Hunter felt a hand on the back of his shirt, but before he could react or say anything his body was yanked backwards. The fiery red head, who seemed to lack knowledge on personal space, had fallen into his arms proclaiming him 'her hero.' Before Hunter could explain he caught her simply because she fell into him she started rubbing her nose into his chest. Suddenly she turned her head to some people across the street , screaming at them as follows. "Oh go gawk someone else you losers."
Hunter laughed, this girl had a lot of energy and it was really refreshing but at the same time she was so close to him physically that it was kind of embarrassing. A wave of blush ran over his face, but it quickly washed away. Hunter smiled at her as she took a step back, leaving the embrace of his arms. He kind of liked having her close, it made him feel less lonely, though, it was still embarrassing.
The girl introduced herself as Haley, a solid name for the fiery red head. He laughed at her comment regarding school - a place he had not been to since he graduated high school and had no recent plans to return too. He managed to sneak out a few words before she could run full throttle into him again, or yell at some strangers. "I'm Hunter. Hunter Arka. The middle name is cliche, very eighteen hundreds." Hunter laughed a little and then smiled, he realized it must have been this girl to have referred to him as some emo on the street. Well, emo dude to be exact.
Hunter watched as she pulled out her cellphone, fingers moving fast as lightning and as quickly as she had brought out her phone did she send a seemingly long message. Hunter smirked, at least she knows about technology - it is a main redeeming quality.
Hunter turned to the direction of the school for a moment before looking back at Haley. "Oh no. School is a waste of my time." Hunter laughed, that was the same story he had told his mother when he planned to drop out. She took it well. "You are headed to school I would guess?" Hunter glanced over her, it was more then obvious she was headed for school. "If you want to skip school - I'm going for a stroll." Hunter smiled and laughed, looking down at their linked arms. "Seems we are going together then." Hunter laughed again, before turning his attention back to her. "I guess I could walk you too school or something."
