your friend there said it, Loran or something?" His bangs covered his eyes, so you couldn't see the evil expression on his pale face as he spoke.

"Loren." She leaned towards him, attracted by the fallen angel for some reason she couldn't name. Without asking, she reached out to place a gentle hand on one of his wings. "I could go get something to clean them, if you would like..." Water, and a cloth would work she supposed. Hopefully he wasn't in too much pain, he didn't seem to be. Lorne didn't catch his smile, and wouldn't have acted any differently if she had.

Shrugging he smiled at her. "Because, he is a danger to my charge." His eyebrows rose, but he couldn't do anything. If he tried, Loren was going to rebel by doing everything she could to stay with Marcus. She was sitting beside him, leaning forward, in a way he knew meant she was attracted. "Ace, listen alright I'm just trying to protect your best friend. The only one who actually stood by you during everything that happened in high school" Maybe he was going too far, but there was nothing else he could do.

It was protecting Loren from the fallen angel, or becoming one of the rare angels ripped away from their charges. It didn't happen often, but it did nonetheless. He hoped that the man wouldn't do anything to her. Dustin eyed the albino warily waiting for an excuse to jump into action.

Marcus shrugged,"It's your call, but pleased to meet you Loren." He inwardly flinched at the sudden contact of his bloody wings. He never liked people touching him, even on his wings. Though the black wings didn't speak, they were a part of him, they have been through everything, since his wings were one of the only things he had left to tell him he wasn't just a human going insane, he was an angel, a fallen at worst, going insane. He shook his head, trying to clear it, before looking at Dustin,"Hnnn, Something wrong Dustin? That girl there, Ace was her name? Well, she saved me from a great pickle there."

Ace put down the bat, seemingly convinced by the wings that Dustin was indeed an angel. She sat on the bed,"Why appear now? Didn't you hear me say he was going to leave soon anyway? Stupid much?" She laughed, seeing that Loren was so very fascinated by Marcus, the black-haired vixen smirked,"Aww, Loren how cute!" She teased, getting up,"Lemme get some food, you want something?" She asked, walking into the kitchen to make, and get some food.

The young woman smiled, and left the two alone for a few moments while she gathered what was needed. In the meanwhile, she spoke with Ace as the water warmed up. "You really didn't need to say what you did. " she whispered now. "You know how hard it is for me, when I end up liking someone. So please don't make it worse." The moment the water was done she made a quick retreat back into her room, and gently began passing a cloth over the wings marveling at how very black they were. She began humming a french song that was always stuck in her head.

Taking the opportunity of being alone with Marcus, Dustin spoke his mind. "Of course something's wrong. You! Stay away from Loren, I know you've been watching her, and have been warned." He gestured violently at the man, approaching him or at least nearly doing so. Knowing Loren was returning, he retreated. Dustin could do nothing, and frustration ran trough him. If only there was something, anything, he could do in order to stop what was bound to happen.

Ace rolled her eyes,"Okay, okay, I'm sorry Loren." The black-haired girl replied, getting a few sandwiches and bringing them over. She put the food down on the bed, and almost jumped when Marcus's hand shot out and grabbed a sandwich like a ninja. Regaining composure, she turned back to Dustin,"So, what? You hungry?" She took a sandwich and held it up to the blonde angel,"Angels gotta eat also right?" A nervous smile came on her face, Ace wasn't one to talk to guys, and she already liked someone at the hospital she was working at.

Marcus ate the sandwich, but winced at the sudden contact of his wings,"Ow! Hey, careful!" He grunted, but nevertheless, stayed silent for the whole time, soothed by the unknown song Loren was singing, yet unknowing of the seemingly warning aura Dustin gave off earlier. "Whatever dude, I'll leave as soon as these cuts and my wings are healed." Turning on his side to face Loren better, he asked,"Do you have any brothers or sisters? I feel like I've seen you before."

The wing that wasn't being washed twitched, Marcus definitely met Loren somewhere before, or at least saw her.

"Sorry!" exclaimed the young woman after his exclamation. She kept cleaning his wings for a bit, then switched sides just after Marcus asked his question. "No, no siblings at all. Tough I wish I did have a sister or two!" She Loren smiled and kept cleaning his wings, and wondered why he kept asking her these questions. It wasn't like they knew each other, or that they would be spending more time together. Pausing in her ministrations, the young woman grabbed a peanut and banana sandwich. It disappeared very quickly.

He grumbled a little about the other angel. Sighing, Dustin went to sit beside Ace. Wordlessly he grabbed the offered food, and began tearing it apart daintily with his fingers. It was a habit of his from when he was a kid, he's wanted to be like his sisters. "Angels eat yes, but that doesn't mean we have the same digestive functions." They ingested the energy more then anything else, so they preferred food that was made with emotion. The emotion depended on the angel of course. The thought of his favorite emotion had Dustin grimacing, it wasn't like he was ever going to find it anywhere.

