First time throwing out a net, but not my first time role playing!
About Me!
I'm a 22 year old lit-advanced lit role player looking for a lit-advanced lit partner to feed my need to play. There isn't much I'm not up for, but I don't do Yaoi (I'm not good at playing male characters). I am very fond of Yuri, and Hetero is fine too. That being said -- I am open to romance, but no love-at-first-sight nonsense. Also, I'm avoiding High School RPs (because I left there years ago and feel no need to return). I check Menewsha (almost) daily and while I certainly don't expect that from my partners I don't want to be waiting weeks for a response. If you want to leave the RP please have the courtesy to tell me instead of just disappearing.

Calina was alone at the bar sipping at a mug of Moonflow Wine. The bartender had given her a look when she asked for a mug of the strong liquor, but a gold piece carelessly thrown onto the counter had squelched any objections. She looked again at the wrinkled parchment clutched in her gloved hand and thought about the job she had been hired for. It had been a tough sell -- possibly deadly, but the outcome would make her the richest rogue this side of Thorn Fire Glade. Kidnapping and ransom wasn't her usual M.O. but the target was intriguing. Though she would never admit it, even to herself, that was the main reason she had agreed to take the job. She smoothed the paper out on the bar and looked over the picture again. No turning back now. She thought as she finished her drink and tossed another gold to the Orc behind the bar. She looked at the portrait for another minute before folding it once again and heading up to her room to sleep and prepare for the next day.
Kind of…not really. I tried out a plot with a different roleplay, with dragons and the like. It flopped. Horribly…>.>’ What’s bouncing around in your brain then?
I was thinking a treasure hunter/dragonslayer type is hired to kill the dragon "laying waste" to the nearby villages. What he finds is a rather attractive, if cold, woman (the dragon) living in a cave in a nearby canyon. Long story short, the dragon was exiled many years before and her memory has been distorted by fear-mongering and time. She isn't fond of the humans anymore and all who have come after here have been killed by traps or her pets. I figure the hunter is intriguing to her, or maybe she's gotten lonely, so she doesn't kill him right away.
Ohhh! Sounds wonderful. I like. So, you wish to play the dragon, and as such, I assume the female. So, I shall be the human dragon slayer. Hmm…Let’s see, we’ve got your rules, and I assume this shall be in the past, correct?

No worries. It works for me! Though I should have been clearer as to the description/picture thing. I meant either/or =^_^= If you aren't happy with the picture feel free to take it down and do a written description instead. I just happened to know my species was already established and finding a picture of a red haired woman wasn't too hard (Though I had to go with a real one because all the anime girls looked about 12). Also, feel free to use anime pictures if that helps. I'm not a stickler like some about having the pictures match.
Wow...I just went looking for knight pictures and you're right! They just don't exist! I'd just write a description unless something miraculous falls from the sky.
P.S. I will actually start posting tomorrow as it is super late here and I need some sleep =^_^=;;

’Kay, I found an anime picture I rather like. ^u^ And it’s cool, I’m just horrible at bios. Much better at describing during the roleplay. So, Im’ma go edit it, and can’t wait for the reply.
Hello. I would love to RP with you. I consider myself advanced literate, so I'm sure that we could create a good story together. I'm rather interested in the half-breed and human pairing, perhaps in an apocalyptic setting? As soon as I saw that I had the image of a disease that spread through the world, perhaps stemming from the water supply, and everyone who drank the contaminated water got poised, the effects are similar to radiation poisoning. Some died, but those who have a specific blood type go through a transformation and become a monster/human hybrid. There is a cure, but that's in a safety zone at the city limits. Only some of the hybrids are friendly and with no transport and a limited time for the cure to work, it's pretty much a race to the other side of the city.
Of course, if you had a plot in mind already for it I'd love to hear it. Or if you don't like that I'd be happy to brainstorm. Of course, that's all dependent on you actually wanting me to be your partner. ^^ If you're interested, just give me a shout.
Hello~! I'm really very interested in your half-breed X human idea. Its broad but looks like its bubbling with possibilities. But, do you have a plot in mind?
I like the idea of the Rogue x Prince/ss roleplay, would you be interested in that still? I don't care if I'm the rogue or prince/ss, but I've never really roleplayed as a guy.
@Pink Roses: Those two are a little vague for me, but I'd love to brainstorm. What kind of setting would you be interested in?
@Squee: I would love to do that one! Both can easily be girls, and if you have no preference I already started the rogue and wouldn't mind continuing with her.
That would be awesome. Just so you know, I have a baby and a pending divorce, so if I go a while without posting, I'm probably dealing with one or both. I'll try not to let that happen, however. Do you have any plot ideas?
I'm sorry to hear that, and I understand. I hope it works out for you! Anyway, on to happier subjects! I was thinking the rogue, usually a cat-bugler type, was hired to kidnap and ransom the princess for a rival kingdom or perhaps a thieves guild. Once she gets ahold of her quarry, she starts having second thoughts and maybe even starts falling for her (depending on if you want this to go in a romantic direction, if you don't I won't be hurt =^_^= ). And then see where the story progresses from there! What do you think?
