Fae made a face at his insistence that she didn't have to repay him, but as always, it was playful. Maybe she was treating him like a cat with a mouse, but so far she had no such inclinations. She seemed to simply like toying with him; he was so serious, she thought, that he needed a little change.
"You're no fun," she finally noted, closing her eyes and turning her head away as if fed up with him; she finished the rest of her meat with considerable speed as she stood up, turning to pull her cloak off of the branch, grabbing the small, clearly mostly empty satchel that rested on the ground, throwing the first over her arm, the second on her shoulder. "If you're going to be like that," she said, looking at him out of the corner of her eye, "You can at least keep me company while I return to town." The slight quirk on her lips betrayed the playfulness that had continued throughout her entire "tantrum," but it became hidden as she turned and started to walk away yet again, feeling better already after the small amount of meat.
