Hey there. This is my first time doing an RP (Unless you cound D&D in real life), but I'm hoping things will go well.

I'm looking for a group of dedicated players to help save the fair city of Grargoth. I'm looking for creative minds who would enjoy exploring Grargoth and all it's secrets.

The city itself is a waystation in between worlds, so you can find anything here. Dragons, demons, elves, cyborgs, dinosaurs, beast men, robots, slug beings...Anything! And hidden in the shadows, watching over everything that happens in his fair city, is The Creator. Sensing trouble coming in the not too distant future, he has sent out invitations far and wide to all worlds, looking for heros to save it!

After I get a few a few players together, I'll put up the thred for the actual game, but for now I just need a few people to get started. Keep in mind, you will be steping out of the world you know, and into the nexus of all worlds.

I'd like fairly intracate discriptions of you character. There are NO restricions save for one thing....You can not be god. You can be imortal, just not god. I'll put up a template for characters, but you can add anything you like about your character, including back stories and avatars. And here it is!

Why/how you've come to Grargoth:


Grargoth looks like a extremely large city, filled with skyscrapers and castles, all surrounded by a very tall grey stone wall. The gate only appears for those invited inside. Your invitation is a thin metal rectangle with a display screen taking up one side.

The plea: -To all whom will listen, I need your help. My city is falling. Slowly but surely. If nothing is done, it will be gone before the year is out. Anyone, please, this is my final plea. Save Grargoth.-

Physical description: 5'5" 150 pounds. Light grey eyes with a blue tint. Brown hair that is waist length and kept in a simple ponytail. It is of a medium/hazelnut like shade. There is a strawberry birthmark on the left wrist and a beauty mark on the right collar bone.

Clothing: Loose black shorts. Flipflops w/ socks. Black tank top. White vest.

Powers: Control of growth patterns and movement of plants

Interesting Note: was human, fell in love with one of earths few remaining sorcerers, who turned her into an elf for her 20th birthday.

Why/how you've come to Grargoth: Boyfriend handed her the invitation, which was addressed to her, she said it sounded cool, and then fell through a hole in the floor and outside the wall of Grargoth.

Age: 43 (The fey age slightly slower than humans, although not immortal)
Race: Faerie (specifically a shoreline fey)
Physical description: She's tall, with webbed fingers. Her wings also serve as fins, so they are tough and look more like a sailfish fin than typical wings. They're also spiked at the end of each ray, so they can serve as weapons. They're waterproof. She has grey-blue eyes, bluish green hair and grey skin, with her front being a dappled with white. Her back is a darker shade of blue-grey.
Clothing: The fey don't typically wear clothing, but she has a very sheer wrap that she wears when among other races.
Powers: She can talk to birds, fish and dolphins. She's a powerful swimmer. She can sense storms long beforet others can. She can also find water no matter where she is.
Why/how you've come to Grargoth: A mysterious illness is killing the creature fo the area she lives in, and she suspects magic, not natural causes.

Still here, collecting heros! Anyone else up for a grand adventure? I may seem a little lax of late, but I'm still moveing the thread along at a decent pace. More players would speed things up considerably!

Physical description: A tall, dark skinned woman with long black dreadlocks and matching black eyes. She has a feminine build, but it has been tempered by her well trained and pronounced muscles. She is covered in scars- many of which look like they were carved into her skin with purpose.

Clothing: Urit wears clothing that completely covers her body. Her pants are loose, giving freedom of movement. She wears long sleeve shirts that also tend to be loose. She tends to wear vivid red and ambers. Her hands are always glvoed and she wears soft boots. very often, her dreadlocks are wrapped in a scarf, keeping them off of her face.

Powers: Urit doesn't have any 'powers', but she has skills. Through diligent training and fortitude, she has become a master of hand to hand combat. She is also highly skilled with the use of the war hammer- not quite a master, but close enough that most wouldn't know the difference. She has a strong constitution- both for endurance and for eating mildly poisonous compounds. She is knowledgeable about herbs, chemicals and poisons- using such things to her advantage. She has spent most of her life learning these skills- she was born with no innate power or ability.

Clothing(If Aplicable): A long royal blue coat covered in pockets (both inside and out) brown trousers, thin soled brown boots.
Underneath the coat she wears a loose shirt and gaudy yellow scarf for a belt.

Powers(If applicable): An accomplished pickpocket and climber. Fast and nimble on her feet. Practical joker. Has a giant shaggy black dog as tall as her called Largo. They can communicate by thought. Largo can communicate with others like this, but he often chooses not to.

Why/how you've come to Grargoth: She stole the talking triangle off a passing barbarian and found herself teleported there instantly. Now she wants to have fun and learn what she can about this new and exciting place.

Squall Ravenhart: Just one quick note, the Aidl is a rectangle, but other then that, you are set! Why/how you've come to Grargoth: ive found this strange rectangular object with a display on the back of it. i started to play round with it and it brought me here. "kinda looks like a key to something but i dont know what"
