Grace is a 17 year old angel who was cast aside and sent to Earth without ever being told why. She dresses like a normal teenage girl and can be seen by other humans which can sometimes cause problems but she's not afraid to hit back. A oddly-cute bunny rabbit named Jack followed her everywhere and helped the lost angel stay on the right path.

~It was sometime near sunset and Grace walked along the side walk with Jack on her shoulders in New York. She kept her large white wings hidden away someplace safe so at least she looked normal. Grace was both hungry and broke at the same time. She held her stomach to keep it quiet as she walked the sidewalk of NY, that is until she was bumped into then pinned to the wall by a drunk. Normally she would fight back but she was low on fumes.

Alex was walking down the street on his way home dlfeom work late that night. He was 18 and lived @non his own. His parents passed away a fwlew years ago now from a car crash and he was the only one that mad it out alive before the car blew up. He was exhausted from working a 10 hour shift. When he turned the corrner he saw some dude holding a girl aginst the wall. He didn't know what was going on but he knew it didn't look right. "Whats going on man?" He asked the guy. "None your business "said the guy, and instently Alex knew the man was drunk. "Hands off the girl." He added as he walked closer. When the drunk guy took a swing at Alex he ducked and retired the punch knocking the guy clean out and he laid on the floor. Alex extended a hand to the girl. "You alright?" He asked being polite.

Grace blinked a few times when she saw the boy deck the drunk and she slid down the wall to her bum. She looked at the boy and gave a light nod and gently took the boy's hand. "I'm fine, thanks." She answered quietly and turned a bright red when her stomach growled again after she stood and released the boy's hand.

Alex chuckled. "I'm Alex, and id seem like your hungry. Want to grab a bite ?" He asked with a small smile. It was nice that he was able to help someone again. He was q bit hungry as well so food sounded good to him. The girl looked cute also so that was also a poise to him.

Jack the rabbit was trying not to bounce up and down as he made little rabbit noises. Grace could understand him and brought the rabbit into her arms, that also got him to settle down. "I'm Grace.. and this little guy is Jack." She said quietly. When Alex asked if she wanted to go grab a bite she looked at him and gave a small nod. "Okay..." Grace answered quietly with a small smile.

He could seance something different with this girl but he didnl just meet her so he ignored his feeling. They started walking down the sidewalk again. There was a small restaurant just up the road that he Washington headed to. "Your a quiet one." He said joking with her. He didn't mind the company for one. "You live around here?" He asked as well, not wanting to sound pushy.

Grace followed Alex and held Jack in her arms. When he spoke up she smirked lightly at his joke. She flickered her unreadable blue eyes to gaze at him and nodded lightly. "I live in the apartment complex a few blocks back the other way." Grace answered quietly, moving her gaze to watch the sidewalk pass under their feet.

"Oh I see.. sorry for taking you the wrong way then" Alex said as he brushed a piece of his white hair from his face. She looked cute and he couldn't stop thinking that either. "I promise I won't take too much time out of your night Grace " he said slwith a small smile as they approached the builong he opened the door for her. He knew the people that ran the place so he just showed her to a seat and sat across from her.

Grace shook her head a little and smiled softly. "It's no problem, I don't have much planned when I go home." She said quietly. When the doors of the restaurant opened she blinked a couple times then followed behind Alex before she could lose sight of him. She sat in the chair across from Alex. A few people knew her and her 'New York' attitude that seemed to have slipped into hiding sometime after meeting Alex.

"Well then we will just have to have to have a nice dinner then" Alex said with a small smile. The waitress walked over. "What can I get you two?" She asked with a smile. Alex knew her and she was always the one that waited on him nomatter where he sat at or who he was with. "Ill take the usual Sam.. what mouth you want grace? " he asked looking at her. He didn't know if she had enough time to look over the whole menu.

She blushed a light shade of pink and smiled a little. Grace looked up at the waitress after closing her menu. "I'd like the Chicken Alfredo and a water please..." She said quietly, smiling lightly. Jack heard 'chicken' and looked up at Grace curiously.

"Ill be right back with the drinks thank you" Sam said with a nod and took off to the back of the kitchen. "Don't mind her.. I grew up around here and two years ago her family took me in." Alex said. He was confused onto why he was telling her his past already but there was something about her that he knew he could trust her. With a sigh his phone wrangle and he saw it was a text and ignored it for now. "So how was your day beside the drum guy part? " he asked with a smile as he looked up at her.

Grace looked back at Alex and listened to his short semi back story. She giggled barely noticeable when Alex looked confused for a moment there. When he asked about her day she thought for a minute before speaking. "Okay, I guess..." She answered as she went to gently stroke the top of Jack's head. "How about yours, Alex?" She asked with a semi-curious voice.

