We are killers - not murderers. Most of us have a set of precariously placed morals. Some of us won't strike at someone unarmed, others won't take on women, and others . . . just pick and choose. Not everyone is picky, of course. Sometimes the only way to line one's pockets with cash is to do whatever you're told.
The groups are divided into many sects. Each "guild," if I may, has its own set of guidelines and rules. The master assassins are the leaders: don't mess with them. They could breathe and take any team of men on.
- The Guilds -
1. Yat-sun rules over the most vicious group of all. Ruthless enough to know no boundaries, the assassins in this group are the most feared. Not because they are more skilled than the others, but because their methods show no honor. Let us say that only the most corrupt creatures enter this particular group. Not much is known about them, for their assassins tend to self-assassinate once captured. The only hints we have into their guild life is the brutal mess left behind of their victims. They use any means necessary to get rid of their mark.
2. Reylin Vos is the master of weapons. Shadows of the night and fiends of darkness stem from this guild. The other guilds see Reylin's guild similar to Yat-sun's, but there is a huge, striking difference: Reylin's assassins fight with honor. The best way to describe them is the traditional hired assassin: a mixture of honor and death.
3. Savaant controls the wandering killers. Loosely just travelers who go far and wide for their targets, they are based on people from the darker-skinned races.
4. Kayli leads the most modern of the groups. The second female guild leader, she guides her assassins in the use of technology and poison. They are subtle killers. Though they are the most modern of the guilds, they also have the least physical fighting abilities. Make it look like an accident in a modern crash of technology? Kayli has the men for it. Poison through a scanned food system? Piece of cake. They have some scruples with murder, though it is known that if the profit is high the other cheek will be turned.
5. Cassius leads the most honorable of the assassin guilds. They are practically hired guardians: they go after the most evil of people, taking them down with tact and honor. They don't sneak around in the world: they have no need to. Though they are the most "social" group of assassins as they interact with society, they still keep their secrets well. They are traditional: their weapons are blades and guns from the 20th Century (which are currently considered antiques).
((Psssh, I'm at a loss for guild names. We don't have to name them, merely the masters. :sweat: But . .. still. If you come up with anything you want to add or change, let me know! :eager:))

I took over the guild by killing my former master. I trained until it became my life . . . and in the end, I became the master. Ever since I gained control over the assassins of my group, I have been struggling to keep our business clean. It is a constant battle to stay on the right side of the law when many of my people strive to push us over the edge. Still, they will do nothing to draw my anger. I can be a very frightening person when I want to be.
I lost my mother to assassins as a child. My entire mission in life has been to become the best; to beat the best; to destroy all opposition. Still . . . the one thing I learned from my former master was that there should always be room for mercy. When I finally found my mother's killer, I . . . couldn't kill the woman. She was released, only to die a few days later from a mysterious poison. I can't help but wonder if "mercy" would have come in the form of my own blade.
The strange markings on my body are genetic faults - every time I am cut or receive a new scar, they transform into dark markings that fill my skin like tattoos.

Water freaks me out. As a child, I almost drowned. That moment left me mentally active, but completely and utterly helpless. I was blind, paralyzed, unable to eat . . . the doctors hooked me up to a ton of things just to keep me breathing.
Of course, it was all with good intentions that I was fixed - so they tried machinery. I became a cyborg when I was 18 - it's been a year since then. I joined the assassins for personal reasons.