[Eh, writers block still killing me D:]

Marcus laughed,"You sure are hungry aren't you?" He mused, his wings twitched in happiness. He laid down, taking another sandwich,"None huh? You sure look familiar.." He took a bite of the food, pondering a bit. The albino's eyes flickered over to Dustin, and an evil glint appeared in his eye, before looking back at Loren, smiling,"You're very nice, I take that your friend here brings in people like me often?" There was an irony behind his sentence, since he was injured, but he was also a fallen angel, so he was probably the only one.

Ace raised her eyebrows,"Really? I never would've thought." She pondered on the new information,"So, what emotion do you ingest then?" She realized the rudeness of her question, and waved her hand dismissively,"Never mind, It's rude of me to ask," She resumed eating her sandwich absently, then looking suspiciously at the fallen angel behind her.

Loren blushed at the comment. "Yeah, I am kind of.." She didn't take another sandwich even though she was still hungry. The young woman didn't want to seem like somebody who was a glutton. Having taken care of both his wings, the young woman took the opportunity to escape the room and put away the things she had used. Only when she returned did Loren even think about commenting on Marcus's other words. "Why is it you keep saying I'm familiar? You're an angel, I can't imagine where you would have seen me before." Politely Loren didn't comment on the fact that he had fallen, quite literally. "Ace is Ace, she likes helping others and I help her out." She resisted the urge to reach out and place her hands on his dark wings, they were so incredibly soft.

A slight blush actually crept over the stoic Dustin's face. "Umm, well it's true love. The kind that lasts for eternity, where the people are always being reincarnated together." His voice was barely a whisper as he answered. The angel felt obligated to do so after scaring the young woman so. It was funny, he adored love but had never felt the kind he preferred energy wise. If he did fine someone to love, he would never let her go, no matter the consequences.

When Ace looked back over to ask Dustin another question, she almost burst out laughing. There, on the mans face, was a slight hint of a blush, Ace knew this was no fever, since he didn't seem to be breathing heavily, or coughing, so she deduced it down to a simple blush. Keeping her composure (though a few giggles escaped her lips), she spoke,"True love! Now I may not be a guy, but that is something I would usually never hear men say. Almost like Romeo and Juliet story, except you're still looking for that Juliet." She giggled,"Ah! Poor Dustin! Still looking for that one that is right for you! Cutest thing I've heard in my life. Not to worry, she's probably there, I think..."

Marcus rolled his eyes,"From sweet to vicious, you have pretty bad mood swings Loren~" He shook his head, his white hair becoming even more messy,"Nah, I don't think I did duties over in these parts." The albino shrugged, stoving out his tongue to the brown-haired girl,"Anyway, why do you live with this girl? Aren't the frequent blood stains annoying to you?" He sat up on the bed, testing out his wings a bit. He violently flinched when he heard the bones jumble around. Broken, and there wasn't a thing he could do about it, not flying or nothing until he was completely healed. He cursed, of course he had to fall on concrete.

Loren didn't look the angel in the eyes, a little ashamed of herself. "I apologize for being like that Marcus." It was disheartening to know that whatever she did seemed not to meet his approval. Loren wanted to impress the fallen, and make him like her. It was just a silly school girl crush really, but it didn't happen all that often to Loren. Glancing up, she smiled at the way he stuck his tongue out. "She's my friend. Sure it can be annoying, but it's not worth losing a friend." Loren's mind returned to her little problem, and she looked a little enviously at Ace. Now she wasn't at all afraid of saying what went on in her mind.

Dustin's head burrowed down into his shoulders at Ace's laughter. It was bad enough when other angel's laughed at him but this! It was too much. "Please stop laughing!" It came out as more of a moan then an order. Ace was making him terribly uncomfortable. All he wanted to do was hide away. Automatically Dustin's wings came up, and his him from view. All one could see where a mass of white feathers.

Ace yelped out in surprise, she didn't really expect his wings to come out, and she lost all grip on the bed she was sitting on and fell off. "Kya!" She said, and her head hit the floor,"Oww..." She mumbled, rubbing the back of her head as she got up. After checking her body for any wounds, she looked over at the mass of white feathers,"Eh? Dustin? Where'd you go?" She stared at the white ball, pondering whether it was safe to touch it. Her hand shot out and touched the wings, her eyes turned from indifference, to one of pure surprise.

"It's so soft!" She gushed, smiling, and she attempted to hug the white mass, but it was far to large, so she half embraced it,"Sorry about that Dustin, usually guys around here are like that stupid Marcus guy over there, just worse."