"Today was like any other really." Alex said as he smirked just a pilot. "Well other then knockings out a drunk guy and having dinner with a girl" he said with a chuckle as well. His day was normal, work then go home but today was special because he was with her. He harpy talked to people outside of work and the ones he saw on a daily basis. Sam walked over with their drinks and food and smiled at Alex as she turned and walked away. "Looks good, dig in" he said as he took his first bite.

Grace smiled lightly when the food arrived and the first thing she did was get a piece of chicken with her fork and gave it to Jack. ~I'll feed you something else when we get home, alright?~ She thought to her 'partner' before taking a bite of her food. "It's good." She said quietly then started to eat. Grace and Jack had a special relationship that she really didn't know how to explain herself, all she knew is they had to stay together at all costs.

Alex saw how grace was toward her little rabbit, and couldn't help it but to smile. He sat there and ate quietly and stacked his plates when he was done. "it's always good." he said with a chuckle. It was getting late and he could feel sleep trisomy to catch up with him. "we better get you home, I have an early day tomorrow." he said as he looked over at her. Tomorrow was the third anniversary of his parents, and he didn't plan on doing anything work related either. He got up and paid the bill and walked back toward his new friend. "shall I walk you home." he asked with a soft smile.

Grace finished her food as Alex went to pay the bills and looked up at him, smiling a little. "Alright." She said quietly in a sweet voice before holding the now sleeping Jack in her arms and stood to follow him. "By the sound of it you must go there a lot." Grace said as they began to walk.

"yea I do, they are about the closest thing to family as I have now." Alex said as they walked down the street again. The drunk guy seemed to be gone so that was a good thing, unless he came back witch he highly douted. "I think you for the nice evening." he said with a smile as the got closer to where he thought she was staying. "is there a chance I may see you again." he asked ceriously as his face got red, but he didn't mind. Out of everything that has happened to him, she was the happiest thing lately. He couldn't help but look over at the bunny, "lil guys wore out too" he said with a chuckle.

Grace turned a light pink and hugged her bunny. "I had a good time too, thanks." She said quietly. Grace looked at Alex and gave a light nod. "I'm sure we'll see each other around." She smiled a little. "I like you and Jack seems to like you too so someway somehow we'll see each other often." Grace giggled lightly.

Alex wasn't too sure what she meant but what she said but he was just happy he may see her again. "Well I shall say good night then" he said with a small smile. After seeing her off he started back toward his place. He could help but smile at the thought of how the night had gone. He was almost to the main door of his building and he had a sharp pain hit the back on his head and he hit the ground out cold. A long while later he came to and was tied to a chair blind folded.

"Goodnight, Alex." Grace smiled a little and went into her apartment and closed her door. Putting Jack to bed her large white wings burst from her back and she winced a little because of how quick they came out. She sat on the couch and closed her eyes to relax. "What I day..." She said quietly to herself. Right when she started to fall into a deep sleep a short vision/nightmare awoke her and she sat up quickly. Her new friend was in trouble and she new it, but where was he?

"About time you wake up.." a mane voice echoed through Alexs throbbing head. "What you want from me?" He asked a.he struggled aging the rope on his wrists. There was a foul smell of meat filling the air. "You took away my dinner.." the voice said again just before pain shot through his face. This guy wasn't letting down one bit. "One like her is rare and has a fine taste." The man added. The tome of the guys voice shot chills though his body. "What the he'll are you talking about." Alex yelled before getting hit again

Grace stood and went into her room to look for something. When she found a hand-held mirror she picked it up and stared into it. The mirror was a way to communicate with her realm or whatever you wanted to call it. "Tell me where Alex is." She said, not asking. The mirror's image changed to where Alex was being held hostage. Grace put down the mirror, let her wings retract back into her back. Leaving Jack on the bed so he could sleep she left the small building in a hurry and headed to where the Alex was.

The man chuckled as he watched his victim "with you I will get my meal back." He said as he walked out of the room and slammed the door. Alex fought at the rope until it broke and got up taking off his blindfold. It looked like an old abondoned meat locker, but he didn't know where one was so he was rather lost. He didn't want grace hurt because of him, but there was no way for him to warn her about the trap.

Grace ran hard and skid to a halt at the door of the meat-locker. ~You got me last time but this time I'll be the one to have you.~ She thought, keeping her wings in her back for the time being so she looked like a normal human girl again. Grace busted down the door and the first thing she did was kick the guy in the gut hard enough to knock him to his knees. "Haven't you heard of 'don't mess with a New Yorker' bub?" She asked before raising her leg and bringing down on the guys back. Grace was a tough cookie, big guys didn't scare this girl. She took a couple steps back so the guy couldn't grab her feet.
