Invidia slowly opened her eyes as she let out a large yawn. She was lying in her queen sized bed in her room, the sun peeking through her thin black curtains. She let out a soft sigh as she rolled onto her left side, curling up into the fetal position. She stared at the empty side of the bed, memories flooding into her mind. She used to wake up next him in this bed... His soft, tan skin. His long, black hair. His full, kissable lips.
She groaned and turned onto her right side, staring at the empty space between the bed and the wall. She slide a hand slightly under her pillow, pulling out her cellphone and checking for any texts. Just a "good morning" text from her best friend... She stared at it, contemplating on whether to answer it now or later. Another sigh escaped her lips as she slide the keyboard out.

Anthony sat on the couch in his grandmother's living room, staring at whatever lame show his granny had on. He sighed boredly and stood, heading to the door and going outside. He pulled a pack of menthol cigarettes out of his pocket along with a zippo lighter. He opened the pack, pulling a cigarette out and placed the filter part between his lips before lighting it with the zippo. Exhaling smoke through his nostrils, he slid the pack and lighter back into the front pocket of his tight blue jeans.