A vein seemed to appear on the said mans forehead, but he refrained from yelling,"Don't apologize for something as petty as that, it's tedious to try to be perfect." He nodded, and at the same time, sent death glares Ace's way,"She sure knows how to push someones buttons." He hissed. He was going to get his revenge on that vixen, oh yes, Marcus could picture it right now. Marcus chuckled to himself, some things in life were still so easy to say than do.

Loren sighed a little. Really, she had thought she had bothered him and now he was angry because of her apology! Alarmed by Marcus's words she looked up at him. Unthinkingly she placed a restraining hand on his arm. "I know she's annoying, but please don't hurt her! Please Marcus, and I didn't mean to make you angry earlier, I was just trying to get on your good side." The words tumbled out of her mouth like they always did when she was stressed. There was no telling what Loren would say next if the situation didn't calm down.

Slowly, Dustin calmed down. A shocked expression crossed his face when the girl tried to wrap her arms around his wings. Carefully, he moved the one she wasn't hugging. After that, he gently removed it and caught Ace in his arms as she fell so she wouldn't be hurt. "Careful what you say Ace, you don't have a filter on your mouth like everyone else." The angel's mouth quirked up into a smile as he regarded the young woman with his grey eyes. "Apology accepted, in case you wished to know." His hold on her was loose, so she could get up whenever she wanted to. The angel was aware of Lore's distress, and was monitoring it silently. If things calmed down without him interfering, it would be much better.

Ace seemed surprised that he actually moved one of his wings, let alone both of them, another yelp was heard when she fell into his arms, her cheeks turned slightly red, part from the fact that it was her first time so close to a man, and the other part was because she was dragging Marcus out to the house in the rain. Her cheeks turned into a full on pout as she glared at the blond man who was holding her at the moment,"Hey! For you information, I do have a filter, I just don't use it because it takes too much work."

"Your so sensitive though, what's so wrong with being a romantic?"

Marcus looked at Loren oddly, before he burst out laughing, the girl was ridiculous, to him, she was working to hard to get some sort of relationship with him, but he kind of thought she was overdoing it.

"No need to get all worked up Loren!" He said between his laughter, he had to admit, the girl had guts, and was pretty unique. He put a hand on the brown-haired womans head, and seemed to tousle it about,"Relax Loren, no need to explode ove it~" As if to prove a point, he gave her a reassuring smile, for he didn't want her to pop a vein worrying about his happiness, that would mean he would have an angry Dustin on his ass, and he really didn't want that to happen.

The angel laughed a little, and shook his head. He knew that, if only because Ace had always been well behave in front of Loren's parents. What a novel experience, to actually be having a conversation with someone. Dustin liked it very much, and he wasn't sure if it was entirely because he wasn't hiding. Perhaps it had a little bit to do with the young woman he was holding. "I know you do. I was teasing." He laughed before continuing. "Sometimes being sensitive and romantic can get you in trouble."

At first, Loren was put off by his laughter. The young woman wondered if she was so pitiful that MArcis was actually laughing at her. His words though, eased that fear. She really was being silly, and over someone she had just met too!"Your wings are feeling better now right?" She changed the subject, not wanting to really talk about her annoying way of pushing someone when she liked them. Also, Loren really did want to know if he was feeling better, even if she asked in a slightly indirect way.

"Mhm," Was her reponse, the fever was getting to her. So she got up from Dustin's arms almost awkwardly, and coughed a bit. Ace sat down on the bed yet again, looking back to Dustin,"Back on topic, have you ever tried the emotion? I mean, you must've tried it before to know what your favorite emotion is right?" She rubbed her eye, she was getting tired, very quickly. Given that she was outside dragging Marcus back to the apartment, and she was still slightly soaked from the rain, one would be very tired indeed.*

She leaned on Dustin's shoulder, fighting to keep her eyes open,"You don't mind if I nap here do you, course not...." Light snores came from her as her figure went limp with exhaustion.

Marcus looked at Loren,"As much I would love to say yes, I'm not much better, it seems that my wings are broken, and I'm not entirely sure how long they're going to take to heal." He grinned mischievously at Loren,"Looks like I'm crashing here for a while, well, if it's okay with you."

Hearing the light snores from Ace, his head snapped towards the girl who was now resting on the blond angels shoulder. Instantly, thoughts of pranking the girl came to his mind, writing on her face, the simple whipped cream trick, even taking a picture of the two and spreading around a scandalous rumor. He chuckled, before turning back to Loren,"What a weird girl your friend is, very twisted."

Dustin wasn't sure how to respond to the young woman, and was slightly glad when she fell asleep on his shoulder. Conversely, Dustin's protective nature showed itself as he began worrying about her. Quickly, the angel moved so he could place the young woman gently onto the bed behind her friend and the fallen. Placing a hand on her forehead he grimaced at the unusual warmth. Saying nothing he went to grab a towel and soaked it in cold water. The task of putting it gently on the young woman's forehead was then quickly accomplished.

