"I see." He answered, absorbed in his reading. He could see her take out some drawing materials and start sketching him sitting there reading, and so he said nothing; letting her draw him without interruption. A while passes before he suddenly speaks up, breaking the thick silence. "I guess you could say I'm traveling to get away from my parents as well." He pauses mid-page turn, thinking hard about something. "It's less of that and more of avoiding responsibility." He murmurs finally, finishing the page turn and going back to reading.

"...seems like we're both in the same boat to me." He observes, the birds in the tree above him chirping happily to each other. "We both seem to have taken off because we didn't want to do something. Yours was farming, if I'm correct, and mine was..." He pauses. "Similar." He wasn't paying attention to her facial expression to see if she was interested or not; and if she wasn't, then he didn't want to waste breath explaining himself to her.
