Yeah, how does it feel to get a taste of the silver bullets from the other side?

Tears began to form behind Siona's clear dark teal eyes as she heard her friends words though she fought to hold them back. As their foreheads touched the wolven girl's eyes closed momentarily before she gently wiggled one hand free from Anier's and gently placed it on the side of his cheek. "None of this is your fault Anier, it's mine for not paying more attention to your suffering. If I had done that perhaps the situation now would be a bit different" she whispered quietly moving her gaze up to meet his. The elven boy was the only thing she felt kept her continuing existence within the hellhole that the town had become. Guilt passed through her as she recalled her own problems being talked about more then his. She knew his life was perhaps harder then hers as she recalled him stating days before that she was lucky that she at least had a roof over her head...or something similar to that.

Her gaze was surprisingly calm and gentle, rather different from her usual fiery and mischievous one that typically played, as the rest of her emotions hid. Her ears twitched again as the metallic clinking continued to move closer to their location. "There's nothing for you to apologize for. Besides we're not done yet. Right now you and I are alive and I won't let them take you away from me Anier, even if I personally have to fight off every one of them myself. Now let's see..." the light haired girl stated almost confidently though gently as she pulled her face away slight and moved to lick one of the droplets coming from the elven boy's eyes, before glancing around quickly.

From the sound of it there wasn't a lot of time to really think. From what she could gather there wasn't really anything that either one of them could hide behind exactly or fight back with, but that didn't mean there weren't useful things around. The alleyway they were in was somewhat dark though she could make out the usual bulking shapes that were either to heavy for them to move for any use or would take too long to move. Quickly and carefully her gaze began mapping out what seemed to be a path. "Do you think you can get up to that roof?" she whispered quietly and what she hoped sounded reassuringly as she pointed towards one of the roofs of the two buildings that created the alley. It was a bit of a long shot but an idea had popped up in her head, even if she wasn't completely sure it would work but it was at least something.