Before answering Marcus, the young woman turned to her friend with a worried frown. It disappeared though when she noticed Dustin taking care of her. It was certain that everything was going to be alright now. Usually Loren was the one doing the tending of Ace, but she wasn't worried now that her guardian angel was on the job. Loren turned to the dark winged angel, and forced a smile. "Twisted or not, she's a great person and a good friend. And of course I don't mind if you stay! Why would I?" She hoped he wouldn't catch onto the fact that she was trembling enormously at the intimidating thought.

Marcus grinned,"I know Loren, just teasing you." He saw the sleeping Ace, and grinned mischievously, looking at Dustin,"Well, since that's taken care of, I've always wanted to know, Dustin, how have you been doing? Surely you weren't watching Loren every single day, a bit creeper like, but I guess that's what I'm supposed to do." He took yet another sandwich, holding it up to Loren," I haven't seen you eat more than one, you must be hungry Loren." He chuckled, the brunette was too polite for his own good, a perfect girl for any man, well, besides himself of course.

Ace didn't stir while Dustin took care of her, she was too deep in sleep to. She did stir when he put the cool towel on her forehead, mumbling something about food, but nothing more. She was obviously dreaming about competing in a contest for a all you can eat buffet, which explained the small stream of curses that came from her lips every few minutes or so. But she then went silent again, going into a more empty dream.

(Gah, I'm lazy... Oh! And I've been meaning to ask, is it okay if I draw the characters or something? I pretty bored at times, and I wanted to know if it was okay with you if I ever did get around to drawing them out~)

To say Loren was surprised by Marcus's words was an understatement. Shifting a little self consciously the young woman smoothed her hands down her jeans. Her eyes were fixed on the floor, and didn't lift an inch. "So you've been following me around? That's why you think I'm familiar." The young woman was too upset about the statement to take another bite. Fists formed involuntarily at the thought of someone following her around when they had absolutely no business doing so.

Smoothing the young woman's hair, a small smile flitted across the angel's features. Dustin's wings were spread protectively over Ace, an automatic response to her vulnerable state. It was then that he heard the words of the fallen angel and stiffened visibly. "Careful Marcus, you are stepping on very dangerous ground. What I do with my days is no business of yours." Glancing at Loren, he sent a calming nudge into her mind like he always did when she was plagued by turmoil. Dustin really could do no more then that considering the circumstances, except perhaps throw Marcus out. That though, would only make the situation worse.

Dustin tilted his head to the side a bit,"Oh, not me, I'm not your guardian angel, Dustin here is, I guess you can say I've seen people who look similar to you, but none have that cutesy personality like you do, and besides, I had my own people to look over, I'm just not as dedicated at anyone else was up there." The thought depressed him, he was constantly yelled at by the higher class because of his carelessness, and yet, he refused to care about his assigned people. Probably because his father was a fallen as well, but he really cared more for her mother. Even so, here he was yet again for another agonizingly painful years. Shaking his head he gave a half blank stare to Dustin, before smirking,"Couldn't hurt to ask hmm?"

As if the girl sensed the tense atmosphere, her eyes fluttered slightly, before opening them a tiny bit. A sigh left her lips before slowly attempting to sit up, and then noticed the towel on her forehead. She picked it off her head, and stared at it blankly, as if registering what the wet object was. She was still slightly feverish, and it wasn't good when Ace was sick. She would enter this blank, comatose state, somewhat drunken, and can be a bit demanding. Her childish levels would increase greatly if her fever would worsen. To top it off, she would demand milk and oranges from anyone.

"Dustinn~~" She cooed,"Get me milkk?~ Pleasee?" She was definitely in the feverish stage now. Her hair seemed a bit messy, and as she put one hand on Dustin's head, and the other one on her head, she gave a devilish grin,"Milkk~" she chimed, flopping onto the bed. Looking at Loren, her head cocked to the side,"Loren?~ Something happenn?"

She shook her head at the mention of him not being dedicated. "Marcus, you weren't dedicated enough because you probably didn't like it. That's what I was like before I started photography, nothing made me want to work for it until this." She smiled sweetly at him to rub in what he had said about her personality. "You only think it's cure because you haven't seen me, or heard me, when I'm angry." The young woman could have said more, but decided not to. Instead she turned to smile reassuringly at her friend. "Nothing happened, you just went out in a storm again."

Feeling a hand on his head, he looked down to stare Ace. He should have known how she would be, he'd seen her in such a state before. "Of course Ace, but I won't give it to you if you don't stay right here on this bed." His voice was soft as he spoke. Gently the angel reached out to brush hair that had stuck to her forehead, once that was done he stood. Quietly Dustin tip-toed out of the room and into the kitchen. It didn't take long for him to return with a white mug of milk and a few oranges. Sitting down again, Dustin handed the milk to Ace.
