Hi guys, I'm Claire.

I have this idea running around in my head. It requires a lot of input from the people who sign on as rulers of realms, but it also gives those people a lot of freedom to shape the realms as they see fit.

The story pretty much goes like this: The universe is made up of Realms. Each realm is ruled by a race, and in total there are Eleven- Espheria, the Realm of Phaeries; Shaefra, the Realm of Shapeshifters (Basically were-animals, but I couldn't think of an all-encompasing term and saying Lycanthropes would suggest that only werewolves lived there); Lunada, The Realm of Vampires; Aradria, the Realm of Spiders; Forgus, the Realm of Dwarves; Mithrigal, The Realm of Witches; Ardrimar, the Realm of Daemons; Terra, the Realm of Man; and Sydraea, the Water Realm. The ninth realm, Cadaecus, belongs to that of the Creators, the all-powerful, who instruct the Lords and Ladies of the realms as they see fit to keep the peace and balance. The tenth is Aescardica, the Gathering Realm were the Lords and Ladies meet when problems arise.

What would happen if one day, the Creators were suddenly silent? If they offered no guidance, no answers to problems and no means to keep peace? The Lords and Ladies would be pulled together to Aescardica. Peace must be kept, or chaos will consume the realms. A solution must be found or they will all die, consumed into the void between Realms. And old rivalries between species will make finding a solution close to impossible.

The status of the positions of different Lords and Ladies will be listed below, so that you guys can see which are open or not. If you apply for a spot, it will be on you to shape “your” realm- which means if I were to take the spot of the Lord of Witches, I could make Mithrigal look however I wanted. It could have rolling hills and bright, beautiful sunshine, or it could be a mysterious, mist-filled land. It is totally up to you in that respect. And yes, time will be spent in different realms- because after the initial meeting in Aescardica, everyone will have to scramble to make treaties to keep peace. Or rally their allies to gain control. Other positions will be open, of course, for those who do not want to be a Lord or Lady of a realm- advisor positions, as they were, although advisor positions are second in importance to ruler spots. We need those filled first before we can start, and advisor positions can be filled later (or if someone feels like doubling up on species.)

Before anyone applies, there are a few basic rules that everyone must adhere to.
1. As creator of this roleplay, what I say goes. I will always explain my actions if questioned, and will listen to what you guys have to say, but in the end please bear in mind that my decision is final.
2. Follow Mene ToS, and keep things PG-13. That should be a given.
3. Please be respectful to your fellow rp-ers. We’re all here to create a story together, and while your character can be a total asshat, that does not excuse you from being polite to everyone in OOC chat. Cooperate with each other, and be open to compromises.
4. I ask everyone to be at least semi-literate here. “leet” and chat speak is not acceptable. Neither Is Talking Like This, or talkinq liek dis. I expect at least five sentences from everyone, although one-liners will be accepted occasionally provided that they provide something for someone else to interact with. (I.e. instead of “he sat” write “he crossed the room and sat down, his back turned to them.”) And please, do feel free to write more ;)
5. While it is not required, it is highly suggested you reserve your spot before you send in your profile. You may do as you please, but I cannot guarantee the spot you want will be open when you send in your profile if you did not reserve it.

I will probably add more rules if needed, but for now that’s all.

Each Realm has an assortment of creatures within it, and the Ruler doesn’t exactly have to be what the Realm title suggests (For example, the Lord or Lady of the Phaeries could be a Dryad or Pixie instead of a true Fairy.) Feel free to be as creative as possible here! If there are other creatures that you think fit in the realms that are not listed, or there are creatures you think are put in the wrong realm, feel free to tell me. Also, “nobility” positions are not gender specific. The Ruler of the Phaeries could very easily be a boy, as the ruler of the Dwarves could be a girl. (If anyone needs any of the races explained, just let me know.)

Are we allowed to reserve more than one character? :D If so, I would like to reserve the Lord of Mithrigal and the Lady of Shaefra. I've got ideas for both of them, so I figured why not? Sounds like fun! :3

Pretty much there are different mythical realms, and all are overseen by a group called the creators.
The creators disappear one day, and everyone has to figure out what they're going to do.
And not everyone likes everyone else.

Yeah, Queen is right, there is only one per realm ^^ Sorry for not clearing that up. Each ruler is allowed advisors though, but they don't do much important when it comes to politics.

To be honest, I'm surprised no one took the Phaerie or Dwarf realms already OwO Or the Human realm, for that matter.
