Hello there, my name is Harmony and I am currently looking for a partner to role play with. I consider myself a fairly literate role player. I am interested in most genres, be it sci-fi, historical or romance. I don't mind sexual and mature themes, as long as it adds to the plot and story and isn't just fluff, or as my teacher would put it, literary diarrhea :sweat:

For previous role plays, I've made a historical pirate themed one, a futuristic post apocalyptic (quite possibly my favorite) one and a medieval fantasy based one. Here are the rough skeletons for these RPs.

Pirate: The time frame is approximately 1500. There are 3 main rival pirate crews. Piracy is deemed illegal and there will be constant clashes not only between the 3 crews, but with the government as well. The location will be in Europe.

Post apocalyptic: It is year 28XX and humans are starting to lose their ability to reproduce. Through their dependency on technology and man made resources, they're natural defenses and abilities started to weaken. Life was getting increasingly easier, which is causing humans to lose natural instinct. So at this critical moment, the government decided to exercise and idea humanity has been toying with for a while now; the perfect human. Using genetic modification, they were able to create what was supposed to be a perfect human. They first experimented by trying to develop humans inside as synthesized womb.However, due to causes that the labs could not explain, the embryos would either grow too fast a deteriorate immediately or not show progress at all. Realizing this, they rationalized that the embryo needed a more natural environment to thrive in. That's when they started using animals. Genetically modified human embryos were placed into the wombs of large animals (cows, lions ect.) to be grown. But that made something entirely different, they weren't human at all. 30XX, the humans have lost all abilities to reproduce. All they could do now was waste away as time devours them. Society is now made up of the elders (what's left of the humans), the Stillborns (the "humans" that were developed in animals), and the ones who live in the shadows. Who are they? Gotta play to figure out XD

Medieval: Just the classic, I don't have this one planned out well :/

These are just rough ideas....you can tell I've only really thought out the middle one.....But these are just suggestions, I don't mind doing anything else.

Royal randomness : Ok. We'll plot here. So I really don't have the medieval one planned out well, but I was thinking of making it completely fantasy and incorporating some or of monarchy. The idea is that there is a Monarch Branch, a Democratic branch and a military branch. The Monarchy consists of a king and his Queen (we can have mistresses if we'd like), a princess and the royal guards. There are 11 royal guards in total, each associated with a colour and an animal. Serving next to the king there will be an advisor, who will also be the king's brother, and a circle of diplomats.

Within the democratic branch is the king's diplomats and the court of elders. There will be a voting system in which the decisions can be made, but only privileged families can vote. The decisions and laws are presented to the elders by either the king's diplomats or high representation in the populous. However, the laws must also be passed though to the king and given approval. We can decide whether the court of elders or the king has more power later. The court of elders are also part of the Church at the time. Foreign relations are also regulated by the elders. They are the executive branch of the government.

the Military branch is overseen by one supreme power. That would be the "Valkyrie". She controls all decisions made my the military. There are three main branches of the military, Navy, main land and the aces. The navy and mainland are self explanatory but the aces are an elite force which serves only in extreme cases. In order to join the military, you need the Valkyrie's and the king's approval. Even though the approval of the Elders are not required, it is best to stay on their good side. The military deals with crime and people who interfere with the law, making them the judicial branch of the government.

That summarizes the basic governing system.

There are 3 main classes of people. The Nobles (ones who are able to vote and influence the Elders), the middle class (mainly merchants and accountants) and the lower class( slave labor). The Nobles oftentimes have slaves, as does the royal court and the military. To make this more fantasy like, I will include the idea of quests and fairy tale creatures.

The humans of this place, as organized as they are, are still in constant conflict with supernatural beings around them. There will be witch hunts, dragon quests, battles and wars. Here's a general idea and list of characters that can be played:

King
Princess
Queen
King's advisor
Member of the king's diplomats
Member of the Elder's court
Valkyrie (I'd like to play with one XD)
Member of the military (also called knights)
Noblemen
Foreign Merchant
Slave
Priest or any member of the church

This all sounds quite confusing actually....... But I'm sure it'll work out. Just pick any perspective you'd like and we can start writing and see where it goes from there ^^

I just thought of a completely random idea....... What if we do a mash up of fairy tales? Like a world with Little Red Riding hood, little miss muffet ect. Just an idea.

@bunny sure but your right one/one wouldn't work very well with that plot. Personally I'm not good at multi char. so you may want to make s group. As for the fairytale mash up..... That would be interesting especially if you did it like the Fables comic books

Royal randomness : Of course ^^ It seems I'm doing two separate ones though........ or do we want to combine the fairy tale mash up and the medieval fantasy? There ARE other races. Elves, Faes, mermaids (my fav XD), nymphs, ogres (my second fav), goblins and hobgoblins, witches of course but they're mainly humans with magical powers. There are dragons, centaurs and what not as well.
