Kamilah Eshe
Kamilah made her way down the busy streets of New York. It was still early enough, so for now, she was trying to scope the place out. Trying to get a better feel of it. It was very much different than Egypt. She missed the sun and clear skies. She could hardly see the stars here! And it was so, gloomy. Something that was rather depressing. She had worn a light purple sundress, one that complimented her figure and reached down to her knees. For shoes she wore sandals and as some decoration she wore a solid gold armlet that coiled around a few times. That would hardly ever change. She hated how the normal shoes constricted her feet. She enjoyed the breeze. Some people hardly noticed her, and were rather rude.

She almost had half a mind to tell some people off when they shoved into her. She didn't have the heart however. Oh father. Why have things changed so much? Do we really need these people to restore your powers? She knew the goal but she still didn't understand why they had to start here. Who was she to argue with the gods though. She wasn't even a full goddess yet. That would change though. If she completed the goal along with the other demi-gods.. They would all join their immortal parents.

She made her way to a cafe, since she was getting a little hungry. She had money of course, having been provided enough to make her own for a few weeks. She still had to get a job. Her father had offered to give her everything she needed, but being ever stubborn, she had refused. Now she had to find a good place to live in and a job. The job was to help her assimilate with everyone else. The living space, well.. She didn't want to live somewhere huge by herself. Which she was sure to have had if her father had his way. He always was a little spoiling. She had thankfully found a nice enough place that was a sort of, apartment styled, but a bit more on the high end. Enough to please her father. She was to move there by tonight.

Her purple eyes scanned the place, looking around as she spotted a seat near a window at the cafe. She quickly headed there and sat down, getting the menu and started to look through it. Good thing she had learned the language before coming here. She smiled charmingly at one of the waitresses, asking for a bagel and a hot chocolate. Once she got her order down, she turned her attention out the window, inspecting the humans. Some were very curious.

Their manners were different. Sadly she wanted to restore their faith in the gods, but they were rather deaf to anything they didn't find in their interest. It had been harder than she though. They had to start off small. A few people would be good enough. But who?

Damien
The black haired youth groaned somewhat, heaving a heavy box away from his desk before he took out some books. Now he knew the phrase 'taking your work home'. Normally he would object to such things but he couldn't help it. He had to do a ton of research, and only had a few weeks to finish the paper. He brushed some papers away before opening his laptop. He was looking for another room as he didn't have enough money to pay for this one. It wasn't that he didn't have it. It was just that it was getting too small for him.

Damien turned on the computer, waiting for it to load as he grabbed a plate of hot pockets from the top of the box of books. The books were mostly myths, but also historical stuff. Mostly because his class needed him to write about something he was 'passionate' about. He had to find three things from history that stood out to him, and then expand on them. Also how it changed things to what they were today. The last part was a bit tricky.

Once he took a bite from the food, he clicked on the internet, checking out some pages to see if anyone was offering a place to stay for the time being. For a cheap price and close to the college. He found a couple, but none that really stood out too much. He almost sighed before he just gave up, figuring he would just put up an ad himself, to see if anyone wanted a roommate, to contact him. The information he put was his cell phone, name and that he, well needed a roommate who wouldn't mind any books around sometimes.
