He hands them to her in exchange for the drawing, his flayed and burnt hands sneaking back under the sleeves of his robe after the transaction is complete. And he says nothing more, sensing the conversation was pretty much over. And so, he closed his eyes and leaned his head on the wood of the tree. Deciding to rest a little bit before he got back on the road again--he couldn't shake the feeling he was wasting time, though he knew he wasn't and he had nothing else to do.
